One such person is actor Rajkummar Rao, who said that he will ask his casting friends to reach out to him. © Instagram Rajkummar said that he has always admired Sidhu's work in all his films and was left inspired after reading his story. He wrote, "Very inspired by ur story #SaviSidhu sir. Have always admired ur work in all ur films. Love ur positivity. Will def ask all my casting friends to reach out to u. I respect Savi Siddhu as an actor and have cast him thrice when he earned the role. I respect him that he chose to live his life with dignity and picked a job unlike so many entitled out of work actors who have either." There are so many actors out there who don't have work. I respect him that he chose to live his life with dignity and picked a job unlike so many entitled out of work actors who have either — Anurag Kashyap (@anuragkashyap72) March 19, 2019 He even took instances of actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui and others, "Nawaz used to be a watchman. I used to be a waiter, I met one actor who sells bhelpuri on the streets, I know an actor from 'Black Friday' who drives a rickshaw. I have seen the great Uday Chandra who did 'Hum Paanch' and 'Khel Khiladi Ka' in my early days walking the street. This is also true for many people in all walks of life. To give an actor a role out of sympathy is insulting.” 3. I have seen the great Uday Chandra who did “Hum Paanch” and “Khel Khiladi Ka” in my early days walking the street. Only thing one can do is get the casting directors to audition him for him to earn the role and for that he will have to walk to that casting directors office like million others. He has made a conscious choice and .. — Anurag Kashyap (@anuragkashyap72) March 19, 2019 To be a watchman is a job, I don't see it as a small job or big. At least he is not begging . And I genuinely believe that charity does not make art or an artist. There are millions of stories like Savi Siddhu's. — Anurag Kashyap (@anuragkashyap72) March 19, 2019 Well, we hope Savi Sidhu comes back into Bollywood with a bang and continue to impress us with his work.
  2. The moment someone mentions Bollywood, the first thought that comes to our mind is the luxurious lifestyle of our beloved celebrities lead, the crazy fame and fan-following they enjoy and of course, the insane amount of money they earn per film. But, it's very rare when someone shows us the other side of the coin. A side which is dark and filled with thorns, miseries and struggles. Meet Savi Sidhu, whose story is a reflection of how unpredictable an actor's life can be. A man who was once an actor is now working as a security guard. © YouTube For most of us, Savi Sidhu might be a name we are hearing for the first time, but this man had once shared the screen with Akshay Kumar, Dimple Kapadia and Rishi Kapoor in 'Patiala House'. He has also worked in movies like 'Gulaal', 'Black Friday' and 'Bevakoofiyan'. He played Commissioner Samra in 'Black Friday'. But, today the man does not even have money to buy movie tickets. Now, Savi Sidhu is working as a security guard and a video featuring his life story was recently shared on YouTube. © YouTube The video begins with him talking about how Bollywood happened to him. "Anurag Kashyap mile, struggle karte karte toh mujhe Paanch mei liya, unki jo pehli film thi release nahi hui. Uske baad unhone mujhe 'Black Friday' mei liya, one of the main characters that is Commissioner Samra ka role kiya maine then unke sath maine 'Gulaal' bhi kari. Maine Yash Raj, Subhash ji ke sath, Nikhil Advani ke sath 'Patiala House' kari." While talking about his toughest phase, Sidhu who does a 12-hour shift as a security guard in a housing society said, "Sabse tough phase wo tha when I lost my wife". After that, he lost his father, mother and in-laws too. Eventually, he became alone, "akela hote hote alone". © YouTube Today he does not even have the money for bus tickets and watching a movie has become a distant dream for him. "Bohot filme miss kar raha hoon... dekhne ka mann karta hai par meri financial position aisi hai", he further added. Sidhu does not blame Bollywood for his struggle, "Kaam ki kabhi problem nahi hui. Mujhe hi chhodna pada ki mai nahi kar pa raha hoon. You know... it was like kya mere liye wait kar raha hai... yaha jaise logo ko kaam milta nahi aur mere pas itna kaam hai ki mai kaam nahi kar pa raha. Meri financial problems bhi badh gayi, health problems bhi badh gayi toh kaam khatam ho gaya." Although Sidhu might be going through one of the toughest times of his life, he is still hopeful that one day he is going to come back to Bollywood with a bang, and we hope that we get to see him on the big screen once more.

  6. It seems like the honeymoon period for newlyweds Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone is not over yet. Their wedding and multiple receptions maybe over, but their love for each other is only growing on their fans by each passing day. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Ranveer Singh (@ranveersingh) on Nov 28, 2018 at 6:59am PST The king and the queen of hearts united in real-life but were not that lucky in love in their last box-office outing together, and that's what made the premise of 'Padmaavat' into such a strong story. Ranveer, as the mad-in-love and obsessed Khilji, has garnered a lot of praises for his role and now, he is reaping the fruits in terms of sweeping all the 'best actor' trophies out there. Last night at the 'Star Screen Awards', he swept the 'best actor' trophy and we were not surprised. 7. Oscars 2019 is nearing and boy, it's going to a tight race this time, thanks to the string of mind-blowing string of performances we witnessed this year. via GIPHY It goes without saying that Rami Malek is leading the race after his unbelievably brilliant portrayal of the iconic Freddie Mercury in 'Bohemian Rhapsody'. via GIPHY However, he does have some serious competition lined up: Christian Bale - Vice Academy Award winner Christian Bale has gone through a massive transformation in Adam McKay's 'Vice', and we see him as one of the front-runners this awards season. via GIPHY Bale delivers a distinctive performance as he imitates former Vice President Dick Cheney. The world is all in praise of Bale's acting here and we now know up to what extent he can strain himself to add weight to his character. Literally, if needed. via GIPHY Though he didn't receive any nominations for his transformative role in 'The Machinist', we are highly positive of this one, as his magnificence and hard work cannot be ignored. Bradley Cooper - A Star Is Born Bradley Cooper is in the limelight again after years, thanks to his highly commercial and critically acclaimed film 'A Star Is Born'. via GIPHY Bradley has not only acted in the film, but has also directed it. This was a performance that was deep and spectacular at every level. As much as the glitter was on Lady Gaga, Cooper effortlessly shifted the spotlight upon him at various junctures in the film. via GIPHY Cooper's evolution in the film was much of an emotional ride for fans who have always seen him doing the bro-dude characters (apart from the one in 'Silver Linings Playbook'). We predict Cooper to be amongst one of the nominees. Who knows, he might win as well! Viggo Mortensen - Green Book Peter Farrelly's 'Green Book' is receiving a very clear response from the audience, thanks to Viggo Mortensen's poignant act that has landed him almost to the Academy conversation. via GIPHY Beyond any doubt, this is Viggo's career-defining performance. Toni (played by Viggo) may have used the N-word in the film, however, that would certainly not reduce his chances of getting nominated for Oscars 2019. via GIPHY Though Viggo has never been nominated by the Academy, he has won the SAG-AFTRA for 'The Lord of the Rings'. Robert Redford - The Old Man & The Gun In September this year, Robert Redford announced his retirement from Hollywood leaving his fans disappointed. Redford's last performance as Forrest Tucker in 'The Old Man & the Gun' is now being appreciated. via GIPHY Robert plays a grandpa with a pistol who escapes a prison and carries out a series of bank robberies. via GIPHY Though the film's script and direction are being criticized, Redford has strong chances of getting nominated, thanks to his five-decade-long career that may influence the jury about his nomination. Rami Malek - Bohemian Rhapsody Rami Malek deserves an Oscar for his outstanding performance in 'Bohemian Rhapsody'! Well, this is what people and media outlets are tweeting these days. via GIPHY Malek has added the absolute proportions of boldness, madness, and depth while playing Freddie Mercury, a timeless icon! For some, the film is too much to absorb, for others Rami is the real Queen! via GIPHY It is interesting to note that 'Bohemian Rhapsody' hasn't received any lukewarm responses and has now become the highest grossing music biopic that has ever been made. Rami Malek can be a game changer, and we are entirely positive about his nomination. Honourable Mentions Hugh Jackman – The Front Runner John C. Reilly - Stan & Ollie Ryan Gosling – First Man Stephan James - If Beale Street Could Talk Clint Eastwood – The Mule Lucas Hedges – Boy Erased Ethan Hawke – First Reformed
  8. Hard work pays off. If not today, then tomorrow and Akshay Kumar is the living example of it. It's hard to believe but the man who won a national award for his film 'Rustom', was once termed as a 'furniture actor.' The arduous journey from being an action hero to an actor wasn't easy for him. Before Akshay Kumar, he was known as Rajiv Bhatia, who wasn't very good at academics and was always more inclined towards sports. His father, Mr. Hari Om Bhatia, was well aware of this fact and hence, sent him to Bangkok to study martial arts. There, along with learning martial arts, our Khiladi worked as a waiter & a chef, not knowing that one day he'll be hosting Master Chef of India. © Warner Bros After he learned Muay Thai there, a form of arts, he came back to India and started teaching martial arts in Mumbai. One of his students suggested him to try modelling. But he didn't have a portfolio and didn't have any money to make one. So he worked as an assistant to a famous photographer, Jayesh Seth, for around a year and a half for free to get his first portfolio shot. Then came modelling gigs and he became quite fond of it as he made more money as a model in the first couple of days than he did in an entire month as a martial arts teacher. On one such occasion, he missed his flight to Bangalore for an ad shoot. Devastated by this, he went to a film studio along with his portfolio to look for work. Luck played its part and he got signed as a lead role for the film 'Deedar.' Maybe it's true when they say, whatever happens, happens for good. But this wasn't his first film. His first film was Aaj (1987) which was directed by Mahesh Bhatt. He had a 4-5 second role of a karate instructor in it and Kumar Gaurav was his co-actor. The interesting part is that the name of Kumar Gaurav's character was Akshay in it. One morning, Rajiv Bhatia decided to change his name for no reason whatsoever and then born was our beloved Akshay Kumar. © Tridev Arts Akshay's first release was 'Saugandh' which was released in 1991. 'Deedar', which he signed before 'Saugandh', was released in 1992. His first couple of films didn't do great, but then came 'Khiladi', which did quite all right at the box office. His first hit, however, was 'Mohra', which came in 1994. Akshay has given many flops in his lifetime, including 14 back to back flop once, but he still always managed to bag movies because he was a producer's man. Akshay was punctual on sets, didn't throw any tantrums and never misused the producer's money. Apart from his action skills, this was one of the major reasons he was loved by his directors and producers. There came a time in Akshay's life where he was called a furniture actor as the man himself realised that all he is doing is action, and nothing much. In one of the interviews he said, "Whenever someone used to make an action film, they would say 'take this guy called Akshay'. When it came to acting, nobody used to take me." That's when he started looking for films which could bring out the actor inside of him. And then no one could stop him! He proved his mettle in comedy, drama, romance and almost every other genre. In 2000, he did 'Hera Pheri' & 'Dhadkan', which were a comedy and a romance film respectively. Both the films performed well at the box office and everyone applauded Akshay's acting skills. Hera Pheri is still considered as one of the best comedy films of Bollywood. Since then, Akshay has worked in more than a hundred films and has even done negative roles. For 'Ajnabee', he has won Filmfare in the category of Best Villain. © YouTube Akshay's personal life has also been quite happening until he met the love of his life. He had affairs with the likes of Shilpa Shetty and Raveena Tandon. But our hero finally fell in love with Twinkle Khanna, which actually started as a fling. On 'Koffee With Karan', Twinkle revealed, “I had come out of a long-term relationship and for the first time in my life I wanted to just have a fling. And there he was, sitting 6 feet of chocolate ice-cream. So I decided I am going to have a fling with him and it's going to last 15 days. That was my plan.” But the relationship grew and Akshay proposed to Twinkle for marriage. She didn't say yes right away and put a condition. She told him that if her film 'Mela' wouldn't perform well, then only she would marry him. She was actually quite sure that it would do well and marriage was the last thing on her mind. © Star World Luckily for Akshay, 'Mela' turned out to be a disaster. But Twinkle didn't say yes that easily even then. Instead of asking for his Kundali, she asked Akshay what diseases ran in his family, at what age did his uncles go bald, what did his aunt die from, and everything related to his genetics. Basically, she wanted to confirm their children would be perfectly healthy and good looking. She even made a list of pros and cons of marrying Akshay. (Tell your boyfriend this when he complains that you over think.) © YouTube Even Twinkle's mother, Dimple Kapadia, was sceptical about the marriage. She asked the duo to be in a live-in relationship first as she had heard that Akshay might be gay. What a cool mom, eh? But in the end, everything turned out well and Akshay tied the knot with Twinkle in 2001. Seems like some flings do turn into something great! Akshay is one of the most famous Bollywood actors, arguably THE most famous since he's the first Indian male actor to have 20 million followers on Instagram. This fan following came from all the hard work he has done to make himself stand where he is. © Twitter/Akshay Kumar He's known to wake up at 4 in the morning and go back to bed at 9. His schedule and punctuality are the reasons that he releases around three films in a year. Even at 50, he's fitter than most of us. He is also known for playing pranks with his co-actors on sets. Akshay is also a philanthropist since he actively promotes women empowerment, women's safety, the importance of the army, and also helps farmers whenever needed. © Excel Entertainment Most of his films are quite inspiring which gives a strong message to society. His recent film was on Independent India's first gold medal in hockey. Though being a teetotaller himself, he played the role of an alcoholic in this film and if you ask me, he nailed the role, like always! His upcoming film is '2.0' in which he'll be playing an antagonist and will be seen in an all-new avatar. © Lyca Productions We hope he keeps making inspiring films and keeps on entertaining us.
  9. Actors and celebrities are privileged, and that's a fact. But when they start using their privilege to do something good for the people, it's just a great thing to see. We've seen so many actors taking on social issues and working towards helping people and just working for the betterment of the country, especially in the time of a calamity. Now there's a new actor that has been added to this long list. Tamil Film Producers' Council (TFPC) president and South India actor Vishal has made the announcement that he will be adopting the Kaarkavaiyal village in Thanjavur district. Talking about the same, he tweeted - This village is mine. #kaarkavaiyaI thanjavur district. I swear I will bring back this village to normality and this will be my responsibility forever. Model village on the way.i luv u group #socialarchitects to help me achieve this.god bless — Vishal (@VishalKOfficial) November 24, 2018 In case you didn't know, the Thanjavur district has been heavily hit by the Cyclone Gaja with Kaarkavaiyal village being one of the worst affected regions in the area. People are obviously moved by this gesture and are probably looking forward to the entire restoration. There is also a video going around on Twitter with the villagers thanking the actor for his generosity. Actor Vishal has adopted a Village (தà®à¯à®à®¾à®µà¯à®°à¯ மாவà®à¯à®à®®à¯, பà®à¯à®à¯à®à¯à®à¯à®à¯à®à¯ தà¯à®à¯à®¤à®¿, à®à®¾à®°à¯à®à®¾à®µà®¯à®²à¯ à®à®¿à®°à®¾à®®à®®à¯) that has been destroyed by GajaCyclone Here is a resident from the Village thanking @VishalKOffical & Vishal has promised that he will make this Village the best in the Country pic.twitter.com/4va3zFlrAy — Ramesh Bala (@rameshlaus) November 24, 2018 This is really a great news, hope every actor adopt a village from the impacted region and work for its betterment. If #Vishal really takes this serious and improve their life then definitely people will forget and forgive the past promises which he did not fulfill #kaarkavaiyaI — Arima (@Dracarys28) November 24, 2018 People are really happy with him. Actor Raghava Lawrence also announced that he would be building 50 houses for those in cyclone-ravaged areas. pic.twitter.com/hJTrvAH5zh — Raghava Lawrence (@offl_Lawrence) November 25, 2018 It's great to see actors actually taking charge and doing something instead of just sending their thoughts and prayers on Twitter.
  10. Jennifer Winget just became the second most followed TV celebrity in the country. Woohoo! With 7 million followers, she's now behind Divyanka Tripathi by just a little bit. But, we believe in Jennifer, and she'll soon be on top. I mean, after going through her Instagram feed, I'm not at all surprised that she has well over 70 lakh people watching her stories and liking her pictures. To commemorate this incredible milestone, she celebrated by posting a little dance video, which could basically be her way of throwing a dance party. 11. Every time a new face with a promise of talent enters Bollywood, the industry lets out a sigh of relief, as talent is something which is still a rarity. Most faces are unable to shoulder this huge responsibility, and either burn out, or vanish - never to be seen again. Naturally, on the rare occasions when someone faces this challenge and wins it, that too with flying colours, and continues to prove their mettle time and time again, people take notice. Vicky Kaushal, undoubtedly, is one of those rare individuals, who has been delivering superb performances - without faltering in the slightest. (c) Instagram However, things did not start out to be all rosy for the talented lad, despite being the son of action director Mr Sham Kaushal. In a candid interview with 'Humans Of Bombay', Vicky shared his story. (c) Instagram "During college, I decided to interview for an IT job just for the thrill of it. I wanted to experience the 'nervousness' -- wearing a tie and waiting for someone to give your resumé to. I already knew that I wasn't ever going to choose that profession, even when I got the offer letter. My dad's an action director and despite his hope that 'Kaushal parivar ka chirag' is going to get a job with a secure pay and a 9-5 schedule — I announced that I wanted to become an actor. But, I'd never known struggle like my father had. He went into films only for survival. When my mom married him - they lived in a small 10x10 room, with a chattai and a chair. My father built everything from there on. He didn't have it easy - he had to hunt for our next meal. So he was very clear even if he didn't bring his work to the dining table, he made sure to let us know where each piece of furniture came from. That's why when I told him I wanted to act - he told me to be sure. Acting as a profession could not be a question mark for me. I needed to put 120% and not have a back up because then you can never put your full effort. So I tore up that offer letter from the engineering job and set out for auditions. My first one was horrifying. It was for a small role in a big film and I realised how far from everything I was. On my way home, I was like 'Vicky, ab toh tune job letter bhi phaad diya!' I was afraid, but I literally couldn't give up. So the next day, I got out of my house at 11 and set off to more auditions. I even started theatre and evolved as an actor. I wanted to learn the practicality. Finally Masaan released in 2015. And that's when my dad saw my performance on a big screen. He was really proud -- when he got a phone call from one of his friends - saying 'Vicky ke papa' He called me in 10 mins saying 'you know what happened? Someone called me Vicky's dad today!' So that's it. The journey from being my father's son to him being Vicky's dad was what gave me hope… things were changing. And my happiest moment since then was when I first bought my own car with my own money. When you're younger, you just say things like I'll have my own Mercedes someday.. Never knowing when it'll happen. So I took my mom to the show room and she said, 'You remember when you were younger, you used to point out toy cars in those shops? And today you're making me sit in your car.' She had tears in her eyes. That was the moment I knew that I've retained my title as being the 'Kaushal parivaar ka chirag,' and I did it on my own terms." (c) Facebook All we can say is, Kudos! All the luck in the world to you, Vicky!

  13. Considering some of the biggest and most successful movies in Bollywood are based on those, we can say one thing for sure – you can almost never go wrong with a biopic of an inspiring person. Some of the biggest actors in the film industry have tried their best in bringing someone else's life story on the big screen and now Shahid Kapoor is also all set to join the league of Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra among others and portray the boxing legend Dingko Singh in a biopic. Ngangom Dingko Singh, or better known as just Dingko Singh is a former boxing champ and Asian Games gold medallist from Manipur. He was also the first and only Asian gold medallist boxer from India in the Bantamweight category. Moreover, for all of his achievements for the country, he was also awarded the prestigious Padma Shri in 2013. Dingko has become an inspiration for so many boxers and people aspiring to excel at the sport and he's so passionate about the sport, he went on to become a coach for young boxers. Well, looks like it was about time he got his very own well-deserved biopic. © Twitter This seems like such an important and ambitious project, Shahid Kapoor definitely has his work cut out for him. Talking about the movie, the actor said, “The thing that I loved about this story is that he is one of those superstars who we don't know much about. If a film like Dangal (2016) wasn't made, we wouldn't know as much about the Phogat sisters. Dingko is a cancer survivor, and he went through 13 rounds of chemotherapy. He has even gone on to say that his biggest win was surviving cancer and not the gold medal he won at the age of 19 at the 1998 Asian Games in Bangkok.” Shahid already looks very excited for his next big film and has nothing but respect for the inspiring story of a hero not a lot of people know about. He went on, “In 2017, Gautam Gambhir became aware of his situation and sent money for his treatment. Soon, people found out who he was, and 13 doctors came forward to help him. He is a sports star who survived cancer. At some point in his past, he had almost become a Naxalite. His life story is unbelievably crazy; it is very human and extremely inspiring. Such amazing stories of heroes need to be told.” The Dingko Singh biopic is all set to come out next year and is expected to release in September 2019. No offence to Shahid Kapoor, but the only question I have about this casting is why couldn't they find a north-eastern actor to portray a north-eastern person? There needs to be representation for everyone but looks like they're missing the mark again, just like Bollywood did with Mary Kom when Priyanka Chopra was cast to play her. © Twitter Well, I'm not surprised but just disappointed. Let's just wait till Bollywood will finally start recognizing talented people from the entire country, don't know when that will happen though. Recently, the internet came together to stop Scarlett Johansson from portraying a transgender person in movie, and she ultimately walked out of the project. The change has started happening in Hollywood, so hopefully Bollywood will also follow soon.

Eat whatever you like but in a smart way. Do not punish yourself by not eating all the time. Eat anything and everything but once in a while. Please eat whatever you like because that will make you happy, but you need to be in control. My day comprises of 90 percent healthy food and 10 percent unhealthy food because I'm already in shape and I can burn those extra calories with one or two hours of exercise. But for someone who needs to get in shape, it has to be 100 percent healthy eating everyday (maybe have a cheat meal once a week till you achieve the results). Once you get the results, you'll know how your body reacts and you can adjust your exercise routine and diet accordingly. © Instagram 2. The one body part you should never ignore when it comes to workout? Chest and Legs both. I think these two body parts define a perfect body. © Instagram 3. Natural fuzz vs. waxed/trimmed body hair? Trimmed hair. You got to wax or trim regularly if you wish to see the results and also it makes you look younger. © Instagram 4. Grooming essentials - what are the products you can't do without? I try to keep everything very natural as I hardly use any products. Natural rose water is something I always rely on. © Instagram 5. Shave down there or trim it? Definitely trim. © Instagram 6. Best lighting for clicking nudes (or just for the boudoir)? I need to try it and get back to you on that one haha! © Instagram 7. Did you ever face any insecurity about your own body? What did you do to deal with it? Well, I have always been into sports but never had a great frame like an athlete.I had to work harder than the rest to have a defined body and that included going to the gym twice a day for 2 months when I was in college. © Instagram 8. What is the toughest challenge according to you, when it comes to obtaining and maintaining a body in its peak shape? Maintaining rock hard abs for sure. That's the time I completely go on a low-carb diet - which is very hard. © Instagram 9. Not everyone is content with the way their body looks. How do you suggest one should deal with it? Stop eating unhealthy food all the time and not doing any form of exercise. You need to maintain a balance in your daily life. Start slowly and don't give up. Start with 3 days of workout a week and then increase it slowly. Also, start with 50 percent of healthy diet at least, and then shift to a 100 percent healthy diet plan. The initial phase is always the toughest. © Instagram 10. The lines are constantly thinning, when it comes to what is beautiful and what is not. Body positivity is slowly catching up, and the 'accepted standards' of beauty and fitness are getting questioned. What are your views about it? Well, it depends on what makes you feel happy and pretty. It could be eating a lot and not working out or vice versa but you also need to respect your body by keeping it healthy. I'm not saying you become good-looking by getting fit but it definitely helps you stay active and more focused in life, and that in itself makes you feel pretty and confident.

Our 'Body Love' expert here is actor Sahil Salathia, who answers 7 intimate questions about his physique. © Sahil Salathia 1. One Food You Should Never, Ever Eat? To be honest, try and avoid sugar and junk as much as you can. Keep your one or two cheat meals in place every week but don't make a habit of consuming sugar and/or junk every other day. Personally, I even avoid white rice completely. I have replaced white rice in my diet with quinoa. I have even found a substitute for wheat chapatis in 'naachni roti'. These small changes in your diet go a long way and once you form a habit of them, life seems super normal, unless you are a Bengali and just can't live without rice haha! Btw, I love Bengali fish curry with white rice. That is my ultimate food fetish. Hence, I am going to marry a Bengali girl who can make me fish curry every now and then. Rest of the time, I'll cook quinoa and 'naachni roti' for the two of us. © Sahil Salathia 2. The One Body Part You Should Never Ignore When It Comes To Workout? For me, it's legs and chest. As Indian men, we love huge shoulders and that's it, we stop there. Most of us then look like some strange species that has legs made of paper and shoulders of steel. It's very important to have a body that's proportionate and not out of order when you look at it from head to toe. Plus, having strong legs automatically helps you in building a strong core. Chest happens to be my personal favourite body part to work on. I like it tight and toned and not so huge. Lean is in, and rightfully so! © Sahil Salathia © Sahil Salathia 3. Natural Fuzz Vs. Waxed/Trimmed Body Hair? I would say it depends on my mood. Sometimes, I like to look like an animal that is not really into fixing body hair. And then, that guy with that trimmed body hair is also me! I prefer trimming body hair though because it's definitely more hygienic and weather-friendly in a city like Bombay, where I currently live. Waxing is a major no for me. It hurts, man, I have been told. 4. Grooming Essentials - Top 5 Products? 1. My medicated soap called 'Acneguard' that keeps acne under check. Clear skin is a major plus for anybody, be it a man or a woman! 2. Sunscreen/sunblock. Could be any brand as long as the SPF is good enough to save that skin under the sun. 3. B Blunt volumizing leave-in spray for that perfect hairdo. © Sahil Salathia 4. Clinique Aloe shave gel for a good shave. Since it's Aloe Vera based, it really cools the skin down and helps with cuts, if at all. 5. Clinique charcoal face wash for that extra push for a relatively cleaner face and to keep all that Bombay pollution ruining the skin under control. © Sahil Salathia 5. Shave Down There Or Trim It? I like to trim it mostly. But not that I have never shaved it. So, yup, both...depends on my mood. I'm such a moody guy I tell ya! © Sahil Salathia 6. Best Lighting For Clicking Nudes (Or Just For The Boudoir)? Top light. Body looks amazing. Now, since you are taking nudes, you might as well look your naked best! *winks* © Sahil Salathia 7. Any Last Minute Tip? Just stay happy from within, man! I know it sounds preachy but it's true AF. Meditate if you can take some time out. Don't miss your workouts because they will fix your mental health also and you will obviously look sexier naked. Now, who doesn't want that? Picture Credits: Tanmay Mainkar
  16. Rajkummar Rao is one of the coolest actors out there right now, and don't even fight me on that. We all know he's an incredible actor, but after seeing his interviews and stuff, you know that he's one of the best people to be around. He just seems that easy-going and fun. Along with that, he's also one of the only self-made actors in the industry right now. We all know how nepotism works here – Kangana Ranaut has reminded us about it time and again – and how hard it is to make it in Bollywood without a 'Godfather'. Every struggling actor goes through it but if you're talented, you should never give up. The 'Humans Of Bombay' always shows us real stories of people and they also feature actors and they love to get real and show the people a side of them no one has seen before. Yesterday, the famous page shared a post about Rajkummar Rao, where he got very real about his struggling days. From idolizing Shah Rukh Khan to surviving just on Rs 10,000 a month, Rajkummar Rao has literally gotten here just because of his persistence and hard work. He started off by talking about his fascination with Shah Rukh 'sir' since he was the ultimate outsider who made it to the top. But, it's not that easy to 'make it', just showing up in Mumbai isn't enough. He started off by doing some forgettable ads and was struggling in every sense of the word. He said, “I made about Rs 10,000 a month––but still, there were days when I didn't have money, and I'd call my friends asking to share their meal.” But, giving up was never an option for him, even if it meant hunting for auditions and only getting to try out for the smaller roles. He said, “I didn't let any of it demotivate me – I believed that someone would see my talent.” The most important call of his life came when he got the news that he got the movie 'Love, *** Aur Dhoka'. He went on, “The words were, 'Ho gaya hai. You got the film.' I fell to my knees, called my mother. The movie released, and I got a lot of love... that's when the doors opened. But I'll tell you a stand-out moment for me – I think it was after the release of Queen.” Another notable moment came for him when he finally met Shah Rukh Khan. He recalled that he was shooting in the same place as the King Khan and tried his luck to meet him. He said, “I sent a message across to him––I didn't think he'd know me, but, he called me to his trailer – he knew my entire bio! He made me feel so special. I was already a fan, but that day I was probably his biggest fan. I was nervous and in awe throughout. I once spoke to his posters...and now there he was, in front of me. How can I even explain what that felt like?” Twitter Everything that goes around does come around because people who refused to cast him in a lead role before offer him movies now. His last words are for every person who is struggling – “I've believed in my craft, even when things weren't going well. I just knew – I put it out in the Universe and attracted it all. Remember, no matter what anyone else says, no one is going to believe in you, the way YOU do – so hustle, and let the Universe do the rest.”
  17. When they said your body is your temple, they actually referred to a temple with good maintenance, not an ancient structure that will fall apart and is only dependent on your prayers. You need to take care of your body and do your best to make it reach its best version, because honestly, that is the only thing you really own, and the only thing money can't buy you. A well-built body, and the efforts you have put in to achieve that, legit count as your best investment. In MXP Body Love, we will ask people with amazing bodies the key questions, and seek their guidance on the same. Our Body Love expert here, is actor Tushar Khanna, who answers 7 questions on how to look good without clothes. © Instagram © Tushar Khanna 1. One Food You Should Never, Ever Eat? For me, it has got to be sugar. Sugar is one of the most dangerous food items because it's the hardest to get rid of from your diet, and causes the most damage. I have read that getting rid of a sugar addiction is as hard as quitting drugs, because they impact the same part of your brain. I try avoiding it as much as I can, but I give in a little bit on my cheat days. A man's gotta survive! © Instagram © Instagram 2. The One Body Part You Should Never Ignore When It Comes To Workout? Legs. When it comes to Indian gyms, I have noticed most people are just obsessed with their upper bodies, mainly chest and arms, and end up ignoring their lower body. The result? A weak core, and a weird, misshapen body. Chicken legs are not sexy, homies! Also, your upper body strength increases when your legs are equally strong. © Instagram 3. Natural Fuzz vs. Waxed/Trimmed Body Hair? I am more of a natural or neatly trimmed person. I anyway don't have an excessive growth, plus waxing is just not my thing. I don't think I can ever get waxing done, because it hurts even while thinking about it, haha! © Tushar Khanna © Instagram 4. Grooming Essentials - What Are The Products You Can't Do Without? Face wash, sun block and a moisturiser. I also think it's extremely important to scrub once a week, to get rid of dead skin. I only use products by Kiehl's, as they suit my skin type. © Instagram 5. Shave Down There Or Trim It? Trim, always. © Tushar Khanna 6. Best Lighting For Clicking Nudes (Or Just For The Boudoir)? If you're in good shape, the lighting doesn't matter! *winks* © Instagram 7. Any Last-Minute Tip? If you ask me, I'd just say that confidence is the key to looking good, with or without clothes. Just be proud of who you are, and be confident, and you'll automatically look good.
  18. Thanks to internet and social media, fans got a chance to inch closer to their favourite celebrities and get a sneak-peek into their daily lives, both on personal and professional front. While, most of us are busy stalking them on social media, liking every picture they post and leaving comments like 'hot', 'very nice dear' or 'looking awesome dear'; ever wondered how these actors looked like in their childhood? On days when I am not busy with anything earth-shatteringly important or when I have too much time on my hands, I like looking at the childhood pictures, then and now or transformation photos of celebrities. And I am sure I am not alone who does this. © Twitter So, I will take this opportunity to share a throwback picture that has some of our favourite actors in one frame. It's not a Thursday, but I am sure you are tempted to see how star kids looked like in their childhood. Let's see if you can guess who's who in this picture, except Reena Roy whom we know already. One of them was voted as world's most handsome actor earlier this year. #ThrowbackTuesday: A childhood throwback photo of @iHrithik, @TusshKapoor , Sunaina Roshan, Rinky Khanna, Ahlam, @ektaravikapoor, Shadab Khan and @mrsfunnybones is going viral on the internet ððâ¤ð pic.twitter.com/ysCX1BMxd6 — YuppTV India (@yupptvindia) July 24, 2018 I'll give you a hint - this picture has Hrithik Roshan and his sister Sunaina Roshan; Twinkle Khanna and her sister Rinkie Khanna; Ekta Kapoor and brother Tusshar Kapoor; and Shadaab Khan and his sister Ahlam Khan (Gabbar aka Amjad Khan's kids). Being the sarcasm queen that Twinkle Khanna is, she shared the picture with the caption "The girl with the broken arm is me - every year I would invariably be in a cast - many fractured bones - took that unpleasant factor and flipped it into a moniker that now makes me smile - Mrs Funnybones." I am sure we all have that one picture with our cousins where everyone unintentionally played the game "Who can make the funniest face in front of the camera!"
