  1. Samsung has already confirmed that the company will be hosting its “Unpacked” launch event on February 11, 2020. It is usually the time when Samsung announces new Galaxy S phones and this year the Galaxy S20 is expected to launch. A previous leak suggested that the Galaxy S11 will probably be called Galaxy S20 and we can expect three models this year from the South Korean giant. © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla We kind of have an idea that the Galaxy S20 will feature some of the latest specifications thanks to a recent leak put together by Phone Arena which details every single piece of information about the three upcoming smartphones. In the below image, the three phones that will be launching are the Galaxy S20, S20 Plus and S20 Ultra. © Phone Arena The Galaxy S20 Ultra will be the first Samsung phone to sport a periscope zoom camera which will be an exclusive feature for the handset. The Galaxy S20 is also expected to launch on March 6, if this leak by Phone Arena is to be believed. At the moment, Phone Arena's information cannot be verified, which is why we advise you to take this leak with a pinch of salt. © MensXP/Akshay Bhalla Pricing for the three smartphones also leaked, revealing a $799 price tag for the S20, $999 for S20+ and $1,099 for the S20 Ultra. The Indian prices for the smartphones are expected to be different as Samsung tends to price it a bit lower in India, thanks to the presence of their manufacturing units in the country. We will learn more about the three units closer to the reveal event where the prices and the launch date will be officially announced. Source: Phone Arena View the full article
  2. Agreement came during a phone call between FM Shah Mehmood Qureshi and his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov. Photo: FilePakistan and Russia have agreed to launch a joint effort aimed at 'restoring peace' in the region with rising tensions between the United States and Iran in the backdrop, Radio Pakistan reported. The agreement came during a telephonic conversation between Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and his Russian counterpart, Sergei Lavrov, on Thursday. During the phone call, the two leaders discussed issues pertaining to soaring tensions in the Middle East, including the overall situation in the region. Qureshi expressed to his Russian counterpart that an increase in tensions among the states could dent a severe blow to peace and stability in the region. He added that both sides, Iran and the US, have to show restraint in order to overcome the current situation. Qureshi, while reiterating Pakistan's stance, made it clear that Pakistan will neither be a party to any new conflict in the region nor will its land be used against any regional or neighbouring country. A day earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan had said Pakistan "will never get involved" in other countries' wars and said Pakistan would become a country that would "serve as an example for other Muslim countries around the world and lead them". "Pakistan will never participate in anyone else's war again," he said. "Pakistan will become a country that encourages peace in other countries." He had also said Pakistan will do its best to bring about peace between Iran and Saudi Arabia. "This [peace between US and Iran] will be our biggest effort," said the premier. "I even told Donald Trump that I will help establish peace between Iran and the US," he added. The Foreign Office in its statement had urged Iran and the US indirectly to "avoid unilateral actions and use of force", and abide by the UN charter, which lays emphasis on territorial integrity and sovereignty. "All parties are urged to exercise maximum restraint, engage constructively to de-escalate the situation, and resolve issues through diplomatic means, in accordance with UN Charter and international law," the Foreign Office had said.

  4. Deepika Padukone won the world's heart at the song launch of her movie Chhapaak. Her film proved to become a voice in the dark abyss of silence, that acid attack survivors battle against, on a daily basis. Deepika was seen holding up acid attack survivor, Laxmi Agarwal, who could be seen slowly breaking down as the title track progressed. The star seemed to have trouble holding herself up during the performance too. Her heartfelt reaction and consolation of Laxmi won fans' hearts, and not only that, but her reactions were deeply applauded. During a previous interview, Deepika stated that Chhapaak isn't a biopic but tells 'the story of her (Malti's) journey, struggle, triumph and the human spirit.' Check out a video from the event below
  5. The Nintendo Switch has been having a very successful run ever since it launched in 2017 and the console will probably dominate in 2020 as well. Even in India, the console has managed to outsell the Xbox One, even though the Nintendo Switch does not officially sell in India. According to the MakoReactor, “Industry estimates peg the Nintendo Switch lifetime to date sales to be above 50,000 in India” and this is based on a conservative estimate. © Dbrand/Youtube However, in 2020, both Microsoft and Sony will be launching their next generation of consoles by Christmas and Nintendo will have to introduce a new updated console to keep the competition heated. It has been long rumoured that Nintendo has been working on a “Pro” and “Lite” model where the latter launched in late 2019. The analyst who accurately predicted the “Lite” model of the Nintendo Switch believes the “Pro” model will launch sometime in 2020. "Switch will again be the best selling console during the year," says Piers Harding-Rolls of IHS Markit Technology, who has been speaking to gamesindustry.biz. He went on to say that "2020 is also set to be Switch's best hardware sales performance since launch. The Switch Lite will launch in mainland China.” © Youtube It is currently uncertain when the Pro model of the Nintendo Switch will launch, however, we can expect to see upgraded hardware for better performance in games. “There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that Nintendo will launch a "Switch Pro" in 2020, my guess is at $399,” said Harding-Rolls. "More specifically, I predict 4K support, bigger cartridge sizes, and of course beefed-up components. I also think the device will launch after the summer holidays to counter the roll-out of the PS5 and next-gen Xbox later in the year - along with a first-party, system-seller game. I predict 4K support, bigger cartridge sizes, and of course beefed-up components. I also think the device will launch after the summer holidays to counter the roll-out of the PS5 and next-gen Xbox later in the year - along with a first-party, system-seller game” he said. © Nintendo The more powerful Switch Pro could deliver games at 4K resolution at 30 FPS with upscaling and boosted performance for older games. At the moment, Switch's Tegra X1 processor can't really keep up with the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One due to which the “Pro” model might be in the works. The Switch model will be able to even out this difference with better hardware. Having said that, it is possible that the next console may be a dedicated console-only box and not offer the portability feature. Sure, it may not suit the “Switch” name but the Switch Lite already breaks the branding as it cannot be docked. It remains to be seen when Nintendo plans to launch the new console or whether these are all rumours and it simply does not exist. As of now, we can only speculate what the console could be and wait for the official announcement later this year. Source: gamesindustry.biz View the full article
  6. It seems like the Galaxy Note 10 Lite launch is just around the corner and live images of the upcoming smartphone were leaked online yesterday. So far, we've only had unofficial information about the smartphone but that's changed with these live images leaked by SlashGear. © Slashgear While the live photos of the Galaxy Note 10 Lite look very similar to previous leaks, it will be the affordable version of the popular series, fans have been asking for. The pricing of the phone is not known yet and it all depends on how Samsung wants to position the Galaxy Note 10 Lite. It would be prudent to say that Samsung might position the Galaxy Note 10 Lite as an affordable flagship similar to the OnePlus smartphones. From the leaked images, we can see that the device is indeed called the “Galaxy Note 10 Lite” as mentioned in the 'About Device' section. The display also has a punch-hole camera, similar to the Galaxy Note 10. However, the design aspect of the smartphone is different at the rear. The camera module has a square bump in the top-left corner and looks similar to the Pixel 4. In terms of specifications, the Galaxy Note 10 Lite is powered by the company's proprietary Exynos 9810 processor which is coupled with 6GB of RAM. Details about the different camera sensors are not known yet, however previous leaks have suggested that the Galaxy Note 10 Lite will have a triple camera setup with wide-angle, wide and telephoto lenses. Samsung plans to launch to new smartphones i.e. Galaxy S10 Lite and Galaxy Note 10 Lite at CES this week. Reports have suggested that both smartphones will first launch in India and subsequently in other regions. Would you buy a more affordable Galaxy Note smartphone? Let us know in the comments what you think about “Lite” versions of the S10 and Note 10. View the full article
  7. KARACHI: Industries in Sindh have announced to protest from Monday against the prevalent gas crisis in the country. Feeling the heat of the gas crisis, small industries in Sindh have announced to protest from Monday. In Quetta and Peshawar, the gas crisis has made life difficult for people who are finding it hard to survive in the harsh cold without heaters. Earlier during the day, Power Minister Omar Ayub alleged that the ongoing gas shortage in Sindh was occurring due to the provincial government’s failure to provide a route for new gas pipelines in the province. READ MORE: Power Minister Omar Ayub blames Sindh govt for gas shortage in province He said that the provincial government "is oppressing the people of Sindh by not providing a right of way" to the federal government. Ayub said the federal government will lay new pipelines if the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) is allowed to do so by local authorities. The minister also said that the provincial government had declined federal government’s offer to provide LNG under Article 158 of the Constitution. Sindh information minister Saeed Ghani rejected Ayub’s allegation, saying that the gas pipelines mentioned by the power minister were not discussed. Ghani said the federal government’s incompetency has ruined people’s lives. Commercial and industrial users have also been severely affected by the shortage. “We have started laying off daily wagers while regular employees have been served termination notices,” chief coordinator of Karachi Industrial Forum, Javed Bilwani said on Thursday.
  8. Samsung has been making innovative smartphones and if the leaks are to be believed, the tech giant is going to launch a new foldable smartphone in February 2020. However, a new leak shows off two smartphones by the South Korean company that have been requested by fans for years. When the Galaxy S10 launched, Samsung launched a cheaper Galaxy S10e variant for customers who did not want all the bells and whistles. And now, a new leak from The Korea Herald suggests that Samsung will be launching two smartphones with “Lite” branding. © MensXP_Akshhay Bhalla The two smartphones in question are the Galaxy Note 10 Lite and S10 Lite that have leaked in the past a few times already. The Galaxy S10 Lite will be an upgrade from the Galaxy S10e as it will come with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 855 chipset. Other specifications include 8GB RAM, 128GB internal storage, a 6.7-inch OLED display and a triple-camera setup at the back. The primary sensor is rumoured to be a 48-megapixel shooter coupled with other sensors. © Twitter_Slashgear The Note 10 Lite is expected to also have similar specifications with a lower price tag and will compete with the iPhone 11/iPhone XR. Both handsets are expected to launch in India by January 2020 and will be unveiled at CES 2020. It would be interesting to see how these smartphones would perform and how Samsung manages to make these smartphones more affordable. For now, we can only speculate that both smartphones will come with a less high-end OLED panel and a less-premium build compared to the 2019 Galaxy smartphones. We can only know for sure once Samsung launches the two smartphones officially, therefore until then we suggest you take these rumours with a grain of salt. 9. 2019 has been a kickass year for Realme. The company launched a ton of phones this year, along with some really good pair of earphones. Their Realme Buds Wireless, the ones that are tuned by DJ Alan Walker are one of our favourite pairs of earbuds to come out this year. Now, Realme is looking to wrap up the year on a strong note with the launch of a pair of truly wireless earbuds. Called Realme Buds Air, the new pair of earbuds look a lot like Apple's AirPods. Although Realme will be launching them in three different colours, so that's great. © Realme There's still a lot that we don't know about the Realme Buds Wireless, but we do know enough to be super excited to try them out. Realme says the Realme Buds Wireless will support instant pairing via Bluetooth 5.0 and will automatically connect to your device as soon as you open the charging case. Yes, it exactly how Apple's AirPods work. Besides that, Realme has also confirmed that the earbuds will house a 12mm driver and comes with touch controls for music and call management. Looks like you'll also be able to activate the Google Assistant with just a single touch. That's also pretty neat and very convenient. © Realme As for the pricing, well, Realme has confirmed the pricing, but a premature Flipkart listing of the buds may have revealed the price. Now, we're not sure if this will be actual pricing. For all we know, it could just be a placeholder for the product reveal. The Flipkart listing, which has now been removed from the website at the time of filing this story, revealed the price tag of Rs 4,999. Yes, that's quite a bit more than what the company launched the Realme Buds Wireless for. That being said, it's worth making a note that these earbuds are a lot more sophisticated. And besides that, the Realme Buds Air still cost a lot less than the Apple AirPods. We don't know how good the Realme Buds Air are since we haven't gotten our hands on one of them yet, but we can't wait to try it, so keep your eyes peeled for more info. View the full article
  10. Ever since OnePlus came to existence, the whole ethos of the company was to offer flagship-level smartphones at an attractive price. However, with the recent OnePlus 7 Pro and 7T Pro, we've seen the company divulge into making more premium smartphones that also come with an increased price tag. However, the Chinese company may change that with a mid-range smartphone next year. A mid-range smartphone will not only let OnePlus keep the prices down, but it will also expand its portfolio and bring the company back to its roots. © 91Mobiles and OnLeaks OnePlus smartphones are highly successful in India and western markets; however, with rising prices, OnePlus has not been able to offer a smartphone in the mid-range segment. A new leak via 91mobiles and @OnLeaks suggests that the OnePlus 8 Lite will be the answer to all of the company's problems. The rumoured smartphone is said to come with a flat punch-hole display similar to the Galaxy S10 and without a notch. The display size is rumoured to be 6.4-inches or 6.5-inches and the fingerprint sensor will be under the display like the OnePlus 7 and 7T series. The camera sensors are also going to get a slight update as it will come with a dual primary camera setup and an additional Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensors for better 3D photography and AR features. © 91Mobiles and OnLeaks The most interesting part of the smartphone will be its specifications. Normally, every OnePlus smartphone is powered by Qualcomm's latest flagship chipset. However, the recently announced Snapdragon 865 chipset comes with a 5G X55 modem which will eventually drive up the cost. The Snapdragon 865 chipset does not come with a 4G modem which means OEMs like OnePlus will have no choice but to use the X55 modem or use an alternative chipset. It could be possible we might see the OnePlus 8 Lite using a different chipset to control the price of the smartphone. We can expect it to be powered by Snapdragon 765 SoC or some other chipset. We should know more about the mid-range smartphone closer to its launch. However, if rumours turn out to be true, OnePlus will return to its roots of offering the smartphone at an even more affordable price. For now, we would advise you to take the above information with a pinch of salt as it is based on leaks and rumour. Source: 91Mobiles View the full article
  11. New rumours about the 2020 iPhones have emerged and it comes from one of the most reliable Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. The rumours, or rather prediction mentions that Apple is planning to launch a few more iPhones than they normally do in a year. Kuo has detailed that up to five new iPhone models which are expected to launch in 2020 and one of them is going to be a throwback to an iPhone we haven't seen in a while. © Tf Internatioal Securities iPhone predictions can't be entirely accurate as Apple is known for changing their mind at the last minute, however we're quite excited about what's in store for Apple customers. Next year, we can expect a 4.7-inch iPhone that will come with a single rear camera and could be the new iPhone SE 2. There's a good chance we might see this phone launch in the first quarter of 2020 while other rumoured phones may launch in the latter half of the year. © Unsplash/Daniel Romero The other phones that are expected to launch include a “5.4-inch iPhone 12 with dual-lens rear camera, a 6.1-inch iPhone 12 with dual-lens rear camera, a 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Pro with a triple-lens rear camera, and a 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max with triple-lens rear camera” according to Ming-Chi Kuo via MacRumors. All four smartphones are expected to support 5G connectivity and come with OLED panels like the Pro models from this generation. © Unsplash/Daniel Romero The iPhone SE, expected in 2021, could come in two sizes i.e. with a 5.5 and 6.1-inch display while the Pro models may not even come with a lightning port. Apple has already implemented a USB-C port the iPad Pro and it could be possible that Apple may include a USB-C port for the new higher-end iPhone models too. There's also a good chance that the company may not even include any ports and completely rely on fast wireless charging and fast data transfer speeds. As usual, these are based on rumours and need to be taken with a pinch of salt. Whether the rumours are true or not, it looks like Apple is working on something exciting for 2020. Bittoo and Hari Singh work with senior director Sham Kaushal. Sham Kaushal said, “I sent three members of my team for the rehearsal. It was important to check if the wire work was smooth and performing the stunt was a safe proposition. As part of the stunt, Bittoo and Hari Singh were attached to the winch machine and were performing [stunts mid-air]. But during the second round of rehearsals, the machine collapsed due to a technical malfunction and the boys had a freefall from a height of nearly 10-12 feet.” He also added, “Akshay paaji was at a shoot in Hyderabad, but was keeping a constant check on the boys. 14. We already know quite a bit about Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S11 smartphone, or at least know what to expect from the phone, thanks to all the leaks and rumours. But in addition to the information that we had reported last time, we now have some more info about the Galaxy S11 variants slated to arrive this year. According to the information obtained by the popular tipster Evan Blass, it looks like, Samsung is planning to launch as many as five variants of the phone this year. Yes, you read that right. Samsung is said to launch five different variants of the phone. © YouTube Just like last year, it looks like we'll get a standard variant of the Galaxy S11 with a 6.7-inch display, a slightly bigger Galaxy S11 Plus with a 6.7-inch display and a smaller Galaxy S11e variant with a 6.2-inch or 6.4-inch display. Even the smaller S11e variant is said to have a curved display this time, so no more flat display panels. In addition to these three variants, both the Galaxy S11e and the regular Galaxy S11 will also be offered in 5G variants, making up for a total of 5 variants. The Galaxy S11 Plus, mind you, will only be offered in the 5G variant. © YouTube/ Marques Brownlee Anyway, all five variants of the phone are said to have the company's 108MP ISOCELL sensor. Yeah, so this time you can expect all the Galaxy S11 variants to have significantly more powerful cameras. Sadly, we don't know anything else about the phone apart from this. However, we also know that Samsung is planning to launch the new Galaxy S11 series in February. Source: Evan Blass View the full article

  16. The Fold's release was delayed to sort out severe problems with its display, forcing retailers and carriers to cancel the pre-orders they had taken. Samsung has constantly assured everyone that the phone will return soon. The Galaxy Fold is the first smartphone to have a truly foldable screen and it even costs more than any Samsung device. There were several issues with the test units of Galaxy Fold when they were out for review. The South Korean tech company acknowledged the glitches and went back to the drawing board to come up with a finished quality product. Even Huawei followed the same path and held off on its own Mate X release, citing Samsung's issues as a preliminary tale. © YouTube Now, at a conference held by The Korean Information Display Society in Seoul on 18 June, Samsung Display Vice President, Kim Seong-Cheol, said that most of the screen related issues of Galaxy fold have been "ironed out" and it is "ready" to hit the markets, reported The Investor (http://www.theinvestor.co.kr/view.php?ud=20190619000593&ACE_MAIN=2). © YouTube We should highlight that Kim is not an employee of Samsung Electronics' mobile division, but rather the firm's display-manufacturing arm. He's likely to have worked closely with Fold team, but his exposure could be limited to the display only. He may not have the insight to definitively tell us when the phone is launching. The Galaxy Fold has a 4.6-inch single folding AMOLED display and can be turned into a tablet with a screen size of 7.3-inches. The outer 21:9 screen has a resolution of 840x1960 and the unfolded screen has a resolution of 1,536 x 2,152. © Trusted Reviews Trusted Reviews Samsung has been promising release news “in coming weeks” for several weeks now. Understandably, the company hasn't been rushing to get the handset back out. The company has experienced a similar debacle previously with Note 7 and it understands patience is the key. The Fold comes with a tag price of US$ 1,980 (Rs 1,37,000). Samsung is expected to launch the Note 10 in the first week of August, and there is a possibility the Fold will launch after it.
  17. The International Space Station, as we all know, is currently the only fully functional space station in the Earth's lower orbit. It's the result of a partnership between European countries represented by the European Space Agency the United States, Japan, Canada, and Russia. Well, looks like there's going to be another space station by the year 2030 and it's going to be launched by none other than India. The same has been confirmed by the ISRO chief K Sivan during a press conference where he also talked a bit more about the project. © Reuters He made it a point to inform that India will not be joining the International Space Station (ISS) and launch its own space station, which will be an extension of the Gaganyaan project. “We have to sustain the Gaganyaan programme. So, subsequently, as a long-term plan, we are planning to have the space station in India. We are going to join the international community in manned missions to the moon, asteroids. We have a clear plan for the space programme,” Sivan said. The proposed space station will likely weigh 20 tonnes and it's said to be used for conducting microgravity experiments. India is targetting 2030 as the date to launch the space station and the preliminary plan is for the space station is to accommodate astronauts for up to 15-20 days in space. We still don't have a lot of details, but we hope to learn more after the completion of Gaganyaan mission. © Reuters As for the Gaganyaan mission, the government is said to have cleared a budget of Rs. 10,000 crore. It looks like there will be two flights from Sriharikota before the maiden flight with crew takes of sometime in 2022. ISRO's complete focus right now is on India's second moon mission, Chandrayan -2. It will take off on July 15 and will attempt to land near the South Pole of the Moon, which has remained an uncharted territory so far. You can learn more about the Chandrayan-2 mission right here.

However, there's more to the biggest gaming event in the world, as we can expect new hardware, new games and everything else related to gaming to be announced. So, here are some of our predictions for E3 2019: 1. Next-Gen Xbox Console © Microsoft Microsoft is the only console manufacturers to be attending E3 this year and we can expect the company to capitalise on this opportunity. The minor update on the new AirPods comes with a new H1 Chip that lets users launch Siri by simply saying 'Hey Siri'.
