  1. Technology, it's a funny thing really. While it solves the purpose of making the lives of humankind a lot easier than it used to be before, it has also opened new ways for people to embarrass themselves in public. Take our guy Daniel in this video, for instance. The man was bored to death in the middle of what looks like an official conference call and he decided to 'take care of himself' while the rest of the people went on talking about “consumer spending”. He thought he turned off his web-cam.pic.twitter.com/Db82LOS4c4 — Mr. Alabi of Lagos (@the_Lawrenz) May 29, 2020 A man who knows his needs, Daniel decided to bring the tools of his trade from his bathroom - a big bottle of lubricating lotion and a big box of tissues and started prepping to 'flick his bean'. The only problem was that he forgot to turn his laptop camera off before getting on with it, unintentionally (hopefully), putting his show on display for the rest of the staffers to marvel at. His colleague Bennet R (bottom left) knew what was about to go down as soon as he saw the bottle of lotion on Daniel's desk, the expression on his face was of concern, not embarrassment. He wouldn't want to be in the poor, horny man's place. My man knew what was up once he saw the toolspic.twitter.com/uGUPUGmrJk — Obinna (@Victor_oe) May 29, 2020 Sophia (centre left) just wanted to be a part of the official meeting and didn't sign up for the prime-time show. She warned Daniel that his camera was on, but her cry fell on deaf ears. As our main guy unzipped his trousers, Chris (top middle), the cat guy, felt like it was too good to watch alone and invited someone off-camera to become a part of his journey. But at the same time, he did his best to save Daniel from 'poaching his egg' in front of his boss and kept calling him. My mans said aye come look at this shitpic.twitter.com/vs1mYaNloa — slayer joe(@slayer_joe_ver) May 29, 2020 Mika (centre), with her mug of beverage, wanted to know how things would turn out and observed silently before things got really real! pic.twitter.com/PVrgLiouGw — Fleshly Gripes (@FellzWargo) May 29, 2020 Poor Xelene (bottom centre) wasn't ready for it. After a screeching “oh my god” she felt that running away from the scene of the crime would rid her of what she'd just witnessed. I wonder if it did... Gooone gal pic.twitter.com/Bq2WFfA0VO — Mumbler100 ð ð¤ð¾ (@MumblerAREA) May 29, 2020 Don't know if Michael K's (top right) screen froze or he did. With a hand covering his mouth, the man didn't move even an inch as Daniel 'cuffed his carrot'. Sean (centre right) was prepared for the meeting with his stats and numbers and had answers to everything that was about to happen during that conference, or at least that's what he thought. As soon as he saw what Daniel was up to, he jumped out of his seat and moved way back. Unfortunately, that's one problem social distancing won't help you with. And woman in-charge Chanel (bottom-right), quickly realised that there are certain things that don't fall under her jurisdiction. "Daniel??!!" pic.twitter.com/whQOEkqOa8 — Mumbler100 ð ð¤ð¾ (@MumblerAREA) May 29, 2020 Well, I am running out of ways to tell you that Daniel masturbated in front of his entire office and one of his best friends/colleagues decided to share their scarring experience with the whole world. And now that we have seen it as well, we don't really know how to get over it. And now we are both sad and depressed. *melancholy music* Note: The authenticity of this video is yet to be verified. 2. Xiaomi's new MIUI 12 was announced just a couple of days back. The new user interface seems to be a lot more refined and minimal compared to what we have right now on the existing version of MIUI. It also has a ton of new features that we're looking to forward to use once it arrives in India. However, a handful of users seem to have got their hands on the new software. One user, in particular, who flashed the new UI on his Xiaomi phone, pointed out how closely it "resembles" Apple's iOS. Here, check it out - iOS 13 | MIUI 12 .. Well Done Xiaomi pic.twitter.com/zP7WwAOPoS â TechDroider (@techdroider) April 28, 2020 As you can see, the above image compares Apple's Control Center to Xiaomi's new MIUI12's Control Center. Yeah, they even named it Control Center and the resemblance is uncanny. If you set the same wallpaper on both phones, as he did for the image, it looks very similar. In addition to the Control Center, a lot of other MIUI 12 elements look the same. The navigation gesture bar, for instance, looks identical. Even the gesture animations look identical for you when launch/ exit an app. Check it out - Animation - MIUI 12 vs iOS 13 https://t.co/9CeZ4V0c9C pic.twitter.com/pUVZdxpy0M â TechDroider (@techdroider) April 29, 2020 You'll find a lot of other such examples on his Twitter page, so check them out if you're really interested. Obviously, we're not here to say that Xiaomi has copied the UI. However, people are calling out Xiaomi for their new UI on Twitter. Here, check it out - Well done "copying" Xiaomi. â Anmol Raj ⪠(@ANM0Lraj) April 28, 2020 Could've called it something else They even named it Control Center. â Arvind (@thearvindrana) April 28, 2020 Some people find it better? Is it just me? Or does MIUI look better? â Aditya Reddy (@AdityaR14682643) April 28, 2020 Like, how? Is it just me? Or does MIUI look better? â Aditya Reddy (@AdityaR14682643) April 28, 2020Anyway, we haven't had the chance to use MIUI 12 just yet. But it certainly looks like Xiaomi has taken a lot of influence from Apple's iOS. This, by the way, isn't the first time Xiaomi has found itself under the spotlight for copying. Xiaomi was also called out for copying the images and other marketing material from Apple for Mi 8 back in the day. View the full article
  3. Jio has announced that it's extending the incoming call validity for all subscribers during the ongoing COVID-19 lockdown. This move comes after other major telecom operators extended their incoming call validity too. So now, all the major telecom operators in India including Jio, BSNL, Airtel and Vodafone have extended their incoming call validity. This means the subscribers will continue to receive at least the incoming calls if they're unable to recharge their numbers because of the lockdown. Unlike a lot of us, who currently recharge our phones online, a huge chunk of people still rely on physical stores. And since the entire country is under lockdown and it's difficult for people to recharge their numbers, this move will certainly make things better. © Reuters That being said, Airtel and Vodafone are only offering the validity extension to low-income subscribers. But Jio and BSNL are extending the same for all their subscribers, which is the right thing to do. In case you're wondering, Airtel in particular, is offering incoming calls to over 30 million low-income subscribers on the basis of average revenue per user (ARPU). Vodafone, on the other hand, is offering the same to only the people who're using feature phones. Only BSNL and Jio have decided to extend it for all their users. © Reuters Recently, Jio also introduced a way to allow everyone to earn commission while recharging for others. It's very simple and anyone can do it by installing an app. Source: Gadgets360 View the full article
  4. The Professor from Money Heist is obviously one of the most handsome characters weâve seen on TV in a long time and I have been crushing over this man like anything. His beard gives his that rugged and a raw appeal which has been appealing to both men and women alike. Just yesterday, it was Ayushmann Khurrana who expressed that he wants to play the role of Professor in the Bollywood remake of Money Heist. Now, after Kartik Aaryan shared his bearded look on Instagram, people have started comparing him with The Professor. View this post on InstagramKaise shave kar dun yaar ? In an interview with PTI, Alvaro said, âI am sending all my love from here. All the strength and courage I can send through this confinement and lockdown. I hope the show entertains you a little bit.â His character that has been one of the main reasons that people have started watching the show and the actor makes sure that he keeps the character relatable and engaging. I analyze the character from inside and then add gestures to the physicality that, I think, goes along with the character. For the role of The Professor, I inspired myself from the superhero universe. I find his glasses to be like a mask. I found a very specific way of doing it in this double movement. I studied a lot to include this in the character,â he added in the interview. If you have watched all the seasons just like me, you would agree with the fact that you want to see season 5 as soon as possible. Till then, if a Bollywood version is made, who do you think can play the role easily? View the full article
  5. Amid the Coronavirus outbreak and the lockdown extension, all we need to do is stay at home to fight against the deadly virus. The Coronavirus has infected over 12,000 people and have claimed the lives of around 415 people so far. The concept of staying at home is the only brainchild behind flattening the curve of the Coronavirus outbreak. In yet another long-distance lockdown drive, the parents of a 39-year-old decorated Indian Army officer and Shaurya Chakra winner, were forced to travel a distance of more than 2,600 km between Amritsar and Bengaluru by road to perform the last rites of their son. 8. We are currently living through one of the most turbulent times in history. A once-in-a-century pandemic has a grip on all of us. Whatever the outcome, come the end of the year, few of us are going to be the same again. We will have to sacrifice our personal freedoms, and some of us much more. Like you, I'm worried about my family, my friends and neighbours. I'm watching the news, scrolling through social media and consuming articles from scientists, scholars and doctors. The news coming out of Italy is truly heartbreaking. Doctors and nurses have to make life and death decisions daily as they wage war with the virus. Those of us in the UK and the USA are nervously watching the graphs climb in lockstep of Italy from just a few weeks ago. It would be easy to succumb to fear and withdraw completely. But as community leaders, we cannot. Let us take some inspiration from the brave people of Italy who have suffered much with an overstretched health care system and enforced quarantine yet still sing from their apartments in a display of resolve. In a time where we have to remain apart, we must come together. We have to keep showing up and leading. We must focus on what we still have and not what is being taken away. Now more than ever, we are needed to keep the world connected. To bring comfort; to support and to love each other. This year is going to test every one of us. But whatever comes our way, I know that we are stronger together. "Their faithful and zealous comradeship would almost between night and morning clear the path of progress and banish from all our lives the fear which already darkens the sunlight to hundreds of millions of men." Winston Churchill

  11. Since Italy is under complete lock-down because of coronavirus, people are staying united by coming out to their balconies and singing and playing instruments with their neighbours. It's one of the most heart-warming things ever and, of course, those videos went viral because people loved the solidarity among everyone during this global crisis. Well, even desi people tried to recreate that but turns out, imitation may not be the sincerest form of flattery. A video of an apartment building from sec-28, Gurgaon is going around on Twitter and people find it just straight up cringey. Basically, in the video, residents came out to their balconies to sing the Gayatri Mantra and Hum Honge Kamyaab. While all the videos from Italy seemed very natural, the Gurgaon video shows a few women standing at the gate of the society with mics and singing. Italy scenes in Gurgaon! 12. Amid the coronavirus outbreak, the number of affected cases in our country is increasing every day. The preventive measures to tackle this deadly virus include washing hands regularly, using hand sanitizers if outside and wearing face masks. In the current situation, face masks and hand sanitisers have perhaps become some of the most coveted properties that people can currently own. And now there is a dismal shortage in the market for all these products. © BCCL The government is constantly making efforts to contain the outbreak of the virus. However, one state has already found a novel solution to counter the growing concern of mask shortage. 14. Over the years, we've seen some of the worst crimes committed against food, from people dipping their pizzas in chai,to putting gulab jamun on pizzas. Since Italians have been offended enough, this time, someone is coming for one of the most beloved Indian snacks ever. Yes, it's time for another bizarre food combination no one asked for. With the President of the United States visiting India, everyone obviously wants to showcase everything good about the country. © Reuters When Donald Trump and First Lady Melania visited Sabarmati Ashram, someone decided to get a little creative - too creative - with the menu for the tea. The menu went somewhat viral just because of how unappetizing, and even downright offensive it was. Nominee for worst menu in history. Tasteless. pic.twitter.com/yjquBB9zyN â Aakar Patel (@Aakar__Patel) February 24, 2020 Tasteless, literally. There's one item way worse than the others, though. Who in their right mind would mess with the poor little samosa like that? Samosa has aloo, that is it. Chowmein samosa can also stay, but it's on thin ice. But, broccoli? Nope, not acceptable. No one is eating a samosa because they're trying to be 'healthy', why is someone trying to sneak in extra veggies in a freaking samosa? People are offended on behalf of samosas everywhere, and rightly so. No deal is coming out of this. I doubt this unappetizing menu will prompt anyone into giving any kind of deal to India. #broccolisamosa ð¤¦ââï¸ pic.twitter.com/XhW6oX0Or8 â Shruti Rajagopalan (@srajagopalan) February 24, 2020 Exactly. "Bollywood can't do horror movies" - this is one of the biggest topics of discussion every time a Bollywood horror movie comes out and well, looks like this is going to be upheld for the time being as Vicky Kaushal's Bhoot â Part One: The Haunted Ship seems to have failed to impress people, oh well, except for the actor's fans, of course. While Vicky Kaushal is one of the top, most critically-acclaimed actor right now, apparently, he missed the mark with this one. Full props for experimenting with a new genre, though. 16. Ayushmann Khurrana is the only man who has never let us down with his movies, and it's safe to assume he never will. The guy gives back-to-back hits, a great performance after another, and hopefully, his streak will continue throughout his career. His latest release is no different; it's a shubh mangal day for Ayushmann as his movie Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan is already being considered a hit online. That's what happens when you're unproblematic and do incredible movies, everyone should take notes, tbh. As everyone knows, the plot of the movie is about same-*** marriages and it can be a tricky topic to approach since it can get problematic very quickly, if not portrayed well. But, going by the reviews, looks like director Hitesh Kewalya managed to perfectly bring a romance to life and gave an important message about family and love. #ShubhMangalZyaadaSaavdhan the steak continues for @ayushmannk he has tat Midas touch, brilliant acting n story captures today's issue n tackles it,hats off to everyone #ShubhMangalZyadaSavdhaan is a hit, #ayushmanbhava Another feather in his success. pic.twitter.com/PwftsIpG7o â ZeA (@nitecrawlerz) February 21, 2020Isn't that a good thing? #ShubhMangalZyadaSaavdhan interval: I am dead laughing . â badal: the cloud ï¸ (@badal_bnftv) February 21, 2020That's saying a lot. .@ayushmannk #ShubhMangalZyadaSaavdhan is fantastic so far. 17. Mangal Pandey - history will tell you about the many tales of bravery this soldier inspired, before turning into a freedom fighter and launching Indiaâs independence struggle. Cut to 2020 and his namesake is putting it all to shame by failing to even seem like a decent human being. Recently, Bihar Health Minister Mangal Pandey called for the suspension of a police officer on duty, simply because the officer failed to recognise him and made the 'mistake' of stopping him from accessing a VIP-only area. © Twitter The incident took place at the foundation stone laying ceremony of a hospital in Biharâs Siwan district, where the minister has been recorded on video asking why officers who donât even recognise ministers have been put on duty. He then went on and added that the officer should be suspended for daring to stop a minister. Listen to his exact words here: #WATCH Bihar Health Minister Mangal Pandey asks for suspension of a police officer who fails to recognise the minister; The police officer was deputed for security at the foundation stone laying ceremony of a hospital in Siwan yesterday. pic.twitter.com/gsG71WwsdD â ANI (@ANI) February 15, 2020 The on-duty officer has been identified as Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Ganesh Chauhan, who was put on security duties at the ceremony and had to overlook access to a VIP-only area that led to the stage. © Twitter Having failed to recognise the minister, ASI Chauhan tried to stop him and had to bear the brunt of his mistaken entitlement and âcelebrityâ tantrums. Talk about being drunk on power that is probably handed to him by the likes of ASI Chauhan whom Pandey ji so shamelessly rebuked in public. It also needs reminding that this is the same dimwit who had the audacity to ask for India-Pakistan World Cup match score during a meeting being held for growing encephalitis death in Bihar in 2019. Sure enough, people are rightly miffed and want to see this minister suspended now, instead. 18. We are so inspired by Bollywood movies that some of us actually implement the stunts, used in the film, in real life too just for the entertainment sake. Recently, in an appalling incident, a man in Delhi tried to escape the traffic cops by dragging a police constable on his carâs bonnet for two kilometers. According to news reports, the traffic cops were checking papers of the vehicle at Nangloi Chowk when the accusedâs car tried to evade them. The police constable indicated the accused to stop the car but he didnât comply. Subsequently, in a bid to stop the alleged traffic violator, the constable had to jump atop the carâs bonnet which didnât prove to be a good decision. This two-month-old video of the terrible incident is currently doing the rounds on the internet and has gone viral. 20. Panga, which marks director Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari's third Bollywood outing post two critically-acclaimed ventures, Nil Battey Sannata and Bareilly Ki Barfi, revolves around Kangana Ranautâs character Jaya Nigam, a mother who is all set to make a comeback on the Kabaddi field after 7 years. Netizens, who have already caught a show of the film, have flooded social media sharing their views and expressing how much they loved the movie. © Fox Star Studios The audience's verdict is in, and they have praised Kangana and the entire cast for a sweet and simple story that would encourage every mother to relive her passions and dreams that she sacrificed for marriage and motherhood.
