  1. It seems like 2020 has even more bad news in store for us, as a new strain of flu that has the potential to become a global pandemic has been discovered by scientists in China. The virus is being carried by pigs and can infect humans, according to scientists. Researchers have expressed concern that the virus can further mutate and will easily spread from person to person, which could result in yet another global outbreak. The virus is not as big of a concern as COVID-19, however, scientists say it has all the necessary attributes required for it to mutate to infect humans and requires close monitoring. © Reuters It possesses âall the essential hallmarks of being highly adapted to infect humansâ, said the authors, scientists at Chinese universities and Chinaâs Center for Disease Control and Prevention. The findings of the virus were posted in a journal on Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. It is worth to note that more than one in 10 swine workers have already been infected and tests indicate as many as 4.4% of the general population have already been exposed to the new virus. The virus has been given the name âG4â by the researchers. The researchers added in their report, âIt is of concern that human infection of G4 virus will further human adaptation and increase the risk of a human pandemic,â the researchers wrote. As the news broke, people on social media were clearly not happy about the new virus and shared their concerns: What is wrong with #China ? 2. TikTok, the popular social media app that let users share short videos, has been officially removed from Googleâs Play Store and Appleâs App Store. The app was banned by the Ministry of Information and Technology Monday night citing national security reasons. The apps were found to be violating the privacy of users and their data was being stored outside the county. The Indian Government ordered both Google and Apple to remove the app listing from their respective stores and does not show any result when searching for the application. © MensXP The Ministry has also ordered ISPs and Telecom providers to enforce the ban as the application still works on phones that had it installed previously. TikTok was not the only application to get banned by the Indian Government as 58 other apps and games were also targeted. The Government said in a statement, âinvoking its power under section 69A of the Information Technology Act read with the relevant provisions of the Information Technology (Procedure and Safeguards for Blocking of Access of Information by Public) Rules 2009 and in view of the emergent nature of threats has decided to block 59 apps since in view of the information available they are engaged in activities which are prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defence of India, the security of the state and public order.â © Unsplash/ Konkarampelas Having said that, not all applications that were banned have been removed from the digital app stores as one can still download Cam Scanner, ShareIt, Mobile Legends and other banned apps at the moment of writing this story. iOS 14 beta has a banner to confirm when you paste from another device (eg copy on a Mac and paste on iPhone) Seems to be bugging out and showing with every keystroke in TikTok pic.twitter.com/aFKNfZnpyb â Jeremy Burge (@jeremyburge) June 24, 2020 TikTok was also caught spying on millions of its users on iPhone that was revealed thanks to a new feature on iOS 14. The app would be able to read everything a user would copy which also includes sensitive information such as passwords, work documents, sensitive emails and financial information. 3. Apple just wrapped up its annual WWDC event where it announced a lot of really cool software features. We have a new version of iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and more, but for now, let's focus on the new iOS 14. Apple has given us our very first look at the latest version of iOS, the iOS 14. It's bringing the biggest change to the home screen in years with the launch of widgets. New Home Screen Customization & Widgets © Apple Yes, widgets were already a thing in iOS, but they're going to be more prominent now as you can bring them out to any of your home screen pages and customize them. They'll now live right alongside your apps and it kind of looks cool. Apple is also bringing the 'App Library' view that automatically organizes apps into groups and lists. This will basically do the work for you and automatically create folders for, say, Apple Arcade. It's also worth pointing out that Apple has also added a system-wide picture-in-picture mode. New Siri Features © Apple In iOS 14, Siri also has a new view. So instead of taking up your entire screen, Siri will now peek as a drop-down shade when you say "Hey Siri". This is great because you no longer have to leave what you were doing. Also, Siri can now send audio messages in addition to dictated messages. iMessage Is Getting Even Better © Apple In iOS 14, you'll be able to pin important conversations and contacts on top. Apple has also introduced threads inside group chat to make it easier to follow a particular conversation. And of course, Apple is also adding a lot of ways to customize your Memoji. App Clip © Apple If you know anything about Android's 'Instant Apps' then you'll already know what we're going to talk about. Apple's App Clip is essentially a speedy, card-based snippet of apps that let you access small parts of apps without having to download them. For instance, if you want to order something from the marketplace, then you can simply use App Clip and use the app instead of downloading the full app, which you'll probably never use again. Privacy FocusApple is also taking privacy very seriously and is adding a slew of new privacy features. There'll be a new dot in the top right corner to indicate that an app is using a microphone or camera. This is a great way to keep a tab on the apps that are misusing your permissions. Apps will also have to ask before they track you across other apps and websites. iOS 14 will be tested and made better over the summer, and it'll be made available with the new iPhones that come out in September. 4. There are a few Bollywood films that didnât create much buzz when released but later gained cult status. And these movies are the ones that can be re-watched again and again without any disappointment. Now, after almost two decades, the makers of Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein are working on its sequel. And we are already excited! The film released in the year 2001 and starred Dia Mirza and R. Madhavan in the lead roles. From its music to the movieâs storyline the film made us fall in love with it. The makers of RHTDM had earlier also expressed their interest in working on a sequel and fans are already excited about it. According to a Mid-Day report, the makers now have a script already and have also gotten in touch with the actors to reprise their roles. The report also quoted a source saying, âThe makers toyed with some concepts, on and off, over the years. Only now have they found a script that has appealed to everyone and seems a natural progression to the lives of Maddy and Reena [the characters essayed by Madhavan and Mirza respectively]. The script is in the final stage of development." The story will now revolve around the protagonists' post-marital journey and how things turn out to be after a few years of their marriage. The story line will also attempt to find the lost love in their marriage and Dia Mirza recently hinted that a sequel is on itâs way during a live chat session. She said, âWe are doing our best to make it happen, but we will only work together when we can give our best. There is something so special about Reena and Maddy and I think there were an innocence and honesty we shared in RHTDM that resonates so deeply with everyone even today. We wouldnât want to dilute that in any way.â Well, fans are excited to watch the film real soon and hopefully not on any OTT platform but at the theatres. View the full article
  5. The iPhone 12 and 12 Pro leaks have been making rounds on the internet and prominent leaker Jon Prosser posted a video detailing everything about the upcoming phones. The video reveals the specs, pricing, and other details for Appleâs new phones expected to launch this fall. © Unsplash_Daniel Romero According to Prosser and his sources, Apple will be launching two models i.e, the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro where both models will be getting a âMaxâ model. The lineup will include a 5.4-inch and 6.1-inch model where the Pro models will come with OLED displays with 10-bit colour depth made by Samsung. The iPhone 12 will also have OLED displays but will be manufactured by BOE instead. The leaks also say Pro models will come with 6GB of RAM and a triple camera setup that will include a LiDAR sensor. The non-Pro models will feature 4GB RAM and a dual-camera setup instead. The Pro model is expected to have a stainless steel body while the non-Pro model will be made of an aluminium body. © Unsplash_Daniel Romero When it comes to the pricing, Prosser believes the iPhone 12 will cost somewhere around $649 (~ Rs 49,229) for the 128GB model and will go up to $749 (~Rs 56,800) for the 256GB variant. The Max version fo the iPhone 12 will be a bit more expensive and will start at $749 (~Rs 56,800) for the 128GB model and cost $849 for the 256GB (~Rs 64,400) variant. For the Pro models, there are expected to be three variants for each size where it will start at $999, $1,099, and $1,299 for the 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB versions respectively. The Max models of the 12 Pro are expected to be priced at $1,099, $1,199, and $1,399 for the same storage versions respectively. © Unsplash_Daniel Romero Yesterday, it was rumoured that the iPhone 12 Pro would come with a 120Hz ProMotions display however Prosser says there is an internal conflict at Apple. The phones might ship with the features but will not be enabled depending on the battery performance of the two devices. It is worthy to note that Prosser is quite new to the Apple leaks scene, however, he has accurately predicted the launch of Apple products in the recent past. His track record has been on point so far which adds more weight to these leaks. Having said that, the information above is still based on leaks and it is still quite early to determine Appleâs plans. Features could change before the launch of the iPhone 12 series later this year or these leaks could just be untrue. We can only know for sure when Apple launches the new iPhone later this fall. 6. With international and domestic flights being cancelled since March, a bunch of people were left stranded everywhere as they failed to fly back home. While almost everyone was able to actually figure out the situation and reach a safe place, a man from Germany cannot go anywhere and is stuck at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi. Basically, after getting stranded due to coronavirus, his country has even refused to claim him and he's currently living at the freaking airport. It's just like that Tom Hanks movie The Terminal come to life. © Amblin Entertainment 40-year-old Edgard Ziebat was on his way to Istanbul from Hanoi on March 18 when his flight got cancelled. And, since he has a criminal record, the German government is not willing to take custody of him since he is in a foreign land and he's not getting an Indian visa for the same reason. An officer from the airport said, "After spending around a week in the transit area, with four other stranded passengers who arrived in Delhi on different dates â two from Sri Lanka and one each from the Maldives and the Philippines â airport authorities alerted their respective embassies." © Twitter He went on, "While others were facilitated by their embassies concerned and were taken for quarantine, officials from the German embassy informed the Indian bureau of immigration that Ziebat is a wanted criminal in their country with several cases of assault and other crimes registered against him. Since he was on foreign land, they did not take his custody. The Delhi Police and airport operator DIAL (Delhi International Airport Limited) were also apprised of the situation." So now, he's just living in the transit area of the airport because he obviously cannot leave without having a visa. For the last 54 days, he's reportedly been hanging out around the airport reading magazines and newspapers and talking to the staff. The airport authorities have also helped him by providing him with a recliner, mosquito net, food and other basic essential items. © Amblin Entertainment The officer added, "He told officials that he can manage his expenses. He sleeps on the beds, benches, on the floors, wherever he feels like. He is alone in the transit area as it is not being used because the airport is closed for passengers." Now, he's just waiting for the flights to resume flying but it really looks like it's going to be a while. Well, whatever the case, this would be one hell of a pandemic story to tell people in the future. View the full article

Reportedly, the titular characterâs love for food was identical to Rishi Kapoorâs personal culinary weaknesses. 3. This was supposed to be Rishi Kapoorâs comeback film after the cancer hiatus, followed by Deepika Padukone starrer The Intern and Pandit Galli Ka Ali with Sanjay Dutt. Sharmaji Namkeen director Hitesh Bhatia revealed that he was excited to essay Robert De Niroâs role in the Bollywood remake of The Intern. © Twitter/iam-juhi 4. 8. While OnePlus may have announced the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro recently, the company also announced a wireless charger for the 8 Pro. It is called the Warp Charge 30 wireless charger that uses proprietary technology to charge the OnePlus 8 Pro wirelessly at 30W which translates to 50 per cent top-up in just 30 minutes. © OnePlus The OnePlus wireless charger was announced for $70 in the US and â¬70 in Europe but never revealed the official pricing of the charger for India. But a recent leak has confirmed the wireless charger will retail in India for Rs 3,990; cheaper than any region OnePlus has launched this charger. The charger also has an in-built fan to keep the phone cool while charging wirelessly. It can also be used to charge other devices that support wireless charging however it will only charge at 5W when not using a OnePlus phone. © OnePlus Previous tests have shown that the fan on the wireless charger does make considerable amounts of noise. However, that can be avoided by using a Bedtime mode. This mode will let users turn off the fan manually but the charging speed will then be reduced at 10W. As the name suggests, this mood should be used during sleeping hours for a more silent performance than the fast-charging mode. The charger is expected to sell in India by next month when the country is expected to relax the lockdown caused by the COVID-19 outbreak. The OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro are also expected to sell alongside the charger albeit it is only compatible with the âProâ model. View the full article
  9. Recently in Indore, a man driving a high-end Porsche convertible car was made to do sit-ups as punishment for violating lockdown rules. The nationwide lockdown has extended till May 3 owing to the increase in the number of coronavirus cases and sadly, many people are still flouting the rules without understanding the gravity of the situation. He was stopped by Municipal Security Committee personnel for cruising in the yellow two-seater car on the open roads, which are free of traffic due to the lockdown. Members of the city Security Council soon spotted and stopped him. The city Security Council has retired personnel from the Army, paramilitary and the police as volunteers who are attached with police stations across Indore. 11. It's lockdown day number 28 and no one can differentiate weekends from weekdays now. Itâs like time doesn't exist anymore. Everything is a blur and people who are privileged enough to stay at home safely are just getting bored out of their minds. With everything going on, turns out all hours have turned into horny hours on Twitter, something that was reserved for just night in our non-quarantined life, and came right before âsadboiâ hours. But, turns out it was actually National Horny Day yesterday and it's still going strong. It was time for rise and grind since it has been trending since 9 am in the morning. Technically it's still a workday and a trend about being horny on a working day, that too so bright and early, is not something we thought would actually happen. 12. Back in March, we took a closer look at the collective efforts of some of the worldâs most influential and important CEOs when it came to organising and funding aid during the coronavirus pandemic. While some of them are doing truly fantastic work, hereâs a question that probably no one cared to ask - how are the billionaires doing? Naturally, if you earn multiple thousands of dollars per hour, worrying about layoffs, pay cuts and everything in between is a bit unrelatable for the worldâs richest. But as the going says, more money, more problems. It certainly rang true for Reliance head honcho Mukesh Ambani, who lost nearly 30% of his net worth in a single month and tumbled from his 9th place spot to a distant 18th. Hereâs how the worldâs 10 wealthiest men have kept the fort running during the greatest crisis of the 21st century - so far. Jeff Bezos Embed: Bezos (Reuters) Company: Amazon Net Worth: $117.2 B Position In Feb 2020: #1 While the Amazon founder and CEO has faced a fair bit of media backlash, his workers have mobilised at company centres in New York, protesting against the e-commerce giantâs failure to address and mobilise against the spread of COVID-19 amongst an infected workplace. In what some have dubbed a PR move, Bezos has since donated $100 million to US food banks, while on the sheets, things look seriously skewed. The Quarantine Economy â Jeff Bezos is the only billionaire out of the top 20 whose wealth has increased this year. pic.twitter.com/HzAlaa7skW â Robert Frank (@robtfrank) March 30, 2020 In a world where pretty much every company has drawn blanks, the worldâs richest man continues to get, well⦠richer. No big surprise there - although Bezos did suffer a considerable 7% drop in his net worth in February. Bill Gates © Reuters Company: Microsoft Net Worth: $99.5 B Position In Feb 2020: #3 âI never lived through anything this dramatic,â Gates admitted last Friday during a âDaily Homeroomâ live-streamed chat with Sal Khan, founder of Khan Academy. The Microsoft co-founder was already focused on attacking healthcare and education deficits in the world with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. By late March, Microsoftâs stock tanked by around 13% - though Gates was fine owing to profits of just under $800 million in January. âThe normal things I do â talking about polio eradication, going into meetings at the foundation, traveling to meet with scientists â thatâs all gone. When I wake up in the morning, I think, âIs this a nightmare?,â questioned Gates - although waking up in a $66 million mansion isnât too nightmarish, at least on a personal level. Regardless of the dire circumstances, Gates seems to stick to his usual positive self, sharing a message of hope with the world. âWeâre all in this together, even on a global basis,â he reminds us. âIâm seeing many people rise to the occasion to help out others or to use their skills to try and bring this to an end.â Bernard Arnault © Reuters Company: LVMH Net Worth: $85.2 B Position In Feb 2020: #2 Europeâs richest man hasnât been sitting down during the crisis - even before gaining $11 Billion as stocks surged on President Trumpâs commitment to a stimulus package, the French luxury goods titan was busy financing the delivery of millions of medical masks to France from Chinese suppliers and converting Dior perfume factories outside Orleans into hand sanitizer manufacturing units. While the numbers for early April seem tilted in Arnaultâs favour, the fact remains that post his companyâs takeover of American luxury jewelry brand Tiffany & Co., the CEO very briefly touched Jeff Bezosâ coveted worldâs richest status with a near-$400 million boost in January, which plummeted in February and early March, sending him back to 3rd place. While the man behind Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior and more has several properties around the world, itâs likely that heâs currently holed up in his upmarket Paris residence, surrounded by one of the most expensive collections of art in the world. Warren Buffet © Reuters Company: Berkshire Hathaway Net Worth: $70.5 B Position In Feb 2020: #4 The 90-year old mega-investor seems to be in relatively cheery spirits during the lockdown - only recently shifting to working from home instead of the firmâs headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska. Known for his shrewd money making decisions, Buffetâs strategy throughout the spread of coronavirus is to keep cool and focus on investments projected to recover healthily after predicted lockdown periods. This trend has continued for quite a while now - he aggressively targeted the airline industryâs plummeting share prices back in early March after losing $233 million in January - a move that historically saw massive dividends during the last major US airline crash after 9/11. All things considered however, Buffet seems content to wait it out and calculate the best course of action, while sipping on his favourite beverage at home. âWell, Iâm drinking a little more Coca-Cola, actually. That seems to ward off everything else in life,â Buffett joked in a Yahoo Finance interview - referring to the drink company that he invested $1 billion in back in 1988. Larry Elison © Wikimedia Company: Oracle Net Worth: $61.8 B Position In Feb 2020: #6 Co-founder of tech giant Oracle, Elison made himself the worldâs fifth richest man by selling perhaps the most futureproof commodity ever created by the human race - data. While the secretive ex-CEO usually steered far away from interviews, even he came out of his shell following a 11% slash to Oracleâs stock value back in early March. Come out he certainly did - Elison has since taken the fight against COVID-19 very seriously, pretty much walking up to the White House and offering to develop a nationwide two-way system to help track and inform doctors, patients and medical authorities in real-time. Unsurprisingly, the President anecdotally asked, âHow much?â Elisonâs reply? âFor free.â Elison might have mixed feeling about corporate success these days however - while his ranking has moved up the ladder since 2019, heâs also sustained a mammoth $3.5 billion loss since then. Michael Bloomberg © Reuters Company: Bloomberg LP Net Worth: $57.4 B Position In Feb 2020: #14 The worldâs single most powerful media mogul certainly had one hell of a checklist coming into 2020 - pumping in an astounding $875 million (at least) on a presidential campaign that crashed and burned in less than three months - not exactly the kind of thoughts you want to mull over when stuck in an empty mansion for weeks. As New York Cityâs former mayor, Bloomberg also took out a $75 million cheque addressed to the cityâs various nonprofits in an attempt to help the cityâs worsening COVID crisis, while another $40 million was spent on Bloomberg Philantrophiesâ efforts in third world countries. Amancio Ortega © Reuters Company: Inditex Net Worth: $57.4 B Position In Feb 2020: #5 Founder of Inditex, which owns major fashion brands such as Zara, the Spanish textile tycoon saw major downfall during the early coronavirus stage for similar reasons to the aforementioned Bernard Arnault, as wary consumers shied away from shopping malls and independent stores. This burned a hole in Ortegaâs pocket to the tune of $12.8 billion as 3,785 stores around the world shut down. Admittedly however, Inditex has done its part by donating hundreds of thousands of facemasks to medical institutions as well as offering to use its manufacturing centres to produce scrubs and other hospital gear useful to doctors treating and diagnosing COVID-19 patients. As the company itself continues to function on life support, Ortega continues to support Spain, which closely follows Italy in the level of COVID-19 spread - his last donation facilitated about $76 million towards the cause of ventilators and other hospital equipment to help save Spanish patients. Mark Zuckerberg © Reuters Company: Facebook Net Worth: $57.3 B Position In Feb 2020: #7 If youâre surprised to see Zuckerberg so far down this list, you wonât be the only one. The youngest man in the top 10 has gone as far as 4th place back in 2018, neck and neck with Warren buffet at the time, whoâs nearly three times older than the plucky Harvard dropout. Today paints a much darker picture - the Facebook founder has since been hit relentlessly by the effects of COVID-19, losing around $4.1 billion in just the first week of March. He has, however, erberg donated $25 million to Bill Gates to assist in his healthcare research projects, while setting aside another $100 million grant to help support local journalism, which has experienced major crashes in ad revenue since the outbreak. Steve Ballmer © Reuters Company: Microsoft Net Worth: $56.7 B Position In Feb 2020: #12 Ex-Microsoft CEO and current owner of the LA Clippers NBA team, Ballmerâs ties to Microsoft stock resulted in a massive $5.6 billion drain as the outbreak hit critical status in early March. After donating $25 million to various philanthropic causes, Ballmer and his wife Connie have since chipped in an additional million to support local community colleges, while an undisclosed amount is under talks to help speed up testing and development of a new vaccine for the virus. Jim Walton © Reuters Company: Walmart Net Worth: $53.5 B Position In Feb 2020: #15 Part of one of the most wealthy and widespread family-owned companies in America, Walmartâs heir-apparent Jim Walton has been one of the few corporate leaders to benefit from the coronavirus, with panic-buying at Walmart stores across the US boosting the net values of Jim and his siblings Alice and Rob Walton by an additional $10 billion. Taking note of this windfall, the company has decided to stand by its employees through various schemes - by either raising the hourly wage by $2, hiring 150,000 temp workers, providing $550 million in the form of bonuses and waiving rent for Walmart-leased businesses such as nail salons and restaurants. Along with this, the company has also chipped in $25 million to external charities with a focus on food and school meal programmes. Competition never gets old - especially at the top. 13. When stuck at home, you need to keep yourself going no matter how hard boredom hits. Some people cope with movies and TV shows, I cope with playing games. Most of the time you will find me playing games as it is required by my job but is also something I'm deeply passionate about. Gaming keeps my brain stimulated and is the perfect source of entertainment/distraction when you need it most. While being stuck in quarantine, I've been playing some heavy-duty games like Call of Duty Warzone, Doom Eternal and other intense games. However, you can't keep playing these games all day as it can get exhausting and eventually raise your blood pressure level. However, a new game called Animal Crossing: New Horizons launched last week for the Nintendo Switch. It is a sandbox relaxing game where you live a virtual life by building your own island, cutting trees, go fishing or planting flowers. It was my first time playing an Animal Crossing game but I've played similar sandbox games in the past like Minecraft, Stardew Valley and Farming Simulator. The game has been my saviour during the lockdown simply because it lets me do things I cannot do in my real life. © MensXP Animal Crossing enabled me to bond with friends using its in-game postal service and let me build a world I felt was beautiful and chaotic at the same time. The game gave me a purpose where I had to go collect fruits from my farms, catch fish to sell and cut wood to build tools. I even have a daily routine in the game; something most people tend to struggle with when stuck at home. Having a daily routine in the game let me focus on my goals and kept me entertained at the same time. To some, these may sound like chores but for me, it sounded like something that will keep me busy most of the day. AC: New Horizons offers me an escape from the real world that is currently filled with bitter news. It is a way for me to interact with my friends daily while doing activities together. In the game, we have the ability to visit other people's island and it is always exciting to see what others are doing. Animal Crossing merely imitates life, just on a virtual level. © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla You start off with a tent on the island and you can gradually build a house by taking out a loan, just like real life. By collecting fruit, fish, bugs, fossils and trees, you can pay off your loan easily and then upgrade your house with another loan. Speaking of houses, the game also lets you decorate interiors with objects, paintings and furniture to create the perfect abode for yourself. The game has very basic objectives like building bridges, organise a pop concert, getting new neighbours, catch bugs, go fishing, chop wood and the only time you may face problems is when encountering a tarantula or a wasp. Animal Crossing does not ask too much out of you and doesn't feel like a game you will ever get tired of. © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla While I understand not everyone owns a Nintendo Switch or can get their hands on one right now, there are similar games that offer a similar experience. One of the all-time favourite games Stardew Valley is available on both iOS and Android. It is very similar to Animal Crossing where you have to farm fruits and vegetables, contribute to the town with donations and even get married to your desired partner. Stardew Valley is the perfect sandbox game that comes closes to delivering a similar experience as Animal Crossing. The game is a one-time purchase and does not come with any micro-transactions that can hinder your progress. Similarly, Minecraft is another sandbox game that is available for mobile where you can build your own town on a deserted island. © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla If you've been bored to death during this lockdown, a game like Animal Crossing or Stardew Valley can be your saviour. It encourages living a virtual life with relaxing music and daily tasks that are not only rewarding but addicting, as it helps you in building a better home for you and your friends. 14. Indian cricketers have always been at the forefront of Indiaâs sartorial and stylistic zeitgeist, whether you talk of the â70s, the â80s, the â90s, the 2000s or the last two decades. Of course, the dominant style went through a number of changes, and evolution. However, something that did not change was the manner in which the general masses have praised and worshipped our cricketing heroes, for both, their performances on the field, or the cult statuses they had made using their personas, off the field. © Instagram/rahulkl In the current pantheon, there are a number of cricketers who have made ungodly numbers of fans using not just their ability and talent to play the game, but also due to their avant garde sense of style, and eccentric fashion choices. Of course, Hardik Pandya, and his zany choices take the cake, but KL Rahul, is not far behind. © Instagram/rahulkl Scroll through his Instagram profile, and youâll see him wearing some of the best luxury brands out there - Gucci, Balenciaga, Fendi, Balmain - stuff that simply oozes style. © Instagram/rahulkl © Instagram/rahulkl © Instagram/rahulkl With that being said, it's not just high end luxury pieces that make KL so stylish. His affinity to wear, and his ability to mesmerisingly pull off homegrown brands is something that a number of celebrities actually struggle with. © Instagram/rahulkl And even if we keep aside the dichotomy of home grown brands & luxury brands, we simply cannot ignore the panache with which KL carries his outfits. © Instagram/rahulkl Of course, like most millennials, he simply loves athleisure and goes with whatever direction athleisure takes in any given year. From properly fitting, and structured jackets, to baggy silhouettes and conspicuous colours, he has experimented with everything that athleisure has to offer. And can we say, that he simply aces them? © Instagram/rahulkl © Instagram/rahulkl © Instagram/rahulkl With that being said, when it comes to ditching the jeans and going for a suit, KL Rahul known how to dress up with elegance. © Instagram/rahulkl © MensXP Grooming wise as well, KL has always been sorted. He is not someone who experiments a lot with his hair, or beard style. Having said that, he also isnât someone who is prudish and does not try out new things at all. © Instagram/rahulkl This phase of his, where he tried to don the cornrow, shows that he is open to experimenting. © Instagram/rahulkl KL knows that he has the face structure that can carry off most beard styles. He perhaps also realises that a beard is something that he should always sport, considering that it is actually his beard that gives him the chocolate boy image that we have come to envy. © Instagram/rahulkl Even in his earlier photos, you can see that he had sported some sort of a facial hair that would add character to his face. As for his hairstyle, even back in 2013, he had that flare in him that made him go for a hard part with an otherwise sombre hairstyle. © Instagram/rahulkl © Instagram/rahulkl © Instagram/rahulkl When we compare his older photos with his current ones, we see that a shorter beard does not really do much for him, given that he has a roundish face. With a longer beard, his face looks a lot sharper and leaner. © Instagram/rahulkl © Instagram/rahulkl All in all, KL Rahulâs sense of style has remained pretty much the same, in terms of sensibilities. Of course, his choices of clothes and hair and beard styles has evolved through the years. © Instagram/rahulkl © MensXP However, his eccentricities, his nuances and the underlying sensibitlities that make him so stylish are still the same. 17. Sony has been silent about the PlayStation 5 ever since the logo of the console was confirmed at CES earlier this year. While Sony has made some information available about the console, we didnât know much about the PS 5 until today. New information comes from a major retailer in the United States, who is an important partner for Sony when it comes to offline sales. Information coming from GameStop is probably the most concrete details weâve heard about the console yet. © LetsGoDigital GameStop put up a placeholder landing page for the PlayStation 5 and the page showed off some details that we were already aware of via various interviews and events along with some information that was not available previously. A few of the features GameStop mentions include Full 8K TV supportCustom 8-core AMD chipset 3D Audio Built-for-purpose SSD storage/Backwards compatibility with PS4 games/PSVR hardware Ray tracing capabilitiesWhile we know some of these details from previous interviews and events, GameStop goes into detail about the custom AMD chipper the console will be using. In comparison to the PlayStation 4, the PS5 will probably be a huge leap in processing power and graphical prowess. To put things into perspective, the Xbox Series X is already confirmed to achieve up to 12 TeraFlops and Sony is expected to have the same level of performance if not better. © Reddit GameStop also confirmed that the Dualshock 5 will have haptic feedback technology and adaptive triggers that will let you feel in-game physics such as resistance; for example, when braking in racing games. In terms of design, weâve already seen leaked pictures of the controller and it doesnât look much different than the PlayStation 4 apart from minor changes. We also reported that Sony is looking to add biometric sensors as an accessory that can sense fear and other biometrics data which can be used to enhance your gaming experience. © Reddit In terms of the software experience, GameStop details that the menu will allow players to "see what is happening in a game without even booting it up." 18. Bollywood music is going through a phase where every song has a remix and none of the remixes are better than the original ones. So, all the songs that you used to dance on at weddings and other occasions now have their own remixes, and listening to them will only make you miss the original song more and more. Not only Bollywood songs but even Punjabi songs that arenât even old yet have new versions and itâs only confusing us. © Dharma Productions Now, this also makes us to think that the song producers, at large, donât have any creativity left in them anymore to make better songs or maybe they are just plain lazy. However, most of the original songs havenât even faded from our memories and we still enjoy listening to them. Here is a list of six Bollywood remixes that have ruined the original version for us forever: 1. Sauda Khara Khara This song is a DJâs favourite and is played at almost all wedding functions and honestly, even if they didnât make a new version weâd be happily listening to the original song. The original is Sukhbirâs version and makes people want to dance on its beats. A remix was recently seen in the film Good Newwz starring Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Kiara Advani, and Diljit Dosanjh. Hereâs the original version- 2. Dus Bahane Have you heard âDus Bahane 2.0â from Baaghi 3? If you havenât, just to preserve the memory of the old version, donât listen to it. The original version is perfectly fine and no one needs the remix version of Dus Bahane to ruin it. Hereâs the original version of the song- 3. Love Aaj Kal Imtiaz Ali recycled his own film with the same songs, worse storyline and different actors. Viewers didnât see any need to murder the original film and its songs. From ruining the song Dooriyan for us to copy-pasting the song Twist, we just didnât need this at all. Hereâs the original version of the song- 4. Ek Toh Kum Zindagani We canât get over Rekhaâs sass in the song and extraordinary beats that made everyone dance. The new version has Nora Fatehi and we just didnât need a remix for this one. Hereâs the original version of the song- 5. O Saki Saki Nora Fatehiâs dance moves are a delight to look at in the new version but if you listen to the song without the video, itâs not as good as the original one. This song just didnât need a new version and we are just going to listen to the original one happily! Hereâs the original version of the song- 6. Muqabla The remake of this song just breaks my heart but looking at Prabhu Deva dancing again is a little consolation. However, the original songâs lyrics and its vibe cannot be compared to the new one as itâs out of the world! Hereâs the original version of the song- View the full article
  19. With rumours surfacing over the last few months regarding a revisit to the most beloved sitcom of all time, fans were certainly itching to get something more to watch than their 11th rerun of Friends. Fortunately for them, their wish has been granted. Nearly 16 years after the last episode aired, HBO has decided to record an unscripted special as a lead-up to the networkâs streaming platform debut with HBO Max, later this May. Actress Courtney Cox, who played the beloved role of Monica for 10 seasons, shared this fun image on her Instagram, announcing the special. View this post on InstagramItâs happening... @hbomax @jenniferaniston @lisakudrow @mleblanc @mattyperry4 @_schwim_A post shared by (@courteneycoxofficial) Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry have all signed up already and will reunite at the original Friends soundstage, Stage 24, on the Warner Bros. Studio lot in Burbank. According to Variety, the showrunners will receive at least $2.5 million for being a part of the special. Showrunners Martha Kaufman and David Crane will also be executive producing the special, as Hollywood production heavyweight Ben Winston heads for the directorâs chair. Friends, which traded hands between Netflix and HBO late last year, has seen sales in physical and digital versions of the show âtripleâ as it went off streaming platforms, showing without a doubt that the series is still one of the best money makers in TV. Along with the special, HBO Max plans to release every episode of the series for viewing on the platform, and to access all of this goodness, itâll cost you roughly $15, which amounts to just under Rs 1,100 a month. Not exactly cheap, but weâre sure that diehard fans will go ahead regardless. âGuess you could call this the one where they all got back together â we are reuniting with David, Jennifer, Courteney, Matt, Lisa, and Matthew for an HBO Max special that will be programmed alongside the entire âFriendsâ library,â said Kevin Reilly, chief content officer at HBO Max and president of TBS, TNT, and truTV, in a statement. âI became aware of âFriendsâ when it was in the very early stages of development and then had the opportunity to work on the series many years later and have delighted in seeing it catch on with viewers generation after generation. It taps into an era when friends â and audiences â gathered together in real time and we think this reunion special will capture that spirit, uniting original and new fans.â View the full article

  21. Deepika Padukoneâs much-talked-about movie Chhapaak has finally hit the screens today and her husband Ranveer Singh is all praises for his talented wife's stellar performance as Malti in the movie. Even before its release, Chhapaak generated a lot of buzz and just the trailer alone left everyone in awe of Deepika and her incredible acting. Ranveer, recently, took to social media after watching Chhapaak and joined the chorus of people hailing Deepika. In his post, Ranveer did not hold back from being emotional in praising his wife and stated how Deepikaâs performance moved him completely. He took to Instagram to write a long, heartfelt note for Deepika and director Meghna Gulzar. Praising Meghna, he wrote, âMeghna, your film gives the audience hope and courage. It shows you the best and worst of humanity in a kaleidoscopic cinematic spectrum. It elucidates a subject that weâve only ever heard of but never really fully understood. It offers a definitive and insightful deep-dive into the horrific gamut of acid violence. The story shakes you to your core and then lifts you heroically until your emotions soar. Talvar, Raazi and now Chhapaak..may I say Bravo!â He then went on to praise Deepika for the strength that she displayed for her role as Malti. It could not have been easy, in any way, for Deepika to play the role of an acid attack victim on the big screen, emotionally and physically, and Ranveer acknowledged his wife's efforts to create this masterpiece. He wrote, âMy baby. Iâve witnessed you toil relentlessly to create this special piece of work. Youâve been an engine behind the project, and are the soul of the film. This is the most important instalment in your body of work. You laboured with such honesty in intent and action. You dug deep and fought through your challenges, faced your fears, overcame your struggles and today you and your team stand triumphant as the creators of one of the films of our times. Your performance is way more than everything I thought it could and would be. Itâs moved me, stirred me and stayed with me. You blended strength with vulnerability and lent dignity to an immensely complex portrayal in such a fine manner that Iâm simply awestruck at your craft. It's staggering and astonishing what youâve achieved with Malti. A glowing gem in your repertoire. I love you, baby. Iâve never been more proud of you. @deepikapadukone #chhapaakâ added Ranveer.
