  5. Respawn's 'Apex Legends' has been hitting some impressive gaming milestone since it's launch. The game recently hit 50 million players worldwide, and now it's been brought to light that the title has become the biggest free-to-play launch of all time. © Respawn According to a report by market research firm Superdata, 'Apex Legends' is not just a big hit for EA, it's also the became biggest free-to-play title launch of all time by pulling in a whopping $92 million in revenue in its launch month i.e. February across all platforms. Not just that, 'Apex Legends' also became one of the top ten grossing games in February. Reportedly, most of the money which 'Apex Legends' made was on consoles, not PC. The game ranked fourth in console revenue and sixth in PC among all titles. Here, take a look: © Superdata 'Fortnite', as you can see, still topped 'Apex Legends' on both the platforms by generating more than $300 million in a single month. Yes, 'Apex Legends' may not have killed 'Fortnite' in terms of the revenue, but there's no denying that 'Apex Legends' is just as popular as 'Fortnite', if not more. I mean, I personally play 'Apex Legends' a lot more than 'Fortnite' nowadays, and I know I am not alone. 'Apex Legends', in case you don't know, is a free-to-play title that's available on EA's Origin. The game has revenue streams via its virtual coin currency, which allows players to purchase Apex Packs and splurge on cosmetic upgrades. In fact, even some legends like Mirage, Caustic and the new Octane are behind a paywall for those who want to add them quickly instead of earning points to acquire them.

  7. The devil works hard but people who make memes on Twitter work harder. This has been proven time and again and it's still surprising how quickly they work. In case you missed it, the first trailer for 'RAW - Romeo, Akbar, Walter' dropped today and everyone could already tell that another name will be soon be added to John Abraham's long list of hit patriotic movies. Set against the backdrop of the Indo-Pak war of 1971, 'RAW' traces the journey of a young bank employee who is trained as an Indian spy and sent to Pakistan to gather intel. The movie sounds absolutely great but the main thing that stood out to people were a few dialogues from the trailer and not even an hour after the trailer came out, the same quotes had been turned into hilarious memes. People added their own context to two specific dialogues - “Bahar nikalne ke saare raaste band ho chuke hai” and “Main tujhe aise performance ke liye train karna chahta hun, jis se hindustan ka aane wala kal badal sakta hai” - to get a lot of funny tweets. 8. 'Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil, and Vile' - the name of the movie about Ted Bundy precisely sums up the serial killer but some people are not sure about his portrayal in it. As soon as the trailer of the much-anticipated movie starring Zac Efron as the notorious killer dropped, people had concerns about the makers trying to humanize Ted Bundy and turning it into an almost rom-com, instead of showing him as a cold-blooded murderer, who killed 30 or more women. It's here! First Teaser Trailer for #ExtremelyWickedShockinglyEvilAndVile pic.twitter.com/AyHc3J26jC — Zac Efron (@ZacEfron) January 25, 2019 The main concern comes from the glorification of his crimes and how it would affect the people who were impacted by his crimes. However, a lot of people argued that Ted Bundy was supposed to be this charming, charismatic guy and that's exactly how he got so many of his victims. While no one can judge the movie by just its trailer, everyone agreed that the music was too inappropriate and made it seem like a superhero movie instead of a creepy crime story. Here's what everyone's saying: Yep, the music was bad. That music choice was awful. It should be creepy. People should feel disgusted watching this trailer. You already ruined people's first impressions on the movie... ð https://t.co/NNDTkAfcC2 — syzahmd (@syaza_hamid_) January 27, 2019 Is it romantic, tho? I feel so bad for the families of the victims that have to sit there and see their terrors revived as a witty romantic thriller https://t.co/uP4y03XSBU — anime yitties (@peachesfrfr) January 26, 2019 He was a monster, for sure. i mean it looks good but why the music? this film is portraying a literal serial killer that existed and did horrible things in real life at least make it seem that way instead of romanticizing a monster. https://t.co/uGKbl67eC1 — Nah (@Jullian1402) January 27, 2019 Way to go. The music makes me feel ill. How you gonna play fucking action music with a film about ted bundy who raped and killed "over 30, perhaps as many as over 100" women. Barely touches on it in the trailer lol. Way to go https://t.co/we8aH2HOe0 — eva i guess (@evaiguess) January 27, 2019 Just read the title to see how horrible he was. why did they market this like it's a super hero movie and not a movie about someone who kills humans for fun. https://t.co/Wb2sfU5WJb — honeybð (@KalliyahDejesus) January 27, 2019 Anyone could be a serial killer, tbh. Yall fr getting mad because they're showing what he was like instead of maybe thinking that not all serial killers look like monsters and they actually could be the cute neighbor? None's gonna think of him as daddy while watching him drag a corpse, use your head https://t.co/C0PzS0nNh4 — KTH1/TXT/ITZY are coming (@idlearity) January 26, 2019 Can't assume that, obviously. I feel that casting a teenage hearthrob as a serial killer was to really show that even the most charismatic normal ones can be sadistic,,,that being said the music for this trailer was a horrible choice, although one can't just assume jovial will be the tone of the film. https://t.co/3K8NddkECo — professional whiner (@shalini_vs_) January 26, 2019 The movie's director came out to clear some things. Exactly! https://t.co/V9KsCxldh6 — Joe Berlinger (@joeberlinger) January 26, 2019 I don't see it. and in this moment, watching the ted bundy tapes, i realized just how spot on casting zac efron as ted bundy was......this is unsettling pic.twitter.com/07lsdQBDZW — JOANNA (@Jobazzle) January 24, 2019 Exactly. Zac Efron as Ted Bundy is kinda perfect casting cause you can't believe that he could possibly play a terrifying serial killer in the same way that you couldn't have looked at Ted Bundy and believed that he *was* a terrifying serial killer. https://t.co/kew3IpkvVf — John Squires (@FreddyInSpace) January 25, 2019 We can never ever forget Troy Bolton. Instead of sexualizing zac Efron as ted bundy, let's applaud him for being such a great actor and being able to go from playing a singing basketball player to a serial killer — Liz (@ultralizzete) January 27, 2019 Okay, this is just bad usage of words. "Ted bundy isn't being romanticized!" : pic.twitter.com/o6RWqnVOMS — Savannah Clemmons (@savclemm) January 27, 2019 Couldn't agree more. why is everyone saying ted bundy is cute when he looks like human shrek pic.twitter.com/a8PlKgi0Ys — yeehaw (@sluttydonutts) January 27, 2019 It's sad that it will for sure happen. Can we not sexulize Ted Bundy? He raped, murdered, and decapitated women and had *** with their dead bodies. Not here for this hyper-sexualized Zac Efron film. I know the youth of twitter will obsess over him, and I'd prefer not to read thirst tweets about a serial murderer — Kayla Stetzel (@KaylaStetzel) January 26, 2019 While sexualizing him online is wrong on so many levels, this is just spot on. Ted Bundy: *used his charm to lure his victims* Film about Ted Bundy: *shows his charm* People on the internet: how DARE They romanticise a murderer of women who MURDERED WOMEN!?!?!? — Taylor (@finejostens) January 27, 2019 A much deeper point. People thinking Ted Bundy is being "romanticized" by using a hot actor is exactly the problem with us - it is hard to accept someone as good looking as Zac Efron as capable of evil. That's called the "Halo Effect", and celebs, good-looking people, politicians get away coz of that — Albert Pagunsan (@albert_pagunsan) January 28, 2019 Yep. ted bundy is portrayed as a handsome and charming serial killer because...he was handsome and charming serial killer...pic.twitter.com/z2r89gvYPl — spare ts7 ma'am 𤲠(@moneyinabag) January 28, 2019 I'm so here for Ted Bundy-Zac Efron memes. 12. Last month Samsung showed off a brand new concept phone that has a foldable screen and closes just like a book. The current smartphone market has become extremely saturated and demands a unique offering. This is the core reason why brands have been trying new things like edge-to-edge displays, sliding cameras, and dual display setups. Dubbed the "Galaxy F" or "Galaxy Fold", it was shown-off for a very short period under dimmed lights to protect its design aspects. Samsung is calling its display technology "Infinity Flex" and claims it can be folded to fit inside a pocket. The display will measure 7.3-inch with a 1536 x 2152p resolution and 4.2:3 aspect ratio in an unfolded state. © LetsGoDigital Now, a recent report by a Korean market research group has perfectly detailed interesting bits of specs about Samsung's foldable smartphone. It is expected to have a total battery backup of 6000mAh and will consist of two batteries, one for each half of the chassis, and the suggested battery size combines the capacity of both batteries It will be powered by the Samsung Exynos 9820 and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, depending on the market. Along with the beefy processor, it shall house 8GB of RAM along with 128GB internal storage. The handset is also expected to feature a dual 12MP primary camera setup paired with an 8MP front-facing selfie camera. © YouTube The report claims that all the information has been verified with the component suppliers and further adds it will have two cameras on the back with 12-megapixel sensors and an 8-megapixel on the cover. Suppliers of OLED screens, flexible printed circuit boards, and batteries are expected to benefit the most from the new form factors. Samsung is the leader in display technology and is expected to maintain supremacy over competitors like LG until 2020. © Reuters However, the cost of all this technology and flexibility is not going to be cheap. The phone will cost almost 70 percent more to make than the Galaxy S9+ at a whopping US$ 636.70 (Rs 45,500). The firm claims that it will carry a 65 percent markup and sell for a whopping US$ 1,800 (Rs 1,30,000). The price of foldable phones is expected to go down till US$ 1,300 (Rs 93,000) by 2022. 13. Recently, the Indian Government passed the first phase of Drone Regulation in the country, which takes any remote-operated flying object into consideration. When we usually talk about drones, we mean unmanned aerial vehicles that we've seen in the movies or smaller scale equipment used for cinematography and surveying. Actually, a drone is not just limited to the air, as we've seen multiple applications of similar remotely operated vehicles underwater, as well as on the ground. Bomb defusing squads have been using ground vehicular drones for years now and hundreds of submersibles are responsible for making sure that oil is drilled without any spillage or that our internet cables are safe. © Trend Hunter One such spectacular application of drones is being seen at the Great Barrier Reef. Australian researchers have unveiled a robot submarine able to hunt and kill predatory crown-of-thorns starfish. It has been named RangerBot and was developed with a grant from Google. While a plethora of issues are still plaguing the reef, including coral bleaching, pollution, industrialisation, and over-fishing, human beings are no saints and are definitely the root cause of the destruction of the global flora-fauna, however, there's someone else who's responsible as well - the crown of thorns Starfish. © BarrierReef The Starfish has been known to cause depletion of the reef by eating the coral in mass outbreaks. It has been recognised as one of the three major threats to the World Heritage-listed Great Barrier Reef. The RangerBot can identify these notorious Starfish' and instigate an injection that is fatal for the Starfish only and doesn't damage anything else in the reef. Other than neutralising the Starfish' it also can monitor a wide range of issues that the coral reefs are facing, including coral bleaching, water quality, and pest species. The drone can stay underwater almost three times longer than a human diver, meaning it can easily scale more area and map the wide expanse of the reef. © Jon Hanson / WikiMedia The project is a collaboration between the Queensland University of Technology, Google, and the Great Barrier Reef Foundation. "RangerBot is the world's first underwater robotic system designed specifically for coral reef environments, using only robot-vision for real-time navigation, obstacle avoidance and complex science missions," said Matthew Dunbabin, the QUT professor who unveiled the submarine. It's become a place where rumours and fake updates travel like wildfire and threaten to destroy the peace and sanity we possess as a society, thanks to a handful of tech-savvy, active internet operatives, who never fail to cease the chance to have a few jesting moments. © pixabay-free to use What they don't realise, however, is that such misrepresentations and sarcastic pieces have the power to whip up abundant trouble online, while the repercussions dribble slowly onto the offline space. Since we got a taste of our share of having to deal with the fakes, here's giving you an update on the ones that you must steer clear of ASAP. To Give You A Better Idea © pixabay-free to use While you must have already figured it out for yourself, this story gives you a quick heads up on some of the fake news that is steadily surfacing on the internet and social media around the Kerala floods. All you need to do is identify them and nip in the bud before it turns into a pain in the arse for unassuming folks like many of us. Fake News Alert 1 The most recent piece of information, or rather misleading information, that's surfaced across a number of social media channels is this rant by someone who goes by the name of Suresh Kochattil, who has now also been identified as an aspiring politician. As can be seen from the post above, Kochattil is seen claiming that the elites of Kerala would not care for people's handouts and one must check with proper authorities before sending across materials, since as per his personal research, more than 200 truck-loads of material are waiting at Coimbatore and Mysore. Thus, what people need is manpower and skilled labourers, plumbers, electricians and the likes, instead of money and materials since most Malayalis are rich people with ample money. Naturally, he has been bashed for his statements by the public for his uninvited claims and statements. The Indian Army as well as Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan have condemned such acts and have warned that stringent action will be taken against the culprits. Which is why we say, cross-check before you send that forward. Fake News Alert 3 © Twitter Though this story might have been put together as a satirical piece, it has backfired big time! A “satirical news portal” published a fake story on the floods claiming that a man lost his life after he refused to wear a saffron coloured life jacket that was offered to him during rescue operations because the colour is affiliated with Hindutva. Perhaps this was meant to be a critique of what our nation has come to of late. But that aspect of our society could have been mirrored in a different manner and not by playing on people's sentiments in a time of crisis, and surely not by adding political colour to it in order to invigorate people's political differences. © pixabay-free to use There might just be more of such fake news lurking in the shadows to pounce upon unassuming people and we must be wary of them. This menace is only hurting those who are actually trying to do some good in the flood-ravaged state.
  15. Almost every other dude these days joins a gym in hopes of building abs. Blame it on Instagram, every skinny guy next door with a poorly developed core is a fitness model or at least, introduces himself like that. Let me start by saying that you can get to see your abs only if you are at a certain low body fat level (less than 12% for most). If you are carrying layers of fat around your midsection, ab exercises can`t do anything for you. Attain a lower body fat percentage by dieting and training and add the following ab exercises in your routine to see your abs more prominently. 1. Leg Raise © Thinstock Leg raises work your abs and the obliques, and is fairly popular. That also makes it one of the most common exercises done with the most butchered form. The problem occurs when people start extending their legs fully in any variant of leg raise. They end up using their 'psoas major muscle' more than the abs. This can overtime result in lower back pain. As a beginner, never start with hanging leg raise. It is an advanced variation which can be done only if you have mastered basic versions like lying knee raise, lying bent leg raise and lying straight leg raise. Once you are comfortable with the basic variants, go ahead with hanging leg raise. 2. Ab Wheel Rollout © Pixabay To do this highly effective exercise, you need a basic ab wheel available at most sports store and online costing anywhere between Rs.300-1500. Counted among the best anterior core building exercise, you need to have a good base of training abdominal muscles via planks and sit-ups so as not to find yourself in pain after doing it. 3. Wood Chopper © Leanitup Also known as cable chop, this exercise is unique in its own way since it`s a multidirectional ab movement working both abs and obliques. Another best thing about this exercise is anyone from beginners to advanced can do this exercise by varying the load on cable station. There are two ways to perform this exercise a) High to low chop: Set the cable at high position on the cable station using a rope or D handle bar. Stand at approximately arms length away from the pulley. Grabbing the handle with both hands, pull it down across your body towards the knee farther from station while rotating your torso slightly. b) Low to high chop:-Cable should be set up at low position and you will now direct the handle towards the shoulder farther from station. Note:-Rotating the torso too much can take the tension away from abs. 4. Compound Exercises © YouTube Here`s the real deal. I don`t think we can make the best out of any ab building program if we aren`t doing basic compound lifts including barbell rows, barbell squatting(front and back), overhead pressing ,deadlifts and push-ups, etc. All these exercise put considerable tension on your midsection working that core without you even knowing. 20. It seems like previous leaks are coming to a full circle as a leaked image of the upcoming smartphone showed off a glass back. Since the leak was discovered so early, we weren't sure whether it would be a feature on the final design or not. © Weibo Having said that, all doubts have been put to rest and OnePlus CEO Pete Lau confirmed that the device will come with a glass back. The feature was confirmed in a very long post on the company's forum and here's what was said: "...we've also tried to incorporate glass materials on OnePlus 6. Although OnePlus is not the first manufacturer to use glass, we are confident that we are providing users with our interpretation of a familiar material." "OnePlus 6's glass design is centered around creating a “sense of value” and “premium hand-feel.” As I mentioned at the beginning, people relate deeply to the products they use. We gave a lot of thought to how users should feel when they use the OnePlus 6. The advantages of glass over metal are manifold: glass communicates a transparent, bright, and pure feeling. The way glass transforms under different lighting is a particularly important challenge—the OnePlus design team tested over 70 glass prototypes before selecting the best one. At the same time, we always want to create devices that feel premium to the touch.” There is no mention whether wireless charging will be a feature on the OnePlus 6 or not. However, a logical reasoning would suggest that would be the reason why the company is switching to a glass design. The only reason why a glass back would be included would be because it features wireless charging as switching from a more durable material to a fragile glass back wouldn't make absolute sense. © Twitter The company has already made many of the specifications known to the public such as the OnePlus 6 all be water resistant, have a 256Gb variant that will be coupled with 8GB of RAM and will also get an Avengers-themed variant. As far as we can see, OnePlus is hitting all the right notes and we can only know more once it is unveiled by the company in the coming few weeks. Source: OnePlus Forums
  21. If you haven't been following Darshan Raval's dope Instagram, let's inform you: fashion happens there first. He may be a singer/composer by profession, but if his social media is any indication, the man's got a swing to his style too. Come summer, he's spotted in fresh #OOTDs and if spoken of winter, his knack of layering in the chills is a sight worth a notice. He's a menswear enthusiast who takes his style seriously. To find the best of fashion in his recent Instagram uploads, here's a round-up of the 7 best outfits we spotted: 1. As we mentioned, there's nothing taking away from Raval, that he knows how to exactly dress for the season. However, while the summer may be supremely hot, Darshan knows that suits are evergreen. Having said that, he wears them in temperature-appropriate hues and his tailor's his best friend. Thank You Mysore â¤ï¸ Lots of love to Creata College :) Styled by : @aditikhannastyle Customized suit by : @suitup.in Plimsoll sneakers with fringe: @thealternateindia A post shared by Darshan Raval (@darshanravaldz) on Apr 7, 2018 at 12:41pm PDT 2. As the rule of street style-approved gear goes, you better be sporting a ripped piece of clothing in 2018. Raval's no far behind. But while you're only fixated on your pairs of ripped jeans, the singer's checked shirts are nowhere behind. They're savage, bear dishevelled hems and are always paired with safe colour ways. Don't forget i love you guys â¤ï¸ #letsstarttheday #spreadlove A post shared by Darshan Raval (@darshanravaldz) on Mar 28, 2018 at 3:56am PDT 3. But even with 1.2 million followers on Instagram, Raval knows that he's like an ordinary human. While travelling, even he needs to choose comfort > style and do what he does best: dress effortlessly. This eased-out ensemble — a graphic T-shirt, joggers and basic-arse kicks — is what your next airport outfit should look like. And let's admit, while Raval can easily ace a suit in the day (with a daylight hue), he can wear them to semi-formal settings in the evening too. Just ditch your boring old black suit for a grey and bring in a pop of colour for the ladies to notice. Easy. A crisp white shirt + classic wash jeans + sneakers can never go out of style. 22. In a country like India where cricketers are worshipped as demigods, the game of cricket undeniably reigns supreme above all. While the contest between the bat and ball has struck a chord with Indians, it has left other sports like football and badminton lurking in the shadows, robbing them of their rightful recognition. But, the present-day scenario is no longer the same. Today, while cricket continues to dominate, other sports like football and badminton have finally begun to break the shackles in popularity. On one hand, where the advent of Indian Super League (ISL) has given the Indian football fans something to cheer for, the ever-growing stature of Saina Nehwal and PV Sindhu has made us reignite our love for shuttlecocks. © BCCL In the age where sports have become an integral part of our go-to fitness regime, badminton has established itself as one of the most convenient and cost-effective options. Unlike cricket and even football, the game of badminton is short, exciting and it doesn't punch a big hole in your pocket for the necessary types of equipment. But, despite its feasibility, buying the right badminton equipment can often be challenging, especially when it comes to picking a racket. Whether you're an average Joe playing in your backyard or a prolific professional looking to turn heads on the national circuit, badminton rackets eventually play a pivotal role in deciding your fate on the court. From ever-confusing shapes, complicated sizes to perplexed strings, picking the right badminton racket for yourself is far from a walk in the park. And, while relying on the cunning salesman will only leave you penniless, we've narrowed down a list of five best badminton rackets to save you the horror. Yonex Nanoray 900 © BCCL Founded by Minoru Yoneyama in 1946, Yonex has undoubtedly established itself as the biggest brand in badminton. Amongst its wide variety of badminton rackets, Nanoray 900 is arguably the one that screams success. A successor to Nanospeed 9900, the NR900 is composed of a totally new frame that suppresses the angle of the shuttlecock for a completely new angle to flay the powerful smashes. The light frame allows for an easy flowing swing speed without having to thump the shuttle hard. For those who rely on drop shots in their game, the NR900 provides plenty of speed with less feel on the impact. But, this gem of a racket really shines on the flat drives where a player can enjoy great power and speed from a relatively little swing. And, if that's not appealing enough, the fact that Saina Nehwal uses NR900 as her go-to weapon to slay her opponents surely makes this racket a must-buy for badminton enthusiasts. Price: Rs 13,429 Grab it here! Yonex Voltric Z-Force II © BCCL If Saina brought Indian badminton to the international scene, then PV Sindhu is undeniably the shuttler who's building on the legacy. The 22-year-old has become the new poster girl of Indian badminton especially after her silver-medal finish in the 2016 Rio Olympics. While acquiring Sindhu's impeccable skills might be more than a challenge, you can surely get your hands on her weapon of mass destruction - Yonex Voltric Z-Force II. A successor to Voltric Z-Force, this beast of a racket -launched in 2014 - is a popular choice amongst many international stars. This is a head-heavy racket that comes with distinguishing features - a unique smaller head, the thinnest shaft in Yonex history, more aerodynamic and tungsten-infused grommet strips. Compared to other rackets, Voltric Z-Force II has a sweet spot placed slightly higher for more speed. The thinner shaft is noticeably efficient and combined with the new aerodynamic headwork, this racket really packs a punch. The smashes are powerful and accurate, while fast exchanges are easier without the early onset of muscle fatigue. For the defensive players, Z-Force II's easy maneuverability will allow them to get their racket into place faster to return the shuttle. Price: Rs 10,480 Grab it here! Yonex Duora Z-Strike © BCCL A force of nature on the court and a smiling beauty off it, Carolina Marin has established herself as one of the most exciting talents on the badminton circuit. With her fiery, never-say-die attitude, the Spaniard has notched up numerous records at a young age. If the competitive skill-set gives Marin an edge over others, her racket - Yonex Duora Z-Strike - further ensures a favorable result for the champion shuttler. An evenly-balanced racket with extra stiff frame and slim shaft, Duora Z-Strike follows the Z-Force II with a compact head. Surprisingly, there is more lateral movement with this frame rather than the usual Yonex 'solid-as-a-rock' specification. The clears are perfect and drop shots seem accurate with more balanced net play alongside controlled smashes. There are no mishit issues with the compact head and barely any evidence of fatigue - thanks to its dual-frame technology. Defensively, Duora Z-Strike might not have a super-fast frame, but it is indeed a solid performer. An offensive racket specially made to boost power, speed, and control - giving players a tactical upper hand on the court, Duora Z-Strike is an outright winner. Price: Rs 11,999 Grab it here! VICTOR Jetspeed S10 © BCCL Just like Yonex, VICTOR is another popular brand that has excelled in producing badminton equipment. Amongst its ever-increasing range of products, the Jetspeed series - which replaced its popular Bravesword range - has given international badminton some of the best rackets over the years. And, Jetspeed S10 is arguably the best amongst the lot. After the early Jetspeeds failed to find suitors, the launch of S10 in 2015 rapidly became a racket of choice by numerous international stars including India's Ashwini Ponnappa. The racket boasts a thinner shaft with Shark skin technology and a slightly smaller head. Despite its even-balanced offering, S10 oozes power too. The shots off this beast are so quick that you almost have to reign in the racket a little to maintain control. The swing speed makes the clip returns simple with very little movement. Slice returns are also quick and the beauty with S10 is the extra power of the wrist it allows for the players to generate in their shots. And, if you want to replicate Lee Chong Wei's thunderous smashes, then S10 is your best bet. Price: Rs 14,500 Grab it here! Li-Ning Woods N90 II © Reuters An arch-rival to Yonex, Li-Ning has slowly yet gradually established itself as one of the prominent brands in international badminton. And, with its popular 'N' series, the Chinese manufacturer has taken the art of making badminton rackets to a whole new level. With the rackets made from military grade carbon fibre, Li-Ning's 'N' series quickly become a popular choice amongst badminton stars. Amongst the popular series, one racket that stands a cut above the rest is Woods N90 II. This racket packs a punch with a great degree of power. With little torque on offer, the consistency in the hit is pretty good - thanks to the quality of construction. Being a head-heavy racket, the N90 II also offers great control and feel. When it comes to smashes and defensive work, the racket seems to do the job. The only drawback appears to be its maneuverability and you need strong wrists to see this racket work its magic. This is the same racket that was used by Lin Dan when he became World Champion in 2009, 2011 and 2013. Price: Rs 14,500 Grab it here!
  23. To be frank, we're always down for footwear wars. Especially, if they involve a multi-gunned human like Tiger Shroff (who's the stock-holder of some dope-arse gear), you're ought to tune in as the loudest cheerleaders. Fast forward from the last war we covered on MensXP, featuring Aayush Sharma and his son, we're here to talk of another one today, involving Bollywood's #Couple4Lyf. Also known as profit-inflaters of Indigo Deli in Bandra, Mumbai — Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani. Who were recently snapped in two styles of footwear, that are must-have (season-less) pairs for every man out there. Can we just head right into the images, please: © Viral Bhayani So there you have it: while Shroff found a friend in ankle-length leather boots today, Patani opted for crisp white sneakers (a unisex pair of must-have sneakers) here. But nevertheless, here's what we think: Besides this being a footwear war of sorts, it is also an exemplification of how a style of footwear can affect the vibe of your outfit. Take Tiger's aim with this ensemble for example: © Viral Bhayani If broken down, Tiger's opted for a classic white shirt with cargo/jog pants (with leather accents) for this appearance, finishing the look off with wayfarers and a rather, minimal timepiece. But what's to notice, is the fact that the vibe of the over-all outfit is mating quite well with the leather boots. © Viral Bhayani But while we're horribly missing the presence of a biker jacket here, over-all, Shroff has hit a 10-pointer with this one. This is plain, simple pairing that was brought into the world for maximal impact. The perfect fit, a safe palette; just what Tiger Shroff does best. © Viral Bhayani And lastly, if spoken of Disha Patani's choice of footwear (white sneakers), let's just say: it's no droop either. She may be appearing a lot more casual than Shroff here, that's only because of the white sneakers. All in all, looks like these #FashionTwins are a style phenomenon in themselves!
  24. Ever since the iPhone 7 removed the headphone jack, audio companies started releasing wireless Bluetooth devices for consumers. Not all of them deliver a great experience and some simply don't match up to the quality of an analog headphone. Bose's brand new SoundSport Free may be the answer to a true wireless earbud that delivers a supreme experience. The earbuds are designed to compete with Apple's AirPods and we feel, the company has surpassed the competition is almost every way. Here's what we think about the SoundSport Free: Design The SoundSport Free is larger than Apple's AirPods albeit more comfortable to place in your ear. It has a secure fit and is probably the only wireless earbuds that do not fall of when you're running at a high pace. The earbuds do not move around once fitted into your ear, and we tried to wiggle it out by aggressively shaking our head or by laying upside down — it didn't fall out. These wireless earbuds are the perfect companion for gym sessions, especially if you like to do the heavy lifting. © Bose These earbuds are very comfortable in terms of fit and will not leave you irritated even if you sweat a lot like me. If you prefer to run outdoors, the sound isolation is balanced perfectly so that you are aware of your surroundings (At 50% volume level). If you are in the gym and want to block all the annoying sounds, you can easily do so by simply increasing the volume to full. The most impressive feature on these wireless earbuds is the fact that it is IPX4 rated. This means that the wireless earbuds are rain and sweat resistant, but don't even think of swimming with these earbuds. Audio Quality When it comes to sound, I'm a bit anal due to my musical background and one thing I can confidently say is that the SoundSport Free left me very impressed. The sound is perfectly balanced in terms of highs, mids, and lows to give a complete experience. You can always make the sound a bit warmer by tweaking your smartphone's audio settings and it becomes the perfect wireless earbud for your workout. If you are looking for the best audio experience, the Bose SoundSport Free blows the AirPods out of the water. Connectivity & Ease Of Use The one thing that annoys me the most about wireless headphones is the process of connecting it to your device. Apple's W1chip made it very convenient to connect the AirPods with the iPhone 7 or any other device that came after. Bose successfully made it as easy to connect the SoundSport Free with your device. Initial setup requires you to pair via the Bose Connect App and once connected, it automatically connects to your device seamlessly © BCCL In terms of range, the SoundSport Free works great even if walls, doors or people are in the way of your device. During our testing, the SoundSport Free can easily receive signals without any interruptions even when you are 35 feet away from your smartphone. If you manage to lose your earbuds, the Bose Connect App has the 'Find My Buds' feature which shows the last location and time you used the headphones. This is one neat feature every wireless earbud should have as it is essential to know whether you have misplaced your earbuds and where exactly it may have happened. How Does it Perform? On the right earbud, you have a bunch of buttons that lets you control your music and also launch your Digital voice assistants such as Siri or Google Assistant. You can play/pause music, skip tracks, answer or reject calls with these buttons. These buttons make it easier to manage your music and also helps in multi-tasking if you get a lot of calls. The microphone on the earbuds is probably the best in terms of call quality as my fiancé could hear me talking clearly even though there was loud music in the background. Battery Life © Bose The wireless earbuds can last up to 5 hours on a single charge and can be extended with the carry case by an additional 10 hours. This is more than enough for your workout session or runs, even though the capacity is far less when compared to Apple's AirPods. One of the most likable features of the charging case is how fast it can charge the earbuds. It has a quick charge feature where the earbuds can be charged for 15 minutes and you'll get 45 minutes worth of audio playback. The Final Say Priced at Rs 18,9990, it is quite more expensive than the AirPods but it also offers unmatched audio quality. The wireless earbuds fit perfectly in the ear and do not fall out no matter how hard you try. The SoundSport Free is probably the only wireless earbud that has impressed me in the past two years and I would put all my money on it
  25. When it comes to suits, men hardly have alternate routes to take. It's either a single-breasted/double-breasted variant or plain, simple experiments with colours (on a good day). And that's all; that's probably the farthest they can go at the tailoring playground (if the psyche of the masses is any indication). But while that's the case with most countrymen, for Punjabi Mundas like Mika Singh, it's too boring a life to live. He prefers wearing the suit in whatever damn way he pleases, without making it look like he's going the extra mile. He's a Punjabi, so that innate ability is a god-gifted talent, you see. Like for example, he wears black blazers with electric blue trousers, but with brown lapels. I mean, who does that? © Times of India Crisp white blazers with black and gold detailing on the arms are Mika-staples too: © Times of India And as seen here, he's also into wearing tones and shades of the ocean, in one single outfit: © Times of India But that's Mika Singh, and that's the only way he sees himself: an evening-wear fanatic, palette-player, and an over-all controversial baller, so to say. Once again, to maintain his streak of some dope-arse suits, the singer emerged in a rather Valentine's-Special piece of tailoring. Almost like a reminder of his hugely-talked about crush on Rakhi Sawant: © Viral Bhayani Featuring a red, hot blazer with details that you'd usually find on a utilitarian piece of clothing — Mika's romantic layering piece is quite the choice for an eccentric, ballistic singer, who has always been known for his badassery in public, and for being very 'chill'. He's the buddy you can hang out with on a Saturday night, only if you're prepared for endless autograph requests. © Viral Bhayani What's to notice, however, is the fact that the rest of his outfit is minimal. While we wish he had opted for a round-collared T-shirt instead, the V-neck isn't bringing the outfit to shame in any way. As usual, Singh's thrown in his signature accessories into this ensemble, resulting in another splendid sartorial outing of himself. Takeaway: Don't shy away from coloured suits. They look just as good as the classic ones, but the trick lies in not making them look too clown-y. Tips for which, Mika Singh's already given here.
