  1. Karan Johar certainly knows how to make a fashion statement wherever he goes. He knows the brands he wears pretty well and is always seen from head-to-toe wearing some zany pieces from some high-end luxury brands. There was an instance when he was seen carrying a playful backpack from Louis Vuitton, the cost of which left us stunned. © Instagram/Karan Johar © Viral Bhayani This isn't the only time when Karan was seen in extravagant pieces. Be it his airport looks or red carpet game, he usually turns up in attention-grabbing ensembles, accessories and sneakers. Even his casual outing looks cannot be missed. Case in point, his recent casual appearance, when he was seen wearing an insane pair of sneakers, something that we've literally never seen a celebrity sport before. Take a look. © Nike Karan is seen wearing Nike's Offline Black Menta shoes. These shoes have flashy performance silhouette and the style gets all the attention for its understated comfort. The beaded insoles infused in this style massage the feet while walking. Furthermore the padded upper comes with soft, bootie-like construction. Apart from that, these shoes let the feet breathe since these are open from the back. © Nike While we have always seen Karan wear such fashionable items with a hefty price tag, surprisingly, these shoes are worth only Rs 9,995. This sounds like a good deal, considering that most of the things he owns are above a lakh. © Viral Bhayani His outfit too is super impressive. The oversized Drew hoodie has become some sort of fashion staple in B-town. Karan's choice of going for a rather oversized hoodie adds to the athleisure style he is trying to pull here. The way he has paired the hoodie is also quite interesting. The oversized joggers, seem to be a perfect way to make the outfit scream fashion. Even Karan's mask is not as simple. The quirky camouflage print, in the vibrant colour palette, is blending well with his look. The shoes are no doubt a statement piece, despite being so affordable. All the elements of his outfit, make one thing pretty explicit is the fact that the man is all about decking up in some dope silhouettes. View the full article

Producer Ishari K Ganesh of Vels Film International is quite upbeat about the project. The journey continues @VelsIntl #PositiveVibes #SilambarasanTR47 — Gauthamvasudevmenon (@menongautham) January 28, 2021 However, it is not clear yet whether the untitled project is a sequel to the actor-director duo’s 2010 blockbuster movie Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa. Last year, Simbu, Gautham and Trisha came together to make a short film called Karthik Dial Seytha Yenn. This film gave a glimpse of the kind of relationship that Karthik (Simbu) and Jessi (Trisha) share with each other after going their separate ways. It was shot using mobile phone cameras under the restrictions of lockdown by Gautham. The duo had worked together earlier in Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada (2016) and the modern classic Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa (2010) as well. The 37-year-old actor is currently working on Maanaadu with Venkat Prabhu, while Gautham Menon has the likes of Dhruva Natchathiram, Joshua and a few other projects in the pipeline. Keep watching this space for more details on the subject and the rest of the cast and crew of the highly anticipated film. View the full article
  6. A game like Cyberpunk 2077 is a perfect breeding ground for some kickass mods and the modding community hasn't left a stone unturned to pump out some really cool mods for the game. We've already seen some really good mods that let us explore the game differently. There's a third-person mode mod, a mod to make V have a complete chrome skin, and a lot more. Now, Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt Red has confirmed that the game officially supports modding. In fact, they've also released some official modding tools that should make things a little easier for the creative modding community. © CD Projekt Red You can head over here to their website to check out the new tools. The devs say "tools will continuously be updated alongside with game patches to ensure compatibility". We hope that means more tools are on their way with future patches. For now though, here's what it includes - - Metadata: Per game release, required by some of the tools - ArchiveDump: A utility for listing contents of game data archives - TweakDump: A utility for listing contents of game Tweak DB (game settings) binaries - TweakDB IDs: A list of IDs of Tweak DB entries. Generated using TweakDump and tweakdb.str metadata This is indeed a piece of great news for Cyberpunk 2077 because mods usually help keep the game fresh and alive for a long time. Grand Theft Auto's modding community, for instance, has managed to churn out so many good mods for the game that it's still relevant and thriving to date among offline players who boot the game to have some fun with the mods. © CD Projekt Red That being said, we really cannot wait to check out what the modding community has in store for us. We hope there'll be some insane mods on the horizon. In other news, the new 1.1 patch released by CD Projekt Red for Cyberpunk 2077 has introduced a game-breaking bug. This is quite disappointing because this patch was supposed to focus largely on stability by addressing memory issues and fixing crashes. In turn, it introduced a game-breaking bug that now needs a workaround until the new patch is released. Source: CD Projekt Red View the full article

  8. We finally made it to 2021 and we all are hoping for it to be a better year than 2020 in almost every way. Similarly, it'll be awesome if we get to play, you know, a lot of good games too. We already have a list of games that we want to play. In case you are wondering which ones to play, here's the list of our 4 most anticipated video games of 2021 - Back 4 Blood Back 4 Blood is made by the developer behind the original Left 4 Dead. Back 4 Blood is a four-versus-horde shooter and it's very similar to the Left 4 Dead games. We're really excited to play this one mainly because we think it's going to be just as thrilling to play as Left 4 Dead. Back 4 Blood is bound for PlayStation and Xbox consoles, as well as PC in June this year. Deathloop Deathloop is being made by the same folks who worked on the Dishonoured series. It's an action game about an assassin who's stuck in a time loop. He has to take out 8 targets before the time loop resets. But there's another agent named Julianna after him, so we know it's not going to be easy. In the multiplayer mode of the game, players will be able to take the role of Julianna and run after Colt. Deathloop is slated to come out this year on PC as well as the PS5. Dying Light 2 Dying Light 2 has been one of the most anticipated games and we're glad that it's finally coming out this year. It's going to refine the original game's first-person parkour action gameplay to make it better than ever. We can't wait to experience the game's city-based location and engage with zombies. The game is expected to come out in the first half of 2021 for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. Ghostwire: Tokyo View the full article
  9. 2020, so far, has been the weirdest year that we've lived in terms of everything. And it looks like 2021 is living up to the challenge in terms of the bizarreness, in a good way, of course. In terms of varying fashion and grooming trends, now that we've all started stepping out more often, people want to clearly experiment more with their personal style than ever before. © Twitter/Monkey Tail Beard FC In this weeks' bizarre trends, we have the eye-brow raising, the viral trend of the monkey tail beard. We've noticed that men across different social media platforms are using their accounts to share the new style that they've mastered. They're proudly posting selfies of their face with the unconventional beard style. View this post on Instagram As the name suggests, the monkey tail beard momics the tail of a monkey when the beard is styled. It is shaped in a way that beard growth looks like a big swirly eddy. Besides the monkey tail beard, this beards is also known as the cat tail beard, it's definitely unconventional and weird-looking, but who knew it would gain a sizeable following on social media. The trend first started back in September 2019 when MLB star baseball player Mike Fiers, the pitcher of the Oakland Athletics, pulled off the bizarre beard, although he was mocked at by his fellow teammates. Here's what it looked like: View this post on Instagram If you wanted to try this bizarre beard style at home, it can be best described as beard growth that starts at one of the sideburns on the face, then it swiftly runs down the jawline, the beard growth then loops around the mouth in an angular fashion, and lastly, rests above the lip where the beard finally ends. It is as weird as beard trends can come. In fact, many people are now taking inspiration, and showing their version of the monkey tail beard on social media. View this post on Instagram When it comes to bizarre beard and moustache styles, in general, there are varying ones to choose from, in fact, some of them have recently made rounds on the internet. These include the Hungarian moustache, the pornstache, the chin strap, circular beard, or maybe even a pair of so-called mutton chops if you’re feeling adventurous. © Twitter/Monkey Tail Beard FC But, this year, this is definitely the collect trend around. View this post on Instagram While usually, people might say that don't try this at home, tell us if this article convinced you to try this style out. View the full article
  10. We keep coming across bits and pieces of info around Rockstar Games' new big open-world game, the Grand Theft Auto 6 . So far, we've heard rumors about the game being set in multiple cities across the world and also about it being the first GTA game to have a female protagonist. Now, according to a new report, it looks like the game might have the most realistic NPC behavior in the open-world game ever. Honestly, that's a huge claim but it looks like Rockstar's parent company has filed for a patent in April 2019. It was recently discovered by Redditors. © Rockstar Games The patent talks about a new system that describes a new kind of NPC tech. It was developed by Rockstar’s lead AI programmer, Simon Parr, and David Hynd, Rockstar’s associate director of technology. This new system is designed to create "a realistic virtual world that is not limited by hardware and software limitations.” It's essentially a new kind of system to produce NPC behavior players expect within the limits of current processors and memory bandwidth. This is specifically in relation to traffic behavior and how a particular NPC behaves while handling a vehicle, boats, etc. The system outlined would result in a more realistic and immersive simulation of traffic. Of particular note is that the system means “each NPC can define its own specific characteristics for traversing the road nodes.” In simple terms, they'll be able to understand acceleration, breaking time and distances, top speeds, and even cornering speeds. © Rockstar Games Currently, only some of the NPCs in the game are designed to have these characteristics and they're mostly the ones that you interact with for the story or a mission. The others, say on the roads or the ones that are just fillers don't possess them. The new NPC tech, however, will try to produce more realistic NPCs throughout. The patent doesn't say it was specifically made for GTA 6. However, since it was made by Rockstar designers and was patented by its parent company, Take-Two, we can only imagine that it is specifically made for Rockstar's open-world games. Interestingly, the patent reads this - “virtual navigation and management of objects in a multiplayer network gaming community.” This raises the question if GTA 6 will be an online experience. Honestly, it's too hard to tell what Rockstar is cooking behind the scenes for the next GTA game. We just know for a fact that it'll be big and better than ever. They can take all the time they need to make a stellar game and not rush into anything like Cyberpunk 2077. Source: IGN View the full article
  11. At this point, Anand Mahindra is known more for his tweets than anything else. The man shares a great combination of hilarious jokes and wisdom online and has made everyone a huge fan of his Twitter presence. © Twitter And, of course, he would have a fun jibe after India's historic win today. India defeated Australia by three wickets on Day 5 of the fourth and final Test at the Gabba in Brisbane today, to retain the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. © Twitter While everyone is ecstatic about this win, it wasn't an easy one and there were a bunch of people who were convinced India cannot bounce back, especially with Virat Kohli not part of the team, currently. © Twitter Well, those people included former Australian cricketers, from Michael Clarke to Michael Vaughn. Well, looks like they'll be ready to eat their words now and Anand Mahindra cheekily asked them if they want their words "Grilled, fried, baked...wrapped in a chapati or dosa". 13. One of the best things about using Apple's 'Apple TV+' streaming service is being able to experience spatial audio on the AirPods Pro and the new AirPods Max. Although the streaming service doesn't have the best content when compared with other platforms, it does have such awesome features. Well, now it looks like even Netflix is testing spatial audio. If everything goes to plan, then the spatial audio support might roll out for iPhone and iPad. © Unsplash Netflix already offers a variety of surround sound content, so we won't really be surprised if Netflix manages to pull it off. Spatial audio converts the audio into virtual surround sound, making it a very immersive experience. If the report is something to go by, then it looks like Netflix will roll out the support with limited content. Spatial Audio, for those of you who don't know, lets you experience directional audio filters to “play sounds virtually anywhere in space, creating an immersive sound experience.” This puts surround channels exactly in the right spot, even as you turn your head or move your device. Here's Apple's description of spatial audio - "Spatial audio with dynamic head tracking brings the movie theatre experience right to your AirPods Pro. By applying directional audio filters and subtly adjusting the frequencies each ear receives, spatial audio can place sounds virtually anywhere in space, creating an immersive surround sound experience. Using the gyroscope and accelerometer in your AirPods Pro and your iPhone, spatial audio tracks the motion of your head as well as your device, compares the motion data, and then remaps the sound field so that it stays anchored to your device even as your head moves." It's also worth pointing out that only Netflix's highest-end Premium tier supports Dolby Atmos surround sound. So, it'll be interesting to see if Netflix limits Spatial Audio to the Premium subscribers too. © Unsplash As we mentioned earlier, there's no official confirmation on this feature's rollout just yet. So, we suggest you stay tuned to us for more info regarding the same. In the meantime, you can check out the Apple TV+ streaming service to experience Spatial audio if you own either a pair of AirPods Pro or the new AirPods Max. Source: 9to5mac View the full article

His sartorial sensibilities are quite quirky and it also won't be wrong to call the man the king of fashion too. His Instagram is a perfect demonstration of the same and he is seen most of the times on a sartorial high. © Viral Bhayani © Melissa Not many people know about this brand, but Pulkit here is seen wearing Melissa Crew sneakers with neon straps. For the unversed, Melissa is a Brazillian fashion brand that specialises in women's footwear, curating styles with zealous jelly colours. These sneakers too show the same. These high top sneakers with colourful straps add a 90s nostalgia with an ideal splash of fun to the outfit. © Viral Bhayani Coming to his outfit, Pulkit seems to have dressed perfectly for the airport, with his basic white T-shirt, and minimally distressed pants. 16. As the saying goes that 'everything is fair in love and war' , a Chhattisgarh man has just proved that right. Well, as 'dabangg' as anyone could ever get, this man married two women at the same time in the same “mandap” in presence of family members and villagers with all the rituals and formalities. The 24-year-old Chandu Maurya, as per the news reports, solemnised his marriage with the two women, both his lovers, at a ceremony attended by 500 people on January 5, HT reported. “I decided to marry both of them because they both loved me. I can’t betray them. They agreed they both will live with me forever,” Chandu told the newspaper. Meanwhile a video from the wedding ceremony and the invitation card of the function have gone viral on social media. Here’s the most unusual love story Maurya, a marginal farmer and laborer in Maoist-affected Bastar district, said he had fallen in love with Sundari Kashyap, 21, in Tokapal area when he had gone there to install electricity poles. The two planned to marry each other, but a year later, Haseena Baghel entered the life of Maurya. The 20-year-old was attending a wedding in his village Tikralohnga when the two met and fell in love. HT reported that Maurya told Haseena that he was already in a relationship but that did not stop her from wanting a relationship with him. “Both Haseena and Sundari came to know about each other and agreed to have a relationship with me,” he said. Well, it didn’t stop there. In fact, the three also started living together at Maurya’s house, where he lives with his parents and two siblings. The family members of Haseena came to attend the marriage ceremony but Sundari’s family skipped the function, said Chandu. Did you know this is not the first time that a man has married two women at the same time? A man in Madhya Pradesh has married two women at the same ceremony last year. In 2020, Sandeep Uike, a resident of Madhya Pradesh's Betul, had married two women at a ceremony on July 8. One of the women was Uike’s girlfriend and the other was a bride chosen by his parents. The wedding was held with the approval of all three families. Tell us your thoughts on this in the space below. View the full article
  17. Ram Gopal Varma has once again managed to make headlines for all the wrong reasons. Recently, in an interview with TOI, Ram Gopal Varma said that he likes the bodies of women and not their brains. He also said that he gets intimidated by women who have an opinion of their own and when it comes to women, he only sees his distinct sexuality. © BCCL He said, "The brain does not have a gender. A woman can have it, a man can have it. The sexual aspect is very particular and specific. A woman has an extra thing which is her sensuality and which I admire.” When he was asked if he still believes that he likes women for their bodies and not their brains, he spoke how he mentioned this line in his book and still thinks this line makes sense to him. "I mentioned that in my book 'Guns & Thighs' also that I like women for their bodies and not their brains," said Ram Gopal Varma. © BCCL He was also asked if he wants to get married and he said that he has never been into a relationship and will never be. "I am not into relationships and too busy to have any kind of emotional entanglement. I like life for the pleasures it offers," concluded Ram Gopal Varma. What do you think? 18. There's a lot going on around Cyberpunk 2077 and we're sure the devs currently have their hands full. But amidst all that, CD Projekt Red has confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 will be getting some free downloadable content (DLC) early this year. Of course, we don't have an exact date for the same, but we're glad that there's a confirmation on the DLC. The news about the DLC has officially been confirmed by CD Projekt on their website. You can check it out by heading over to the source link below. © CD Projekt Red This is in-line with what CD Projekt Red had teased in their launch trailer of the game. In case you missed it, here's what the message said - "Our planned expansions will take you even deeper into the world of Cyberpunk 2077, offering substantial, story-driven content that'll give you tough choices to make through impactful narratives that you won't soon forget. But before we get there, we'll first be kicking off our free DLC program in early 2021. Just like with The Witcher 3, expect an assortment of free DLC packs to begin hitting Night City, dropping a bunch of cool stuff that'll inject even more life into the world of the dark future." With all that being said, a lot of people are still very angry over the game's launch issues. The game, in case you don't know, is still very much unplayable on the Xbox One and the PS4. We're happy about this DLC release, but we'd love to see CD Projekt Red fixing their more than anything at this point. Let's hope for the best. Source: CD Projekt Red View the full article
  19. It's the last day of the year and I, honestly, thought we were done with boycotts for at least 2020 but people had time to come up with one last boycott and they're going out with a bang. It's honestly hilarious that some people are actually trying to boycott the last day of the year itself, but what we've learned this year is that Desi Twitter is always full of surprises. At first glance, anyone would think that #SayNoTo31December would be about not going all out and partying on new year's eve this year because we're in a pandemic. That would actually make sense since we should still avoid big gatherings. #MyNewYear_HinduNavVarsh There is nothing wrong in welcoming New year; but it should be on correct day so that will be beneficial to everybody. The day when universe was created is Chaitra Shukla Pratipada..So let's celebrate new year on that day and #SayNoTo31December pic.twitter.com/KlZXOzVViM — Aparna Naik (@AparnaNaik10) December 31, 2020 But no, it's way more complicated than that. Since this day isn't actually the 'Hindu New Year', people are refraining from celebrating and that would be fine, but they are also degrading people and their personal choice to bring in 2021 and well, that's an issue. On 31 Dec Consuming alcohol, eating meat, dancing erotically, etc. at parties, clubs and bars through the night during New Year celebrations is very common. Is this RT way to welcome the New Year?#SayNoTo31December#MyNewYear_HinduNavVarsh@Np_Hjs@jrmpoojary pic.twitter.com/FnrMBCKwL5 — Nagesh Dkn🇮🇳 (@Nagesh2023) December 31, 2020 You can do whatever you want as long as you don't expect literally everyone else to follow that, the moral policing and the overly sanskari message is what's making a lot of people make fun of this trend. Side note, feeling so sorry for this poor guy. 20. Apple's AirPods Pro earbuds are undoubtedly one of the most popular truly wireless earbuds on the market. But the only issue with the AirPods Pro is that it comes in only one size. It's not essentially a deal-breaker, but they just don't offer a good, comfortable fit for a lot of people. Well, it looks like Apple is aware of this and it looks like they're working on the next version of AirPods Pro which is expected to come in two sizes. The alleged images of the next AirPods Pro's internal hardware has leaked online. Here, check it out - New AirPods Pro Mabey Two Sizes Still W2 Chips 🤨 pic.twitter.com/R5MpzUrUlg — Mr·white (@laobaiTD) December 29, 2020 As you can see, the hardware in the photos below shows two different sizes. Even the cable sizes are different, which Mr-White suggests is an indication that the AirPods Pro 2 could perhaps come in two sizes. This is more or less in line with some previous leaks which suggested that Apple is planning to cut down the short stem that sticks out from the bottom and come up with a more compact design. Obviously, there's no wait to confirm if it's an accurate leak. Mr-White has shared accurate into in the past but with Apple, we just have to till we get an official announcement. © MensXP/Karthik Iyer As of now, there's no word yet on when exactly a refreshed version of the AirPods Pro will be out, but it looks like the updated earbuds will arrive sometime next year. 21. OnePlus is planning to launch its next set of phones under the OnePlus 9 series sometime in the first quarter of 2021. We already know quite a few things about the series thanks to all the leaks and rumors. And if the rumors are something to go by, then it looks like OnePlus is planning to release 3 new phones. Now, according to a new leak, we've learned that OnePlus is equipping the new OnePlus 9 with Leica camera lenses. Of course, there's no official confirmation on this but we're super excited to see just how good these phones will be when it comes to the optics. © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla It's also worth pointing out that OnePlus has decided to not include a periscope lens this time around. So, the best we'll get to see is just a normal telephoto lens. This is obviously going to restrict the camera performance quite a bit but we'll reserve our judgments for later. But looking at these leaks and rumors, it looks like OnePlus is finally taking steps to ensure a great camera experience and we'll see some significant improvements. The OnePlus 9 is expected to sport a triple camera setup which includes a 50MP primary rear camera, a 20MP wide-angle lens, and a 12MP telephoto lens. © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla Also, at least 2 out of the three phones in the OnePlus 9 series are expected to ship with a Snapdragon 888 SoC, so it'll be interesting to see how they perform and compare against other flagships on the market. In the meantime, you can check out our review of the OnePlus 8T right here. Source: Gadgets360 View the full article
  22. Xiaomi has officially launched the new Mi 11 smartphone in China. It comes with a new design and upgraded specs and it gives a good look at what to expect from high-end flagship phones in 2021. On the front, it sports a 6.81-inch display with support for up to 120Hz refresh rate. What's more interesting is that it has a resolution of 3200x1440 and it's an AMOLED panel too. On paper, it sounds like one of the best smartphone displays, so we can't wait to check it out in person. © Xiaomi The Mi 11 is powered by the new Snapdragon 888 SoC and comes with up to 12GB RAM. As you'd expect, the Mi 11 supports Wifi 6 and 5G. But sadly, the phone will not come with a charger in the box. This was already confirmed by the CEO Lei Jun, so we're not entirely surprised. In terms of the optics, the Mi 11 sports a triple camera setup at the back which includes a 108-megapixel main sensor, a five-megapixel telephoto, and a 13 megapixel ultra-wide. It'll be interesting to see how the camera performs. Lastly, it's also worth pointing out that the Mi 11 supports faster 50W wireless charging for its 4,600 mAh battery. The Chinese version of the phone is available for pre-order today and it starts shipping on January 1. The base model of the Mi 11 is priced at 3,999 Yuan which roughly translates to around Rs 45,000. We don't know the pricing of the other versions, but we're sure they'll be adjusted when it arrives in other markets. Overall, the Mi 11 looks like a very promising phone and we can't wait to check it out. As of now, there's no info about its arrival in India, so we'll just have to wait for more info. In the meantime, you can check out the Mi 10T Pro that was launched not too long ago in India. View the full article
