  1. Netflix released the trailer of 'Delhi Crime' which traces the events of the unfortunate Nirbhaya rape case of December 2012. The seven part series stars Shefali Shah who plays Varthika Chaturvedi, a police officer who headed the investigation and takes the audience deep into the entire investigation of the case which shook the nation in grave horror. On 16th December 2012, a young woman was returning home with her friend when she was gang raped by six men in a bus and the two friends were thrown to die on the road later. The event stirred a nation wide protest and pressurised the government and the police to push for justice for the girl and her family. © Netflix Shefali has done a stellar job with the role and this trailer gives us a glimpse of what actually happened during the chase and run between the police and the criminals, the state of the girl's family, and the nation wide protests which reflected the brutal frustration of the common man with the loopholes of the system in India. Our country is still known as one of the most unsafe countries for women in the world and it's high time we, as a nation, do something about it. The series premieres on 22nd March on Netflix.
  2. The cricketing world has seen some of the most extreme examples of sledging in recent history. If you want to learn how to be a classic sledger, challenging your opponents through psychological warfare, getting under their skin and finding the minutest of opportunities to irk them, so that they do something foolish in anger or because of being too distracted mouthing off to you, you have to learn that from the epic rivalry we got to see between the Indian and Australian wicketkeepers Rishabh Pant and Tim Paine. Stump mic on ð It's cricket like never before, no commentary in the whole over ð®#AUSvIND #foxcricket pic.twitter.com/8R2nwVMa9W — Fox Cricket (@FoxCricket) December 10, 2018 On the contrary, if you want to learn the kind of things that are a complete 'No-No' when it comes to banter-talks in cricket, you have to let Pakistani captain Sarfraz Ahmed become your master, who not only went too far with his words but also managed to make the entire nation of South Africa despise him with his ultra-racist comments. Sarfaraz Ahmed to Andile Phehlukwayo: "abbay kaale teri Ami kahan bethi hoyi hain aaj, kya parhwa kay aya hai aaj" "black man wheres your mother sat? What have you asked your mother to pray for you today?"#SAvPAK pic.twitter.com/vw6yuE73OE — Saj Sadiq (@Saj_PakPassion) January 22, 2019 Trash-talking should display cunningness. It should be the things that, on the surface appears to be nothing much but on the inside, it eats up the victim with rage and frustration. Exhibit A: Australian spinner, Adam Zampa's sly comments about getting the Indian skipper Virat Kohli out for cheap on two of three encounters they have had during their time here in India. Adam Zampa has dismissed Virat Kohli twice on the Aussie's tour of India, and he's ready for a rematch in Nagpur, writes @samuelfez https://t.co/WMnKEaPkuM #INDvAUS pic.twitter.com/1MVcviL88y — cricket.com.au (@cricketcomau) March 4, 2019 Zampa has had the pleasure of sending Kohli back to the dressing room twice. While the first came during the first T20I when Kohli made just 24 runs in an India loss, the second dismissal came during the previous ODI match when the leggy trapped Kohli in front of the wickets and the third-umpire responded in favour of the bowler on an LBW appeal upon a DRS review. “It's also one of those things where he (Virat Kohli) probably won't want to get out to me again...” said the 26-year-old, while admitting that his team takes some extra time out figuring out a plan to try and send Kohli packing early. If anyone knows anything about the captain of the Indian side, they know that Kohli lives and breathes competition. He strives on opponents calling him out in public and then shutting them up with his batting performance, followed by some of the best celebrations ever (hinting: 'mic drop' against Joe Root and Team England. With the second match scheduled for today, we have to see how Kohli responds to Zampa's taunts.
  3. George 'Gerry' Mathew Fernandes - the almost Catholic priest, raging trade union leader and former Union Minister of Defence, who is often remembered as the 'rebel politician', passed away earlier today at the age of 88. However, the able politician was taken away from public memory much earlier, almost at the turn of the last decade. Alzheimer's and Parkinson's stole away the better memories from the man, who was almost rendered silent at the final stage of the disease, having forgotten the many languages the polyglot (Fernandes could speak ten different languages!) could once fluently communicate in. © Twitter However, people remember Fernandes for numerous other reasons. He was a passionate trade unionist who was almost revered by poor mill workers, whose rights he protected and fought for. But even before his tryst with the labour movement, Fernandes almost became a Roman Catholic priest. As a 16-year-old, Fernandes joined St. Peter's Seminary in Bangalore and studied there for two and half years before leaving the seminary at the age of 19 because, “I was disillusioned, because there was a lot of difference between precept and practice where the Church was concerned.” Soon after he made his way to Bombay, where he would later cross paths with veteran union leader Placid D'Mello, while he was working as a proofreader for a newspaper. Over time, Fernandes joined the socialist trade union movement and rose to prominence in the 1950s as a torchbearer in the Bombay labour movement. © Twitter It was however the 1967 general elections that changed Fernandes' life forever. He ended up dethroning Congress' S. K. Patil after contesting the elections from South Bombay and was soon christened as "George the Giant Killer" following this win. But when Indira Gandhi declared a state of emergency in 1975, Fernandes stepped forward to challenge what he and his supporters believed to be a 'blatant misuse of power'. As if that wasn't enough, he even went ahead and called Indira Gandhi a “congenital liar”. Yet, he didn't stop there. George Fernandes took his 'crusader' title to heart and became the first minister to question multinational giant Coca-Cola about the formula they used in their concentrate. It was in 1977 when as the then Union Minister of Industries he announced that he will no longer allow the company to continue its operations in the country. He had said, “Our policy toward multinationals is uniform," he said, adding that the companies must "abide by the law of the land if they want to be in business in India.” © Twitter After a long battle of words between the bottlers and the Fernandes' party who wanted Coca-Cola (and IBM) to shut shop in India after they refused to dilute their stake in their local partners, the government denied a license to import Coca-Cola for the ongoing year, which almost ended the marketing operation for the brand. After an absence of 15 years, Coca-Cola finally re-entered the Indian market, and has maintained its stronghold ever since. The man has dogged numerous controversies of his own, be it the Barak Missile scandal or the Tehelka episode, yet we need to remember the man who made the Konkan Railways a reality, and acted with par excellence as a defence minister during the Kargil War and Pokhran nuclear tests.
  4. Arguably one of the greatest footballers of all time, Cristiano Ronaldo has arguably won everything there is in the world of football. From winning a record five Ballon d'Ors to winning the Euro title with Portugal, Ronaldo continues to prove that he's a cut above the rest. But, while his exploits on the football pitch has earned him the status of a demigod, his antics off it has also made him a subject of immense criticism. From his tax fraud case in Spain to the recent rape allegations from a woman in the United States, the Portuguese legacy in the sport has surely been dented. While the rape allegations levelled against him are still pending an inquiry, Ronaldo has now settled the long-standing tax evasion case. The 33-year-old was accused of avoiding paying taxes in Spain between 2010 and 2014, during his stint with Real Madrid. The case against him in the Spanish court was centred around lucrative image rights deals. The prosecutors had claimed that the proceeds were funnelled through low-tax companies in foreign nations to evade taxes. AP The allegations had first emerged in 2017 when the prosecutors had claimed that it was a "voluntary and conscious breach of his fiscal obligations in Spain". But, Ronaldo's lawyers clarified that it was all down to a misunderstanding over what was and was not required under Spanish law, and denied any deliberate attempt by the football superstar to evade tax. In a bid to settle the case, a deal was struck in June last year which was supposed to be agreed with Spain's tax authorities. On 22nd January, Ronaldo was asked to appear in the Spanish court to resolve the case. In a court appearance that lasted for a few minutes, Ronaldo accepted the deal offered by prosecutors before walking out with his wife Georgina Rodriguez, smiling and giving a thumbs-up while signing autographs. AP According to the deal, Ronaldo will pay a fine of 16.6 million pounds. But, more importantly, Ronaldo, who was earlier facing some prison time, will no longer serve the pre-decided 23-month jail sentence. In Spain, convicts do not usually do time for sentences under two years. And, since, the nature of Ronaldo's offence was non-violent, the Juventus forward seems to have escaped the jail sentence, serving it on probation instead. So, for a man who has been listed by Forbes as the third-wealthiest athlete in the world, with estimated earnings of 108 million dollars a year, the 16.6-million-pound fine seems like peanuts for Ronaldo. Thus, there was no surprise to see football fans across the globe slamming Ronaldo and Spanish tax authorities for the same. The rich get way with as they pay large fines. He should have gone in jail as poorer people would have done. — dave hitchin (@HitchinDave) January 22, 2019 why isn't he made to pay back what he owed?! — Jordy (@garyetchells) January 22, 2019 So? Rapists are free and happy, and I don't see the moralists talking about it. — Bel Inojosa (@BelCiel) January 22, 2019 You'd think they were going to a Royal wedding by that photo. — Robson (@ROBSON_THE_RED) January 22, 2019 Proof that money can buy happiness — ThirdEye (@ItsGillaGilla) January 22, 2019 Never seen anyone happier to leave a court room. ð³ pic.twitter.com/uAWTVUo7TW — s u l e i m a n ð (@SuleimanAFC) January 22, 2019 Amazing how you can buy anything with money... — steve phillips (@superbladestee) January 22, 2019 I'd be happy too , cuz that's pocket change for him... he will make it back in a few months from his sponsors , and I wouldn't be surprised if Juventus actually pays for it . That's actually possible — Tendai91 (@Tendai9111) January 22, 2019 Ahhh, what a world we live in where literally anyone that wasn't rich would have been sentenced to prison if they had done this. — James Watson (@JamesWa46455119) January 22, 2019 This would be only a tiny amount of money to him — Janette Hall86 (@JanetteHall) January 22, 2019 Easy when you're rich — krishan (@22kchauhan) January 22, 2019 meh, 2 months salary for him. — ( '| ) (@pedroleitao) January 22, 2019
  5. The previously rumoured smart battery case by Apple is now officially a reality and Apple launched it quietly on its website today. The Smart Battery Case works only with the iPhone XS, XS Max and XR and can extend the battery life to as much as 39 hours of talk time on the XR with 21 hours of internet use. The cool thing about the new smart case is that it supports wireless charging as well which you don't need to plug it in with the charging cable. © MensXP The new Smart Battery Case is compatible with Qi-certified chargers, enabling users to wirelessly charge iPhone and the battery case separately or simultaneously, and can also charge via Lightning cable or fast charge with USB-PD compatible chargers. The Smart battery case is also integrated with iOS meaning you will be able to see the case's battery status on the lock screen and even in the notification center. The case is available in two colours i,e, black and white and will cost $129. As of now, it's not certain how much it will cost in India however we should soon see it at official Apple retailers. © Apple Apple has not sold a Smart Battery Case for the iPhone since the company introduced iPhone 7 and it probably had to do with wireless charging on future iPhones. The new smart case follows the same design as previous battery cases that have the noticeable hump at the back. Even though it looks visually appealing, personally we would have preferred a design that would be uniform and would use the entire length of the case.
  6. Like we didn't have enough troubles to pay attention to, we have another rather strange complaint doing the rounds and it doesn't even make sense. An advocate by the name of Mr. Ojha from Patna has filed a case against the film 'The Accidental Prime Minister', for promoting content that does not show several public figures in a good light, in the movie. © Rudra Productions (UK) We're a bit confused though. The petitioner has clearly seen only the trailer, since the movie releases on the 11th of January, 2019. And after watching the trailer, he's made an abrupt case of public figures being lampooned in the movie. Our fair guess says he's trying to save the myriad questions that may arise post the movie launch, which will put our former PM Dr. Manmohan Singh and his then media advisor Sanjaya Baru, in a lieu of unsettling thoughts, from the audience, since the movie is based on Manmohan Singh's tenure as the Prime Minister of India. Both the figures are played by Anupam Kher and Akshaye Khanna, respectively. © Rudra Productions (UK) While we do sympathise with Mr. Ojha's concern, we think his retribution towards the screening of the movie is absolutely claimless and haphazard, since the movie in question isn't even out yet. And it could truly be showing the actual events that took place while Manmohan Singh was our Prime Minister. So, if he's really offended with the half-baked content that's being shown through the promos, then he certainly needs a little more perspective. Some would say he's trying to be pre-emptive in his approach to judge a situation. While I can seem to agree on that, I cannot let that take away the truest essence the movie is trying to bring out, through a phenomenal cast. © Twitter The petitioner has claimed to feel 'hurt' upon viewing the promos of the movie and about 14 members including Anupam Kher and Akhsaye Khanna have been named who're associated with the movie, in a Bihar court. The petition was filed under IPC sections 295, 153, 153A, 293, 504 and 120B, relating to promoting 'enmity' between different groups, sale of obscene objects, insult with intent to provoke breach of peace and criminal conspiracy. © Rudra Productions (UK) While the sections are quite loaded and misdirecting based on just a trailer, we wish the petition doesn't pan out the way it's being planned to. Everything should have an equal say an voice and here's hoping the movie does exceptionally well. Watch the trailer here
  7. Today is a landmark day in history for everyone fighting for justice in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots, as Congress leader Sajjan Kumar was declared guilty by the Delhi High Court today and was awarded a life sentence. © ANI This judgement follows CBI's acquittal of Kumar, who has now been given a deadline of 31st December to surrender and is also liable to pay a fine of Rs. 5 lakhs. The entire nation is obviously lauding this landmark development and celebrating the judgement. Finally the wheels of justice are moving. Sajjan Kumar gets life sentence in the 1984 state sponsored Sikh genocide. Prime Minister Modi's govt facilitated the re-investigation and formed a SIT to investigate the 1984 genocide. Judiciary looked at all the cases afresh. #Respect — Amit Malviya (@amitmalviya) December 17, 2018 I am at Patiala Court today An impt verdict awaited...Sajjan Kumar case of murder of 5 Sikhs during #1984SikhGenocide at Raj Nagar Praying to Almighty - Justice be delivered to Victims of massacre ðð» It would be a big slap on @RahulGandhi face who is supporting butchers of 1984 — Manjinder S Sirsa (@mssirsa) December 17, 2018 #WATCH: HS Phoolka and Manjinder Singh Sirsa celebrate outside Delhi High Court. The Court today sentenced Congress leader Sajjan Kumar to life imprisonment in 1984 anti-Sikh riots case. pic.twitter.com/tpPSgjvDjO — ANI (@ANI) December 17, 2018 The other names in the list include the likes of Jagdish Tytler and Kamal Nath amongst others. Ironically, on a day when Kumar was convicted, Kamal Nath swore in as the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. Sajjan Kumar convicted in 1984 anti-Sikh riots case, Delhi High Court cancels acquittal. Another accused Kamal Nath will take oath as CM today. — Rana Ayyub (@RanaAyyub) December 17, 2018 Ironical that on the day Sajjan Kumar gets life sentence for his role in state sponsored Sikh genocide of 1984, another man named by an eye witness, an IE reporter, for leading a mob that killed two Sikhs in Gurudwara Rakabganj will be sworn in as Congress CM of Madhya Pradesh. — Amit Malviya (@amitmalviya) December 17, 2018 Even though deliverance of justice cannot bring back the lives that were lost, one can still take solace from the fact that at least the wheels of justice are moving in the right direction. I welcome Delhi High Court verdict convicting Sajjan Kumar in 1984 riots case. It has been a very long n painful wait for innocent victims who were murdered by those in power. Nobody involved in any riot should be allowed to escape no matter how powerful the individual maybe. — Arvind Kejriwal (@ArvindKejriwal) December 17, 2018 But then, there are others who are arguing that the verdict has come in a little too late. It took our justice system 24 years to convict Sajjan Kumar! For 24 years, despite committing mass murders, he was a free man & politician. Despite being a criminal, he lived a high life. Frankly think that judgment today ordering life to Sajjan Kumar is too little & too late! — Swati Maliwal (@SwatiJaiHind) December 17, 2018 Sajjan Kumar's conviction by the Delhi High Court is a delayed vindication of Justice. The Congress and the Gandhi family legacy will continue to pay for the sins of 1984 riots. — Arun Jaitley (@arunjaitley) December 17, 2018 It is a very big day in the history of Indian politics. Let us hope the lamp of justice continues to shine brightly and everyone guilty in the case meets the same fate as Sajjan Kumar.
  8. Shah Rukh Khan has been ruling people's hearts as the uncontested 'King Of Romance' for more than 25 years. But, not many people know that SRK is one of the greatest pranksters in Bollywood. And, he recently gave a glimpse of his pranking skills to his fans, in this BTS video from the sets of his upcoming movie, 'Zero'. View this post on Instagram Bauua ka pyaar hai, Aafia ussi ke naam hai. #MereNaamTu out tomorrow. @anushkasharma @katrinakaif @aanandlrai @redchilliesent @cypplofficial A post shared by Shah Rukh Khan (@iamsrk) on Nov 22, 2018 at 3:35am PST In fact, this video touches base with a crucial topic - the curious case of the missing samosas. The video begins with director Aanand L Rai gorging on samosa on the sets and asking other people on the set to return his plate of samosas. SRK being SRK, he printed out posters that read "Mera samosa wapis karo..." with Rai's photo on it. That's not it, he got his team to post those posters everywhere in the studio. We all know that one person or have a friend in the group, who teases people for being a foodie, but SRK's prank is by far one of the best ways to prank a friend. The video also shows Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif laughing on the sets as SRK continues pranking Rai. The video hilariously ends with Rai requesting SRK to leave him alone. He says, "Mera peechha chhor do" to which SRK's iconic dialogue from the movie plays in the background, "Hum jiske peeche lag jaate hai, life bana dete hai!" However, no one in the video discloses how and where did the samosas go. That's an interesting mystery and we want India's 'finest' team of detectives to come back and solve this mystery. We're talking about CID's ACP Pradyuman and his two ace team members Daya and Abhijeet. 'Zero' is releasing on December 21.
  9. Rakhi Sawant (on the internet) is a gift that keeps on giving. I don't think any single person has given us so much entertainment than her. From interesting Instagram posts to all the outrageous comments she makes, there's never a non-controversial day in Rakhi's life. And now, as if her ongoing antics weren't enough, she has gone and filed a defamation case against Tanushree Dutta. But no, that's not even the best – or worst – part; she has filed a case for 25 paise. Yes, for real. "Maine #TanushreeDutta pe 25 paise ka case Kia hai KYU KI...": #RakhiSawant pic.twitter.com/750uFEjOYm — Bollywood Hungama (@Bollyhungama) October 31, 2018 What weird alternative timeline are we all living in right now? I know this isn't the right one for sure. She claimed that she wanted to file the case for â¹50 crore but settled on 25 paise because she didn't want to bother Tanushree's parents. She also talked about how Tanushree has abused her and claimed her supporters and even threatened her and how this defamation case is all about showing Tanushree her 'aukaat'. In the video, she also cleared the air about the fact that even though Tanushree had claimed that she has filed a case against Rakhi for â¹10 crore, she hasn't gotten any legal notice. Everyone should learn from Rakhi how to fit as many wrong and controversial comments in a short amount of time because wow, today's video was totally jam-packed. Along with talking about the case, she also trashed the biggest movement in the country right now – the #MeToo movement. Claiming that #MeToo is 'gandagi of the West', she defended Alok Nath and Anu Malik. Rakhi, honestly, just stop, please? Pretty please? In case you were living under a rock, the whole Rakhi-Tanushree saga began last week when Rakhi called a press conference to make the claim that Tanushree is a lesbian and how she raped her. “Woh LESBIAN hai aur usne mera RAPE kia: “ #RakhiSawant 's SHOCKING claims about #TanushreeDutta pic.twitter.com/qWrUOHPDqn — Bollywood Hungama (@Bollyhungama) October 24, 2018 So much controversy, what is even happening? Rakhi, are you okay?
  10. Seems like the Vikas Bahl drama amidst the #MeToo movement is getting murkier by the day. After being accused of harassment and misconduct by Kangana Ranaut and another employee of Phantom Films, the director has been under the radar, as far as his social image is concerned. © Instagram Recently the co-founders of Phantom Films, Anurag Kashyap and Vikramditya Motwane announced that the production house was being dissolved. pic.twitter.com/5Fz6792AWy — Vikramaditya Motwane (@VikramMotwane) October 5, 2018 Phantom was a dream, a glorious one and all dreams come to an end . We did our best and we succeeded and we failed. But i know for sure we will come out of this stronger, wiser and will continue to pursue our dreams our own individual ways. We wish each other the best. — Anurag Kashyap (@anuragkashyap72) October 5, 2018 However, seems like Vikas Bahl is in no mood to sit still and hence, has slapped a 10 crore defamation suit against former partners Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane. Vikas wants the two to restrain themselves from making any statements about him in the media. He has also stepped down as the director of 'Super 30' starring Hrithik Roshan. Phantom Films, which was started by Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane, Vikas Bahl and Madhu Mantena back in 2011, has big projects like 'Udta Punja', 'Lootera' and 'Sacred Games' under its wing.
  11. Surprisingly, Judge Kavanaugh has been able to achieve something very akin to what the 26/11 or 9/11 did to the world. Brett Kavanaugh, the now (infamous) US attorney, has brought the world together on a single platform, and has given people around the world a common subject to consider, dissect and share their observations on. If you're wondering about the why and how of the aforementioned claim, then it seems like your current affairs skills have failed you, just like the current president of The United States Of America has failed his people (time and again), but most notably the women and children of the country. © Reuters President Trump's nomination of Brett Kavanaugh earlier in July, to share the prestigious bench as the Associate Justice of the Supreme Court, would have been the man's ultimate rise to glory, however, the shabby deeds of his past have now resurfaced and have stripped the man of his facade, as well as the good fortune of climbing up the ladder unopposed. So, What's The (Back)Story? While it isn't every day that you get to witness a top US judge being publicly tried in a widely publicised assault case, and surely not one that isn't just restricted to the four walls and sound-proofed high ceilings of the courtroom, but has promptly moved into people's living rooms, this one gets your attention for reasons that are more poignant than the involvement of Trump. © Reuters It was post Kavanaugh's nomination by the US president, that an anonymous account of a reported sexual assault carried out by Kavanaugh in high school surfaced in the public realm. The Washington Post later identified the author as a psychology professor at the Palo Alto University named Christine Blasey Ford. The news soon picked up pace and a lot of dirt was dug in the process. In the following months, numerous other women came forward with their personal experiences of having lived through incidents of sexual misconduct at the hands of Kavanaugh. The second most prominent confession came from Deborah Ramirez, who happened to be Kavanaugh's classmate at Yale University. © Reuters While Ford stated that Kavanaugh tried to remove her clothes and sexually assault her as a “stumbling drunk” teenager at a friend's party 36 years ago in high school, Ramirez alleged that Kavanaugh inappropriately exposed himself during a dorm-room party, when they were in college. Other charges of alcohol abuse also did the rounds around the same time. What's Been Up? Media houses around the world have been blowing up with all the latest scoop on the Brett Kavanaugh - Christine Blasey Ford issue, but what hasn't been given enough credit, is the fact that a woman decided to speak up against a personal injustice, knowing full well what it meant and what it would do to her when she went public with her story, regardless of the fact that it has been 36 years since the incident took place. © Reuters The very fact that she chose to speak up against the appointment of the very person who assaulted her, and asserted that he would not do justice to his latest role in the American judiciary, needs to be heeded by each one of us. But, of course, that is not to be expected of the Trump Government that sees too adamant to clear Kavanaugh and place the conservative dimwit on the bench without any “unnecessary trials”. The point every conservative Republican, and the US President seem to be fixated on, is that why did Ford choose to go public with the details after 36 years since the alleged assault. Cloaking her trauma in political colours and giving it a false flavour, which it clearly doesn't deserve, they have come up against all the allegations that have been levelled at Kavanaugh, calling them shams, and disregarding the woman's claims as mere “charges” that target a “qualified and deserving candidate”. © Reuters The Curious Case Of Kavanaugh The charges called for a much needed public hearing and an FBI probe on public demand, which left Kavanaugh's public image and honestly, even his wits too, in complete shambles. The public hearing came as a revelation of the judge's true demeanour and exposed the man for who he truly was. Right from losing his temper, talking over the senators, to giving a glimpse at his lack of judgement in the matters related to law, such as dodging questions and outrightly denying charges, the man made an absolute fool of himself on live TV. Not just that, but Kavanaugh was a hilarious subject to behold as he cried reminiscing about his old schoolmates, lifting weights at a friend's place in high school, and the many stories his father would share on Christmas Eve based on the 'calendar inputs' he maintained. Such impassioned, teary defences most definitely made us question why the world claims that women are overly emotional, when Ford's testimony, one coming from a survivor, was an example of absolute composure. © Reuters What's funnier still, is that he claimed the 'Devil's Triangle' to be a drinking game when questioned by a senator, and most of us know it's anything but that! Any college-going kid would tell you it's a threesome involving two men and a woman. What's more, when directly asked if he has ever been drunk to lose the sense of a situation, or if he would support an FBI investigation, he completely evaded the questions and instead, shot back remarks that were totally hilarious! Bottom Line While the final confirmation rested upon the results of the FBI probe, which came out earlier, the White House has now cleared Kavanaugh of all the charges having found “no corroborations” of sexual misconduct against him. The news comes as yet another blow of disappointment for the masses, and does the job of publicly mocking every sexual assault survivor's experiences and trauma around the world. © Reuters To some extent, it goes on to show the fate of women who build up the courage to speak out against their perpetrators, make themselves vulnerable for larger good and get treated as pawns and liars. It's a sad precedent to set in today's times and we can only wonder what debacles await the American nation when people such as Trump and Kavanaugh come together to rally each other's causes. Sad times indeed for the women in this world.
