  1. 'Not a perfect soldier, but a good man.' This is exactly the reason why Steve Rogers, a skinny guy with asthma, was chosen to become a super soldier. The serum was supposed to enhance his capabilities and yes, he wasn't the tallest or the strongest, but he was just an incredible person worthy of getting that serum and enhancing all his good qualities. It took him almost a decade and a bunch of movies to finally wield Mjolnir, but he had always been worthy and everyone knew that, even Thor himself. That expression says it all, he knew it then and there that this is the only person, other than himself, who possibly has the ability to hold the hammer and harness the power of Thor. Over the years, Steve Rogers has proved time and again that he will always do what's best for the greater good, making him the only other person worthy of wielding Mjolnir: 1. Taking On Bullies Yes, he 'can do this all day', and pre-serum, he did actually do it all day. A tiny, skinny dude who is so desperate to fight for his country, knows that bullies are the problem, and he himself made sure to do something about. He's always fought for what he thought was right, never backed down, much to Bucky's dismay, probably, since he always had to rescue his tiny friend. But, his willingness to take on anyone, even if he was skinny or ripped, makes it one of his best qualities, tbh. 2. Jumping On The Grenade Steve and Tony are just two self-sacrificing people and Steve has been actually proving that since the 1940s. Remember that scene which finally made everyone see he should get the serum? He finally joined the army, something he had wanted more than anything, but he was still willing to sacrifice himself even before he left to fight the real war if it meant saving everyone else. 3. Saving Bucky And Everyone Else Back in 'Captain America: The First Avenger', he was not allowed to actually fight the real fight but just act as a 'circus monkey'. Obviously, he didn't follow the orders, especially when it meant that hundreds of soldiers, including Bucky, were just gone. He straight up went to the enemy territory to save everyone, without even knowing if they were alive. He went alone, not knowing what was waiting for him and still managed to get everyone out. 4. Basically Saving Everyone Again, in the first Captain America movie, towards the end, he had no option but to land the jet in water - and killing himself while doing it - in order to save millions of people. He did not even hesitate to make that decision, obviously, even though he knew he would die and never have that dance with Peggy Carter. 5. Never Giving Up On Bucky Bucky has always been Steve's biggest weakness, and he for sure knows it. He even used that to his advantage in 'Avengers: Endgame' as well in the Cap vs Cap scene. Yes, Bucky was a brainwashed assassin and did truly terrible things, including killing Tony's parents, but Steve never ever gave up on his best friend, just like Bucky never did while saving pre-serum Steve from bullies. At the end of 'Winter Soldier', he just knew that he would be able to get his friend to remember him and was willing to die for it because he was that sure. Then again in 'Civil War', he went against everyone, even Tony, to defend Bucky and prove his innocence. They're honestly bff goals. 6. “We Don't Trade Lives” Yes, his righteous attitude did get annoying in 'Infinity War' but we don't expect anything else from him. Everyone watching the movie was getting frustrated about them willing to kill everyone to save Vision. If Wanda has destroyed the Mind Stone in the beginning, they would've saved the world. Since it wasn't himself that Steve had to sacrifice, there was no way in hell that he was going to let anyone else die. 7. Mjolnir Comes To Him And finally, I'm assuming that Mjolnir itself came to Steve in the final battle in 'Endgame' when Thanos is almost about to kill Thor. I mean, why would Steve randomly be extending his arm to call the hammer instead of, I don't know, jumping on Thanos' back and trying to get him off of Thor? Also, this is the best moment of the entire movie, and I'm willing to fight anyone who disagrees. I can't even explain how excited Steve holding the Mjolnir made me feel. I would also like to acknowledge Thor's reaction; it was so pure, no jealousy, no nothing, just excitement because he always knew Cap was worthy. In conclusion, Steve Rogers is the best person ever, even if he radiates dumb bitch energy sometimes.

  3. This article contains heavy spoilers. Proceed with caution! The second last episode of 'Game of Thrones' just aired this morning in India and we're not that thrown off as we thought we'd be. Mostly because there were a lot of predictions made for this episode, and most of them came true. Most off, Dany did take the form of the mad queen and burn King's Landing to the ground, while the unsullied and the Dothraki continued to slew human life: men, women and children alike. © HBO Of course the much awaited fight, the Cleganebowl took place like it had to, sans Arya as Arya was stumbling about, trying to make sense of her presence in King's Landing, after a very strong build-up over her eventual goal, which is to kill the queen (Cersei). Well, she didn't. The queen died an unfortunate death, when she caved, while the roof fell on her and her lover Jaime. So, yes, the makers hurried through the plot faster than Bronne hurried out of the entire series, and we're not wondering 'what next' anymore. © HBO In fact, we'll let everyone else decide how they took in the episode and what they actually expect from the last episode. Yup, Twitter is buzzing with GoT episode 5 updates and here are some reactions that are funny and quite relatable. I truly appreciate Varys' commitment to being messy and petty. Anyhow, let's wait for the grand finale, you never know how things turn around.
  4. Ahead of its highly-anticipated finale, popular TV show 'Game of Thrones' had fans at the edge of their seats, clearing their schedule to catch the pilot episode. However, amid all the excitement and, contrary to popular perception, Season 8 has undeniably failed to live up to what its past instalments had managed to accomplish. The unpredictability of the show, that had once captured the imagination of the viewers is long gone, making way for predictable and obvious content. But, that's not all. There have been editing errors and the script writing has proved to be so poor, that it makes us wonder what 'GoT' would've been like if it wasn't for George RR Martin's books. Game of Thrones and Avengers: Endgame have both been on our screens in the last month. They still have nothing on the Champions League. ð pic.twitter.com/IBvNFZnDHF — Footy Humour (@FootyHumour) May 8, 2019 While one of the biggest TV shows continues to fall short on the expectations of fans, a spectacular show by the football clubs in the UEFA Champions League has proved to be a much-needed saviour. The Champions League season gave us the spirited Ajax side that gunned down European heavyweights including the likes of Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Juventus. Then, we saw Tottenham Hotspur eliminating Premier League champions Manchester City in the quarterfinals. But, just when we thought we'd seen it all. The Champions League football surprised us again with memorable semifinal ties. How's champions league got more plot twists than Game of Thrones and Endgame combined. — MUUSE (@MuuseAbas) May 8, 2019 The first leg of the semifinals restored some sanity with Barcelona securing a 3-0 win over Liverpool and Ajax coming out on top again to register a 1-0 triumph over Spurs. But, if you didn't see the second-leg ties, we reckon you should pick up a chair and hit yourself in the face with it (pun intended). ððð Inside the dressing room at full-time with our Reds... pic.twitter.com/n8BePcDHfY — Liverpool FC (@LFC) May 7, 2019 ð @Alissonbecker ð pic.twitter.com/vRogUSl13r — Liverpool FC (@LFC) May 8, 2019 In a series of epic comebacks and crazy emotional goals, Liverpool stunned Lionel Messi-led Barcelona after thumping four goals at home (without Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah at their disposal). The sheer emotions of the footballers and managers from both the winning and losing sides highlighted what football means to us. It's interesting that Champions League is turning out to be more interesting than Game of Thrones. That shit took 2 years to write. — Mayank Agarwal (@mayankquitenow) May 9, 2019 To put things in perspective, for the first time since 2013, the Champions League final will be without Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi. Also, this season's final will be played between two teams who haven't won the title for over 29 years. So, thank you Champions League for the unbelievable season and mind-numbing semifinals, for what it's worth, our life wouldn't have been the same without it.
  5. Google's Pixel 3a and 3a XL have long been rumoured to launch and it seems like the search engine giant is all set to be unveiled at Google I/O on May 7th. Flipkart, on the other hand, posted artwork that basically said, “Something big is coming to the Pixel universe” on May 8th. It can now be confirmed that Google's new mid-budget Pixel device will launch in India on May 8th. © Flipkart Last month, Google accidentally revealed the launch date of its new device which said “On May 7, meet a new hero”, the same date Google's 2019 I/O event is set to take place. Previous leaks have shown us the rumoured smartphone with an additional purple variant alongside the classic black and white variant. An image of the said smartphone was leaked online by Twitter tipster Evan Blass. © Twitter/EvLeaks The Pixel 3a/3a XL is expected to offer similar camera performance as the more expensive flagship counterpart. The primary shooter is rumoured to be a 12.2-MP sensor, while the front-facing camera has an 8-MP sensor. In fact, this may just be Google's most successful device in India, thanks to its lower price. The camera is said to have some of the AI features similar to the Pixel 3. © Twitter The smartphone is rumoured to be powered by Qualcomm's 670 processor. In terms of RAM, the processor will be paired with 4G of RAM and have 32GB/64GB storage options. In terms of display, the Pixel 3a/ 3a XL is expected to have a 5.6-inches 1080p (FHD+) panel, however, it is not known whether it is an LCD or an AMOLED panel. In terms of battery, the Pixel 3a /3a XL is rumoured to have a 3,000 mAh battery capacity. The Pixel 3a is expected to start at Rs. 33,590, however, we can only be sure once the smartphone is officially revealed in a few days.
  6. The third episode of the final season of 'Game Of Thrones' was full of surprises. The abrupt death of the Night King and his army of the undead, who have been hyped for so long, is still hard to process. © HBO While the Night King and the White Walkers have been the greatest threat inside the 'Game Of Thrones' world, the conflict central to the storyline is, however, the politics over the Iron Throne, and as it turns out, the Night King doesn't prove to be the prime enemy in this narrative. © HBO However, look at it this way. Cersei Lannister is sitting on the Iron Throne right now. She's had to manipulate, betray and even sacrifice her way to the top. But is she a fitting Queen for the Westerosi? She's already put the throne in debt by getting the Golden Company's army. In all these seasons, she's given little to no importance to the people around her, including her own brother Jaime. And if you look at the death count, you'll realize that the lives of all the major characters are still intact. Theon and Ser Jorah, Beric and Edd were the main characters that died. The people that survived included Brienne, Podrick, Tormund, and Grey Worm, who all seemed truly doomed at various moments. All named characters hiding in the crypts appeared to survive, as did both dragons and Jon's direwolf, Ghost. It was much less death than expected, in terms of the major characters. The only war that matters now, lies South, where Cersei is definitely in no mood to give her throne up. The Mad Queen is a more appropriate villain, a kind whose ulterior motives can at least be attempted to understand by the audience. Her surprising twists in the past have never failed to surprise us. She clearly has something up her sleeve that could shock us along with her enemies.
  7. Mahendra Singh Dhoni is one of a kind cricketer of this generation. With the kind of strength, quickness and creativity he possesses, the Ranchi-born athlete has won the hearts of millions of fans throughout the world, yes, even his opponents. Let's take the example of this young cricketer, Riyan Parag, a Rajasthan Royals member who played a brilliant innings against Kolkata Knight Riders in a win to ruin Dinesh Karthik's explosive and unbeaten 97-run performance a couple of days ago. In what he considers to be the game of life, Parag had the honour of sharing the field with 'Captain Cool' himself when his RR locked horns against Dhoni's Chennai Super Kings on 11th April 2019. What's more is that after the 17-year-old was able to collate no more than 16 runs, he was dismissed with a caught behind with Mahi as the keeper. Cute!#RRvCSK ##IPL2019 pic.twitter.com/IrXAtEZsrs — Mohandas Menon (@mohanstatsman) April 13, 2019 Now, two weeks since the matchup, Indian commentary legend, Harsha Bhogle uploaded a tweet something extremely interesting about Dhoni and the Parag family: Someone on twitter (sorry there were lots of msgs and I can't trace the name) pointed out this interesting bit of trivia. #RR played #CSK on April 11 in Jaipur and Riyan Parag was caught by MS Dhoni for 16. — Harsha Bhogle (@bhogleharsha) April 26, 2019 Many years ago, in the 99-00 season of the Ranji Trophy (see the 2nd innings of Assam in this scorecard) https://t.co/R2CzlZvnwG An Assam opener, called Parag Das was stumped by a young keeper called MS Dhoni. Parag Das is Riyan Parag's father! The name of the opener, Parag Das, the father of Riyan. Essentially, with multiple generations of a cricketing family have come and gone, the only thing constant is the brilliance of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. 8. The unthinkable yet somehow predictable thing has happened. Yes, my friends, 'Avengers: Endgame', the movie that we have been waiting for since forever, has unfortunately been leaked on Tamilrockers before its release. Although, I am pretty sure Marvel fans like me are not going to go anywhere near that site. Also, given that over a million people have already booked their tickets, this leak should not really be a problem for Marvel. What concerns me now is the heightened opportunities for possible spoilers, given that we are surrounded by miserable people, so just steer clear of social media till Friday. 'Avengers: Endgame' releases this Friday.
  9. The Madras High Court today lifted the ban on TikTok, a video-streaming app which was blocked by Google and Apple on their app stores more than a week ago. Yes, it means the app will now soon be available for download again in the country. Following yesterday's Supreme Court order directing the High Court to decide on the question of the interim relief of the app, the matter was taken up today and the Bench of justice N Kirubakaran and SS Sundar lifted the ban after hearing TikTok's submissions. © Tik Tok Senior Advocate Isaac Mohanlal appeared in court for TikTok and noted that there is a technology in place to ensure that no nude/ obscene content is uploaded through the app. Additionally, TikTok also made submissions on the steps taken to counter the issues raised by the court following the ban. It is, however, worth pointing out that the app is not yet available for download. But it's only a matter of time until we start seeing the app on both the Google Play Store and App Store. So, brace yourself, the crying TikTok boys are going to be back again.
  10. OnePlus has officially confirmed the launch date of its next smartphone and in all likelihood, it will be called the OnePlus 7. There's a good chance that the company will launch multiple devices; one rumoured being the OnePlus 7 Pro. The new smartphones will be unveiled on 14th May in three different countries at the same time — including India. © Weibo The events are going to be held in three cities i.e. New York, London and Bangalore and will start at 8:15 PM IST. OnePlus 7 or OnePlus 7 Pro has leaked in the past and here's what we know so far. © Twitter Just a few days ago Pete Lau, CEO of OnePlus said that the next smartphone will have a huge focus on the the display of the device. This probably means that the OnePlus 7 or the OnePlus 7 Pro will have a high quality screen on their devices. According to rumours, the OnePlus 7 Pro is going to have a QHD+ 90 Hz AMOLED display and will be as expensive as flagship devices. Pete Lau spoke to our sister website, the Economic Times and said: “To provide consumers more choice and meet the needs of a broader audience, we've changed our launch strategy, but our commitment to premium products and experiences remains the same.” In terms of other specifications, the OnePlus 7 will have a significant upgrade over the OnePlus 6 as it will ship with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 and will be paired with 8 to 10 GB of RAM. © Twitter The OnePlus 7 Pro is expected to have 12GB of RAM which may be a bit of an overkill. There's also a good chance that the Pro variant will have a pop-up selfie camera and a full-view display as the company decides to ditch the notch design from the OnePlus 6T.
  11. Realme is continuing its efforts to establish a name for itself in the budget smartphone segment in India with the launch of the new Realme 3 Pro. It comes hot on the heels of the launch of Realme 3, which is also a great budget offering from the brand. The phone has been priced at Rs. 13,999 for the base variant, going head-to-head with the Redmi Note 7 Pro. The Realme 3 Pro distinguishes itself from the other phones in this segment with the Snapdragon 710 chipset, which is known to have a few advantages of its own over chips like Snapdragon 675. Specifications As for the specs, the Realme 3 Pro sports a 6.3-inch FHD+ display on the front that's protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The display, as you can see, has a dewdrop design, giving it a screen-to-body ratio of 90.8%. Also, as mentioned earlier, the Realme 3 Pro is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 710 chip, and it comes in a few variants. © MensXP/ Karthik Iyer The Realme 3 Pro comes in two variants, 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. You can also expand the storage up to 256GB. As for the optics, the Realme 3 Pro sports a dual-camera setup at the back which houses a 16MP and a 5MP sensor. On the front, you get a 25MP selfie shooter. Realme is offering a bunch of shooting modes with the camera. You get modes like Nightscape, Portrait, Expert, Super slow-mo, and more. There's also a fingerprint scanner at the back, but you'll have to make do with a micro USB port. The innards of the phone will be kept powered by a 4,050 mAh battery, and you also get ColorOS 6.0 that's based on Android 9 Pie out of the box. 12. TikTok, a popular video sharing app that boasts over half a billion users worldwide, has officially been banned in India. The app is no longer available to download from both the Google Play Store and Apple's App Store as of today. The ban follows a request from the state court a few weeks back, asking the government to ban the app. Both Google and Apple were sent a directive earlier this week by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology(MeITY), asking them to remove TikTok from their respective stores in India. © MensXP Why, you ask? Well, high court had accused TikTok of allegedly 'encouraging pornography'. People were apparently using it for pornographic purposes. That said, this move definitely comes has a surprise since the app has been downloaded by over 230 million users in the country. Needless to say, the ban will most definitely affect TikTok's growth. © Reuters In an official statement, TikTok said it has faith in the Indian Judicial system. “At TikTok, we have faith in the Indian Judicial system and the stipulations afforded to social media platforms by the Information Technology (Intermediaries Guidelines) Rules, 2011. We are committed to continuously enhancing our existing measures and introducing additional technical and moderation processes as part of our ongoing commitment to our users in India.” In an official statement, TikTok said it has faith in the Indian Judicial system. “At TikTok, we have faith in the Indian Judicial system and the stipulations afforded to social media platforms by the Information Technology (Intermediaries Guidelines) Rules, 2011. 13. If you've already been using a MacBook and have enabled the dark mode feature on macOS, then you already know what's in store. iOS 13 is expected to release later this year and will finally add dark mode to iOS devices, system-wide. This news comes via a report from 9to5Mac that details the future update from Apple. © Twitter The report suggests that users will be able to enable and control the dark mode feature from the main settings page. It is said to work similar to the dark mode feature in macOS and will enable a dark theme for the iPhone or iPad. Having said that, the dark mode may not be available on specific apps and individual app developers will have to enable support for dark mode. © YouTube Other updates may include new multitasking features for the iPad and an overhaul on the Mail app. The mail app is sed to get a new “undo” feature similar to what you may have seen on Gmail and other email services. The new multitasking features on the Ipad will enable users to use multiple apps at the same time. However, instead of implementing a split-screen window, the update would allow each app to run in multiple, smaller windows. 9to5Mac says in the report: "Each window will also be able to contain sheets that are initially attached to a portion of the screen, but can be detached with a drag gesture, becoming a card that can be moved around freely,” © Twitter Another small change may come to the volume adjusting window on iOS devices. As of now, when a user turns up or down the volume, an on-screen graphic takes over your screen obstructing your view of the content behind the graphic. In fact, the volume control animation has also been subjected to memes which basically occupies a major portion of the iPhone's screen when adjusting the volume. There's no way to confirm these rumours until Apple makes them official at WWDC later this year. Until then, we can only hope these rumours come to fruition as we've wanted a dark mode feature on iOS devices for years. Source: 9to5Mac
  14. We've seen quite a few impressive smartphones launched in the past; however, one of the most anticipated smartphones is around the corner. The leaks so far suggest a radical new design for the OnePlus 7 and if the leaks are correct, we will probably see at least two different models from the Chinese company. Just like every forthcoming OnePlus launch, the smartphone gets leaked and we get to know almost every specification possible. The OnePlus 7 is rumoured to have Qualcomm's Snapdragon 855 chipset with 6GB, 8GB and 10GB RAM configurations. The device is also expected to have an FHD+ resolution display which will please many video content consumers. © Twitter, Slashleaks Other details that have leaked before suggest that the OnePlus 7 will have a few extra design changes this year. The rumours suggest that the OnePlus 7 will have a popup selfie camera similar to what we have seen in Vivo devices. The move comes to provide a seamless bezel-less experience on the smartphone. © Weibo Last week, new leak surfaced that suggests that there will be another OnePlus 7 device that will come with the X50 model for 5G connectivity. The device is said to be called the OnePlus 7 Pro and you can read all about it here. The OnePlus 7 Pro is also expected to have 8GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage if this leak turns out to be true. Previous reports have suggested that the smartphone will have a triple camera set up at the back and a sliding or pop-up selfie camera. The latest leak about the OnePlus 7 is to do with its launch date. According to tipster Ishan Aggarwal, the OnePlus 7 launch date is going to be May 14th, in China. We can expect the device to launch in India soon after. Having said that, the source does have a great track record when it comes to leaks but we suggest you take this information with a pinch of salt for now.
  15. OnePlus 7 is right around the corner and new details keep popping up on the internet before its eventual launch sometime next month. In order to compete, OnePlus has already added some unique features according to previous leaks but an unexpected feature just got discovered. A new leak of a prototype shows that the OnePlus 7 will use the Pro moniker and will also be borrowing features we've seen on previous Samsung smartphones. © Weibo The leak also confirmed a few features on the upcoming OnePlus 7 Pro as it will be using a curved edge screen, seen before on Samsung flagship smartphones. The smartphone is said to have a notch-less display which could only mean that it will have a pop-up selfie camera. The OnePlus 7 Pro is said to have a 6.67-inch Super Optic Display; a made-up marketing term for the curved edge display. The smartphone is said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor and will also have an X50 modem for 5G connectivity. © Twitter The OnePlus 7 Pro is also expected to have 8GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage if this leak turns out to be true. Previous reports have suggested that the smartphone will have a triple camera setup at the back and a sliding or pop-up selfie camera. It is also possible that the selfie camera may be embedded into the bezels. © Twitter A regular OnePlus 7 without the X50 model will also be offered with different configurations for customers who just want a traditional OnePlus device. We could expect the 5G version of the smartphone to be priced considerably more than the regular OnePlus 7 smartphones. We will know more about the OP7 closer to the launch. Source: TechRadar
  16. Way back in early 1953, when racism was what was 'trending' and brown and black kids had to go that extra mile to earn an average living which the whites enjoyed as a 'birthright', the younger of two sons to a Sikh carpenter who went by the name of Amar Singh Virdee, was born in the Kenyan capital of Nairobi. The boy was named Rajinder Singh Virdee. After fleeing to the United Kingdom following the Mau Mau uprising in Kenya in 1960, Rajinder developed a great level of affection for the game of football in the Queen's land. It was his name, however, that made him feel out of place in the first instance. Hence the seven-year-old boy decided to go ahead with Roger Jones before changing it to Roger Jones Verdi and finally being satisfied with Roger Verdi. "Times were hard for me to fulfil my dreams, and I had to make some adjustments from my culture to fit in the English environment to try and achieve my goals," Verdi told BBC. Growing up, he became thick-skinned, unshaken by the racial slurs thrown at him by the kids of his age, playing around the block. "I had people call me names when I played, especially London boys. But I just laughed and shook their hand after the game. A Sikh is never sensitive to adversity. To beat racism one has to ignore it and I did because I accepted it, but I was bigger than it." Having played for the Wolves at the age of 14 every Friday, Verdi used to earn £5 but that came as a bonus to him for his main income came in the form of the ability to play the game he loved so dearly. However, not being able to receive better training in England, Verdi moved to Canada to follow his dream to play football on a professional level and the advice of his friend who offered him a spot with the Vancouver Spartans. "I needed to get out of England and, even though I didn't know much about Canada, with one bag and my boots, I was at Heathrow airport that evening to fly out there," he said. According to Verdi, the highlight of his career came in 1977 when St. Louis Stars played against an all-star New York Cosmos during which he was asked to defend the best player of football back then, Pele. Even at 34, football came naturally to the legend but Verdi stuck to the man like white on rice which made Pele a bit agitated and led him to ask out loud: 'Are we married?'. Chuckling, Verdi replied, “Yes, but we're getting divorced at full-time!” © Roger Verdi The Sikh athlete was so good that former Bayern Munich coach Dettmar Cramer told him that he would have been a Bundesliga-level player had he been playing in Germany. He was also recommended to play for Tottenham Hotspur by his former teammate, Graeme Souness, back in the day. However, our hero did not get the opportunity to make it big in England. "I made it as far as I did with no guidance because I had the hunger, the drive and work ethic. Yes, it was not what I wanted, but I made a good life out of it and it's been a great journey." h/t: BBC
  17. PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) has been in hot waters for a while now in India. From being banned to people getting arrested for playing it while the ban was in force, there has been a lot of chit-chat about the game. But now after a lot of criticism on social media, the ban imposed by the state of Gujarat on PUBG Mobile has finally been lifted. The decision came straight from the police commissioner A K Singh, after taking feedback from the public. © PUBG Corp. “Today is the last day of the proclamation we had issued. Yesterday, this matter came up for review and we decided that as the exam session is over and the direct trigger to initiating the action is not valid any more, we will not renew the proclamation. We have also taken public reaction into account, said the commissioner.' The game, in case you don't know, was banned for being violent and for inciting violence. It was also leading to accidental deaths, kids stealing money to buy in-game items, and more. Of course, banning the game wasn't an ideal solution, but that's apparently what the majority of people wanted. © PUBG Corp. Well, now that the ban has been lifted, let's not get carried away and spend all of our time playing it. It's high time that we, the players of the game, give it some thought and take some responsibility of our actions. Unless you are looking to dive in professionally, gaming is just a form of entertainment. Too much of it is not good for both your physical as well as mental health. As it turns out, you may even end up getting a game banned or end up in a jail for playing too much. So, let's focus on creating a healthy gaming environment, and enjoy ourselves while we are at it.
  18. A new 'Avengers: Endgame' video is here and this is literally my mind right now. So, apparently, Marvel and the Russo Brothers were not done yet with toying with our emotions and decided to give all Marvel fans a special look full of reunions and emotions. Tony makes it back from space and is reunited with Pepper. The biggest question was about Tony Stark actually making it back alive and a lot of people were still not convinced, even after the last trailer, so this video is here to tell us that yes, he's safe, for now at least. The special video also gave us something we've wanted since 'Captain America: Civil War' - the much awaited Tony Stark and Captain America reunion! And, it's a great one at that. There's also a cute yet heartbreaking moment between Nebula and Rocket Raccoon. They've lost everyone they knew, it doesn't get sadder than that. We can also see Tony looking at a picture of himself and Peter Parker and the memory of his painful dusting is coming back. **** you, Thanos. Wait, is that Doctor Strange? Did they just give us concrete proof of everyone dusted coming back? Okay, there's still so much more happening, with all the characters gearing up for round two with Thanos, but here's the video.
  19. For more than 3 decades, pieces of a novelty Garfield phone have been steadily washing up on the beaches of northwestern France. Believe it or not, this has been happening for a long time, and locals have apparently picked up hundreds of pieces of the grumpy cartoon cat. However, nobody knew where they came from, until last week. According to BBC, the volunteers cleaning the beaches solved the puzzle, and found that the source of the Garfield phones was a long-lost shipping container. The cleaners ended up finding the container filled with Garfield phones in a secluded sea cave that's accessible only during a low tide. An anti-litter group called Ar Vilantsou declared the phones as a symbol of plastic pollution on the beach. They also launched a campaign with these Garfield phones as the face. The campaign caught the attention of a local farmer and he ended up escorting some journalists and the Ar Vilantsou activists to the spot, where they found out about the container. Sadly, the destroyed container remains buried underneath the rocks. It's hard to access and recover the phones, so these phones with the smug-cat's face will continue to wash up on shore. If you haven't the Garfield phone yet, then here's a quick look - Vous vous souvenez des téléphones #Garfield ? 20. John Abraham's tryst with patriotic films will see a new addition to the list of other hits, which he has given ardent movie lovers in the genre. After a successful run of his other patriotic films 'Satyamev Jayate' and 'Parmanu', which were not only commercially successful but also earned a lot of critical acclaims, John Abraham is all set to star in the espionage thriller titled 'RAW - Romeo, Akbar, Walter'. View this post on Instagram A brave-heart, a patriot, a hero! His only existence was to exist for his motherland. #RAWTrailer releasing tomorrow. @apnabhidu @imouniroy @sikandarkher @RomeoAkbarWalter @viacom18motionpictures @kytaproductions @vafilmcompany @redice_films @timesmusichub #AjitAndhare @ajay_kapoor_ #DheerajWadhwan @vanessabwalia A post shared by John Abraham (@thejohnabraham) on Mar 2, 2019 at 8:40pm PST Set against the backdrop of the Indo-Pak war of 1971, 'RAW' traces the journey of a young bank employee who is trained as an Indian spy and sent to Pakistan to gather intel. As John wrote on his social media platform while sharing the trailer for 'Romeo, Akbar, Walter', his character's “dharma was to protect his nation against all evils and enemies” and the trailer sure succeeds in inspiring our patriotism, much like it does in John's character. The opening narration of the film begins with Jackie Shroff's voice declaring that “we are on the verge of a war with Pakistan” and honestly, it hits too close to home given the current circumstances between the two nations at the moment. Besides all this, the trailer also inspires thematic similarities with films like 'Raazi' and 'Argo' too, in certain ways. © Viacom 18 However, what stands out in the trailer is John's finesse and passion, which is evident in the portrayal of the character inspired by true events. We are sure that after the viewing of this trailer the film shall not only leave an impression but also shed a lot of light on how things unravelled back in 1971. © Viacom 18 We had earlier reported that John will we be seen sporting eight different looks in the film, and talking about the same, he said, “I do have eight different looks in the film. The effort that goes into giving me those looks is immense. It's time-consuming but completely worth the effort. There's a cast that they create to create to give me the desired get-up. I play everything from an 85-year-old man to a 26-year-old and this is probably the most challenging role of my life." © Viacom 18 The trailer itself looks intense and riveting, making us wonder what will come next for John's character in the film. Also starring Jackie Shroff as the Chief of the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), Sikander Kher as John's nemesis, Mouni Roy as the female lead, there are a lot of intriguing aspects which are yet to be discovered about 'RAW - Romeo, Akbar, Walter'. The film is set to hit the theatres on 5th April 2019.
  21. Realme is a very young brand and intends to take over the budget phone segment in India. They've launched a new phone every quarter in an effort to cover up every possible price bracket. The brand has been targeting its phones towards the youth and hence, focuses on performance and design the most. With the Realme 3, the brand wants to lure buyers with its powerful MediaTek Helio P70 chipset. The new processor has performed extremely well in our previous review of the Realme U1, and now it's available at an even better price. (c) MensXP/Shivam Vahia On the front, it has a 6.2-inch HD+ display (1520 x 720 resolution) and comes with Gorilla Glass protection. Realme claims it has achieved 88.30 per cent screen-to-body ratio thanks to a small water-drop style notch. Like we've said, the new P70 processor has four cores clocked at 2.1Ghz and boasts 15 per cent lesser power consumption when compared to previous generation offering. It also has a multi-threaded APU for AI processing. It comes in to two variants, 3GB RAM + 32GB storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage. The internal memory is expandable via a microSD card. (c) MensXP/Shivam Vahia The rear houses a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. For authentication, a fingerprint scanner is located on the back and it also supports face unlock. For low-light pictures, Realme has included a Nightscape mode that improves the quality of pictures using AI. A Chroma Boost mode also helps in producing better colour by adjusting exposure and dynamic range. For selfies, a 13-megapixel camera has been provided on the front. Backing these innards is a 4230mAh battery. The phone ships with ColorOS 6.0, built on top of Android 9.0 Pie. It'll be interesting to see how the brand is able to continue its steady rise in the country considering the competitive environment.
  22. The Apple Watch has been dominating the wearables market ever since it was announced and is now considered the best smartwatch there is. The Apple Watch has added many useful features over the years, however, it lacked one feature that has been absent for a while. © Pillow The Cupertino giant is rumoured to be testing sleep tracking securely and according to insiders who spoke to Bloomberg and detailed Apple's plans. The Apple Watch is expected to launch the sleep tracking feature in 2020 and will essentially also kill third-party apps that are currently offering the same feature on the Apple Watch. Currently, apps like Pillow and Sleep++ offer a similar feature where it tracks a user's sleeping patterns and habits. Smartwatches that tend to have a sleep tracking feature usually last for days due to a larger battery. This will be a major hurdle for Apple to overcome, as the Apple Watch can last only for a day on a full charge. Apple may have to outfit the 2020 Apple Watch with a bigger battery or add a low power setting for speed mode. © Beddit Apple recently bought Beddit, a company that makes sleep tracking devices as well as apps for iOS and the Apple Watch. The company also launched a sensor strip that can be placed underneath a bed seat to track sleeping patterns and snoring habits. Sleep-tracking has been one of the most requested features by Apple Watch users, however, Apple will have to either increase the battery capacity or come up with a different solution in order to run this feature. We can only be sure when the new Apple Watch will be announced this year and its capabilities and see if it hints at the upcoming feature with a larger battery or a new power saving mode.
  23. Ever since its global launch at the World Cup, VAR still divides opinions. Most of it is because of the time it takes to arrive at a decision and a fear of machinery failure. Wednesday's Champions League tie between Schalke and Manchester City had both. It took VAR three minutes and a technical failure before coming to a decision. According to some, VAR marks the 'Americanization' of the sport. Whereas some claim that it slows the game down thus killing the atmosphere. This 'killing the atmosphere' thing can be considered when thinking about lower leagues or some grounds where huge TV screens are not available. Old Trafford to name one. Also, football is all about uncertainty. Every single element of football is hard, stressful and miserable. The only release you have is the pure unadulterated joy of seeing your team score which VAR takes away. © Digital Trends But looking at the other side, what VAR gives is a fair result which is 'probably' the most important thing. The question at this point of time is not 'if VAR should be used or not?' It is 'how VAR should be used?' Since four of Europe's top five leagues are already using it with English Premier League in contention to introduce it from next season, it's quite certain that VAR is here to stay. This seems to be a tricky question whose answer we'll get only in future. What we can't stop thinking about is what major footballing errors could've been avoided had VAR been introduced earlier. Here are five of dubious mistakes where VAR could've come in handy: Three Cards Too Much © Sporting News Whether you're a player or a referee it is always a big thing when you're called up for the World Cup. Some handle it like a walk in the park while for others it turns out to be a mammoth task. For English Referee, Graham Poll it proved to be the latter. It was Croatia vs Australia, Poll booked Croatia's Josip Simunic in the second half and then again in the 90th minute, but for some strange reason failed to brand out a red card. He booked him again for the third time and finally handed over him marching orders. Though Australia went on to qualify but FIFA admitted that they could've asked for a replay if the result would've been different. Poll meanwhile was sent home and retired from the game a year later. You had one job, Graham. 2. Stephen Kiessling's Ghost Goal © ESPN Stephen Kiessling has had a decent if not spectacular career in the German topflight. Scoring 146 goals for Nurenberg and Bayer Leverkusen. But his name came into the headlines when he scored a truly remarkable goal against Hoffenheim back in 2013. 1-0 up, Leverkusen won a corner and ball found the big German, who could only direct his header into the side netting. Disappointed, the former Germany international put his head in his hands, but unfortunately for Hoffenheim, there was a hole in the net and ball went through it into the goal. Referee Felix Brych, simply seeing the keeper picking the ball out of the onion bag assumed it had gone in and Leverkusen led 2-0. After the match, Leverkusen's sporting director, Rudi Voller said,” Hoffenheim's owner has spent so much money on such a beautiful stadium, you think he would be able to spend a few more Euro's on a decent net.” Ouch! 3. German Tragedy vs English Karma © Vimeo If there is one word to describe England's major tournament performances since the World Cup 1966 it has to be 'tragic' (exclude 2018). It was the final of that World Cup that started it all. With the score locked at 2-2 after 90 minutes, the match went into extra time. A pass from Alan Ball set up Geoff Hurst. His fierce strike struck the bar and bounced on the line. The English celebrated and Germans protested. But after consulting his linesman, Swiss Referee Gottfried Dienst gave the goal. Germany pressed up in search of an equaliser and skipper Bobby Moore sprang Hurst once again, who netted England's fourth. This time putting the result beyond doubt. © The National It was World Cup 2010 and England and Germany met again, this time in the second round. Germans with their young but immensely talented squad were 2-0 up when England grabbed one back through Matthew Upson. With the halftime fast approaching, Frank Lampard struck a dipping volley from the edge of the box which left Manuel Neuer rooted to his spot. The ball struck the bar and bounced down into the goal before spinning and coming back onto the field. Uruguayan referee, Jorge Larrionda waved play on and Germany went on to dominate the second half, winning the game 4-1. Karma proved to be a b**ch even after 44 years. 4. Ram - Shayam Syndrome © Sky Sports Arsene Wenger's 1000th game as Arsenal boss came against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Unfortunately for the Frenchman, it ended in a 6-0 defeat after his side was reduced to 10 men in the first 20 minutes. After going 2-0 up and having Arsenal on ropes, there was no stopping Chelsea and Eden Hazard. When the Belgian curled a shot around Wojciech SzczÄsny, Alex Oxlade Chamberlain was covering before he turned the ball wide using his hands. Clear red card offense. Cut to referee Andre Mariner, who sent off Kieran Gibbs. Bizzare scenes followed in which the Ox tried to get himself sent off but Mariner stuck to his guns. To add insult to injury, replay showed that Hazard's shot was going wide. 5. Hand Of Fraud © AS No list of 'football's biggest blunders' will ever be complete without this. Again it was England, again it was World Cup, with Diego Maradona being the beneficiary of some dodgy refereeing. At 0-0 an English defender spooned the ball into his own box and the world's greatest player ran through on goal. Realising his 5′2″ frame was not enough to beat keeper Peter Shilton, Maradona leapt into the air, lifting his head to nudge the ball past English keeper, and into the net. England went mad as the referee gave the goal. Four minutes later, Maradona went on to score one of the greatest solo goals the game has ever seen and Argentina went through. After the game, the little man claimed that his first goal had been scored a little with the head of Maradona and a little with the 'Hand Of God'.

  25. The Galaxy S10 can't seem to remain a secret anymore as leaks have been raining from every corner of the globe. Yesterday, a detailed hands-on video of the Galaxy S10 was leaked online which has now been removed. We virtually know everything about the Galaxy S10/S10+ except for the price — or is it? © YouTube The Galaxy S10 will launch in three variants i.e. Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10e, and the Galaxy S10+ and new leaks have now given us a hint towards the pricing of the upcoming smartphone. The ceramic version of the Galaxy S10 and S10+ is rumoured to come with 12GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. Being the most expensive version of the lineup, the smartphone is bound to break the bank. Having said that, the base model of the Galaxy S10e is expected to cost Rs 60,500 (based on leaked Chinese prices). The smaller Galaxy S10 is expected to start at Rs 72,700 whereas the top model can cost up to Yuan 9000 (Rs 95,000 approx). That's about $1,500. pic.twitter.com/5BIDyeegAf — Evan Blass (@evleaks) February 17, 2019 The price was leaked via reliable tipster Evan Blass and the prices shared looks like a screenshot from an e-commerce website in China. What's worthy to know is that the ceramic version with 12GB RAM and 1TB of internal storage is expected to cost Yuan 10,000 i.e. Rs. 1,05,000. This version of the smartphone is also expected to have 5G support which may be a contributing factor to its high pricing. © Youtube/MKBHD The pricing of these smartphones is expected to be higher in other countries, especially in India, as the prices are a bit lower in China when compared to other markets. Needless to say that these prices are based on a leak and should be taken with a pinch of salt until the smartphone is unveiled officially tomorrow. Samsung's Galaxy Unpacked event is scheduled for February 20th where the South-Korean giant is expected to announce new flagship smartphones and possibly a foldable phone.
