  1. Whenever we think about star kids, we think about the privileges and luxuries they get in life. "Oh, they have everything sorted for them, they have it so easy," is something we often hear people say. But, in all honesty, being born to a famous parent does not mean that the star kids are some mythical characters, who live in a parallel dimension or universe. They pretty much live a normal life, eat regular food and take the public transport, just like everyone else. Sounds impossible? Well, then maybe it's just Karan Deol, Sunny Deol's son who is living a regular life. View this post on Instagram #sunnydeol son #karandeol snapped at andheri- ghatkoapar metro ride. A post shared by Viral Bhayani (@viralbhayani) on Feb 4, 2019 at 8:20pm PST Karan Deol, who is making his Bollywood debut with 'Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas', was recently spotted travelling in the metro in Mumbai to reach the film's set. He was travelling on the Andheri-Ghatkopar route. His photos have since gone viral and people on social media have lost their calm. In 2017, Sunny announced the beginning of the film's shoot.
  2. It's Bollywood's OG superhero, Krrish aka Hrithik Roshan's birthday today. Although age is just a number for this Greek god, who was ranked as the world's most handsome actor last year, he turned 45 today. © Instagram From his ex-wife and BFF Suzanne Khan to Sonali Bendre, Preity Zinta and Shabana Azmi, celebrities have flooded social media with birthday posts. However, it was Tiger Shroff who won the best birthday post award and took us on a nostalgic trip we were neither expecting nor ready for. © Instagram As a tribute to Hrithik, whom he calls his inspiration, Tiger posted a video of him dancing to the hit party number 'Ek Pal Ka Jeena' from 'Kaho Naa...Pyaar Hai'. If you remember the song and the signature step by heart, then you had an amazing childhood. Tiger Shroff wrote, "Blessed to be working with my inspiration thank you for being born and giving direction and inspiration to so many of us! #happybirthday." Hrithik Roshan is undoubtedly one of the best dancers Bollywood has ever seen, but Tiger Shroff's tribute video was on another level. Tiger Shroff not only nailed the dance steps of the iconic song, but ended up doing better than Hrithik Roshan. View this post on Instagram Blessed to be working with my inspiration ððððð thank you for being born and giving direction and inspiration to so many of us! #happybirthday @hrithikroshan ⤠A post shared by Tiger Shroff (@tigerjackieshroff) on Jan 9, 2019 at 10:52pm PST As we speak about 'Ek Pal Ka Jeena', let's re-watch the song again. On the work front, Tiger and Hrithik will soon share screen space in Siddharth Anand's next film. Although, not much is known about the film yet, we're confirmed about two things - an epic dance-off between Hrithik and Tiger and some insane high-octane action scenes.

  4. There are mashups and then there are mashups. Satvik B is a musician from Singapore whose latest cover of 3 songs – SoMo's 'Ride', 'Raabta', and Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan's beautiful classic 'Sannu Ek Pal' -- is sheer magic. Satvik transitions effortlessly between these three of our favourite songs and by the end of the video, you have teleported back to the teenage years of first love. While Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan's original 'Sannu Ek Pal' still remains the best version of the song that can be, we like this version for its refreshing new voice. Also, while you're at it, here's a Bollywood medley by the singer that's worth listening to:
  5. You don’t need tons of money or influence to help the society, sometimes a noble heart and selfless attitude is all it takes to make a difference and Tejinder Pal Singh is living proof. Singh is the founder of ‘Food Van’, an organization that serves free food to the homeless and the needy people on the last day of every month. Singh is not a millionaire or a businessman, he drives a taxi for a living, yet every month he organizes a feast for all those people, from his own pocket. Recognizing his efforts, Singh will be honoured as the 2017 Northern Territory Local Hero as a part of ‘Australian of the Year’ award on January 25, for feeding the homeless people and for his services to the Sikh community. In fact, he even got great support from Michael Gunner, Northern Territory’s chief minister. © Twitter In 2006, Singh came from India and started driving a taxi. His journey was far from being rosy, yet he never lost hope and worked towards the betterment of the society. He was subjected to racial abuse by a passenger in his taxi, but his reply left many a people stunned and even acted as a catalyst in bringing a change in people’s behaviour towards him and his community. He didn’t lose his cool and explained that it’s their religious faith that requires them to cover their heads with turban and why turbaned Sikhs are ‘as much a creation of god as any other human being.’ Truly, well said! 2017 NT Local Hero is food van founder & taxi driver Tejinder pal Singh who provides free food for hungry and needy people around Darwin. pic.twitter.com/IOjUpq7Z9b — AusoftheYearAwards (@ausoftheyear) November 2, 2016 Earlier, in the year 2015, he was honoured as ‘Australian of the Day’ for feeding the homeless. While, there are some people fighting over religion, here is one man who is restoring our faith in both religion and humanity. But, what inspires him to work so selflessly? He believes, “My religion says 10% of my income should go towards helping those in need and those who need to eat. It does not matter what religion they belong to or what country them come from.” We truly salute your attitude Mr. Singh and feel that you deserve every bit of the respect people have for you. If only we could think like him, the world would definitely become a better place for everyone irrespective of their nationality or religion. Source: The Times Of India
