  1. Everyone has an idol that they look up to. We all have that one personality that we absolutely want to look like, be it a sports personality or someone from the fitness industry itself. With the growth of the internet and social media, in particular, we have motivation and inspiration available to us 24-hours a day at just a click of a button, but the fact remains that 99.9 per cent of the population is not able to emulate the physique of the personality that they look up to. Why? Because you only want to look like them without putting in the effort that is required to look the way they look or be as fit, strong or agile as they are. The ideal physique that you are aspiring to achieve come with a certain level of investment in terms of hard work, dedication and time. © YouTube Let's look at what an athlete or a fitness personality does which a normal person does not. 1. No Quick Fixes The people with the best physiques have been putting in their blood and sweat to achieve the physique for a long, long time. We are talking about years and in some cases, even decades. Compare that to people who want to quit working out because they cannot see their abs popping out in a month or give up because they could not outsize John Abraham after a month of weight training. It is unrealistic and outright stupid, if I am being honest, to think that it will happen in a matter of weeks what took the best athletes out there years to achieve. You need to be in it for the long haul. 2. Plans Ahead & Is Realistic How would you plan on reaching somewhere if you don't know how to get there? You would also have no idea about the time it would take to get there, which again would have you set up unrealistic goals and timeframe. People with best physiques, on the other hand, know where they are, where they want to go, and how to get there. They set up goals and move from goal to goal. Even if they are not looking to compete, they train with a plan rather than just going with the flow. © YouTube 3. Not Have Washboard Abs Year Round People who have achieved drool-worthy physiques know that it is impossible to be shredded 12 months a year and putting on muscle mass is as important as being leaner no matter what your goal is. If you are interested in performance and not the looks side of things, muscle mass becomes much more important for you, as muscular endurance and strength are what's going to help you perform better at your respective sport/activity. Look at it this way, if you want to look athletic, you have to be athletic. Start focusing on performance and body composition will take care of itself. 4. They Do Not Starve Themselves For Years On At A Stretch What most people do not understand is that it is easy to lose fat but hard to gain muscle mass. A major chunk of time goes into doing the latter when we talk about athletes who have achieved something in their respective careers. Losing fat makes you eat less which creates a shortage of energy in the body, which in turn, stops you from training and recovering optimally and any person with half a brain cell should be able to guess that training optimally and recovering from that training, is what is needed to attain the goals that you are trying to achieve. Conclusion: We all want to be the best versions of ourselves like the people we look up to but are we doing what they are doing to get where they are? Remember, no athlete in this world turned out world class in a day, you HAVE to put in the time and effort needed to get there, otherwise, you are just wasting your time. At the end of the day, it is largely mental, it's about setting a goal and starting on the path to achieving it without ever looking back. When you do that, you strive for constant improvement, nourish and take care of your body and be in control of yourself. Once you do that consistently, you'll come to a realization that how much can you achieve, how there is always a scope for improvement and how much it sucks to live any other way. 2. John Abraham's second innings as an on-screen spy in espionage thriller 'Romeo Akbar Walter' has finally hit the theaters today. After his successful streak of good luck with a number of patriotic films in the recent times, the audience was looking for a similar experience even this time around. © Viacom 18 The audience was looking for a film with a good plot, strong characters, and a direction that's capable of driving the story, but unfortunately, the initial Twitter reviews have called Abraham's 'RAW' a “raw” deal. A disappointment across the spectrum. © Viacom 18 The recurrent complaint related to the film was that the plot's dullness, and that the film seems to just drag on and sluggish to the point of boredom. While John Abraham has often been called out for this stoical acting, of lack of it, in front of the camera, this time film-goers seemed to have found better things to bash in the film instead of John's acting calibre. © Viacom 18 Movie-goers have found worse elements that plague the film. 'RAW' director Robby Grewal is being bashed by Twitter users for his unsatisfactory vision and execution. The screenplay and even the theme is said to be questionable, and people are simply not buying into the makers' half-baked nationalism. After seeing disappointing reviews of #RAW I can now understand why it took Robby Grewal 10 years to direct another film. His last movie as a director was Aloo Chaat in 2009. It took him a decade to get producers for his new movie.#RomeoAkbarWalter #RAWreview — Chowkidar Vivek Sharma (@TheVivekSharma) April 5, 2019 Here is what Twitter users have reviewed John Abraham's 'Romeo Akbar Walter': Slow and predictable Story Good as one liner but present poorly.. However, with the rest of the weekend ahead of us, things are expected to get a little better. We hope it doesn't bomb as terribly as it is being predicted.
  3. John Cena and Nikki Bella, after a crazy yet dreamy proposal, became one of the hottest and strongest couples in the world seven years ago. I don't know how else to put it, but they were couple goals through and through, complete with their own imperfections, fights and flaws. However, last year they shocked everyone with their breakup. Even after their breakup, John Cena was still deeply in love with her and even confessed the same on a chat show, where he said he wants the two to work and get married to her. Looks like John Cena has finally gotten over his feelings for Nikki and moved on to someone else. A few days ago, the 41-year-old was spotted arm-in-arm with a mystery woman and since then the internet can't keep calm. People tapped into their inner Sherlock and finally found out who the mystery woman is. Meet Shay Shariatzadeh, John Cena's rumoured girlfriend. We found every information available about her and compiled it for y'all, to save you guys time. © Reuters Shay is from Vancouver, and reportedly works as a product manager in the video surveillance industry, Avigilon. She completed her graduation in 2013 from Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of British Columbia. She even said on Avigilon's site that she has always enjoyed maths and physics and it was her brother who inspired her to become an engineer. From a WWE wrestler to an engineer, that is quite a jump for John. © Twitter Her LinkedIn profile reads, "I love technology and people! I excel at building rapport with customers, determining market needs and translating those into engineering requirements so we can build successful products that people love." Shay's biggest inspiration is her mother, "She is the reason I fight to be the best version of myself, to be kind and to never give up—because, despite all the hardship, she always smiled. She is my hero." © Twitter Shay has a green and white belt from Lean Six Sigma before becoming an engineer. Prior to that, she was a sales associate at a high-end fashion store, Guess. John and Shay were spotted enjoying a romantic dinner last week and were all smiles while walking hand in hand. We wonder what Nikki Bella has to say about this news.
  4. John Abraham's second innings as an on-screen spy is just about to begin with his upcoming spy thriller 'Romeo Akbar Walter' ready to hit the theatres this Friday. However, unlike last time in 'Madras Cafe', John will be seen in eight different looks in 'RAW'. Now since that seems like quite a task to pull off in a single film, all with prosthetics, heavy makeup and costumes in place, the makers of the film did not leave any stone unturned to do justice to the character's many requirements. © Viacom 18 Consequently, the makers of the film brought National Award-winning makeup and prosthetic designer Preetisheel Singh onboard to work his magic on John and create his looks in 'RAW'. Recently, John took to his Instagram to share the journey of his transformation with his fans. The video shows John getting ready for one of the most difficult looks in the film, that of a bushy old man. View this post on Instagram I would like to thank my team who made this happen! Watch my transformation to a SPY for #RAW here: (Link in bio) Romeo. Akbar. Walter, based on true events, in cinemas this FRIDAY. @imouniroy @apnabhidu @sikandarkher @RomeoAkbarWalter @viacom18motionpictures @kytaproductions @vafilmcompany @redice_films #AjitAndhare @vanessabwalia @ajay_kapoor_ #DheerajWadhwan @timesmusichub @gaana.official A post shared by John Abraham (@thejohnabraham) on Apr 1, 2019 at 4:58am PDT The transformation is indeed praise-worthy because there is no way one can identify that old man to be John Abraham without context. Preetisheel has done a commendable job on John with this one. 'RAW' is set against the backdrop of the Indo-Pak war of 1971, and traces the journey of a bank employee trained as an Indian spy. He is sent to Pakistan to gather intel for the Indian forces, when the two countries are on the verge of war. The trailer of 'RAW' created quite a buzz with its intense and riveting cinematography. Also starring Jackie Shroff as a RAW Chief, Sikander Kher as John's nemesis, Mouni Roy as the female lead, there are a lot of intriguing aspects which will come unravelled in 'RAW - Romeo, Akbar, Walter'. The film is set to hit the theatres on 5th April, 2019.
  5. In the list of million names who turned rappers and started singing 'Apna Time Aayega' after watching Ranveer Singh's 'Gully Boy', there's a new name that got added today. The person we're talking about is WWE star John Cena, whose latest post has sent his and Ranveer's fans in a frenzy. © Excel Entertainment "Welcome to my Instagram. These images will be posted without explanation, for your interpretation. Enjoy." This is not us. This is John Cena's Instagram bio and let's just say he's never disappointed us, neither earlier nor today. Cena shared a still from 'Gully Boy' with Ranveer Singh's image and 'Apna Time Aayega' written on it. View this post on Instagram A post shared by John Cena (@johncena) on Mar 6, 2019 at 9:35pm PST We don't think this post needs any explanation, but we sure want to know what Cena's first reaction was after watching the movie (if he has seen it, that is). Given that Cena too is known for his incredible rapping skills, we hope they get into a rap battle soon. Directed by Zoya Akhtar, 'Gully Boy' is based on Mumbai's underground rap scenario and also stars Alia Bhatt, Siddhant Chaturvedi (as MC Sher) and Vijay Varma (as Moeen Bhai).
  6. Just when Kangana Ranaut criticised Bollywood for not coming forth and speaking on critical political issues, the quintessential Bollywood hunk stepped up and gave his two cents on the state of affairs of the country. While at the trailer launch of his film 'Romeo Akbar Walter', John Abraham, speaking about the current tensions between India and Pakistan post the Pulwama terror attacks said: "There has to be a war against terror, not against a country, religion, religions or between religions. I am very clear in my outlook. I (will) probably get picked on, but I am not going to sit on the fence and say 'this audience will like it, that won't." © Twitter He also added, unlike other actors, that he's never going to shy away from voicing his opinion. "There has to be a war on terror. It has to be over and done with. That doesn't mean you have to fight with another country. That doesn't mean you have to stereotype people." He was asked if actors are obliged to make political comments, to which he said: “Yes, if they are politically aware. Kangana is very politically aware and she has got a voice. I think you must take a stand if you are politically aware. But you shouldn't be stupidly talented. You can't be an idiot, who knows nothing about which country lies where. If you don't know what's happening from Bihar to Syria, then you should shut up and smile and show your mug that you have done so much work on. Don't talk.” © Pinterest While the actor believes other actors should not talk or comment about politics to simply 'trend', he encourages more people to come forward and talk about the grave situation at hand. We believe John has a point to make, because the country idolises the Bollywood fraternity to an extent and if they come forth and share positive opinions, which do not propagate war and violence, then it definitely reflects well for the rest of society. We all have an opinion but voicing something that's beneficial for the nation and its people should definitely be put forth out and loud. © Indiatimes While talking to the press, John also spoke about his new espionage thriller 'Romeo Akbar Walter', directed by Robbie Grewal. The film also features Mouni Roy, Jackie Shroff and Sikander Kher. Since the film does talk about Indo-Pakistan relations, everyone in the film is aware of the current situation and has an opinion on it, said the 46-year-old actor. “We are stereotyping people, that's probably the most dangerous sign. It shouldn't happen. But that's the way the world is functioning today.” He added. The film is scheduled to release on April 5th. © Twitter Watch the trailer here While more famous personalities are coming forward to express their opinion on the situation at hand, we only hope the tensions die down slowly and peace is accepted by both the parties, shortly.
  7. John Abraham's tryst with patriotic films will see a new addition to the list of other hits, which he has given ardent movie lovers in the genre. After a successful run of his other patriotic films 'Satyamev Jayate' and 'Parmanu', which were not only commercially successful but also earned a lot of critical acclaims, John Abraham is all set to star in the espionage thriller titled 'RAW - Romeo, Akbar, Walter'. View this post on Instagram A brave-heart, a patriot, a hero! His only existence was to exist for his motherland. #RAWTrailer releasing tomorrow. @apnabhidu @imouniroy @sikandarkher @RomeoAkbarWalter @viacom18motionpictures @kytaproductions @vafilmcompany @redice_films @timesmusichub #AjitAndhare @ajay_kapoor_ #DheerajWadhwan @vanessabwalia A post shared by John Abraham (@thejohnabraham) on Mar 2, 2019 at 8:40pm PST Set against the backdrop of the Indo-Pak war of 1971, 'RAW' traces the journey of a young bank employee who is trained as an Indian spy and sent to Pakistan to gather intel. As John wrote on his social media platform while sharing the trailer for 'Romeo, Akbar, Walter', his character's “dharma was to protect his nation against all evils and enemies” and the trailer sure succeeds in inspiring our patriotism, much like it does in John's character. The opening narration of the film begins with Jackie Shroff's voice declaring that “we are on the verge of a war with Pakistan” and honestly, it hits too close to home given the current circumstances between the two nations at the moment. Besides all this, the trailer also inspires thematic similarities with films like 'Raazi' and 'Argo' too, in certain ways. © Viacom 18 However, what stands out in the trailer is John's finesse and passion, which is evident in the portrayal of the character inspired by true events. We are sure that after the viewing of this trailer the film shall not only leave an impression but also shed a lot of light on how things unravelled back in 1971. © Viacom 18 We had earlier reported that John will we be seen sporting eight different looks in the film, and talking about the same, he said, “I do have eight different looks in the film. The effort that goes into giving me those looks is immense. It's time-consuming but completely worth the effort. There's a cast that they create to create to give me the desired get-up. I play everything from an 85-year-old man to a 26-year-old and this is probably the most challenging role of my life." © Viacom 18 The trailer itself looks intense and riveting, making us wonder what will come next for John's character in the film. Also starring Jackie Shroff as the Chief of the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), Sikander Kher as John's nemesis, Mouni Roy as the female lead, there are a lot of intriguing aspects which are yet to be discovered about 'RAW - Romeo, Akbar, Walter'. The film is set to hit the theatres on 5th April 2019.
  8. John Abraham has been giving us some real treats when it comes to weighted entertainment, which not only makes our 2.5 hours worth it, but also illuminates us all at once with its action-packed drama. His choice of scripts have traversed through paths less explored and his upcoming projects just keep getting better and better. What's more, movie-goers and fans cannot get enough of it. 2018 had been a good year for the actor, with both 'Parmanu' and 'Satyamev Jayate' doing really well at the box office, apart from earning their fair share of critical acclaim. This year however, seems to promise us with a different side of the versatile actor, given his upcoming releases 'Romeo Akbar Walter' and 'Batla House' all set to hit the screens this year. © Instagram The first look for 'Romeo Akbar Walter' was released recently, and all the cleverly placed details on the poster didn't escape out attention. The first look of the film presents John in a retro, clean-shaven, lean look. However, it's the image placements in the backdrop that has his fans gushing over John's upcoming release. The poster shows John Abraham in seven other very distinct avatars, and only confirms our expectation that the spy-thriller will be one of the best films to look forward to this year. Why you ask? Give a read to all these deets we dug up on the movie, and you won't have to ask anymore. 1. 'Romeo Akbar Walter' is a thriller which is set against the backdrop of 1971 Indo-Pak War and follows the life of an Indian spy and is said to be based on true events. © Instagram 2. The film is being directed by Robbie Grewal of 'MP3: Mera Pehla Pehla Pyaar' fame, and also stars Mouni Roy, Jackie Shroff, Suchitra Krishnamoorthi and Sikander Kher in pivotal roles. 3. The film has reportedly been shot in various locations in and around India, which includes Kashmir, Gujarat, Delhi and Nepal. Reportedly, director Grewal spent hours exploring the various shoot locations and even interacted with the locals to bring authenticity to the plot. 4. Reports also suggest that Sikander Kher shall be portraying the role of John's nemesis in the film. 5. Another fact most of us were unaware of was that Sushant Singh Rajput was initially roped in for the lead role, for a signing amount of 4 crores. But he later opted out of the film due to prior commitments. 6. 'RAW' will be a comeback film for singer and actress Suchitra Krishnamoorthi, who was last seen in 'Mittal VS Mittal' in 2010. 7. According to inside reports, Jackie Shroff will be seen essaying the role of RAW chief in the film. 8. John underwent special trainings and workshops to get into his character for this movie. Talking about the same, director Robbie Grewal once said in an interview that, “John will be attending multiple workshops before the shoot for around 15-20 days to understand how a spy works. He needs to understand how things worked in 1971 and how different they are today in terms of training and interactions. The mental conditioning is as important for a role like this and John's commitment is fantastic”. © Instagram 9. Reportedly, John will be seen donning 8 different looks in the film, which have been designed by Amera Punwani. Also, National Award winning makeup artist Vikram Gaikwad has been roped in for the film to create John's looks. 10. 'RAW' happens to be John's second collaboration with producer Ajay Kapoor after the commercial success of 'Parmanu'. 11. In an interview with IANS, John shared that he was nervous about his role in 'RAW' as this is his "most challenging role to date". 'Romeo Akbar Walter' is set to release on 12th April.
  9. John Wick is back to kick some more ass, and this time, his victims are bounty hunting killers. 'John Wick: Chapter 3 — Parabellum' has John running around New York City killing everyone with a variety of weapons, which also includes a book. After giving us some incredible fight sequences in New York, including one with John Wick literally riding a horse, the movie shows him somewhere in the Middle East where he meets Halle Berry's character. 10. After giving us some brilliant films like 'Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran' and 'Satyameva Jayate', actor John Abraham is back in action and gearing up to kick some balls (quite literally) on the big screen. In this list of upcoming sports biopics, let's add another exceptional movie that has the potential to beat every other big release of 2019. The movie is based on the iconic 1911 football match that rewrote the Indian sports history. Wikimedia Reportedly, John has roped in Nikkhil Advani to direct this film, where he will play the role of Shibdas Bhaduri, captain of the Mohun Bagan team. After 'Gold' this will be another sports biopic set in the pre-independence era. Nikkhil thanked John on social media for this opportunity and wrote, "Totally honoured that John Abraham entrusted me to tell the story of 1911. Truly an inspiring story of an iconic event in our country's history." Totally honoured that @TheJohnAbraham entrusted me to tell the story of #1911. The honour is all mine @nikkhiladvani #1911 https://t.co/o1GWGoYUjj — John Abraham (@TheJohnAbraham) November 26, 2018 '1911' will narrate the story of late Indian football legend Shibdas Bhaduri, who was the captain of Mohun Bagan during the historic 1911 IFA Shield final, when they defeated the East Yorkshire Regiment and created history by becoming the first Asian team to win the competition. The film will also touch base with how the match played a crucial role in India's freedom struggle. John had earlier mentioned in interviews that he might cast some real footballers in the movie. Nikkhil Advani and John Abraham are currently working together on the upcoming movie 'Batla House' where he plays a cop. Of all the genres, it's sports in particular that has turned out to be the dark horse of this race at the box office. The killer line-up of movies such as '83', and biopics of Major Dhyan Chand, Pullela Gopichand, Saina Nehwal and now '1911' only goes on to prove that sports biopics are going to be make it big at the box office in future as well.
  11. I don't have to tell anyone that John Cena's Instagram is one of the weirdest places on the internet. It's so random that we never know what this guy is even trying to say, and actually, that is his intention. It's like a piece of art which is up for interpretation. But, whatever the case may be, sometimes his random pictures catch every Indian's eye and desi people simply get confused and weirdly proud about it. So, even though a lot of people didn't care much about Gandhi Jayanti yesterday, other than the fact we got an extra holiday because of it of course, the most exciting thing that happened on 2nd October was finding out that John Cena is bigger fan of 'bapu' than all of us. View this post on Instagram A post shared by John Cena (@johncena) on Oct 2, 2018 at 6:22am PDT Whenever a global star mentions anything remotely related to India, all desi people find out about it, obviously. So, it did not come as a surprise that the comment section of this particular picture was also filled with Indians. He really is, though. See? That's an unfortunate typo. This guy gets it! There's Hindi also. Wow, so proud. Yes, that's why he posted it. John, we know you want to maintain your dramatic and mysterious aesthetic on Instagram, but you don't have to follow the 'you can't see me' philosophy everywhere. Sometimes, a little context would be nice. While we're on the topic of John Cena posting random pictures of Indians, here's the long list of celebrities that Gandhi Ji has finally managed to join. Previously, he's posted Shah Rukh Khan. View this post on Instagram A post shared by John Cena (@johncena) on Aug 15, 2018 at 6:44pm PDT Sachin Tendulkar. 12. John Lennon- the man whose songs and ideologies have ruled a millennial's life at some point in time, be it through the meaningful lyrics that touched a million chords with his audience or his active pacifism and rebellion against the society, that inspired an entire generation of young men and women of his time and after. © johnlennon John Lennon continues to live on, not only through his classic compositions but also through his distinguished way with words, which have served to make many of us make sense of this world and our lives a little better. The following quotes by the legend, will not only guide your experiences in the ever mind-boggling 20s, but will also help you take on life with a pinch of salt: 1. “Life is what happens to you when you're busy making other plans.” The 20s of one's life is a kind of a mixed bag of goodies, you never know what tomorrow might bring your way, yet you never stop making plans. But as Lennon said, life will happen in the moments that you never get to plan in the first place. © johnlennon 2. “I'm not going to change the way I look or the way I feel to conform to anything. I've always been a freak. So I've been a freak all my life and I have to live with that, you know. I'm one of those people.” If you're in your 20s, you know the constant push one faces to conform to the notion of the “ideals” present in every society, be it with regards to your career choices, relationships or even your food habits. Well, you don't have to live your life on anybody else's terms. 3. “If we cannot love ourselves, we cannot fully open to our ability to love others or our potential to create.” Very, very poignant even in today's time. No individual is spared from the scrutiny and judgement that our society has come to understand as its birthright, but regardless of how they try to label you, you gotta love yourself first for every other thing to work out. © johnlennon 4. “We live in a world where we have to hide to make love, while violence is practised in broad daylight.” We need not say much on this one. We have been witness to numerous incidents that follow this statement to the T in India, yet the message lies in the fact that we must not participate or encourage violence in any of its forms. Make love, not war remember? 5. “Trying to please everybody is impossible – if you did that, you'd end up in the middle with nobody liking you. You've just got to make the decision about what you think is your best, and do it.” Another one, not even one of us can deny having given in to at some point in time. But sooner or later, we come to realise the worthlessness of it all. We can't please everyone, so it's better we do more of what pleases us (without hurting/offending anyone, of course). © johnlennon 6. “There's nowhere you can be that isn't where you're meant to be.” Remember these words by heart. Over the next couple of years, you'll find yourself in situations that don't make sense to you at all, and you will want to scream “why is this happening to me?”. That is when you remember this quote and keep pushing through it all. 7. “A mistake is only an error, it becomes a mistake when you fail to correct it.” Well, our 20s is THE time when we make the most stupid, most hilarious and at times, the most tragic mistakes of our lives, but you know what, we can decide whether to learn from it and correct ourselves, or let it decide who we are as a person. © johnlennon 8. “Produce your own dream. If you want to save Peru, go save Peru. It's quite possible to do anything, but not if you put it on the leaders and the parking meters. Don't expect Carter or Reagan or John Lennon or Yoko Ono or Bob Dylan or Jesus Christ to come and do it for you. You have to do it yourself.” Well, if it's that degree you're after, or that dream job you've been itching to apply for, just go and do it. Don't wait for that internship or your exams to guide your fate. You do you, and live that dream! 9. “Time you enjoy wasting, was not wasted.” Oh yeah! All those mass bunks, parties and vacays with friends is worth it all. This one will help keep the guilt at bay. © johnlennon 10. “When you do something beautiful and nobody noticed, do not be sad. For the sun, every morning is a beautiful spectacle and yet most of the audience still sleeps.” Well, if the man means anything to you, take his word for it. Even the Gita approves of this ideology. Keep doing good even when no one's watching. That's where all the satisfaction lies. 11. “Being honest may not get you a lot of friends but it'll always get you the right ones.” These words are pure gold and be sure you have them by heart, 'cause in the years to come, this will hold true for you on a LOT of occasions. © johnlennon 12. “What we've got to do is keep hope alive. Because without it we'll sink.” Lastly, when the 20s and the adulting that finally comes with it seems like a hopeless, uphill battle, this quote is exactly what you need to do. These are gems, right? And pretty relatable.
  13. You don't expect the richest family in our country to do anything ordinary which cannot be turned into extraordinary with their Midas' touch, right? 14. If you've faithfully watched “The Office” for nine years, it's difficult to envision John Krasinski play another character other than the Dunder Mifflin Paper Company's second-man-in-command, Jim Halpert. Amazon Prime Video But he proved his versatility as an actor and a writer in this year's “The Quiet Place”. But fret not Krasinski fans, he is making another appearance and much closer to you this time. Check out Amazon Prime Video's amped-up new series “Jack Ryan” starting today where he plays Tom Clancy's iconic CIA man fighting the bad guys and plunging headfirst into a firestorm of bullets and bombs. Amazon Prime Video Amazon Prime Video's “Jack Ryan” is a modern-day prequel to (but not based on) Clancy's novels and the five movies. So TV Jack starts out as a low-level analyst at Langley. There's a quiet, even nerdy, nature about him. And there's a little bit of Jim Halpert in him still: when we first meet Jack, he's, you guessed it, an office desk-jockey. But the security of his desk job leaves him wrenched. He's into fantasy baseball, his cubicle is lathered in sticky notes and crunching numbers is his jam. But not for too long. After discovering a string of dubious bank transfers, the CIA analyst uncovers a growing terrorist threat bent on carrying out an attack on the United States. Amazon Prime Video What happens next, is for you to find out. What are you waiting for then? I know what I am binge-watching this weekend. Watch it here.
  15. Aamir Khan wowed the audience when he took up the role of ACP Rathod in 'Sarfarosh'. From the script to the stellar acting and even the songs of this superbly done movie were a major hit. Aamir won hearts as the emotionally vulnerable IPS officer. While it has taken over two decades of wait for all the fans, it seems like a sequel to 'Sarfarosh' is finally happening! However, as per the recent reports in Mid Day, John Abraham might be seen as ACP Rathod and not Aamir Khan. © Instagram Apparently the director John Matthew Matthan has approached John for the role and the sequel will now focus on the whole Naxal movement in the country. "Abraham and Matthan are in advance talks for the film. The sequel will revolve around the Naxal movement and red corridor in India. The first instalment touched upon this topic in passing. There is a possibility that it will take off from there”. The director hasn't confirmed or denied the reports as it is still in the scripting stage at the moment. Whatever the story might be, we can't wait for the movie to roll out soon. John Abraham is currently in a very good stage of his career and has been getting rave reviews for his recent acting in 'Parmanu'.
  16. Even at 45 and with barely a few movies in his hands — John Abraham is still looking like he's here to cross the finish line first. Look at his freshly-buzzed haircut, his massive (envious) guns and those aviators that only define a star; the lad's clearly only here for the kill. In fact, despite his gigantic size, muscles and leg-day-all-week legs, the man doesn't appear like he's trying to put his body on display. He dresses incredibly well, we must say. And while he's at it, he also ensures that he relates well to the masses. In another episode of I'm-a-relatable-celeb, for a Radio City event in Mumbai, the actor turned to a rather easy, simple, everyday outfit, featuring every man's favourite fabric and a sartorial sight, that was fitting him like it was stitched around his body. © Viral Bhayani Let's first establish, that the guy hardly ever has a stylist by his side. His apparel decisions, style moves and almost everything he does in the fashion territory; are all things decided by the guy personally. Agreed, he doesn't succumb to groundbreaking pieces anyway, but at least he nails what he attempts to do. For #1, once again, the guy has turned to denim for this outing here. Proving, no matter how many times he dresses in the day, his jeans will always act like his holy grail. Let's not forget, they're skimming him right on the quads, without actually clinging to them. Just a white T-shirt topped with a denim shirt too, is a clear sign of how much the guy loves his ordinary-guy gear. © Viral Bhayani Throw in the white sneakers into this discussion and you'd realise, how easy this outfit is to cop in your life. Three apparel pieces, a versatile pair of footwear and classic Top Gun-sunnies are all you need for a terrific combo. The actor is really a one-a-kind actor: grounded, easy, non-fussy and very casual when it comes to his style. Remember when he wore a similar outfit to an engagement party? Not his best move, though. © Viral Bhayani All in all, let's just say, it's this innate quality of the lad (of being supremely relatable to the masses), that even today, is keeping him on our radar. Plus, this outfit in particular, is easily available at the mall and perfect for every body type.
