  1. There are strong guys, there are animals, and then you have the Russians. Well, everyone who follows strength sports like Powerlifting or Strongman competitions knows that when the Russians arrive, they mean business. Konstantin Konstantinovs was one such powerlifting legend and was one of the strongest men to have walked the face of the Earth. © Twitter His nickname was the 'Kalashnikov' which means a type of sub-machine gun made in Russia. He held the raw world deadlift record of 426 kilos and was a pure old-school guy. No fancy equipment, no fancy stuff, nothing. Only pure aggression and madness! He used to lift weights like they owed him money and were avoiding him and it looked like the weights were trembling in fear when he used to lift them. Here is another video of his record raw lift of 426 kilos. Whenever he used to lift, it used to be a show, and people used to come to just watch him lift. He was a pure legend in every sense. Along with being a competitive powerlifter, he worked as a personal bodyguard in Russia. There is a rumour floating around on the internet that his death was due to a street fight which led to him being stabbed and killed. © YouTube Though, as of now, it is just a rumour, there is a high chance is it true for two possible reasons; number one, being a bodyguard is a dangerous job and number two, it is Russia. In Konstantin, the world has lost a legend. He was a strong and intimidating man and someone people highly looked up to due to his personality. I would like to end my tribute with one of his quotes: "..if you feel that you can lift the record today, never postpone it for tomorrow. Tomorrow may just not come." RIP big man. 2. Yes, you heard that right. Last night, we heard a bit of good news after a long, long time. Remember the Jonas Brothers from Disney? © Jonas Brothers Instagram Or Burnin' Up sparking high school memories for you? © Jonas Brothers Instagram The three brothers, Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas, and Nick Jonas formed the Jonas Brothers in 2005, got a deal with Disney and featured in their show called Jonas and further went on to act in other Disney ventures like Camp Rock in 2008. © Jonas Brothers Instagram Last night, among the Jonas family, Priyanka Chopra Jonas was the first to announce her husband's comeback. Take a look. View this post on Instagram And yes they're back…and may I say… hotter than ever. So proud of the family #Sucker #JonasBrothers #MidnightET A post shared by Priyanka Chopra Jonas (@priyankachopra) on Feb 28, 2019 at 7:00am PST Now, firstly look at that. Everything is spectacular about this cover art. From Nick's pretty pink pants to Joe's baby blue flowery co-ord set and Kevin's psychedelic salmon shirt and pants. The design is spectacular and represents the style of the millennial man. A man not bound by the gendered boundaries of fashion. These men have arrived and they're fierce. In other news, the video for 'Sucker' just dropped. The over the top, fun three-minute twenty-second video features the boys' IRL love interests Danielle Jonas, Priyanka Chopra, and Sophie Turner and it can't get better than this. And look at their smashing outfits from the video. © Jonas Brothers Instagram Kevin is in a sparkly dress suit that we adore. © Jonas Brothers Instagram Joe looks spiffy in an all-black tux © Jonas Brothers Instagram And, Nick chose a bright red vest with co-ordinated pants The Jonas Brothers are back for good, it seems. We can't wait to see what they do next!
  3. If you still haven't watched 'Uri' you are missing out on a really good movie. Brilliant storytelling, excellent direction and of course, the stellar Vicky Kaushal leading the pack to the 250 crore mark. Even if you haven't watched the movie, you must definitely be aware of the famous dialogue 'How's the josh' which has gone viral since. The dialogue has now become insanely popular around the globe and social media is flooded with different renditions of people chanting it with great pride. However, behind everything that leaves impact, there is something equally impactful that inspires it in the first place. The case with this viral dialogue is also similar in nature. Recently, the director of 'Uri', Aditya Dhar explained the inspiration behind this viral dialogue. “I had some friends from defence background, so with them, I used to go to a lot of Army clubs. There was one in Delhi where we used to go for Christmas or New Year parties. There used to be a retired Brigadier who would line up all the kids in front of him and have a chocolate in his hand. He would say 'How's the josh?' and we were to respond with 'High Sir!' The kid who was the loudest got the chocolate. Being a foodie, I used to be the loudest and always got the chocolate. I have heard very few Army people use the phrase. It is not something which is used extensively. What I did was I used the line in the right way in the film and now it has taken off to another level”, he said. © Instagram He further went on to add that this line was in his memory when he was penning down the movie and hence it had to be there. “The line was there right from the first draft. As a writer, we write according to our personal experiences, our memories. It is an amalgamation of everything. I had the line with me in my memory and this was the perfect film for it to come out.” The movie is based on the 2016 Uri terror attack and the retaliatory surgical strike by Indian on Pakistan that followed. The movie is already a blockbuster and has catapulted Vicky Kaushal to the hall of fame of actors.
  4. All celebrity couples, of late, are a huge inspiration for the millennial generation who're trying to make their relationships work. Be it their fancy love affairs, or extravagant weddings, their public display of affection or their anniversary special wishes, celebs know exactly how to show off their love for one another, without a single iota of doubt. (c)Twitter We love reading about celebrity couples old and new and while we stumble upon some really adorable things that stay with us, we also take back some tips and tricks that can be applied in our own way. So, it's not just movies where we see them flashing their love, it's also though their Instagram handles and Twitter accounts and we came across the sweetest wish recently from a couple we've always been rooting for, and they're a great example of love, in today's day and age. (c)Instagram Genelia D'souza and Riteish Deshmukh are celebrating their 7th wedding anniversary on the 3rd of February. To honour the most important day of her life, Genelia shared a throwback picture of both Riteish and her from their wedding day, 7 years ago, with a heartfelt note. The essence of her beautiful thought was just so simple, it made me a bit teary eyed, upon reading it. She narrated how she never had a sense of the kind of man she would marry, but the man she ended up with was her 'bestest friend' who always stood by her through thick and thin. Here, check out Genelia's wish for Riteish: Every girl has a certain perception of how they would want their life partner to be... I Honestly Didn't.. I had this most amazing partner who was my bestest friend, who was the shoulder, I always found when I needed to cry and who made me believe that no matter how tough life is, with us being partners we would take it on,in any form, in any way... That's the man I eventually married and he never ever stopped being the reason for my smile... So I'm glad I never ever had a perception because the reality of living and breathing this wonderful man is all I ever needed to know.. I Love you @riteishd ..Here's to many more laughs together, to the zillion times we will wipe each other's tears and pick each other up when either/or feels weak or simply to life together forever and ever... Happy Anniversary â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸ A post shared by Genelia Deshmukh (@geneliad) on Feb 2, 2019 at 9:25pm PST While Genelia wished her husband with full love and adoration and a beautiful throwback picture, Riteish too gave his wife some social media love on their big day and thanked her for saying 'yes' to him seven years ago! We're really gushing over here! God gives each of us a chance to find true love, but it's up to us to identify it. God graces each of us with an opportunity to be in love but it's upto us to preserve it. God blesses each of us to be loved but it's upto us to make sure we deserve it. @geneliad You are god's grace & blessing in my life... Thank You for saying 'Yes' to me 7 years ago - Happy 7th Anniversary Baiko A post shared by Riteish Deshmukh (@riteishd) on Feb 3, 2019 at 1:47am PST Isn't this wish mighty endearing? I mean, the best love to count on there is the love that comes from someone you can absolutely trust and lean on and if he or she is your best friend then there is certainly nothing like it. That was exactly the case with the two love-birds who got married back in 2012 and now they have beautifully nestled in to each other's life and are a constant inspiration for the millennial couples who're still seeking 'relationship goals'. (c)Instagram So, if you're contemplating a mate for life and think there is someone you share your ups and downs with and someone who understands you, maybe give them a thought and see what that's like. For all you know you might find the love of your life in them, just like how Genelia found hers in Riteish.
  5. After becoming only the fourth Indian captain to win the ICC U-19 World Cup, Prithvi Shaw has established his reputation as one of the most promising young talents in the country. His exploits in the U-19 World Cup and domestic circuit fast-tracked him into the Indian team where he announced his arrival on the international circuit with a brilliant hundred on debut. His natural talent and artistry with the willow further saw him becoming a part of the Indian cricket team that toured Australia. But, while many expected young Shaw to shine Sachin Tendulkar Down Under, the Mumbai wonderkid unfortunately suffered an ankle injury that ruled him out of the Test series that was eventually won by his side in emphatic fashion. Since then, Shaw has been nursing his injury as India continues their tour of New Zealand. And, on 31st January, when his U-19 teammate Shubman Gill made his international debut in the 4th ODI at the Seddon Park, Shaw was seen taking inspiration from Ranveer Singh's viral rap song 'Apna Time Ayega' from his upcoming flick 'Gully Boy'. View this post on Instagram Aapna Time Aayega... Injury se Fit Hoke.... Mein Aur Run Banayega... Apna Time Aayega... #gullycrickettointernationalcricket 𤣠A post shared by MR. SHAW (@prithvishaw) on Jan 30, 2019 at 8:36am PST The 19-year-old took to Instagram and shared a photo of himself, holding the iconic MRF willow. Using the verse of Ranveer's song, Shaw captioned the image: "Aapna time ayega...Injury se fit hoke...Mein Aur Run Banayega...Apna Time Ayega". Making his debut in 2018 in the first Test of the home series against West Indies, Shaw made an immediate impact with a commendable hundred. He, then, followed it up with 103 runs in the second Test. In the two Tests he played, Shaw amassed 237 runs to eventually bag the 'Man of the Series' award. He was then prepping up for a stern test in Australia, but his injury ruled him out of the Test series. Since then, the young gun has been nursing his injury and recovering well, but he's still not fit enough to feature for India. While no comeback date has been set for him yet, Shaw recently told India TV that he would be fit for the twelfth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) where he will be seen donning Delhi Capitals' jersey.

  14. Anything taken to the extremes is often a bad thing, and fitness, sadly, is the blue-eyed boy of this trend. The all or nothing approach is seen in each and every aspect of fitness. You are either on a diet or you are not. You either go all out in the gym or you do not. You either f*ck up your joints or you don't. Oh wait, that is an extreme I would love everyone to be on the 'don't' side. And to preach and push this extremist agenda, fitness posters and quotes are often glorified and hung up as murals on the gym walls or kept as wallpapers and looked up to. The following are the most garbage ones in my opinion. 1. Cheat On Your Girlfriend. Not Your Workout. © Reebok This was a campaign promoted by Reebok through its brand Crossfit and no surprises for guessing, it did not last long. I am still surprised as to how was it even approved by their advertising or marketing department in the first place. Maybe the guy who did was going through a rough patch or was a serial cheater or whatever. But putting fitness in the same context of infidelity and rather promoting infidelity is absurd, to say the least. Do not cheat on your workout? Probably a good idea. Cheat on your girlfriend? What even??? 2. Until You Puke, Faint Or Die, Keep Going © YouTube WHY? Pushing yourself and giving yourself a little kick now and then to get out of your comfort zone is what fitness does. It inspires us to get out of our comfortable lives, push a little bit, get better at it. Once you get better, push a bit further and keep doing that. But do that to the extent that your gym visit is followed up by a hospital visit immediately, you would be out of your mind. That is what this stupid quote implies, that you should keep pushing yourself until you biologically cannot. 100% stupidity. 3. You Can Feel Sore Tomorrow Or Sorry Tomorrow. Your Choice. © YouTube This is yet another example of obsession to the extent that a good thing becomes bad. Exercise until the point that you are always sore the next day? Do you really need that? While it is quite normal for beginners to experience this in the very beginning, this wears off very soon. And that is how it is supposed to be. If you are an experienced lifter and you lift every session to the point of soreness every second day, it is not going to do you any good at all. It may even, in fact, hurt your gains. And the other thing that this ridiculous 'motivational' poster tells people is that they should hit the gym 7 days of the week and they are a failure if they do not do that. You need to understand that your body needs to rest and recover for you to become better with time. And that fitness should enhance the quality of life by being an aspect of it. Not the other way round. Author Bio: Pratik Thakkar is the co-founder and director of GetSetGo Fitness, an online fitness company. If you want to use your body as a canvas to portray meaningful pieces of art that also look badass, you should totally go ahead and do that. 16. We're still spellbound by the fashion extravaganza that the Lakme Fashion Week - Winter Festive '18 was all about. While this year was all about challenging stereotypes and flouting norms, we also witnessed menswear at its finest. One major colour trend we couldn't help but notice was the abundance of black. Well, black anyway features prominently in menswear all around, but the way it was present in this year's collections, was nothing short of brilliant. Here, we have compiled a list of 22 outfits that are classy, inventive, and most importantly, wearable. © Instagram Nick Bateman has anyway been one of the prime areas of focus when it comes to this year's LFW, add to that his appearance in this dapper black Manish Malhotra ensemble, and we get a winning combination right here. Right from the embroidered Pegasus to the ornate buttons, everything about his attire is perfect. © Viral Bhayani Gurmeet Choudhary's appearance as the showstopper for designer Soumodeep Dutta, dressed on the lines of a typical Bengali groom turned heads and how! We love the traditional, yet experimental silhouette and the classy drapery. © Viral Bhayani Arjun Kapoor turned up to cheer bestie Kunal Rawal's show dressed in a delightful black outfit - with a black and white sleeveless jacket to break the monotony. The monkstraps were just the perfect choice of footwear with his outfit. © Viral Bhayani Kunal Rawal's textured, bejeweled Achkan with an angular cut along with a white kurta underneath is a must-have, for the traditionally inclined menswear enthusiast. © Viral Bhayani With a ramp-worthy twist to the quintessential dhoti-kurta-shawl combo that a Bengali 'jaamai' is all about, Soumodeep Dutta sure has been able to replace the white and cream with glam black in the most righteous way possible. © Viral Bhayani An structured jacket with textural details along with silver peeking from within - Amit Aggarwal has done complete justice to the colour black with this outfit. © Viral Bhayani Who knew something as basic as a regular kurta-pyjama combo can look super impressive with a statement shawl thrown on top? Let's just say Kunal Rawal did. © Viral Bhayani When you want to stick to the darkest shade of jet black without any variation whatsoever and still make a statement, layering is the name of the game you should stick to. The key players? Antar-Agni, of course. © Viral Bhayani An elaborate, almost futuristic looking overcoat with structured collars is your best bet when it comes to 'making an entrance', anywhere. Amit Aggarwal has nailed it, clearly. © Viral Bhayani Want to keep it casual, but make a statement nonetheless? This Kunal Rawal outfit should be your inspiration right here. Joggers, longline T-shirt, a jacket, and a stole - simple. © Viral Bhayani You know what's really 'in'? The right melange of relaxed and layered. This Antar-Agni outfit is the one to beat when it comes to that. © Viral Bhayani How to do 'minimalist glam' right? Like this super unusual Amit Aggarwal bandhgala right here. © Viral Bhayani Want to play an exciting game with unusual silhouettes and layering? This Kunal Rawal outfit is the one to beat. © Viral Bhayani A plain ol' achkan can look phenomenal when it has been 'blocked' with multiple fabrics. This Antar-Agni piece can definitely be an inspiration for the next one you get stitched. © Viral Bhayani Traditional, but extremely edgy and modern at the same time, this Amit Aggarwal creation is a definitive 'thunder-stealer'. © Viral Bhayani If you're fond of the classy brand of drape-y boho-chic, this Antar-Agni outfit will give you outfit goals. © Viral Bhayani Apparently, if you know how to drape it right, a light shawl can make all the difference in a deceptively simple outfit. Soumodeep Dutta is clearly a pro when it comes to that. © Viral Bhayani 'Kurta-Pyjama, but make it fashion, and ramp-worthy' - This clearly was on Amit Aggarwal's to-do list when he came up with this cracker of an ensemble. © Viral Bhayani This outfit by Kunal Rawal is proof that innovative cuts are the secret behind an exclusive looking outfit. Essentially a longline shirt with well-fitted trousers made out of the same fabric, this striped number is simple, but super cool. © Viral Bhayani Colour blocking can be used even with contrasting fabrics and textures for a super premium look and feel. This Antar-Agni outfit is proof. © Viral Bhayani An outfit composed of a basic shirt and trousers, plus a jacket can actually look avant-garde, if the cuts are innovative. This W-patterned Kunal Rawal creation is the perfect example of that. © Viral Bhayani Talking about layering it up with innovative textures, this Amit Aggarwal ensemble is yet another piece that will make you stand out in the crowd, irrespective of the occasion.
  17. Rajkummar Rao is one of the coolest actors out there right now, and don't even fight me on that. We all know he's an incredible actor, but after seeing his interviews and stuff, you know that he's one of the best people to be around. He just seems that easy-going and fun. Along with that, he's also one of the only self-made actors in the industry right now. We all know how nepotism works here – Kangana Ranaut has reminded us about it time and again – and how hard it is to make it in Bollywood without a 'Godfather'. Every struggling actor goes through it but if you're talented, you should never give up. The 'Humans Of Bombay' always shows us real stories of people and they also feature actors and they love to get real and show the people a side of them no one has seen before. Yesterday, the famous page shared a post about Rajkummar Rao, where he got very real about his struggling days. From idolizing Shah Rukh Khan to surviving just on Rs 10,000 a month, Rajkummar Rao has literally gotten here just because of his persistence and hard work. He started off by talking about his fascination with Shah Rukh 'sir' since he was the ultimate outsider who made it to the top. But, it's not that easy to 'make it', just showing up in Mumbai isn't enough. He started off by doing some forgettable ads and was struggling in every sense of the word. He said, “I made about Rs 10,000 a month––but still, there were days when I didn't have money, and I'd call my friends asking to share their meal.” But, giving up was never an option for him, even if it meant hunting for auditions and only getting to try out for the smaller roles. He said, “I didn't let any of it demotivate me – I believed that someone would see my talent.” The most important call of his life came when he got the news that he got the movie 'Love, *** Aur Dhoka'. He went on, “The words were, 'Ho gaya hai. You got the film.' I fell to my knees, called my mother. The movie released, and I got a lot of love... that's when the doors opened. But I'll tell you a stand-out moment for me – I think it was after the release of Queen.” Another notable moment came for him when he finally met Shah Rukh Khan. He recalled that he was shooting in the same place as the King Khan and tried his luck to meet him. He said, “I sent a message across to him––I didn't think he'd know me, but, he called me to his trailer – he knew my entire bio! He made me feel so special. I was already a fan, but that day I was probably his biggest fan. I was nervous and in awe throughout. I once spoke to his posters...and now there he was, in front of me. How can I even explain what that felt like?” Twitter Everything that goes around does come around because people who refused to cast him in a lead role before offer him movies now. His last words are for every person who is struggling – “I've believed in my craft, even when things weren't going well. I just knew – I put it out in the Universe and attracted it all. Remember, no matter what anyone else says, no one is going to believe in you, the way YOU do – so hustle, and let the Universe do the rest.”
  18. When we got to know that 'Fanney Khan' is going to feature Anil Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, our excitement was already uncontrollable, much like every other Bollywood buff, but once Mr Kapoor hit the road with Rajkummar by his side - both of them in their fashionable best - it did look like a fierce fashion feud, the good kind. Just like Anil Kapoor already has been killing it with his fashion game of late, by choosing and carrying off super modern and experimental silhouettes like longline shirts, Rajkummar Rao too has surprised us with his edgy AF style choices. We got to see it all recently, when they hit the streets for the promotion of the movie. © Viral Bhayani As if their too cool for school attires weren't enough, they showed off their equally cool Lakhan-inspired dance moves, with a Fanney Khan dedication to boot. A post shared by Viral Bhayani (@viralbhayani) on Jul 30, 2018 at 8:02am PDT Mr Kapoor's simple but super impressive Khaki olive longline shirt stole the show (just like his character from Fanney Khan will, we hope). © Viral Bhayani But Rajkummar's layered outfit with the statement shirt, cropped trousers, and that copper-dust rose blazer wasn't far behind at all. He definitely was a worthy competition to Anil Kapoor when it comes to unconventional, mature streetstyle. © Viral Bhayani Both of their footwear and accessory game was on point. While Rajkummar matched his shades with his jacket, Mr Kapoor decided to stick to a classic pair of dark sunnies. © Viral Bhayani Who can tell there's almost a 30-year age difference between these two? All we can say is that we're bowled over, for sure.

But to have received such an honour from them makes me feel proud of playing for my nation. I want to thank you all once again from the bottom of my heart and look forward to catching up with all of you when we come to England next year. Hopefully, we can have some interaction off the field also, cheers thank you”. It sure feels great when your captain cool gets the recognition which he deserves.
  20. The 90s was a magical era. Ask any 90s kid and they will confirm. There was something about that time that made everything look grand and majestic. Naturally, pop culture was purely aspirational. Fashion was no different and we had models who made us want to basically just be like them. They were incredibly charismatic, fit, and most importantly, 'extraordinary' in the truest sense of the word. Here, we have compiled a list of 8 of them. Take a look and reminisce! 1. Milind Soman © Twitter Ever since the world saw a young Milind Soman in Alisha Chinai's chartbuster music video 'Made in India', he has been an icon. That lean, fit frame along with the God-like features made sure that Milind was pretty much the benchmark for perfection about how an 'ideal man' should look like. Every model aspired to be him, and rightfully so. He's crossed 50 now, but even now gives 20-year-olds a run for their money when it comes to fitness. 2. Dino Morea © Twitter Dino Morea, with his sculpted physique and charming face was the dream man for every girl in the 90s. His popularity was almost unattainable, and the thing that made it even more effective was his nonchalance towards that. At 42, nothing has changed, and he is as fit as he always was. It's unexplainable, tbh. 3. Zulfi Syed © Twitter A regular face in popular music videos and advertisements, Zulfi Syed had that royal edge to him that you're just born with. He was one of the most popular models in the country. Every kid would look up to him, admire him, or fancy him. And why not? 4. Arjun Rampal © Twitter Before he became a household Bollywood name, Arjun Rampal was one of the top models of the country. His long locks and super sharp jawline broke many a hearts. 5. John Abraham © Twitter John is a superstar today, but he also started off his journey as a model with this group right here. Good acting skills, humility, dedication, and an absolute cracker of a physique helped him become one of Bollywood's biggest self-made names. 6. Marc Robinson © Twitter Marc was an extremely handsome model who was popular in his own right, but an extremely controversial condom advertisement with Pooja Bedi transformed him into a household name overnight. 7. Jas Arora © Twitter Popular as the 'Gur naal isqh mitha' guy, Jas was perhaps the 'hottest property' to be cast in music videos, and for good reason. The ladies adored his guy next door charm, which he effortlessly multiplied with his dimples. 8. Aryan Vaid © Twitter Aryan Vaid was one of the fittest models the 90s had to offer. Every adolescent kid used to aspire those abs and that lean frame. He was one of the most photogenic models during that time.
