  1. After a fortnight of conjecture, Chelsea Football Club announced the exit of Maurizio Sarri as their manager through their website. The Italian will now join Serie A giants Juventus, penning a three-year long contract with the Bioncaneri. Unlike predecessors Jose Mourinho and Anotnio Conte, Sarri was never a popular figure at Chelsea. Despite a winning start and going unbeaten for the first 12 league games of the campaign, becoming the first manager in the history of the Premier League to do so, and a home win against champions Manchester City in December; a poor run of form and dip in results in the beginning of 2019 led to discontent among fans and higher level management alike. © Reuters In a club that is used to watching adaptive and reactive football, Sarri's stubborn and tactical approach did not sit well with fans. The Jorginho-Kante situation is a perfect example of this. The brilliant Frenchman was made to play away from his usual defensive midfield position to accommodate Sarri's system that needed Jorginho in the center of midfield to bridge the gap between defense and attack. This did not go down well with the fans. Even after securing Champions League football with a third place finish in the Premier League and the Europa League title, Sarri will not be the manager of Chelsea next year. It has since been debated whether the Italian was forced out of the club or he opted to seek greener pastures at Juventus. But it highlights a major problem for the West London club- the owner and board of the club never bought into Maurizio's philosophy and hiring a manger like him without believing in him is a poor decision, given Chelsea's previous track record with managers. Sarri joins Juventus as part of a clear project, to win the coveted UEFA Champions League trophy and to implement an attacking and possession based style of football while doing so. For Chelsea, however, uncertainty rings throughout Stamford Bridge regarding who will take up the role. Thank you and good luck for the future, Maurizio. ð pic.twitter.com/dGHzekBNPT — Chelsea FC (@ChelseaFC) June 16, 2019 Former Stamford Bridge hero Frank Lampard is the bookmaker's favourite with former players Jody Morris and Petr Cech set to take up roles as Assistant Manager and Technical Director respectively. It seems likely that Chelsea will be bringing the old guard back but they will be in charge of the backroom operations rather than taking the field. The appointments might excite fans of the club but it also highlights two major concerns, a major change of approach from owner Roman Abramovich and the Chelsea board; and the lack of options at Chelsea's disposal to replace Sarri. Only one year into his management career with tier-two side Derby County, Frank Lampard may be a Chelsea hero, but he's a very inexperienced appointment which is uncharacteristic of Abramovich and Chelsea. Petr Cech, having just retired from football, filling the role of Technical Director is another massive risk. © Reuters With a particularly hard dressing room to manage that has gone through 4 managers in 6 seasons, the transfer of star talisman Eden Hazard to Real Madrid and a potential two-window transfer ban from FIFA due to the breaches concerning the transfer of players who are under 18, the problems are piling up for the Blues. Other managerial options such as former blues boss Jose Mourinho and ex-Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri are unlikely to take charge of such a problematic dressing room. Lampard and the old guard look like Chelsea's best option. After a successful campaign with Derby County, very nearly clinching promotion to the Premier League, Lampard has shown a Mourinho-esque swagger in his time at Derby and his promotion of youth and positive tactics are big reasons why Chelsea would consider the Englishman for the job. However, overwhelming questions still remain unanswered for Chelsea. Can Lampard do the job for them? If not him, then whom? How will they cope with the potential transfer ban? How will they balance a problematic dressing room with an up-and-coming academy? All things said and done, however, the appointment comes at a time when a legend like Lampard's appointment could be the bounce that Chelsea fans need to reignite their passion for the club as they will kick-off their Premier League campaign at Old Trafford on 11th August.
  2. Cricket needs no introduction in India. The country considers the gentleman's game to be a religion and worships cricketers like demigods. The popularity of cricket can be ascertained from the success of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Currently in progress, India's cash-rich T20 tournament has kept everyone occupied with its fair dosage of matches in the ongoing season. And when the 2019 edition of the IPL comes to an end on 12th May, cricket fans will be treated to the coveted ICC World Cup, slated to begin later this month. While a majority of the Indian population is enjoying the cricket season, some are really tired of its overdose. Whether you're chilling with friends or making those tiring presentations at office, there's no escaping from cricket. Though we can't really do much about the overdose of cricket, the advent of a promising motorsport league in India might just prove to be a saviour. © X1 Racing League India's famed international car racers Armaan Ebrahim (29) and Aditya Patel (30) have joined hands to launch the Xtreme1 (X1) Racing League in India. Expected to kickstart in October this year, the X1 Racing League is a franchise-based tournament that will see eight teams locking horns in what promises to be a thrilling battle on the track. Ushering in a new era of racing in India, the X1 Racing League will be held in a mix of track and street circuits where the eight city-based franchise will be seen using two cars (custom-made two-seater sports car) and four drivers to pip each other to the title. Backed By FMSCI © X1 Racing League The X1 Racing League is backed and sanctioned by the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI), the governing body of motorsports in the country. The league has entered into a long-term exclusive commercial rights partnership with Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI), granting exclusive rights including sponsorship, broadcasting, advertising, intellectual property, franchising and new league rights, amongst others exclusively for city-based 4W racing events and/or competitions in league format. Top Drivers In The Fray © X1 Racing League Talks are on to rope in well-known race drivers including former Formula One, Formula E, Indy 500, Le Mans and NASCAR drivers to the X1 Racing League which also happens to be the world's first city-based franchise league in motorsports. Each team will comprise of one international male driver, one international female driver, one Indian international driver and one Indian domestic driver. Women Empowerment © X1 Racing League In a strong move towards the inclusion of women in motorsports in India and pushing the theme of gender neutrality in sports, female drivers will race along with male drivers in this first-of-its-kind format. Boost For Youngsters © X1 Racing League The league aims to discover India's next racing superstar by providing equal opportunities to rookies and national champions through a platform where they compete with the best in the world. League Season © X1 Racing League Races will take place on Saturdays and Sundays. Each race will be of 45 minutes and there will be 3 races per day, with innovative race formats. Noida's Buddh International and the MMRT in Chennai are the obvious choices for the track venues and the street races will be announced by the founders in the near future. It was in 2011 when motorsport enthusiasts were given a first-hand experience of competitive racing as Formula One Grand Prix came to India. But, unavoidable hurdles - including tax disputes - forced the F1 GP away from India after just three seasons. Since then, competitive motorsport racing leagues have eluded India, leaving the fans disheartened. But, the advent of the promising X1 Racing League is undoubtedly a massive step in the promotion of motorsports in the country.
  3. Break-ups are tough to deal with. Especially if you've been heavily invested in making something work and it blows up right in your face. Yes, that's difficult to crack, but we all go through a similar pattern of pining for the loved one, missing them, stalking them and eventually letting go of them. But if you truly want to let go of them so you can function better, you have to change that pattern and make your indulgences absolutely minimal post a break-up. Because if you don't, their memory will keep coming up like a really bad itch. © MensXP Location : Andaz Hotel (@andazdelhi) Photographer : Anand Gogoi ( @anand.gogoi) Stylist : Devanshi Tuli (@devanshi.15) Makeup and Hair : Shrishti Anand ( @srishtianandmakeup ) Production : Prapti Elizabeth (@prapti.elizabeth) I am not going to give you a post break up jargon on how to deal with your heartbreak. That is something you have to figure on your own. I am just going to tell you, very practically, what you shouldn't really do, which you tend to do on instinct when you break up. Here are a few break up trends you should avoid to get over your ex and also for you to transition smoothly to the other side: (1) The Blocking Ritual Yes, it's oddly satisfying to block someone out for good and you and should if the relationship you had reminds you of the bad times. But if you look at it practically, blocking leads to more hate and anger than just letting things be the way they are. When you block someone out, you do it because impulsively you're really angry at the person and you don't think twice about it. As time passes by, because you did something out of sheer anger, guilt starts to surpass you making you want to check in on them from time to time. Blocking is a redundant activity which can inevitably hurt you and the other person and it's really not required. If you really want to make a point, let things be the way they are and distance yourself significantly, without out-rightly showing any passive-aggressive rage or malice and that practice will make you forget things easily. © MensXP Location : Andaz Hotel (@andazdelhi) Photographer : Anand Gogoi ( @anand.gogoi) Stylist : Devanshi Tuli (@devanshi.15) Makeup and Hair : Shrishti Anand ( @srishtianandmakeup ) Production : Prapti Elizabeth (@prapti.elizabeth) (2) Turning On Your 'Last Seen' I only mention this here because I knew someone who switched on his 'Last Seen' on Whatsapp right after he broke up with his girlfriend and that didn't do too well for him. Since her last seen was always on, he started noticing her timings on Whatsapp and hurting himself further in the process. In a way that is mid-level stalking but that's nothing to be ashamed of. We've all done it. And yes, it hurts when you see the last time they were online was at 3 am. So, in order to avoid that ordeal, it's best to switch your last seen off. Especially if it was on before. © Pinterest (3) Don't Keep Memories In Your Folder If you hang on to pictures and videos of the two of you together, that'll do you no good. Yes, we live in a digital age and everything is easily accessible but does that mean it can't be deleted? I am not saying delete everything on an impulse and pretend like everything is okay. I am saying, take your time to soak in whatever happened, maybe save a few good memories of the two of you together and delete the rest. That's one of the best ways to move on from a bad break up. © Pinterest (4) Don't Go On A Digital Obsession Mode Like I told you before, this is the digital age in every sense of it so everything is always malleable. It's obvious that you will stalk your ex from time to time to see what they're up to. You'll do it rather aggressively and frequently at first because it's tough to completely cut off at first. That's fine, just don't make it a habit. it'll only make things worse for you. If you really want to stalk, maybe check out some Instagram pages that are open to the public and spend time there instead of obsessing over the one it can't work out with. Let me remind you there are plenty of fish in the sea, even on Instagram! So, do the right thing for your own wellbeing. © Pinterest Once you follow these ways of letting go, you'll evolve in a very progressive way. Who knows you and her can be friends or more in the future? But for now, you need to do what's right.
  4. If mothers are an epitome of love, warmth, and affection; fathers are sometimes the exact opposite! They might troll you in front of your friends, but will also turn into your biggest cheerleaders and at times, go simply overboard with excitement. From cheering at the top of their voice to moving mountains (if needed) if they try to block their way while making a video, fathers are the best people you need in your life and watching them do their 'dad thing' is priceless. And Amitabh Bachchan, too, did the most dad thing ever when his daughter Shweta Bachchan walked the ramp at a recent fashion show. View this post on Instagram To the best .. always .. tonight elegance grace and dignity ðð A post shared by Amitabh Bachchan (@amitabhbachchan) on Mar 24, 2019 at 1:09pm PDT Shweta Bachchan, who recently launched her own brand, was walking the ramp with Karan Johar for Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. Big B was attending the show with Jaya Bachchan and the moment Shweta came on the ramp, he took out his phone to record it. Honestly, he reminded us of our parents at our Annual Day celebrations in school, back in the day when the Kodak reel cameras were a thing. But, that's not even the best thing about the video. The best moment was when he apparently whistled at the videographer, to ask him to move as he was blocking his view and once he shifted he continued making the video (zooming in and zooming out in between). View this post on Instagram A post shared by Viral Bhayani (@viralbhayani) on Mar 24, 2019 at 11:31pm PDT After watching this video, our dads be like "Yeah bro! Been there, done that." On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan whose latest flick 'Badla' was a super hit at the box-office, is now gearing up for his next movie 'Brahmastra' that also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
  5. The Khurana brothers are perhaps the most stylish siblings in Bollywood right now, and even though Ayushmann usually is the forerunner in terms of kickass style moves, Aparshakti is not far behind at all. He just demonstrated it once again with his accessory game, by wearing an industrial belt that's more than 6 Feet 7 Inches in length. Take a look. © Viral Bhayani © Viral Bhayani Aparshakti is wearing the Off-White industrial yellow belt that was showcased first during Virgil Abloh's Fall-Winter collection in 2016. The yellow belt runs a super extra length of 205 cm and has an adjustable metal buckle. Of course, he had to wrap it around 2-3 times. © Hypebeast Off-White is famous for creating pieces that set the wearer apart in a crowd, and this clearly is one of those statement pieces of accessories. The fact that Aparshakti is wearing it with a basic black T-shirt and a relaxed pair of black trousers, shows that the man understands the nuances of subtle street style. © Viral Bhayani © Viral Bhayani Coming to how much it costs, the belt is worth 211 USD, which when converted to NR comes close to about Rs 15,000. But when one piece can transform your entire ensemble, we guess it's worth it after all.
  6. New in the dating game? Still testing out the warm waters? That's alright, it does take courage and a lot of patience to play the game right and once you get the hang of it, you're pretty sorted. Making the first move on a girl is quite tactical and takes a lot more than confidence but the trick is to get it right the first time so you don't mess up the next time! Not like you can't mess up. Of course, you can, and by mess up, I mean you can try your best and even then she may not be impressed. But the fact of the matter is you did try your best. © UTV Motion Pictures Sometimes, making a move on someone can apply initiating a kiss or a make-out session but here, we're just going to talk about how to address your interest in a girl if you like her, have seen her and want to know her better or have known her a while and are a little clueless about how to approach her. Here are 5 sure-shot ways that can help you in making your first move: (1) Signs Are Important Signs are like an indication of whether or not you should make your move, so they are important. Signs can come through body language, the way she interacts, eye contact and other gestures. For example, if you like someone at a bar, you will know if she's interested in you if she makes eye contact with you, which reeks of interest. That's your cue to go up to her and start talking to her. Similarly while in a conversation if she strokes your arm, laughs at your jokes, then you know you can make a move further because that's a sure-shot indication of the fact that she's interested in you. © AA Films (2) Go With The Flow By that I mean stop over-thinking about the how's and what if's and just go with the first thought in your head. If the first thought is just going to the girl you like and telling her about how you feel, then go for it. Wing it as best as you can, it works most times because it reflects the confidence you exude! © Eros International (3) Try Humour You can approach a girl and crack a funny one to get her attention since girls love men who're humorous. In fact, that's one of the best ways to make a move. If you floor her with humour she would automatically want to spend time with you because you make her laugh. It's as simple as that. © Zee Tv (4) Approach Her Friends If you know her friend(s) then maybe you can try and approach them first and strike up a conversation with them and gain some perspective about the girl you like, if they're willing to help. This helps you kill the awkwardness you may develop while talking to her and boost some much-needed confidence too! © Eros International (5) Compliment Her Mind Yes, she loves hearing she's beautiful, she'd appreciate you getting her a drink but what most men don't do is compliment her mind. Strike up a rather interesting conversation with her. It could be about life, likes and the universe but pick up anything and hear her perspective on it. If it makes sense to you, definitely pay her a compliment because she deserves it. © Fox Star Studios Making the first move isn't hard if you follow through with these points. Just keep in mind to know that it's okay if she says 'no'. Rejection is part and parcel of the process, so it should be taken with positivity. After all, it all boils down to consent and how respectful you are in general towards women. Other than that, keep trying till you ace your moves!
  7. The world's most expensive player somehow managed to make headlines even when he is not playing on the field. The man himself, Neymar Jr, is currently healing from a foot injury which ruled him out even from the round of 16 clashes against Manchester United. Playing his second season with the French champions, Paris Saint-Germain, the left-winger has scored 20 goals and set up another 11 in just 23 appearances for his team this season. Making his way from Barcelona to PSG in 2017, the Brazilian might head back to La Liga in the coming years, but this time to the Los Blancos and not the Catalans. © Reuters The latest rumours have linked the 27-year-old with a return to Barcelona, however, his father Neymar Sr has ruled out his son's interest in the Catalan club and feels that Neymar is happy in PSG. Whereas in a recent interview in his home country, the Brazilian forward opened up on his potential move to Real Madrid. Despite admitting that he is happy at the French capital, the Sau Paulo lad didn't rule out a move to the current UEFA Champions league holder. "If I want to play for Madrid? They are one of the biggest clubs in the world," he told in an interview at Globo TV. “Any player linked with Real Madrid would feel attracted to player there.” © Reuters Clearing his statement the forward added: "For the love of God, I am not speaking about playing for Madrid, calm down. I feel happy in Paris, I am very well here... but, in the future, nobody knows.” "It is obvious that Real Madrid are a great team, one of the best in the world, I have great respect for them but, today, I see myself in Paris," he said. For the time being, the PSG star is working really hard to recover from his injury and join his side soon. © Reuters As far as PSG is concerned, they hold a firm grip over Manchester United in their Champions League 'Round of 16' tie, thanks to Di Maria and Kylian Mbappe who put up a sparkling performance at the Old Trafford. Coming back to Neymar, it's highly uncertain that the Brazilian would think of a change this soon. He probably will stick to the French champions for the time being and would look for a change in the coming years. Till then, we hope we get to see our beloved Neymar Jr., back on the field again.
  8. You became single recently. Immediately, following any break-up, there is a period of prolonged sadness and misery that can last anywhere between 24hrs – a lifetime. Symptoms of this period include, but are not limited to, self-doubt, self-pity and emotional strength resembling that of a wet towel dumped on the cold hard ground. Depending on how the break took place i.e. who caused it, who was lazy, did someone cheat, is she bored etc., there will be a different degree of work required to get over that pesky-ex. © Getty Images Let's look at the scenario and likely countermeasures required to get back in action. A couple of things to watch out for include self-destructive behaviour including drinking. Mostly drinking. Everything else is a consequence of poor decisions made under the influence of alcohol. Additionally, positive influencers like gyms are also a common treatment for the pain of heartbreak. Let's look at the type and reason for breakups and how best to deal with them: (1) You Broke Up With Her This is the easiest one to deal with. Ideally, you would have broken up with her because she had some annoying qualities. Whenever you find yourself reminiscing of the good times, just remember why you took that decision in the first place and everything should mostly run as normal. Go out with friends, dinners and such. Life feels like a blessing. Minimum gym time is required but keep going regularly to maintain muscle mass. Also, the gym is a great place to keep your confidence high and always have the opportunity to meet someone new with like-minded interests. © Getty Images (2) It Was Mutual Sometimes, when you both aren't into it, you decide to call it quits even though things weren't too bad. Like everything was vanilla ice cream. If that is the case, and the break-up was indeed mutual, chances are you and your ex will end on good terms. In such instances, you may find yourself wanting a bit of vanilla ice cream from time to time, if you know what I mean. In these cases, it is best to think of the long-term implications. © Getty Images With an ex like this, the question to ask is how much are things going to change in six months. Such patterns prevent you from finding someone better suited for you. Mutual breakups often mean that things were “okay”. Okay is alright. Okay is basic. Okay is mediocre. This is not something anyone should want from a relationship. So, if you feel like your relationship is a just 'okay' maybe it means you and your significant other are better off as friends. Try and avoid common friend groups and outings but other than that the world is your oyster. Make sure to go to the gym a couple of times a week, hard workouts are recommended. (3) Cheaters Never Win & Winners Don't Cheat Monogamy is overrated when you're young and many of us have strayed from the path of commitment and have been party to some adultery. As a general rule, cheating is bad. Cheating is bad, but it happens. It happens a lot. Let's say either you cheated on her or she cheated on you. The pain, guilt and sadness are all-encompassing. This form of heartache is particularly tough to get over and can, as we said earlier, even last a lifetime. I know of men today who still miss their high school girlfriends well into their late 30s. When you cheat, the game is forever skewed and no amount of repentance or punishment will make it alright. © Getty Images Trust is like a vase, once it's smashed, you can put all the pieces back but you can't get rid of the cracks. Such fragmented relationships need to be forgotten and buried. Do remember that the next time you want to cheat. Whether you're cheated on, or you commit the deed – you will want to spend A LOT of time in the gym. I would also include high-intensity training, some kickboxing and even yoga. This is usually when you see hermit/gym rat-like behaviour leading to drastic transformations. I say, use any anger and fire to burn down all self-doubt.
  9. Samsung and Huawei kicked-off MWC 2019 with their foldable phones and we're still trying to wrap our heads around the groundbreaking technology. Social media and forums are filled with optimists as well as pessimists, and this has become the hottest topic for enthusiasts right now. Companies are ready to mass produce bendable displays, but one question still remains. How are we going to use these foldable phones in real life? How will the software compliment the hardware? It's going to take time to slowly understand different use case scenarios, and develop a finished product. © Nubia But, Nubia is taking this a level further with the launch of Nubia Alpha (styled as α). It's a combination of a watch and a phone, sporting a foldable display and the brand calls this a "wearable phone with a flexible display". To be honest, it's a fancy watch that offers more slightly more features than your regular wearable, but do we really need it right now? It sports a 4-inch 960x192 OLED screen that roughly covers half your wrist. Even though the brand claims it to be a phone, the specs say a different story. It comes with 1GB RAM, 8GB internal memory, and 500mAh battery. There's also a front-facing 5-megapixel camera. Nubia suggests the device will last 1-2 days of regular use, or a week on standby. © Nubia Just like the Apple Watch, it has a built-in eSIM which you can use for calls, texts, and all that other stuff SIM cards can do. It is water resistant, has activity and sleep-tracking along with a heart-rate sensor. Well, you can see movies on the watch if you don't mind standing with your arm lifted at the right angle all the time. And, the OS is custom built. Meaning, don't expect kick-ass app support anytime soon. The OS gets voice controls, air gestures, and other intuitive controls, but we're yet to see how smooth they really are. © Nubia On paper, the watch sounds exciting but lacks any practical usage. Yes, it is technically a "phone", but then the same can be said about the Apple Watch LTE as well. The watch costs a whopping €549 (Rs 44,000) in Europe and expected to ship from the third quarter of this year. Brands need to stop blindly following trends and think about delivering a usable product. You may manage to house a foldable display, but will it offer anything substantially better to the user in day-to-day life?
  10. While the market for MMA fighting in India has grown exponentially in the past decade and fighters of the Indian descent like Agilan Thani and Arjan Singh Bhullar have made the nation proud in the greatest MMA platform of all, that is the UFC, we still have a grand following for traditional and amateur form of wrestling. While athletes likes Sushil Kumar were the flag-bearers of Indian wrestling, younger wrestlers like Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia have taken the contingent to the next level. On the other hand, the game of grapples and holds has also gotten a massive socio-cultural push as Bollywood actors like Salman Khan and Aamir Khan got involved in movies like 'Sultan' and 'Dangal'. Based on the true story of wrestler Mahavir Phogat and his daughters Geeta and Babita Phogat, 'Dangal' more specifically had a huge impact on India's sporting world. The byproduct of which led to the burden of a nation as massive as India on the shoulders of the Phogat sisters (Geeta, Babita, Ritu and Sangita). View this post on Instagram #throwback picture with Crazy brother and sisters ð A post shared by Geeta Phogat (@geetaphogat) on Jan 24, 2019 at 4:06am PST While the two of the elder sisters have committed themselves to traditional wrestling, Ritu Phogat (who won the silver medal during the 2017 U-23 Senior Wrestling Championship in Poland) on the other hand has decided to move to MMA. #NewProfilePic pic.twitter.com/iTsrc6yrLl — RITU PHOGAT (@PhogatRitu) February 25, 2019 Joining Singapore's Evolve Fight Team (EFT), she told TOI: "I am really excited to begin my new journey. The reason I picked MMA is because I want to be the first Indian to become MMA world champion.”. What prompted her to take up MMA? According to Ritu, who had been following the sport very closely for a long time, people had a lot of expectations from her just because of the fact that she is Geeta and Babita's sister. “I want to fulfill their expectations and hopes, not on the mat but inside a cage.” However, giving her official notice to the Wrestling Federation of India for good will cost Ritu Phogat her shot at competing for her nation in the upcoming 2020 Olympics but she is willing to take that risk. We have to commend Phogat's career altering step to move to Singapore. Resembling to boxer Vijender Singh's decision to move to the United States in search for better competition and greater recognition globally, she is in a relentless pursuit of her dreams and stardom.
  11. Unrequited love can be daunting. Essentially because it's a lonesome feeling and is never or partially returned. When you experience love that has become corrosive or toxic or is one sided, it's very unpleasant to deal with these feelings and more often than not you want to wish them away. Sometimes you'd desperately want to wish to not be in love with that particular person but you can't help feeling a certain way. Feelings have a direct link to the mind and more often than not, if your mind is strong you can control how you feel towards something. If you let your mind take over your conscious or sub conscious self, you give it absolute control, becoming a slave to your thoughts and feelings. So, in order to control the way you feel, you need to strengthen the mind. Falling out of love with someone works on the same principle. I know you may feel why should anyone fall out of such a beautiful, cathartic feeling. But love isn't always beautiful. Once scathed, it takes a long while for it to become whole again. © Fos Star Studio So, in case you really want to fall out of love with someone, I definitely can't do some voodoo magic but I can give you some helpful tips in order to successfully let go and feel complete again and to fall out of a strong emotion. Here are 5 ways you can tune your mind in to falling out of love with someone. (1) Do Some Exercises To Strengthen Your Mind When your mind is strong, you'll be able to overcome any feeling that makes you remarkably uncomfortable. It will be a lot easier to let go of how you feel towards something or balance it in your head. Learning a skill is a good way to stay focused and improve mind strength. It also serves as a good distraction! You can learn how to repair a car or cook. Each skill occupies the mind in such a way, it makes it more efficient with time, making it easy to let go of an unsuitable emotion. Mind exercises are fun and let's face it, some of us really need them! © Pintrest (2) Write Them A Letter But Don't Send It Sometimes things become way messy if you keep spilling your anger towards someone who does not reciprocate the same feelings. In such a case, what I'd suggest is for you to write down everything you're feeling in the form of a letter for the other person but don't send it to them. At least not yet. © Pintrest You can detach yourself from all the negative emotions and anger by spilling them in a letter, where you say anything and everything that comes to mind. This helps as the best release mechanism and lets you vent out every possible painful emotion you hold towards them. Maybe when you're over this feeling you can send them the letter, but by then you'd be over them and there wouldn't really be a need. (3) Pay Them No More Attention This is the best and the toughest way to fall out of love with someone. Just pay them no more attention and your mind on an autopilot will follow suit. You have to consciously decide to not give them anymore attention and that's tough because you are so used to focusing on their needs and wants. It's time to focus on yours and stop paying any heed to them. You need to stop ruminating on the past and think about how great or nice this person was. This is the past and it's never coming back, so it's best to focus on yourself and your future. © Pintrest (4) Discuss The Situation With An Unbiased Outsider It's always best to talk about how you feel with a third person so they can give you an absolute unbiased opinion. Make sure though you don't talk to someone who knows the two of you or is a friend of hers. It's best to talk to a therapist as they provide the best analogies and perspectives but in case you don't want to go to one, find a friend who barely knows the situation, a family member or someone you trust and get an opinion from them about how you should let go or fall out of love. © AA films (5) Remember that 'Nothing Good Gets Away' In a letter to his son, John Steinbeck once said 'nothing good gets away' and that's the best rationale you can find when you're falling out of love with someone. What it means is, if you were meant to be in love with someone and the person was meant to reciprocate your feelings, then it wouldn't go away no matter what. But the reason that it's fizzled out is because the person is probably not right for you and if she was, it wouldn't get away. © Pintrest In simpler terms, everything good or bad, happens for a reason and if it's meant to be , it will definitely fall in to place. So, if you're falling out of love with someone, you may fall in love with someone else, which will probably be good for you too! Yes, I agree falling out of love with someone is difficult. I only say this because I have gone through it and it's taken a lot of effort, emotional to and fro and certain realisations to reach that point of no return. But once you reach it, it's liberating like no other and it makes you feel like you've shed the old skin and you're never going to do it again!
  12. With the iPhone X, Apple completely ditched the home button in favour of gestures. The gesture navigation system was soon rolled out by multiple Android OEMs, even though Android doesn't natively support it. Currently, Android OS relies on three core navigation buttons: back button, home button and a recents tab. Google combined the home and recents buttons in Android 9 but kept the back button untouched. Though, this could change in the upcoming Android Q update. © YouTube According to a report by XDA Developers, Google is now planning to completely ditch the conventional Back button to opt for a gesture-based navigation system. And this is a good thing for all of us. Gestures are for sure the future of smartphone navigation, and with core support, the user experience will be drastically better. Google last year launched Android Pie with a new one-touch button and lots of gesture features. Though, the update let users switch back to the older method of navigation. © YouTube Even though a lot of Android phones have gesture navigation available as an option, it works due to the external skin or UI that the OEM has made. This isn't always as smooth and intuitive as native support. In comparison, Apple's navigation is extremely fluid due to deeper software integration. Swiping left on the screen will enable users to go back and swiping right will take users from their current app to the previous app in a card-like transition. Swifter animations are another major revamp that Google could bring with the update. © Google Google shall be announcing the next major update to Android at Google I/O developer conference, that is scheduled for 7 May. Google is also expected to launch a redesigned app info screen with “Material Theme”. There are also rumours that Google could finally bring a system-wide dark mode and even more detailed privacy controls. Google intends to make it easier for users to understand and determine the permissions they are giving to an app. Please keep in mind, these reports are based on early builds of Android Q, an official feature announcements is pending.

Now Locana, a tiny beautiful ghost town in Italy near the Turin region, has yet again offered the same. The government there is offering around 9000 Euros to anyone willing to relocate. That's approximately Rs. 73 lakh but then there's a catch there as well. The amount will be paid in a period of over 3 years, and the prerequisite for this is that you must be married with a kid (they want to populate the place with families). “Our population has shrunk from 7,000 residents in the early 1900s to barely 1,500 as people left looking for a job at Turin's big factories,” Locana's mayor Giovanni Bruno Mattiet told a newspaper. Would you take up an offer like this? As dreamy as it may sound, in terms of practicality, I think it's logistically kind of impossible for us to move there permanently.
  15. If there's a singular style icon that every young man and kid looked up to, and still do even after two decades, it has to be Hrithik Roshan. The fact that the man is flawless in every sense of the term helps - right from his physique to his dancing prowess to his raw magnetism. His fashion game is something that has been equally amazing, right from the iconic 'Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai' days. The net T-shirt and bandana from 'Ek Pal Ka Jeena' was a national rage, and with every passing year, it has only got stronger. SRK's latest film 'Zero' hits the screens tomorrow, and as per reports, film director Aanand L. 18. Shahid Kapoor doesn't care what people think. Why do we think so? He just went ahead and - wait for it - shaved his beard off. The same beard he has been keeping for years, the one that saw him through some of the biggest hits of his career. Now one might think it's just a shave, and what's the big deal? Let us answer that question in three points. Here are three reasons why we think Shahid Kapoor going for a clean shave abruptly is the gutsiest grooming move of 2018. 1. It takes guts to shave your beard off in the month of November. When the entire world is obsessed with feeding their insta feeds with #NoShaveNovember and #Movember, for a mainstream Bollywood actor to go ahead and pull the ultimate stunt is nothing short of gutsy. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Shahid Kapoor (@shahidkapoor) on Nov 26, 2018 at 6:21pm PST 2. Shahid has done it for a role (in case you hadn't guessed it already). Remember Aamir Khan's cult hairstyle for 'Ghajini'? © Viral Bhayani 3. Shahid seems to have shaved 10 years off his age along with the beard. Usually, getting rid of one's beard can be an extremely risky move, but Shahid clearly knows what he's doing - a least as far as his latest pictures without the beard goes. He looks just like he did when he started off his career in Bollywood. 19. Many consider gaming consoles to be a thing of the past given the rising capabilities of mobile phones. But, the comfort and edge that a console provides continue to remain unmatched. It isn't as complicated as PC gaming and offers top-notch gameplay experience. For years, gaming consoles have depended on discs, and this could be changing for good. According to a report by Thurrott, Microsoft is working on a disc-less Xbox One. Slated for release sometime during 2019, the new unit would become the baseline Xbox One S with a cheaper price tag. This would be the company's first attempt to finally implement the "disc-to-digital" program. © Unilad With the disc-less console, the company will also launch a conversion program that will convert physical games to digital. Users shall be able to trade-in their already purchased discs for a digital copy. The PC gaming industry has long shifted to the digital medium and users prefer purchasing games online from platforms like Steam. This way, all the game data is saved in the cloud, multiplayer integration is deeper than ever, and the game is available for download anywhere. © YouTube Making the Xbox One disc-less would also mean the company can bring down the entry-level cost. Currently, the Xbox One S starts at US$ 299, the disc-less version could start lower at US$ 199-250. The Blu-ray disc drive has always taken a large chunk of the unit cost and elimination of the same would open up the product to more buyers. Going all-digital would also let Microsoft offer more services. The company feels a subscription model like the Xbox Game Pass has massive potential as the user can access more games at a fixed periodic rate. We've already seen how the subscription model has changed the music and video streaming industry with Netflix, Spotify, Apple Music, and more. © Windows Central As of now, a particular time frame isn't available, though the report says the console was first targeted for Spring 2019. Microsoft isn't rushing with the disc drive removal and treading carefully with its next line of Scarlett (next-gen Xbox consoles) line-up. Right now, the company is working on creating a more robust digital ecosystem so that the transition is smooth and hassle-free.
  20. Over the years, cricket as a sport has witnessed a lot of changes. The advent of Twenty20 (T20) format has sparked various changes in the way cricketers approach the game. From helicopter shots to reverse scoops, we've seen the batsmen adding new and unique shots to their armoury. An improved level of fitness amongst the batsmen has now enabled them to clear the boundary ropes at will, cutting a sorry figure for the bowlers. But, if the batsmen have improvised over time, their arch nemesis - the bowlers, too, have made crucial changes to their bowling to counter the opposition. From spinners to seam bowlers, the modern-day bowlers are now seen altering their lengths, bowling slower deliveries and deceiving the batsmen with their mystery balls. A similar wizardry came to the fore when the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a video of what looked like a domestic game. The video, which was shared on the social media, shows an Indian left-arm spinner taking a 360-degree spin before releasing the ball in a bid to outsmart the batsmen. The Indian bowler, unlike other ambidextrous bowlers, didn't switch arms. But, it was his unique bowling action - one that would make a Ballerina proud - that took everyone by surprise. While the batsman somehow managed to maintain his focus before successfully defending the ball, the on-field umpire ruled it as a 'dead-ball'. The video, which has got more than 15000 views on Facebook, has taken social media by storm. While some cricket fans opined that it was a legit delivery, others felt that the umpire was right to call it a 'dead-ball'. Jokes apart, there is no liberty for bowlers in cricket. A batsman can play any shot from any positions he likes but a bowler should always stick to the same old style and trying something creative is considered as dead ball. — The Himalayas (@mounteverest_) November 8, 2018 Garba round the wicket 𤣠— vinayak k jadhav (@vinayakkjadha7) November 8, 2018 When gujju miss navaratri while playing cricket! — Sweety (@shahsweetym) November 8, 2018 Seems perfect bowling to me. 21. Love is a beautiful feeling. It makes you feel complete. It keeps you happy. It makes you satisfied and thankful. But, there's a catch. The only way you would feel all of this, is if the love is mutual. via GIPHY However, if your love is one-sided, then it's quite the opposite. Then, it's one of the worst feelings, it makes you a loner and you would often find yourself being sad for no specific reason. In short, one-sided love is a b***h! via GIPHY Given the f****d-up *** ratio (and some unreasonable demands of people), I'm sure many of you who are reading this are going through, or at least have suffered the pain of one-sided love. It's never easy to get over it, especially when you have strong feelings towards that person. via GIPHY However, there are few steps which you can take to try and tackle the infamous one-sided love and move on with your life: 1. No Means No You asked her out and she said no. It happens. Accept it and move on. Don't hold on to her. The famous dialogue “Uski naa me hi uski haan hai” is a myth. There's no such thing. © Dharma Productions If she doesn't accept your love, don't keep pursuing her. You would be making the situation awkward for the both of you. Stop going after her if she has turned you down. 2. Ignorance Is Bliss The more you think of her, the harder it will be for you to move on. It might sound childish but a good way to move on is to delete her from your social media accounts. (And don't stalk her afterwards). via GIPHY Delete her pictures from your phone. The reason being, the less you see her, the better it will be for your mind to concentrate somewhere else and eventually you'll start forgetting her. 3. Don't Give 'Too Much' Time To Yourself Contrary to popular belief, staying alone would make you think about her more. Solitude is not the answer, at least not at first. Go out with your friends, do things which you love to do and keep yourself as busy as you can. via GIPHY If your mind is occupied with something else, then you won't get the time to think of her and this will help you move on. 4. Don't Over Think Things Just because she turned you down doesn't mean there's something wrong with you. Everyone has a different taste and type. It simply means that you aren't her type. There's nothing more to it. via GIPHY Don't start blaming and self-analysing yourself just because she turned you down. Be confident in your own skin and accept that she's looking for something else. 5. There Are Other Fish In The Water Last but not least! As cliché as it may sound but finding someone else actually helps. You don't necessarily have to jump into a relationship but find someone with whom you enjoy spending time (apart from your friends). via GIPHY Thanks to Mr. Modi's Digital India campaigns, it's not difficult to find a date if you have a smartphone. Just swipe right, go out, and have a good time. Keep repeating until you find someone worthy. One-sided love is something which no one should go through, but unfortunately, we don't live in a perfect world. © Dharma Productions If you're in the middle of one, follow the aforementioned steps and move on in life. I'm sure a better future is waiting for you!

  23. Canada has a lot of things our country doesn't and now, another, probably one of the most important things has joined the list. Recreational marijuana is now legal in Canada, yay! This news is technically a few months old and it was back in June when the bill legalizing marijuana passed the senate. It's been too easy for our kids to get marijuana - and for criminals to reap the profits. Today, we change that. Our plan to legalize & regulate marijuana just passed the Senate. #PromiseKept — Justin Trudeau (@JustinTrudeau) June 20, 2018 But, as of today, adults are allowed to carry and share up to 30 grams of legal marijuana in public. Moreover, it's also legal for people to cultivate up to four plants in their households and make products, like edibles, for personal use. Obviously, it won't be available to minors but that's a no-brainer. As much as we would want India to follow suit, it doesn't seem like that will happen anytime soon. Sorry, Uday Chopra, even after your very thought-out tweet, it still is probably a long way to go for us. I feel India should legalize marijuana. Firstly, It's part of our culture. Secondly, I think if legalized and taxed it can be a huge revenue source. Not to mention it will remove the criminal element associated with it. Plus and most importantly it has a lot of medical benefits! — Uday Chopra (@udaychopra) September 13, 2018 But, what we do know is how many Indians prefer moving to Canada. The country is like a mini-Punjab now. I mean, the free healthcare is enough reason to immigrate, but now this as well? It's like Canada just wants to get more and more people to come there. Great move, seriously. So, if you were planning on becoming the 'kaneda wala cousin' of your family, now you have one more reason for it, or should I say, 420 more reasons. 24. Growing up as a kid, most of us were arguably glued to our television sets to watch the episodes of World Wrestling Federation (WWF). Irrespective of our tuition classes or preliminary exams, we somehow managed to find time to catch a glimpse of our favourite wrestlers in action. Today, WWF might have become World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), but many of us still keep pulling off the signature moves of the prominent wrestlers in our bedrooms (well, I still do). Such was the entertainment on offer, that it was just too hard to resist. And, the fact that we still share the WWE stories with our friends over drinks, shows the kind of effect it had on us. At the ongoing Summer Youth Olympics, something similar came to the fore. Moldovan wrestler Alexandrin Gutu had his eyes set on the gold when he locked horns with Russia's Stepan Starodubtsev in the men's Greco-Roman 71kg category final. 25. Ever since taking over the reins from MS Dhoni as captain, Virat Kohli has set new standards in terms of fitness in the Indian cricket team. The Indian skipper is currently the fittest player in international cricket and has ensured fitness is one of the key parameters for a cricketer to make the Team India cut. And, the result is quite clear. Today, the Indian cricket team is considered one of the best fielding sides in the world. The Indian players are a livewire in the field, they run hard between the wickets and the improved levels of fitness have allowed them to add more value to the team. But, despite the improvement in their fitness, none of the Indian cricketers have been able match the levels of captain Kohli. © Reuters Thanks to his dedication in the gym and strict diet, the Delhi lad has managed to leave the other cricketers behind with his fitness. The right-hander might be turning 30 next month, but he is still in the best shape of his life. However, while many feel he is the fittest amongst the current crop of Indian players, Kohli is actually not. In a recent interview, Karun Nair claimed that he is the fittest member of the Indian cricket team. “I've been spending a lot of time with (Shanker) Basu Sir, our trainer, and Sanjay Bangar sir as well, our batting coach. Obviously a lot of throwdowns and a lot of net sessions. But mainly I have been spending time with Basu Sir. According to him, I am the fittest person in the team right now. I am very proud of that and I just want to keep improving on that,” he was quoted as saying by Cricbuzz. The right-handed batsman was one of the contenders to bat in India's middle-order, but he was restricted to the bench during their tour of England earlier this year. He had made his Test comeback during the historic match against Afghanistan in June and was expected to retain his place in Team India for the Test series in England. © Reuters Many expected Nair to be included in the Indian team for the fifth Test against England, but skipper Kohli surprised everyone by opting for Hanuma Vihari instead. In the upcoming two-match Test series against West Indies, Nair was once again excluded from the Indian side as Vihari retained his place owing to his fifty and three-wicket spell in the final Test against England. Team India will host West Indies for two Tests, five One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) in a month-long tour. The two teams will lock horns in the first Test at Rajkot on 4th October.
