  1. 'Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil, and Vile' - the name of the movie about Ted Bundy precisely sums up the serial killer but some people are not sure about his portrayal in it. As soon as the trailer of the much-anticipated movie starring Zac Efron as the notorious killer dropped, people had concerns about the makers trying to humanize Ted Bundy and turning it into an almost rom-com, instead of showing him as a cold-blooded murderer, who killed 30 or more women. It's here! First Teaser Trailer for #ExtremelyWickedShockinglyEvilAndVile pic.twitter.com/AyHc3J26jC — Zac Efron (@ZacEfron) January 25, 2019 The main concern comes from the glorification of his crimes and how it would affect the people who were impacted by his crimes. However, a lot of people argued that Ted Bundy was supposed to be this charming, charismatic guy and that's exactly how he got so many of his victims. While no one can judge the movie by just its trailer, everyone agreed that the music was too inappropriate and made it seem like a superhero movie instead of a creepy crime story. Here's what everyone's saying: Yep, the music was bad. That music choice was awful. It should be creepy. People should feel disgusted watching this trailer. You already ruined people's first impressions on the movie... ð https://t.co/NNDTkAfcC2 — syzahmd (@syaza_hamid_) January 27, 2019 Is it romantic, tho? I feel so bad for the families of the victims that have to sit there and see their terrors revived as a witty romantic thriller https://t.co/uP4y03XSBU — anime yitties (@peachesfrfr) January 26, 2019 He was a monster, for sure. i mean it looks good but why the music? this film is portraying a literal serial killer that existed and did horrible things in real life at least make it seem that way instead of romanticizing a monster. https://t.co/uGKbl67eC1 — Nah (@Jullian1402) January 27, 2019 Way to go. The music makes me feel ill. How you gonna play fucking action music with a film about ted bundy who raped and killed "over 30, perhaps as many as over 100" women. Barely touches on it in the trailer lol. Way to go https://t.co/we8aH2HOe0 — eva i guess (@evaiguess) January 27, 2019 Just read the title to see how horrible he was. why did they market this like it's a super hero movie and not a movie about someone who kills humans for fun. https://t.co/Wb2sfU5WJb — honeybð (@KalliyahDejesus) January 27, 2019 Anyone could be a serial killer, tbh. Yall fr getting mad because they're showing what he was like instead of maybe thinking that not all serial killers look like monsters and they actually could be the cute neighbor? None's gonna think of him as daddy while watching him drag a corpse, use your head https://t.co/C0PzS0nNh4 — KTH1/TXT/ITZY are coming (@idlearity) January 26, 2019 Can't assume that, obviously. I feel that casting a teenage hearthrob as a serial killer was to really show that even the most charismatic normal ones can be sadistic,,,that being said the music for this trailer was a horrible choice, although one can't just assume jovial will be the tone of the film. https://t.co/3K8NddkECo — professional whiner (@shalini_vs_) January 26, 2019 The movie's director came out to clear some things. Exactly! https://t.co/V9KsCxldh6 — Joe Berlinger (@joeberlinger) January 26, 2019 I don't see it. and in this moment, watching the ted bundy tapes, i realized just how spot on casting zac efron as ted bundy was......this is unsettling pic.twitter.com/07lsdQBDZW — JOANNA (@Jobazzle) January 24, 2019 Exactly. Zac Efron as Ted Bundy is kinda perfect casting cause you can't believe that he could possibly play a terrifying serial killer in the same way that you couldn't have looked at Ted Bundy and believed that he *was* a terrifying serial killer. https://t.co/kew3IpkvVf — John Squires (@FreddyInSpace) January 25, 2019 We can never ever forget Troy Bolton. Instead of sexualizing zac Efron as ted bundy, let's applaud him for being such a great actor and being able to go from playing a singing basketball player to a serial killer — Liz (@ultralizzete) January 27, 2019 Okay, this is just bad usage of words. "Ted bundy isn't being romanticized!" : pic.twitter.com/o6RWqnVOMS — Savannah Clemmons (@savclemm) January 27, 2019 Couldn't agree more. why is everyone saying ted bundy is cute when he looks like human shrek pic.twitter.com/a8PlKgi0Ys — yeehaw (@sluttydonutts) January 27, 2019 It's sad that it will for sure happen. Can we not sexulize Ted Bundy? He raped, murdered, and decapitated women and had *** with their dead bodies. Not here for this hyper-sexualized Zac Efron film. I know the youth of twitter will obsess over him, and I'd prefer not to read thirst tweets about a serial murderer — Kayla Stetzel (@KaylaStetzel) January 26, 2019 While sexualizing him online is wrong on so many levels, this is just spot on. Ted Bundy: *used his charm to lure his victims* Film about Ted Bundy: *shows his charm* People on the internet: how DARE They romanticise a murderer of women who MURDERED WOMEN!?!?!? — Taylor (@finejostens) January 27, 2019 A much deeper point. People thinking Ted Bundy is being "romanticized" by using a hot actor is exactly the problem with us - it is hard to accept someone as good looking as Zac Efron as capable of evil. That's called the "Halo Effect", and celebs, good-looking people, politicians get away coz of that — Albert Pagunsan (@albert_pagunsan) January 28, 2019 Yep. ted bundy is portrayed as a handsome and charming serial killer because...he was handsome and charming serial killer...pic.twitter.com/z2r89gvYPl — spare ts7 ma'am 𤲠(@moneyinabag) January 28, 2019 I'm so here for Ted Bundy-Zac Efron memes. Police: How many people did you kill? Ted Bundy: pic.twitter.com/QXSxoERf3x — Jack (@jacket_lunch) January 28, 2019 And, not Troy. t as in ted bundy 𤪠pic.twitter.com/0SYJlwIENb — ðð¶ð (@pharangry) January 27, 2019

  5. Last month Samsung showed off a brand new concept phone that has a foldable screen and closes just like a book. The current smartphone market has become extremely saturated and demands a unique offering. This is the core reason why brands have been trying new things like edge-to-edge displays, sliding cameras, and dual display setups. Dubbed the "Galaxy F" or "Galaxy Fold", it was shown-off for a very short period under dimmed lights to protect its design aspects. Samsung is calling its display technology "Infinity Flex" and claims it can be folded to fit inside a pocket. The display will measure 7.3-inch with a 1536 x 2152p resolution and 4.2:3 aspect ratio in an unfolded state. © LetsGoDigital Now, a recent report by a Korean market research group has perfectly detailed interesting bits of specs about Samsung's foldable smartphone. It is expected to have a total battery backup of 6000mAh and will consist of two batteries, one for each half of the chassis, and the suggested battery size combines the capacity of both batteries It will be powered by the Samsung Exynos 9820 and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, depending on the market. Along with the beefy processor, it shall house 8GB of RAM along with 128GB internal storage. The handset is also expected to feature a dual 12MP primary camera setup paired with an 8MP front-facing selfie camera. © YouTube The report claims that all the information has been verified with the component suppliers and further adds it will have two cameras on the back with 12-megapixel sensors and an 8-megapixel on the cover. Suppliers of OLED screens, flexible printed circuit boards, and batteries are expected to benefit the most from the new form factors. Samsung is the leader in display technology and is expected to maintain supremacy over competitors like LG until 2020. © Reuters However, the cost of all this technology and flexibility is not going to be cheap. The phone will cost almost 70 percent more to make than the Galaxy S9+ at a whopping US$ 636.70 (Rs 45,500). The firm claims that it will carry a 65 percent markup and sell for a whopping US$ 1,800 (Rs 1,30,000). The price of foldable phones is expected to go down till US$ 1,300 (Rs 93,000) by 2022. 6. Recently, the Indian Government passed the first phase of Drone Regulation in the country, which takes any remote-operated flying object into consideration. When we usually talk about drones, we mean unmanned aerial vehicles that we've seen in the movies or smaller scale equipment used for cinematography and surveying. Actually, a drone is not just limited to the air, as we've seen multiple applications of similar remotely operated vehicles underwater, as well as on the ground. Bomb defusing squads have been using ground vehicular drones for years now and hundreds of submersibles are responsible for making sure that oil is drilled without any spillage or that our internet cables are safe. © Trend Hunter One such spectacular application of drones is being seen at the Great Barrier Reef. Australian researchers have unveiled a robot submarine able to hunt and kill predatory crown-of-thorns starfish. It has been named RangerBot and was developed with a grant from Google. While a plethora of issues are still plaguing the reef, including coral bleaching, pollution, industrialisation, and over-fishing, human beings are no saints and are definitely the root cause of the destruction of the global flora-fauna, however, there's someone else who's responsible as well - the crown of thorns Starfish. © BarrierReef The Starfish has been known to cause depletion of the reef by eating the coral in mass outbreaks. It has been recognised as one of the three major threats to the World Heritage-listed Great Barrier Reef. The RangerBot can identify these notorious Starfish' and instigate an injection that is fatal for the Starfish only and doesn't damage anything else in the reef. Other than neutralising the Starfish' it also can monitor a wide range of issues that the coral reefs are facing, including coral bleaching, water quality, and pest species. The drone can stay underwater almost three times longer than a human diver, meaning it can easily scale more area and map the wide expanse of the reef. © Jon Hanson / WikiMedia The project is a collaboration between the Queensland University of Technology, Google, and the Great Barrier Reef Foundation. "RangerBot is the world's first underwater robotic system designed specifically for coral reef environments, using only robot-vision for real-time navigation, obstacle avoidance and complex science missions," said Matthew Dunbabin, the QUT professor who unveiled the submarine. 7. The age of the internet can lead to a zillion debacles within seconds. It's become a place where rumours and fake updates travel like wildfire and threaten to destroy the peace and sanity we possess as a society, thanks to a handful of tech-savvy, active internet operatives, who never fail to cease the chance to have a few jesting moments. © pixabay-free to use What they don't realise, however, is that such misrepresentations and sarcastic pieces have the power to whip up abundant trouble online, while the repercussions dribble slowly onto the offline space. Since we got a taste of our share of having to deal with the fakes, here's giving you an update on the ones that you must steer clear of ASAP. To Give You A Better Idea © pixabay-free to use While you must have already figured it out for yourself, this story gives you a quick heads up on some of the fake news that is steadily surfacing on the internet and social media around the Kerala floods. All you need to do is identify them and nip in the bud before it turns into a pain in the arse for unassuming folks like many of us. Fake News Alert 1 The most recent piece of information, or rather misleading information, that's surfaced across a number of social media channels is this rant by someone who goes by the name of Suresh Kochattil, who has now also been identified as an aspiring politician. As can be seen from the post above, Kochattil is seen claiming that the elites of Kerala would not care for people's handouts and one must check with proper authorities before sending across materials, since as per his personal research, more than 200 truck-loads of material are waiting at Coimbatore and Mysore. Thus, what people need is manpower and skilled labourers, plumbers, electricians and the likes, instead of money and materials since most Malayalis are rich people with ample money. Naturally, he has been bashed for his statements by the public for his uninvited claims and statements. Fake News Alert 2 Imposter wearing Army combat uniform in video spreading disinformation about rescue & relief efforts. Every effort by all & #IndianArmy aimed to overcome this terrifying human tragedy.Forward disinformation about #IndianArmy on WhatsApp +917290028579. We are at it #KeralaFloods pic.twitter.com/ncUR7tCkZW — ADG PI - INDIAN ARMY (@adgpi) August 19, 2018 The Indian Army took to Twitter in a measure to prevent the fake news formulated by a man identified as Unni Nair, who is also an ex-serviceman, in the form of a video message spreading false information about the relief work being carried out by the paramilitary and the government in the flood-hit areas of Kerala. The Indian Army as well as Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan have condemned such acts and have warned that stringent action will be taken against the culprits. Which is why we say, cross-check before you send that forward. Fake News Alert 3 © Twitter Though this story might have been put together as a satirical piece, it has backfired big time! A “satirical news portal” published a fake story on the floods claiming that a man lost his life after he refused to wear a saffron coloured life jacket that was offered to him during rescue operations because the colour is affiliated with Hindutva. Perhaps this was meant to be a critique of what our nation has come to of late. But that aspect of our society could have been mirrored in a different manner and not by playing on people's sentiments in a time of crisis, and surely not by adding political colour to it in order to invigorate people's political differences. © pixabay-free to use There might just be more of such fake news lurking in the shadows to pounce upon unassuming people and we must be wary of them. This menace is only hurting those who are actually trying to do some good in the flood-ravaged state.
  8. Almost every other dude these days joins a gym in hopes of building abs. Blame it on Instagram, every skinny guy next door with a poorly developed core is a fitness model or at least, introduces himself like that. Let me start by saying that you can get to see your abs only if you are at a certain low body fat level (less than 12% for most). If you are carrying layers of fat around your midsection, ab exercises can`t do anything for you. Attain a lower body fat percentage by dieting and training and add the following ab exercises in your routine to see your abs more prominently. 1. Leg Raise © Thinstock Leg raises work your abs and the obliques, and is fairly popular. That also makes it one of the most common exercises done with the most butchered form. The problem occurs when people start extending their legs fully in any variant of leg raise. They end up using their 'psoas major muscle' more than the abs. This can overtime result in lower back pain. As a beginner, never start with hanging leg raise. It is an advanced variation which can be done only if you have mastered basic versions like lying knee raise, lying bent leg raise and lying straight leg raise. Once you are comfortable with the basic variants, go ahead with hanging leg raise. 2. Ab Wheel Rollout © Pixabay To do this highly effective exercise, you need a basic ab wheel available at most sports store and online costing anywhere between Rs.300-1500. Counted among the best anterior core building exercise, you need to have a good base of training abdominal muscles via planks and sit-ups so as not to find yourself in pain after doing it. 3. Wood Chopper © Leanitup Also known as cable chop, this exercise is unique in its own way since it`s a multidirectional ab movement working both abs and obliques. Another best thing about this exercise is anyone from beginners to advanced can do this exercise by varying the load on cable station. There are two ways to perform this exercise a) High to low chop: Set the cable at high position on the cable station using a rope or D handle bar. Stand at approximately arms length away from the pulley. Grabbing the handle with both hands, pull it down across your body towards the knee farther from station while rotating your torso slightly. b) Low to high chop:-Cable should be set up at low position and you will now direct the handle towards the shoulder farther from station. Note:-Rotating the torso too much can take the tension away from abs. 4. Compound Exercises © YouTube Here`s the real deal. I don`t think we can make the best out of any ab building program if we aren`t doing basic compound lifts including barbell rows, barbell squatting(front and back), overhead pressing ,deadlifts and push-ups, etc. All these exercise put considerable tension on your midsection working that core without you even knowing.
