  1. The (virtual) world of grumpiness lost a bit of its charm today with the passing away of the internet's most catty feline 'Grumpy Cat'. Known to be the face of grumpiness for the online community of 'Republic of Grumpyland', the internet pet sensation became the face of countless (and most apt) memes during her lifetime. © Twitter Grumpy Cat's family took to Twitter hours ago to share the news of her passing away, and tributes have been pouring in in large numbers from the netizens, who had found the perfect stand-in and global representative to express their deepest emotions publicly. Some days are grumpier than others... pic.twitter.com/ws209VWl97 — Grumpy Cat (@RealGrumpyCat) May 17, 2019 Earlier this month, Grumpy contacted a urinary tract infection which proved to be fatal for the feline. “She passed away peacefully at home in the arms of her mommy, Tabatha,” the family wrote in the tweet. This past week really has sucked. Rest in peace you amazing feline, you will be missed. — Ross O'Donovan (@RubberNinja) May 17, 2019 Those who have met her, consider themselves lucky. RIP grumpy cat. I was lucky to meet you in London. pic.twitter.com/T3wZCM1UZS — Mattie (@MattieStar26) May 17, 2019 People remember her for all the happiness they added to their lives. You brought so much joy into so many lives... rest in peace Grumpy Cat. — That's Ms. Hath No Fury to you, thanks (@hburgur) May 17, 2019 Originally named Tardar Sauce by her family, Grumpy Cat helped millions break into a smile courtesy her resting grouchy-face and the hilarious texts that always seemed more funny and related when kept next to her face. Here are a few awesome memes in memory of the late Grumpy Cat. 1. Pessimist, what's that? © Twitter 2. Got the message? © Twitter 3. My name is Social. Anti-Social. © Twitter 4. Oh, brother. © Twitter 5. We all know those people. © Twitter RIP, Grumpy.
  2. The wait has finally ended. Winter came at 6:30 am IST on Hotstar, with the 'Game of Thrones' Season 8 premiere airing after more than 500 days since last season concluded. Almost all living characters got screen time as multiples storylines seem to be coming together for one last time.' Please don't read any further if you haven't watched the episode yet, as this post contains heavy spoilers. As usual, there was death, there was *** and there certainly were dragons. Whitewalkers remained out of sight but did send some strong messages. The internet, no wonder, was abuzz with multiple theories, predictions and memes. But one particular Reddit user called DukeOfTheVines drew parallels between the pilot of the first season and the latest Season 8 instalment. Here it goes: “The opening shot of the King/Queen arriving with the same music” According to the redditor, the same track plays in the background of Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen's arrival in Winterfell as to the one at the time of Robert Baratheon's entrance in Season 1 Episode 1. © HBO The tunes do bear resemblance, and why not? The Iranian-German composer Ramin Djawadi, who had composed 'The King's Arrival' in the show's debut season, has returned to lend tunes to the final one as well. “Arya being a kid watching the King coming vs her letting a kid get a good view of the Queen coming” Arya Stark is shown rejoicing at her brother (not by blood anymore) Jon Snow's return. The duo was thick as thieves while growing up and has reunited after their lives have come full circle. In fact the 'girl with no name' still carries the sword (Needle) that Jon gave her as a kid. © HBO “Both episodes ending with Bran and Jamie, except this time Jamie looks scared” This has to be my favourite scene from the season. A cloaked Jamie Lannister arrives on a horse to Winterfell only to find Bran Stark, now the greenseer and also the boy who Jamie pushed out from a tower, waiting for him. You can actually feel the fear in Jamie's eyes at the sight. © HBO “Both episodes have amputated limbs from the white walkers spread out in a gory way to send a message” The heir of Hosue Umber, Ned was found decapitated with limbs all around him in this episode. Remember the first ever GoT episode where the White Walkers make their first "artwork" and create a symbol in the snow using the dismembered body parts of the slaughtered wildlings? “In the pilot, Cersi and Catelyn Stark talk about their kids possibly getting married while looking at them from a distance, while in this episode Varys, Tyrion, and Davos talk about Dany and Jon getting married while looking at them from a distance” While the idea of Jon and Dany's potential romance is exciting (and really not taboo considering the incestuous history of House Lannister), the foreboding metaphor in the episode is 'nothing lasts forever.' Let's see how this one goes, especially after Sam's conversation with Jon (or Aegon?). “The kid from the beginning was climbing on trees to get a good view, similar to Bran climbing the castle to get a good view. He also looked similar to Bran in the Pilot” Will the kid also end up losing limbs? “In the Pilot, all the shots of Winterfell showed the grass but now it's all snow” Winter has come? Other interesting observations made by Redditors: /u/Itsgreenarrow: Also S1E1 Ned's farewell to Jon he says “the next time we see each other, We will talk about your mother. I promise.” Then S8E1 while Jon is staring at Ned's tomb Sam tell him about his parents /u/friggindiggin: First episode Jon is distraught over his identity crisis as a bastard. This episode Jon is distraught over his identity crisis as a king. /u/enfinnity: The brothel scene with Bron is similar to Tyrion's first scene /u/JaqueStrap69: Also Jon asking Sansa "Where's Arya?" When he arrived, just like Ned asking "Where's Arya?" /u/ChavaF1: The current ruler of Winterfell saying “Winterfell is yours” to the arriving monarch /u/sarahj2010: Also loved the line from Robert Baratheon in the pilot to Ned 'I have a son, you have a daughter, we shall join our houses'. It's gotta be Arya and Gendry. /u/SaiyanAintSo: Also Sansa being more than wary of Dany, much like Catelyn was of Cersei. She really seemed like her mother in that meet and greet. © HBO /u/Dualstack: Also Robert asking Ned to be his hand in the crypts kind of similar to Sam telling Jon he is king in the crypts /u/Skeetronic: Don't forget Cersei putting out to someone she's not 'loyal' to But isn't that the norm for Cersei? What were your big observations from the premiere5? Let us know in the comments.
  3. 'God of War' was one phenomenal game and it became one of our all-time favourites for various reasons. We reviewed the game when it released, and ever since then GoW has been winning major awards for 'Game of the Year'. Having said that, one of the most reputed academies, that is, 'The British Academy Games Awards' also awarded the game of the same time along with five other wins for the game. It managed to beat 'Red Dead Redemption II' which is not a small feat as Rockstar's game also got high acclaim. © Sony Santa Mocia The game won awards for the best Narrative, Audio Achievement, Performer (Jeremy Davies as The Strang) and Music. Other games like “Return Of The Obra Dinn” also won awards for Best Game Design and Artistic Achievement. Nintendo Labo won awards for best game innovations and Family game. Forza Horizon 4 won the award for best British Game, while flawed but interesting co-op game whereas A Way Out won the multiplayer award. © Sony Santa Mocia 'God of War' is a visual masterpiece paired with some awesome music score to give the player a complete cinematic experience. Visually, the game looks beautiful on PlayStation 4 Pro and is probably one of the best looking games we've played this generation. The narrative felt compelling and enjoyable for the majority of the time and has managed to incorporate an addictive and satisfying combat system. God of War is an excellent action-adventure game that incorporates a great cinematic experience every God of War fan should experience.
  4. In early January 2019, it was announced that a biopic on our Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in the works. It was also revealed that actor Vivek Oberoi would be seen essaying the titular role in the film titled 'PM Narendra Modi'. 'PM Narendra Modi' biopic will narrate PM Modi's journey from his humble beginnings, to his rise as the Prime Minister of India, and it has been reported that the film will be released in 23 Indian languages. © Legend Global Studio The makers of the film recently released the 'PM Narendra Modi' trailer and all throughout the trailer launch, the makers and actors of the biopic had just one thing to say, “Modi hai, toh mumkin hai”. While it is understood that the movie traces PM Modi's journey, the trailer also gives us an insight into more private and not-so-public aspects of PM Modi that a lot of us might be unaware of. Whitewashing or not, the trailer did do a fine job of capturing our complete attention and left us craving for the complete picture. © Legend Global Studio Here are the 5 most important moments from 'PM Narendra Modi' trailer: 1. 'PM Narendra Modi' trailer gave us a glimpse into PM Modi's childhood, his tryst with selling tea, his stand on patriotism, his days during RSS training, as well as the time when he decided to leave everything behind and become a sanyasi in order to learn the meaning of life and his purpose. © Legend Global Studio 2. The trailer nicely follows the transition of Modi from his years of association with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh as a Sevak, his extensive tenure as Gujarat CM and moving on to BJP's clean swipe during the Lok Sabha elections in 2014. There is a promise of deeper insights in those recreations. 3. 'PM Narendra Modi' trailer also touches upon one of the most sensational aspects of PM Modi's life - the 2002 Gujarat riots. He is shown to be rescuing Muslims and taking personal initiatives related to the 2002 attack on the Akshardham temple. © Legend Global Studio 4. PM Modi's version of nationalism is loud and clear in the trailer, wherein at one point it is shown that he places the nation above any religion, as he salutes the Indian flag. 5. The trailer presents PM Modi's stand against terrorism pretty clearly and it finds a voice in the trailer more than once. The trailer also tries to bring in an element of gender equality when we hear PM Modi say, “jab tak iss desh ki mahilayen majboor hain, yeh desh kabhi majboot nahi ho sakta.” © Legend Global Studio 'PM Narendra Modi' directed by Omung Kumar of 'Mary Kom' and 'Sarbjit' fame will release on April 5, just a week before the beginning of the General Elections on April 11.
  5. Super-Dad Rohit Sharma was on a flight back home as soon as the news of his wife Ritika Sajdeh being blessed with a baby daughter reached his ears. The news broke out within hours of Team India registering the second win of the four-match series in Melbourne on Sunday. The batsman seemed overjoyed about becoming a father in an interview with retired Australian cricketer, Michael Clarke, before the 3rd Test. "I cannot wait to be a father; it is going to be a game-changing moment in our lives,” Sharma told Clarke. “I am eagerly awaiting the moment of becoming a father. It will be a moment to change our life.” https://t.co/EsLEjyDuI0 We are so happy for you guys @ImRo45 @ritssajdeh â¤ï¸ — Rohit Sharma FanClub (@ImRo45_FC) December 20, 2018 Sharma played a crucial role in the first innings of the 3rd Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground as he scored 63 runs off 114 balls and remained unbeaten till the end. The Men in Blue look to seal their series victory by winning the 4th Test starting 3rd January 2019, however, looks like they will not have the talents of the middle-order batsman to back them up in Sydney. The team is looking at Hardik Pandya, who recently recovered from a severe lower-back injury he suffered in September this year, as a suitable replacement for Sharma. “It would've been great to have him (Rohit) around,” a source told The Times of India. “Tactically, he brings so much to the side and then his batting provides the right kind of balance to the side. But what awaits him is far bigger and more important.” Rohit Sharma will be back in Australia after spending a week with the family to join the ODI squad for a three-match series starting 12th January 2019.
  6. Have you ever been on a journey without plugging your earphones in or turning your car stereo up to the maximum? Have you ever had a moment where your feet just start tapping to the rhythm of a song when you visited a local cafe, bar or restaurant? We all have! I am sure my questions will help you re-live those select experiences that left a resounding mark on your soul. Such is the magic of music and the very pulse of it that intensifies even more while on the go, as it seeps through and makes one lose themselves in the surroundings. Nobody can understand this better than bikers, who are modern nomads thriving on their love for adventure and seeking a quintessential wisdom through their journeys. Bikes and music fit like puzzle pieces and is therefore the chosen expression of rebels and game-changers since the 50s. Across the world, the trend didn't take much time to catch up, given that we all felt hypnotized with the edginess that the biking culture offers. There are some songs that complement the thrill of the road. From Steppenwolfe's 'Born to be wild' to Roger McGuinn's 'Easy Rider' to Jim Morrison's 'Riders on the storm', every song identifies the adventurous attitude of non-conformist bikers. There are many Bollywood songs too which are centred around travel and biking. It's a fact that music can either make or break your mood and if done right, it leaves you with a thirst for the unchartered territory. When we talk about biking, it is not just adventure that brings bikers closer, it is also about catching just a fleeting glimpse of what is beyond the horizon. Every biker swears by the thrill of unraveling the unknown, a road that brings them together and the ecstasy of blood pumping through their veins. So how about a platform for them to come together, connect and share their unique moments on the road with one another? They take a part of this diversified culture with them, establishing unity and oneness amongst fellow aficionados. The biking community has also created awareness for various issues like drug abuse, organ donation, HIV, road safety, child abuse and much more through their motorbike rallies. Through Riders Music Festival, we too want to promote road safety and also make sure that such a bonding of oneness continues to flourish as we nurture it through our mutual love for music. This year RMF showcases a perfect line-up of contemporary musicians with different genres of music. poetry I MISS YOU

Something so hard goes straight to the soul; it seems impossible to get over and my heart is left with a big hole. I’m trying to be happy, wearing a smile; but I’m dying inside. The world seems to be fading, and I just want to run and hide. Everywhere I go I see your face, and realize how much I miss you; and on the day you died a piece of me died too...
