  2. Apple’s next iPhone could include an in-screen fingerprint sensor that we’ve been wanting ever since it was removed when Face ID was first introduced. A new report by Bloomberg suggests the new fingerprint scanner will coexist with Face ID instead of being a replacement for it. Apple has been developing an in-screen fingerprint scanner technology for years and might finally be ready to implement it. © Youtube_Verge Android smartphones already use an in-display fingerprint sensor for years alongside some form of facial recognition. iPhone users have been asking for the feature to make a return and Apple has managed to bring it back on the new iPad Air as it is side-mounted on the power button. Face ID is quite fast and reliable when it comes to the Face Unlock feature. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it has been a problematic method of unlocking the smartphone as the world embraced masks for protection. With the Touch ID, users will be able to unlock the smartphone relatively faster without having to remove the mask much like how it is on Android smartphones. Having said that, it isn’t certain whether Apple will use an in-display fingerprint reader on the next iPhone or whether it will be side-mounted on the power button like the iPad Air. Other rumours suggest that the next iPhone will finally incorporate a 120Hz ProMotion display and remove the charging port in favour of wireless charging exclusively. © YouTube Other reports have also suggested new hardware upgrades when it comes to the next iPhone as it is rumoured the smartphone will have a more capable ultra-wide camera. We have already seen a huge leap in the camera department thanks to Apple’s computational photography feature. However, the next iPhone is expected to come with significant hardware improvements this year. Apple is expected to launch the next lineup of smartphones in September this year with the phones going on sale in October or November. Apple might move the launch of the iPhone permanently to October as there was a delay for the iPhone 12 due to Coronavirus pandemic. It could be possible that Apple might make the change permanent similar to how it was done for the 2011 iPhone 4s. Before the iPhone 4s, new iPhones were launched either in June or July. However, since then Apple has been known to launch a new iPhone every year sometime in September. Source: Bloomberg View the full article
  3. The one piece of news that might bring joy to your heart today is that the Khalsa Aid, known for its wonderful humanitarian work across the globe, has been recognised by literally everyone on this planet and has now been officially nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize by a Canadian MP named Tim Uppal. The organization shared this ‘deeply humbling’ piece of update on their social media and thanked their volunteers for the constant support. NOBLE PEACE PRIZE NOMINATION FOR KHALSA AID Canadian MP @TimUppal , Mayor of Brampton @patrickbrownont & the MPP for Brampton South, @PrabSarkaria have officially nominated Khalsa Aid for the Noble Peace Prize ! We are deeply humbled by this nomination. 🏻 https://t.co/7insV2XT00 — ravinder singh (@RaviSinghKA) January 17, 2021 Obviously, the Twitter feed is filled with ONLY positive vibes and messages to this heart-warming news. What a beautiful news after so many days. Well deserved ♥️ — Prabhjot Kour (@DrPrabhjot7) January 17, 2021 Very well timed.. something which was needed the most especially this time.🏻thankyou sir — Aman sidhu (@Amansid07964665) January 17, 2021 Khalsa Aid is one of those NGO's that needs an international level recognition for their work — Diltaz preet (@Diltaz_) January 18, 2021 Khalsa Aid is a non-profit organisation which was founded in 1999 by Ravi Singh and has been providing help and aid in civil conflict & disaster prone zones across the globe for over two decades now. The organisation has been instrumental in providing aid in India through every natural and man made calamity we've experienced in this country. Khalsa Aid is also the first ever cross-border international humanitarian organisation based on the Sikh principle of ' recognizing the whole human race as one'. It is actually ironic that an organisation which has been globally recognised for its wonderful work was infact summoned by the NIA in ties with a recent case registered against the SFJ, an organisation known to support pro-Khalistani activities . It is actually strange that the Khalsa Aid has never been previously summoned in India for anything like this when its volunteers were tirelessly helping people during the floods, or for building roads or for literally helping people survive in areas which were disaster prone. Only a Sikh charity could be investigated by a national superpower as a terror org in the same week they are nominated for a Nobel Peace prize. Putting fear into tyrants and helping humanity at the same time, this is the way of the Khalsa! Well done @Khalsa_Aid!#DhanGuruNanak pic.twitter.com/Gm2Il2BhPU — Jasveer Singh (@JazzTheJourno) January 18, 2021 It's a very proud thing for us But! At the same time they are summoned by NIA. Shows dirty politics of India.#WomenFarmersAgainstFarmLaws #ArnabExposedPulwama — HARKEERAT SINGH ‍♂️ (@HARKEERATSAMRA) January 18, 2021 The founder of Khalsa Aid, Ravi Singh is a British resident and founded it with the simple idea of taking the Sikh concept of ‘langar’ across the globe and in the hope that helping each other instil humanity in people. In 2016, the BBC made a documentary on him titled The Selfless Sikh, and it documented his journey to the north of Iraq where he helped the Yazidi families. While he has received many accolades and awards for his efforts, the Nobel Peace Prize will be the best award to honour the beautiful efforts of the Khalsa Aid. However, nothing tops the love, blessings and the good wishes that pour from the hearts of literally everyone in the world for them. View the full article
  4. The iPhone 12 display has been rumoured to get upgrades for a while and it seems like this time Apple may finally catch up with its Android counterparts. The iPhone 13 is expected to have upgrades that we will also fund in flagship 2021 smartphones. © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla Many expected the iPhone 12 series to make the jump to 120Hz displays however that wasn’t the case. The iPhone 13 though is rumoured to be using advanced 120Hz LTPO displays made by Samsung according to a report by The Elec. LTPO (low-temperature polycrystalline oxide) is a type of transistor that is a part of smartphone displays. However, this transistor enables phones to have a variable refresh rate display and lets displays tick between frames automatically. Samsung already uses LTPO in their displays in the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and will also be used for the upcoming Galaxy S21 Series. Unlike other phones that use higher refresh rates, the iPhone 13 will be able to adapt the refresh rate according to what a user is doing. Higher refresh rate displays are known to drain a lot of battery and in turn reduces the phones’ overall battery backup. To counter this problem, the LTPO enables the phone to adapt the refresh rate on the fly. This means the iPhone 13 will be able to increase the refresh rate when playing games or drop it down when on the home screen. This helps in conserving battery life and we’ve already seen this implementation on the iPad Pro. © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla Having said that, not all models of the iPhone 13 will be getting the higher refresh rate displays. Much like the iPhone 12 Series, the next iPhone is touted to have four models where the higher refresh rate display will only be used for the ‘Pro’ models. The Elec’s report also states that it won't be until 2022 when all models get LTPO displays. Samsung will be the only supplier of the new displays for now while other companies like LG display will start supplying components not until 2022. This would explain why only two models will be getting a higher refresh rate display. The iPhone 13 won’t launch until September 2021 and Apple has enough time to figure out how to use a higher refresh rate display with iOS until the launch. There’s also a good chance that Apple might bring back the fingerprint sensor by side-mounting it on the power button. Apple has already used this technique on the new iPad Air and because of the COVID-19 pandemic, it seems logical to have an alternate way to unlock iPhones apart from using FaceID. 5. Samsung confirmed yesterday that the next Galaxy event will take place on January 14th, the last day of CES. Much like every other Samsung major event, the products that are expected to be announced end up getting fully leaked before the event goes live. The case remains the same with Galaxy S21, as new leaks have now started to surface that show what the South Korean company is up to. It has been long rumoured that one of the Galaxy S21 models would get support for the S Pen Stylus and it seems like we’ve got our first leak that confirms this feature. Almost everything has leaked online about the Galaxy S21 and this time, there’s an image that supports the leaks. © Winfuture WinFuture leaked two images that show the Galaxy S21 Ultra’s special case that will let users store the stylus for the phone. In a separate image, the website also revealed the S Pen that can be used with the smartphone. The S Pen stylus is expected to sell separately and will not be included with the phone. Rumours suggest the S Pen will be priced at $49, however, the price of the special case has not been specified. The case, however, will be made of plastic and is wider than the phone in order to store the S Pen. There is a good chance that Samsung might offer the two accessories as a bundle along with the S21 Ultra which we will know more about next week. © Winfuture The S Pen that can be used with the Galaxy S21 Ultra looks awfully a lot like the stylus you get with the Galaxy Tab S7. It’s slightly different than what users get with the Galaxy Note Series as one will not be able to store it inside the phone itself. The S Pen uses digitizer technology from Wacom and has a pressure-sensitive tip. This particular S Pen can be used for “scroll through presentations, start/stop video playback, and take photos” according to WinFuture. The stylus will also offer support for gestures like the Galaxy Note series thanks to an integrated accelerometer. While the images shared by WinFuture are quite reliable, we still suggest you take this information with a grain of salt until Samsung confirms the new features. We can expect some exclusive S Pen features to be announced by Samsung at the ‘Galaxy Unpacked’ event next week. Source: WinFuture View the full article

  8. My biggest problem with every OnePlus phone that has launched until now is probably the camera capabilities of the phones. Irrespective of whether you're using a 'pro' or a normal variant, they aren’t at par with modern smartphones. There have been times where OnePlus phones tend to click images worse than budget phones that cost half its price. However, according to a new rumour, that might all change with the OnePlus 9 Series. © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla OnePlus 9 has already been pictured and leaked this past week, but it seems like there’s a new collaboration that might change photography on these phones. The brand is said to be working with Leica for the OnePlus 9 series which could change image quality for the better. © PhoneArena Leica has worked with smartphone OEMs in the past such as Huawei and managed to deliver some of the best camera smartphones in the past. Twitter tipster ‘Rodent950’ took to Twitter and revealed that OnePlus will be working with the German photography company next year. The account is most known for Huawei leaks which could add some weight to his information, thanks to the Chinese company and Leica’s partnership in the past. Huawei- Leica OnePlus- Leica Nokia- Zeiss Vivo- Zeiss Who takes Hasselblad — Teme (特米) (@RODENT950) December 17, 2020Op9 series — Teme (特米) (@RODENT950) December 17, 2020The OnePlus 9 is rumoured to come with a multiple-camera setup, however the exact information on sensors still eludes leakers at the moment. Rumours suggest there will be two 48MP sensors, a 16MP selfie camera while other sensors are up for speculation at the moment. It could be possible that at least one of the sensors could be made by Leica for the ‘Pro’ models of the upcoming OnePlus 9 series. © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla The phone is also expected to have a flat 6.55-inch display that is similar to what we’ve already seen on the OnePlus 8T. The display is also expected to have a refresh rate of 120Hz and a resolution of 2400 x 1080p. Much like previous OnePlus phones, the main series is likely to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 chipset and will be paired with up to 12GB of RAM. Do you think OnePlus’ partnership with Leica could improve photography capabilities in future OnePlus phones? Do let us know in the comments what you think about this rumoured partnership. 9. The Galaxy S21 is expected to launch soon and before it could even become official, the pricing for the phone may have leaked. The phone is expected to launch on January 14th and we are most likely to hear more about the phone before it launches in the coming weeks. Samsung has already confirmed that the higher end models of the Galaxy S21 will also feature support for the S Pen stylus. Today, a new leak suggests the phones will have a lower price tag than its predecessor as well. © LetsGoDigital A new leak by GalaxyClub has revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S21 series will be cheaper than the Galaxy S20 series this year. The website claims the 128GB model of the Galaxy S21 is expected to start at €879 (Rs 79,197.02), which is less than the €999 price tag of the Galaxy S20 model. The S21+ model is also expected to be priced lower than its predecessor and is expected to cost €1,079 (Rs 97,216.82). Of course, do keep in mind that these prices will be different for India as Samsung tends to practice regional pricing and does not directly convert the international price for its smartphones. However, the leak does give us a chance to speculate that even the Indian models will be cheaper than the Galaxy S20 Series. © LetsGoDigital Having said that, not all is rosy when it comes to pricing as the Galaxy S21 Ultra is expected to be a bit costlier than the Galaxy S20 Ultra this time around. The new phone is expected to cost €50 more than its predecessor, at €1,399. This could be possible as Samsung plans to bring S Pen support for the higher-end models and that somewhat justifies the slightly higher price. Samsung has also confirmed that even though S Pen features will be available on at least one of the S21 models, the South Korean giant does not plan to discontinue the Galaxy Note series in 2021. Sunny has been bashed on social media ever since he has been elected as a member of the Gurdaspur constituency because he hasn’t been available for the people of Punjab who are now even more upset with him. A while back, he had also tweeted in favour of the farm laws, which is why his security was upgraded as people have turned against him. Sunny had tweeted, “I request the entire world that this matter remains between our farmers and the government. Do not interfere, because they will find a way after holding discussions. I know that many people want to take advantage of it and create problems. They are not thinking of the farmers and may have their own agenda.” pic.twitter.com/a9imr724lg — Sunny Deol (@iamsunnydeol) December 6, 2020 As per reports, Sunny will now have 11 security personnel, including two commandos and policemen. 11. A new leak from Apple’s supply chain indicates that the next iPhone may get features that fans have been wanting for a while now which have been present on Android devices for years. Next year’s flagship iPhone might finally come with an always-on display and a report suggests it may even enable the ProMotion display feature for iPhones. © MensXP_Akshay Bhalla Reports point to LG offering a type of display panel for iPhones that are already being used in the Apple Watch Series 5. These screens are called LTPO panels that might be used for Pro models of the next iPhone. These panels will not only let Apple use the always-on feature but also let Apple increase the refresh rate of the display. The report says, “LG Display will expand the production rate of its organic light-emitting diode (OLED) panel factory lines dedicated to Apple, TheElec has learned […] LG Display is planning to put in low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (LPTO) thin-film transistors (TFT) equipment […] Apple is planning to apply LTPO TFT to higher-tier iPhone models launching next year. It has used the low-temperature polycrystalline silicon (LTPS) TFT process so far. An oxide TFT process will be added to become LPTO TFT.” These LTPO panels allow variable refresh rates which means the next iPhones may able be to have an extremely low rate to conserve battery. At the same time have the ability to increase the refresh rate for a smoother experience. The Apple Watch Series 5 already has always-on enabled which means a similar function could be applied to the iPhone as well. © MensXP_Akshay Bhalla A second report by TheElec suggests the refresh rate of the next iPhone could be boosted to 120Hz for smoother graphics in games and ultra-responsiveness. “Next year’s OLED panel used for iPhone 13 will be more technologically sophisticated to make, compared to those used in iPhone 12. Two out of the four models launching next year will use low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO) thin-film transistors (TFT). LTPO technology is needed for the screens to reach 120Hz refresh rate. All four models will use on-cell touch screens as well,” the report said. Apple already uses a 120Hz display in the form of ProMotion on the iPad Pro and it would be interesting to see how it works on the next iPhone. The iPad Pro automatically adjusts the refresh rate on the ProMotion display according to what is being done on the screen. A similar method is used by Samsung for its latest Galaxy smartphones as well. Source: TheElec View the full article

  13. Good films aren’t simply made up of a good script and a solid lead pair. While these might play a crucial role in adding value to the final product, there are a number of other factors that play a vital role in deciding the fate of a successful film. One such essential factor is creating and choosing the supporting characters. © Fox Star Studios Right from how they are built and portrayed in the movie, to how they look and what they say, good supporting characters can really boost the quality of a film. So, here is a list of 7 such memorable and important supporting characters, without whom these hit Bollywood films would have never been as much fun or successful: 1. Shiva - Kabir Singh © T-Series Admit it, friends like Shiva are hard to come by. Most of us would kill for a friend like him who legit makes it a point to stick by your side to thick and thin, without ever complaining. Shiva always had Kabir’s back no matter what Kabir was going through in his personal and professional life and would go to any length to ensure his best friend finds the happiness he deserves. Kabir really would have had a much harder time without Shiva cleaning up the mess after him. 2. Pritam Vidhrohi - Bareilly Ki Barfi © Junglee Pictures There’s no doubt that Rajkummar Rao is an impressive actor but what really amazes me is the fact that he gives his best, even as a supporting character. If you’ve watched the movie, you know that Pritam Vidhrohi’s character becomes pivotal to the story at one point, and boy, does Rajkummar do justice to the role. He barges right in, does a complete 180 and delivers a performance that has all of us (including Chirag) believing that Pritam has had a complete change of heart (and personality) and will be walking away with the girl. Like it or not, Bareilly Ki Barfi would have never been as entertaining without Pritam in the picture. 3. MC Sher - Gully Boy © Excel Entertainment What can we say about MC Sher? Siddhanth Chaturvedi did such a splendid job at bringing MC Sher to life on-screen. As a guru and confidante to Murad, MC Sher shines through as a precious character who adds an indispensable layer to the film’s plot. MC Sher inspires trust and admiration and we love that he stands beside Murad like a pillar of strength all the way. Do you think Murad would have evolved as beautifully had the makers given a miss to MC Sher? Thought so. 4. Abbas - Luka Chuppi © Maddock Films Another character who stole our hearts as an irreplaceable friend was Abbas from Luka Chuppi. Aparshakti Khurrana as Abbas was just that and a bit more. Thoughtful and affectionate, Abbas, and his empathetic nature, gives us a glimpse of a friendship that can survive every storm. Abbas is willing to do whatever it takes to stick by his best friend Guddu and help him get his personal life on track. A problem solver and confidante in the truest sense, Abbas did win many hearts. 5. Jhalkari Bai - Manikarnika © Zee Studios Great visions see the light of the day only when others believe in it and join in. Such was the role Ankita Lokhande portrayed in Manikarnika as Jalkari Bai. Such was her faith in her queen, she literally gave her all to bring Rani Jhansi’s vision to fruition. On multiple occasions, Jhalkari Bai shows us what a true comrade and well-wisher looks like and how far a little bit of faith can take you when you put your heart to it. 6. Gopi - Angrezi Medium © Maddock Films Deepak Dobriyal’s Gopi adds so much charm and emotion to Angrezi Medium that it’s almost impossible to imagine the film going anywhere without him by Champak’s side. The duo might be half-brothers and share a love-hate relationship on the surface, but their fondness for each other shines through unmistakably on a number of occasions. From offering his unconditional support to adding the perfect amount of comic relief to the plot, Gopi is a total winner. 7. Dadi - Badhaai Ho © Junglee Pictures You can never get over a grumpy and quirky Surekha Sikri who charmed the audience with her performance in the film. Right from nailing the tu-tu, main-main that’s so stereotypical of desi saas-bahu, to transforming into a doting mother-in-law along the way, Dadi was a massive hit with the viewers. And then, of course, the solid comic punches she delivers with her witty dialogues throughout the movie are unforgettable! Which other memorable supporting characters should we add to the list? 14. Online dating isn’t the easiest thing you have had to do. Okay, perhaps it can’t be a pretty good pastime if that’s what you’re looking for, but if you’re genuinely looking to build connections and trying to meet someone who is compatible, wants the same things as you, online dating can sometimes seem like a whole new ballgame. © Twitter/Kaitlin Koult At a time when first impressions are made on the basis of profile pictures, bios and first interactions on dating apps, things never go beyond personal messages. You’ve often wondered why that is and one of the major reasons lies in the fact that most often we say things we shouldn’t and don’t ask the questions we should. Here are 5 such seemingly innocuous but ‘real’ questions you should ask your dating app matches that she will not only appreciate, but also respond to (in most cases). 1. “What Are You Looking For?” via GIPHY If she doesn’t ask you this at the go, you should. Here’s why it always works. One, not everyone is looking for the same thing on a dating platform. Two, by asking her what she’s looking for, you are not only respecting her expectations but also giving importance to her needs and that’s a big plus. Third, by getting this question out there, you save both of your time and chances of a potential heartburn in the future. 2. “Do You Have A First-Date Policy?” via GIPHY If you get a convincing response to the first question, you might want to ask this sometime during the conversation. Chances are, she might actually have such an unsaid policy that she follows to see if a guy is worth a second date. Handshake, hug, pecks on the cheek or more, it could be anything. So if you are looking for things to pick-up in the long run, getting it right the first time always comes handy. 3. “What’s Your Idea Of A Terrible First Date?” via GIPHY That’s unusual right? People usually want to know what someone’s idea of a perfect date is, but that ain’t gonna be you. She thinks, interesting… and now you have her attention. She may or may not have had a terrible date in real life, but trust us that won’t stop her from laying out exactly what you could do wrong on your first date. How’s that for a good save? 4. “Any Incidents That Soured Your (Online) Dating Experience?” via GIPHY Online or not, we have all met our share of weirdos and pain in the arse(s) in the dating scenario and it isn’t exactly a sweet memory. Why should you ask this question, because their response will give you an insight into this potential date you’re trying to figure out. What makes them tick, their outlook towards things and even a sense of the kind of person they might be, the response will give you a fairly good idea about all of that. It’s a rather deep question, but she doesn’t have to know that. 5. “What’s That One Thing You’ve Always Wanted To Ask A Guy?” via GIPHY Now, if you’re looking to solve the mystery that your match is, throw in this question to see what she comes up with. This can help you gauge where she is at, if she’s fun or if she’s naive and curious - giving her an open pass should make her fess up and works wonders as a conversation starter too. She might ask you what turns-off a man or why guys do what they do. Either way, be assured this conversation will be a lot better than starting off with a one-liner. 15. We aren’t too far from the launch of the Galaxy S21 and it seems like information about the upcoming smartphone has been leaking quite profusely. The latest leak deals with a Geekbench 5 result that was spotted online by Tom’s Guide. The smartphone that will have the model number SM-8991U was spotted on Geekbench’s website running on a “Lahaina” chipset, a codename for either Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 chipset or Samsung’s latest Exynos chipset. The score results were not as impressive as we would expect it to be. The results show scores of 1,120 (single-core) and 3,319 (multi-core) in Geekbench 5 which is quite lower than the iPhone 12 Series being powered by the A14 Bionic. © Voice However, it is important to point out that the benchmarks don’t really represent actual real-world usage completely. There could also be a chance that Samsung is still making optimisations to make sure the new chipset performs at its full potential. It also worth pointing out that it is too early to assume anything right now especially since the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset was announced just last week. We can expect improvements in other areas such as photography, AI and gaming which don’t get tested by Geekbench. The benchmarking tool only takes computational speed into account and it would be interesting to see how the new chips compare with the competition once we get the smartphone in our hand. 17. The one and only thing people have desperately been waiting for since March is the Covid-19 vaccine. It's been a long year and people are tired of it, but looks like our wait is over. Speaking at the All Party Meeting, PM Narendra Modi addressed one of the most important things that need addressing right now and gave everyone the good news about the vaccine development in India. © Twitter He said that the vaccine could be available in a few weeks and that's honestly the kind of positive news we needed right now. In the virtual meeting, he said that the frontline workers who have been risking their lives for months along with elderly people with serious ailments will be among the first to get the vaccination. Speaking at the All Party Meeting. https://t.co/TZaJ5DJBXz — Narendra Modi (@narendramodi) December 4, 2020 However, another point he mentioned in the meeting is a little confusing. He talked about how deliberations are underway with the states about the pricing and distribution of the vaccine but shouldn't the vaccine be free for everyone? In today's all-party meeting, we hope the PM clarifies by when will every Indian get free Covid vaccine. हमें आशा है कि आज सर्वदलीय बैठक में PM ये स्पष्ट करेंगे कि हर भारतीय को मुफ़्त कोरोना वैक्सीन कब तक दी जाएगी। — Rahul Gandhi (@RahulGandhi) December 4, 2020 Talking about the distribution of the vaccine once it's rolled out, he said, "India has vaccine distribution expertise and capacity. We are far better than several other countries in this regard. We have a vast and experienced vaccination network and the country will capitalize on these advantages." People also have suggestions as to who all should be prioritized for the vaccine. @PMOIndia @PMOIndia @drharshvardhan Request you to include SANITARY & POLICE Personnel in Priority vaccine group! They have done yeoman job & hv sacrificed their lives also. Please, please, Please. Kindly note, I am not in any priority group. You must hv planned very well https://t.co/u7oroKCuvN — Desai Rajendra (@desairajendra) December 4, 2020 Hmm. Hope we get something to end this pandemic as soon as possible. India is in mode of economic and pandemic resilience. #IndiaFightsCorona #indianeconomy https://t.co/5rjmgg1WKs — Shashank (@Shashan51742795) December 4, 2020 It really should be free. Honourable PM sir,the cost of vaccine should be in range of reach of poor people . The price must be that low that a person sleeping on footpath could also be able to afford it. https://t.co/CCW2J5jUPZ — Work Humanity (@WorkHumanity1) December 4, 2020 Wow. Sir, Your remarks at the all parties meeting about COVID-19 would be a roadmap to fight against COVID-19 and update on its vaccine and it's progress. India's recovery rate 94.2% shows, that we are on right track to fight against COVID-19 and have saved & saving many lives — Nishant🇮🇳 (@iNishant4) December 4, 2020 View the full article
  18. Most of us have been staying at home for over six months now. In the Winter season, it's easy to fall into a routine of not showering every day or not taking care of your skin at all. Unfortunately, this self-inflicted grooming neglect will start to show very soon in the form of these factors: 1. Dry, Scaly Hands © iStock There is no bigger turnoff than shaking hands with someone who has extremely dry and scaly hands. Hands get rough and cracked easily in the Winter season. In fact, amid the pandemic, the constant use of soap and sanitiser can make them dry even more quickly. This is why it's important to buy a hand cream with your monthly sanitiser purchase. Use the hand cream daily to make sure your hands are adequately moisturised. __ECOMPRODUCT__781__ 2. Dark Eye CirclesEye bags usually indicate that you slept badly the night before or the signs of ageing have already started hitting you. A simple solution is a concealer that suits your skin tone. A BB cream would do the job as well. In the long term, you're looking at investing in a good under eye serum. __ECOMPRODUCT__925__ 3. Dry & Frizzy HairIf you have frizzy and dry hair, it means that even if you're using a shampoo and conditioner either they're not right for you or you're not using them in the designated proportions. Find a pair that matches your hair type and perhaps start a hair care routine that involves oiling your hair as well. __ECOMPRODUCT__926__ 4. Dandruff View the full article
  19. Ghosting - this may not be the first time you have heard of this word, but maybe this is your first time experiencing it. We know there is no easy way of putting this, but it does hurt like crazy, eh? © Unsplash Now you agree that that friend of yours wasn’t ‘moping’ for no reason and that your ‘there are other fish in the sea’ advice does sound like a load of crap, doesn’t it? It really does boil down to experiencing things first hand to understand how bad things suck. But there’s a problem. The ghosting experiences your friends had seem different to what you’re going through, so you aren’t entirely sure if you have been ghosted or not. Worry not, these 7 things will confirm it for you. 1. Enter The Dreaded Monosyllables © Unsplash The earliest sign that shows up is when words become scarce in your everyday conversations. From a few lines, it goes to a single sentence, a few words and eventually you begin to receive only monosyllabic responses or worse, just smileys. 2. The Puppy Love Phase Had FadedWhen the two of you decided to ‘give this a try’, it did feel exhilarating. The conversation was lively, your dates were fun too and overall things did seem a lot exciting. But of late, you have felt things fizzle out and now it does feel like you’ve hit a dud merely at the six week mark. 3. She Felt Like A ‘Dream Come True’ © Unsplash She did seem like the real deal, and you remember thinking ‘she’s too good to be true’ on more than one occasion. You guys almost had the same likes and dislikes, your food choices and past time indulgences seem to align perfectly well too and you’ve never had a major disagreement so far - but chances are all of that seemed to work because that is how they meant to keep it. None of it was perhaps real to begin with. 4. The ‘Serious’ Business Didn’t Go WellThe one time you tried to say the three golden words to her, it kind of unsettled her. You could see she wasn’t ‘expecting’ it just yet, so you decided to push the ‘serious’ talk for later. What you need to understand here is that, women too can have commitment issues, and perhaps she felt it would be better to leave before things got serious. She didn’t want to ‘hurt’ you. 5. Lately She’s Been ‘Unavailable’ A Lot © Unsplash Another sign guys need to pick up on quick is when suddenly she seems a lot busier than she used to be. She keeps cancelling plans or makes excuses for being MIA, and although none of it feels too convincing, you have no choice but to take a rain-check. Only, that doesn’t happen either. 6. Her Social Media Seems ‘Dead’You have had your suspicions. She may not have been a social media addict, but she’s also not someone whose radio silence on social media can be called ‘normal’. Chances are you have been kept out of her social (media) activities not just offline but online too. Take the hint already! 7. You Never Had A Real ‘Heart-To-Heart’ © Unsplash For as long as you have known each other or ‘been into each other’, you cannot claim to have had a real heart-to-heart conversation with her. Most of your conversations have been pretty surface level, and the two of you never got into the finer details in the time you were “together”. That is saying something, isn’t it? BONUS: If she has stopped replying to your calls and messages altogether, you’ve definitely been ghosted. View the full article
  20. Qualcomm is probably the only name that comes to most people's minds when it comes to mobile chipsets. They're the best in the game when it comes to SoC and they just announced a new flagship mobile chipset. It's called the Snapdragon 888 and it'll be the one powering major Android flagship phones in 2021. The new Snapdragon 888 is the successor to the Snapdragon 865, so it'll be bringing some meaningful upgrades to the table. Sadly, Qualcomm hasn't released much about the processor yet but we'll learn more about it next week. View the full article
