  1. Salman Khan has always maintained that he does not give much credit to the reviews by the critics, instead, it's the box office collection which is the key validating factor to a movie's success. Salman's latest release 'Bharat', which is an official remake of the South Korean film 'Ode to My Father', started off on a great note but then lost its pace at the box office market and now, it looks like it has run out of steam. The movie has managed to earn Rs 188.65 crore at the ticket windows and is struggling to cross the Rs 200 crore mark. The movie opened to mixed reviews from critics, as some called it bland while some termed it the perfect Eid blockbuster. We wonder if the movie will be able to make Rs 200 crore at the box office. 'Bharat' was released on 4,700 screens in India and on over 1,300 screens overseas. In one of the group interviews, while promoting the movie, Salman said, “My validation comes from the box office collections... that the people have liked or not liked a film. It doesn't make a difference if someone (a critic) has given it so many stars (ratings) or ridiculed the film. It's their bread and butter. God bless them, give them two more (slices of) bread.” View this post on Instagram Thank you so much for all the love and support you have shown towards 'Bharat' #BharatAudienceReactions @bharat_thefilm @aliabbaszafar @atulreellife #BhushanKumar @katrinakaif @tabutiful @apnabhidu @sonalikul @dishapatani @whosunilgrover @norafatehi @iaasifsheikhofficial @nikhilnamit @reellifeproduction @skfilmsofficial @tseries.official A post shared by Salman Khan (@beingsalmankhan) on Jun 13, 2019 at 3:03am PDT Now that the movie is struggling to touch the Rs 200 crore mark, we wonder what Salman has to say seeing the current scenario. 'Bharat' is produced by Atul Agnihotri's Reel Life Production Pvt Ltd and Bhushan Kumar's T-Series. The film also stars Katrina Kaif, Disha Patani and Jackie Shroff in pivotal roles. 2. When it comes to Bollywood's 'Sultan' Salman Khan, everything needs to be larger than life, and away from the mainstream. But when you begin to wonder how that can be incorporated in every aspect of his life, Sallu Bhai will show you just how that can be done. Let's take for instance that one constant that has been a part of Salman's life throughout these years. That has to be his love for fitness and bodybuilding, right? And as if that's not all, every now and then Salman keeps giving us a glimpse of his fitness regimen which is nothing less than motivating. © Twitter Hours ago, Salman shared another such video which is motivating us to get onto the path of fitness. Donning his fitness gear and recorded in his gym, the video takes “leg day” to new heights. Check out this super cool video that Salman shared on his official Instagram feed and you will know what we mean. View this post on Instagram After experiencing the highs and lows my security has finally realised how secure they are wid me .. ha ha A post shared by Salman Khan (@beingsalmankhan) on Jun 17, 2019 at 10:33am PDT As you can see, for his leg workout, Salman can be seen lifting two of his heavyweight bodyguards instead of regular weights. If that isn't turning the beast mode on, we wonder what is! Salman captioned the video saying, “After experiencing the highs and lows my security has finally realised how secure they are wid me .. ha ha” © Facebook Not sure about his security personnel, but we are sure as hell impressed with Salman's strength. Let's take this video as all the inspiration we need to get on with our new year's resolution and get fit and ripped at the gym.
  3. Salman Khan doesn't follow the set patterns of Bollywood's rulebook and you might agree with us on this. He doesn't care if his movies are not given great ratings by the film critics because according to him, it's the box office numbers that validate any film. Salman Khan's latest release 'Bharat', which is an official remake of the South Korean film 'Ode to My Father', has turned out to be a lucky project for the actor. The movie is doing pretty well at the domestic market and is inching close to earning Rs 200 crores. The movie opened to mixed reviews from critics as some called it 'bland' and some termed it the perfect Eid blockbuster. But, none of these ratings affect our superstar, Salman Khan, in fact, he feels “scared” when critics praise his movies. In one of the group interviews, while promoting the movie, Salman said, “My validation comes from the box office collections... that the people have liked or not liked a film. It doesn't make a difference if someone (a critic) has given it so many stars (ratings) or ridiculed the film. It's their bread and butter. God bless them, give them two more (slices of) bread,” Salman said in a group interview. Asked how he feels when the critics give glorious reviews to his films, the actor said he is unable to wrap his head around it. To all the journalists who have interviewed me during #Bharat ... a big thank u to all... — Salman Khan (@BeingSalmanKhan) June 12, 2019 He added that he wants the audience to go to the theatres and forget about their life in general when they are watching his movies. Apart from Salman, 'Bharat' also stars Katrina Kaif, Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff, Nora Fatehi, Sunil Grover and Tabu. The movie chronicles important events that have taken place in the country after Independence. Have you seen 'Bharat'? Let us know in the comments below.
  4. Bharat Movie Cast: Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Sunil Grover, Jackie Shroff, Sonali Kulkarni, Disha Patani, Satish Kaushik Bharat Movie Director: Ali Abbas Zafar Bharat Movie Rating: 4/5 Salman Khan and Eid go hand in hand. Ever wondered why Salman's fans celebrate his every movie like a big festival? Well, you might not find any probable answer to this, but it's a given that his followers treat his movies like the most-awaited event of the season, and with good reason too. This time, the audience has been served with a mixed bowl of emotions and actions on their platter with 'Bharat' and when you have Ali Abbas Zafar as a director, you know the movie has a lot to offer. 'Bharat' will make you laugh, cry and even feel patriotic at the same time. The basic root of the film is the tragic story of those who lost their loved ones when a bunch of 'corrupt politicians' decided to cut through 'Bharat' and make it India and Pakistan. If you are thinking of investing your money and time into 'Bharat', then you can probably go ahead, because it won't disappoint you at all. There is a chance you could feel a sense of deja vu, as you might get a rush of memories from Salman's 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' days, as there is a similar element of emotion and patriotism. In all honesty, 'Bharat' is the perfect Eidi after the disastrous sob-fest that was 'Race 3' (no offence to the makers, clearly). 'Bharat' is an official adaptation of a South Korean drama 'Ode to my Father' (2014). The movie shows Salman in five avatars, dating from 1947 to 2010. So, the young Bharat is separated from his father and sister during the Indo-Pak partition in 1947, after which he dedicates his entire life to the one promise that he made to his father (played by Jackie Shroff), that he will always take care of his family. Of course, goes without saying that 'Bharat' is an absolute treat for those who have been dying to see Katrina Kaif and Salman on the big screen together again. The chemistry between the two is simply brilliant, and their cute banter throughout the movie will make you question if they are equally close off-screen as well. Katrina, in terms of acting, has surely come a long way. Those who have seen 'Zero' would agree with my statement. Katrina, in 'Bharat', is free-spirited and bold and people are bound to love this avatar of hers. If you're wondering about Salman's performance, then you probably should see the film for yourself, because if I tell you, I reckon I would be stealing your joy of watching Bhai in all his glory. The cherry on the cake has to be Sunil Grover, and in every sense, he finally has his perfect big Bollywood movie. Ali has made sure that Sunil's character doesn't fade or lose focus before Salman's presence. Disha Patani makes a brief period appearance but still manages to impress you with her killer looks and moves. Every character in the movie is justified and why not? It's an Ali Abbas Zafar movie after all. Yes, the movie is lengthy and just before the interval, you might feel that it is a bit stretched, but don't worry, 'Bharat' picks up the pace rather soon again. The movie is not limited to just the love story between Bharat and Kumud (Katrina Kaif). It recounts significant historic instances of our nation, like the 1947 partition, Jawaharlal Nehru's death, the 1983 Cricket World Cup, liberalization, and yes, even globalization. The score of the movie has done a brilliant job in keeping up with changing eras and gives the audience the perfect feel of a rapidly progressing nation. Just like any movie, 'Bharat' is also not perfect and has its own decent share of flaws. However, it does not leave you disappointed or feeling unsatisfied. So, book your tickets and watch this Salman movie. Try not to overanalyze everything you see and you are bound to come out of the hall feeling sated!
  5. A Salman Khan movie on Eid is what we call 'sone pe suhaga'. Salman has always managed to block the occasion of Eid for his big releases and this time is no different either. We have 'Bharat' releasing on June 5. Fans are eagerly waiting as Salman is coming back with Ali Abbas Zafar. Considering 'Sultan' and 'Tiger Zinda Ha' were hits, there are a lot of expectations from this film too. For the uninitiated, the film is an official remake of the Korean drama, 'An Ode To My Father' and will see Salman sporting 5 different looks over the span of 70 years. View this post on Instagram When Bharat & crew went aboard on an actual ship! #BharatInMalta (Link in bio) @bharat_thefilm @aliabbaszafar @atulreellife #BhushanKumar @katrinakaif @tabutiful @apnabhidu @sonalikul @dishapatani @whosunilgrover @norafatehi @iaasifsheikhofficial @nikhilnamit @reellifeproduction @skfilmsofficial @tseries.official A post shared by Salman Khan (@beingsalmankhan) on May 29, 2019 at 10:30pm PDT Well, a Salman movie does come loaded with star power but last two Eid releases, 'Tubelight' and 'Race 3', didn't work well. Clearly, the wave of cinema is changing and content is the only winner. Yes, Salman has that star power but can he help the cause of a movie if the content is not what the audience appreciates? You know the answer. View this post on Instagram âª#Bharat #Eid2019 ⬠A post shared by Salman Khan (@beingsalmankhan) on May 21, 2019 at 6:16am PDT But you can't ignore the fact Ali is the captain of the ship and you can trust that 'Bharat' would do well. Before the big release, MensXP got in touch with the Trade Experts to know if Salman Khan's 'Bharat' would be a blockbuster or if it would be a dud like that of 'Tubelight' and 'Race 3'. Here's what they have to say: Atul Mohan Let's not ignore the fact the highest grossing Eid release was 'Sultan' with Ali Abbas Zafar in 2016. 'Tubelight' (2017) and 'Race 3' (2018) were not really great films. Salman coming back with Ali is surely one of the highlights and this would be their third collaboration after 'Sultan' and 'Tiger Zinda Hai'. Both films have been blockbusters. This Eid, you have a successful actor-director Jodi. I think this time I feel you have the factor of Ali Abbas that will come into play. I feel the buzz is in general low because of the two back-to-back failed Eid releases. The excitement level is not high, but at the end of the day, it all depends on the content. Ali has always represented Salman very differently and it would surely help to get the viewers to come to the theatres. This time, we will get to see Salman in different avatars. It's an official adaptation of 'An Ode To My Father' which is also considered as landmark cinema. Talking about box office numbers, I am sure they are very confident about their content and that's why they are releasing on June 5. According to me, the movie will mint around Rs 25 crores on Day 1. Salman has an altogether different aura. At the end of the day, the content should be good and nothing can stop it from being a hit. View this post on Instagram Come witness an extraordinary Journey of an ordinary Man #ZindaSong (Full Song Link in bio) @bharat_thefilm @aliabbaszafar @atulreellife #BhushanKumar @katrinakaif @tabutiful @apnabhidu @sonalikul @dishapatani @whosunilgrover @norafatehi @iaasifsheikhofficial #JuliusPackiam @vishaldadlani @nikhilnamit @reellifeproduction @skfilmsofficial @tseries.official A post shared by Salman Khan (@beingsalmankhan) on May 17, 2019 at 1:58am PDT Girish Johar See, expectations from the film are quite high because of the two factors. First, because it's Salman's Eid release and the second is that he is coming back with Ali Abbas Zafar. Ali has been a winner at the box office. The trailer and the songs have been doing pretty well. But, at the end of the day, it's based on the content that the audience would decide if it matches their expectations or not. On the face of it, it is not going to take a huge start. Salman Khan fans would be thronging the theatres as it's Eid release. I am sure people would at least watch it once. It's positioned itself well but if the content is not as great as that of 'Kalank', nothing really can be done. I, somehow, feel the movie might earn around Rs 35 crores on its first day. View this post on Instagram 'Journey of a man and a nation together' #BharatTrailer Trailer link in the Bio! @bharat_thefilm @aliabbaszafar @atulreellife #BhushanKumar @katrinakaif @tabutiful @apnabhidu @sonalikul @dishapatani @whosunilgrover @norafatehi @iaasifsheikhofficial @nikhilnamit @reellifeproduction @skfilmsofficial @tseries.official A post shared by Salman Khan (@beingsalmankhan) on Apr 22, 2019 at 1:30am PDT Akshaye Rathi Traditionally, we believe that movies don't work on Ramzan but then you had 'Baahubali' that's one of the biggest hits that released during Ramzan. Nothing matters if the content has its own merit and Ali has already proved it through his movies. He has instilled that faith in us. To me, Ali is the strongest link despite Salman being the terrific actor that he is. If the script is weak like that of 'Tubelight' or 'Race 3', even a Salman Khan beyond a point can't do much to save the film. It's more about content and classic example is of Vicky Kaushal's 'URI'. The star only adds to the opening figures because of the stardom. The producers of the film are lucky to have Ali Abbas on board as a director. Seeing his track record and not just with Salman, we can say that the magic would work. Considering all the factors in mind, I feel the movie should earn nothing less than Rs 35 crores on Day 1. What's your bet? Are you planning to watch 'Bharat' on June 5? Let us know in the comments section below.
  6. "He may have aged, but he's still a lion uncaged!" We are not saying this, the makers and scriptwriters of 'Bharat' are, in this latest dialogue promo that was released today. Well, we don't know when Salman Khan's transition from being a 'Tiger' to a lion happened, but he's fierce regardless. And this promo is just a glimpse of how 'Bharat' is going to be much more than Salman romancing and dancing with Katrina Kaif and Disha Patani. T-Series In case you didn't know this already, the movie is a remake of the South Korean hit film 'An Ode To My Father' and will see Salman Khan in different characters ranging from an 18-year-old to a 72-year-old. T-Series We have already seen in trailers and teasers how Salman will look like as a circus artist or as a Navy officer, now it's time for us to see how an old Salman (probably in his 70s) will look like, while fighting with goons. T-Series The 20-second video shows a grandpa Salman being bullied by some goons. As expected Salman's 'andar ka boodha sher' awakens and he thrashes all of them with his bare hands (something only he can do). Is it just me or the action scenes and Salman looked strikingly similar to how he was in 'Kick' (only some years older)? Maybe, if 'Kick' makers ever plan to make a series, here's how Salman will look like in 'Kick 20'. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, 'Bharat' is releasing on June 5 and also stars Sunil Grover, Jackie Shroff and Nora Fatehi.
  7. Salman Khan fans have been waiting for 'Dabangg 3' with bated breath for a long time now. The movie became popular among the fans because of Salman's raunchiness and yes, Malaika Arora's special item number 'Munni Badnaam Hui'. After Malaika walked out, Kareena Kapoor Khan stepped in for the second instalment of the franchise and made a mark with her song 'Fevicol Se'. Now, we can't help but wonder who will add that spice element in 'Dabangg 3'? What if we tell you that Salman Khan is set take the lead for this special number? Yes, you heard it right. According to a report in the Asian Age, Salman would be recreating Malaika's item song, but with a twist. A source told the publication, "Malaika Arora's foot-tapping item number Munni Badnaam Hui will be re-created and will feature Salman. This time, it will be presented to the audiences with a different twist." The source also added that the lyrics will drastically change and the song will be called Munna Badnaam Hua. Watch the original 'Munni Badnaam' song here: The report also suggested that the plot will take you back to Chulbul Pandey's college days before he joined the Police department. Dabangg 3' stars Salman Khan as Chulbul Pandey, Sonakshi Sinha as Rajjo and Arbaaz Khan would be reprising his role of Makkhi. Directed by Prabhudheva, 'Dabangg 3' is scheduled to release on December 20, 2019. Stay tuned for more such updates.
  8. Deepika Padukone and Salman Khan in a movie together? It's surely a hard pill to digest but reports floating around suggest that the dimpled beauty has finally given a nod to sharing screen space with Khan in 'Kick 2'. Their pairing has been on the cards for a long time, but nothing really materialized. If a report in Bollywood Hungama is to be believed, the two will be seen in one frame now. For all their fans, it will surely be a visual delight. A source told the entertainment website that Deepika was the first choice for 'Kick' but things back then didn't really pan out. Jacqueline Fernandez stepped into the role and it was a turning point in her career. The source added that Deepika's role has been given full attention. "Deepika can't play just a typical Salman heroine. Her role has to be as powerful as Salman's. Sajid is working on it, injecting heft into the female lead," said the source. © Instagram/Colors Wondering why the two superstars possibly coming together for 'Kick 2' is a massive development? It's because the two have a history and not a particularly pleasant one. By history, we mean their statements about each other in the public domain weren't too pleasing. Salman, in a statement, had called depression a luxury and said that he can't afford to be depressed as it will work against him. This didn't go down pretty well with the 'Piku' actor and she gave it back saying, "Depression is sometimes perceived as a luxury... (But) It is important to break that myth." Deepika has rejected not one but six big movies with Salman Khan. But now, if this development turns out to be true, it seems like the two have let bygones be bygones. Are you excited to see Deepika and Salman in one frame? Let us know in the comments section below.
  9. Salman Khan is gearing up for the Eid release of his much-awaited, blockbuster in the making, 'Bharat' and is currently busy shooting for his 'Dabangg 3'. However with everyone experimenting with the web-series genre, one wonders if 'Bhai' would ever consider this medium as his preferred choice of making content. Unlike Saif Ali Khan, who is doing a fantastic job with 'Sacred Games', Salman holds a very different perspective towards making and acting in a web series. In one of his recent interviews, he shared his views on why he doesn't want to work in one. “I don't like it. I mean, it's a damn good space but I don't like all that is being shown on the digital platforms.” Talking about censorship being a problem with the digital medium, he added, “In films, if there are three-four extra punches, it gets censored and we get an A certificate. We get a U/A certificate only when we cut some scenes but on the web, they show anything and everything. There is no censorship. There should be an appointed body that takes that call. My problem is that young kids are also watching it because everyone has access to a phone. So, that's not cool with me.” Salman is very happy with his choice of films and wants it to remain that way. Even though it's his personal choice, we kind of feel his reasoning is a bit absurd, as with the world switching to a 'Netflix and chill' mode, many major superstars are foraying into this world. But then again, he is 'Bhai' and can still pull a sizeable number of fans to the theatres, we guess.
  10. Two Khans of our Bollywood, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, never miss a chance to appreciate each other on social media platforms. The whole country is praising the trailer of Salman Khan's 'Bharat'. Just like Bhai fans are going gaga over the trailer, SRK too seemed to have loved the trailer. He took to Twitter to give a shout-out to the film and wrote, "Kya baat hai bhai!! Bahut Khoob." As soon as SRK tweeted, their fans got one more reason to celebrate their friendship. Here's the tweet: Kya baat hai bhai!! Bahut Khoob. https://t.co/0t8hQoUSbJ — Shah Rukh Khan (@iamsrk) April 22, 2019 The trailer shows Salman Khan in five avatars and it has left all the movie buffs waiting for more. The trailer tells the story of a middle-class old man Bharat, who takes us back to 1947 when India attained its independence. Salman and Katrina Kaif are a deadly combination and fans are happy to see this 'jodi' back on the silver screen. Apart from Salman and Katrina, the film also stars Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff and Sunil Grover in pivotal roles. Bharat is an official remake of the Korean film, 'An Ode To My Father'. It will be interesting to see how Ali Abbas Zafar has given it an Indian twist. © Salman Khan Films In an earlier interview, Ali had said that it's important to show Salman in a different light as the Indian cinema is now changing and doing something different with every film, and that will help them make a mark. Are you looking forward to watching the film? Let us know in the comments below. Meanwhile, check out the trailer here:
  11. Salman 'bhai' is back with his 'Eid' gift for fans all over the globe. The trailer of his much-awaited 'Bharat' finally dropped a few minutes ago and before we talk about it, let's have a look at it. Ali Abbas Zafar is back with Katrina and Salman as a team in a tried and tested formula which looks like it will be a super hit. The movie also stars Disha Patani and Sunil Grover in pivotal roles and is a remake of the Korean hit, 'An Ode To My Father'. The movie follows a chronology of India over six decades and Salman Khan will be donning five different looks in the movie. Salman's character is also named 'Bharat' which is like a metaphorical representation of the country itself. SKF The trailer stays true to a typical Salman 'bhai' movie. It has good background score, the enigma of Salman himself, lovely ladies to add more value to the script and a whole 'over the top' vibe. Fans are absolutely loving the trailer already. #BharatTrailer is out now Owesome trailer...it could be the biggest blockbuster of the year Please go and watch pic.twitter.com/3ClMkR2HHU — SalmanKhanfc (@itsSalmanKhanfc) April 22, 2019 Going by the merits of #BharatTrailer, BONAFIDE BLOCKBUSTER is a given. Seems @beingsalmankhan has delivered his most fervid performance till date. Trailer is Perfect blend of mass & class. Katrina nails it. @aliabbaszafar “does whatever it takes” https://t.co/QlsxPYJIpW — Sumit kadel (@SumitkadeI) April 22, 2019 Salman's last spell at the box-office was a dud in the form of 'Race 3' but knowing the actor, he always bounces back, thanks to the kind of movies he makes, which have many takers out there. The movie is releasing on 5th June this year, so we have something grand to look forward to this Eid, like every Eid. Get ready to witness the journey of a man and a nation together.
  12. At an age when most of us were struggling with homework and what games to play, he was busy dancing with bigwigs like Salman Khan (who also happens to be his idol). From 'Dance Bangla Dance', 'Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa', 'India's Got Talent' to even 'Comedy Nights With Kapil', there's not a single reality show, which this talented kid has not been a part of. Twitter We're talking about Akshat Singh from Mumbai, who impressed everyone with his goofy antics and awesome dance performances. Fast forward to the present time and now at all of 13, Akshat has made the entire nation proud by representing India at 'Britain's Got Talent'. YouTube Hailing from Mumbai, Akshat not only stood confidently in front of judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Williams, but also compelled them to give him a standing ovation. Akshat's desi swag and crazy moves on a song from Hrithik Roshan's 'Agneepath' moved people so much that even Ant and Dec couldn't stop themselves from using their Golden Buzzer. This means Akshat has already secured a place in the live shows. YouTube "I have two mottos in life: to make people happy and to show that nothing is impossible," Akshat told the judges before he blew everyone's minds away with his Bollywood dance moves. YouTube The judges were already impressed, but when it was the time to vote, Ant and Dec came to the stage, walked up to the judges and used their Golden Buzzer for 2019. Akshat was left in tears, as Ant and Dec walked up to him and the stage got filled with golden confetti. We are very proud of you, Akshat.
  13. After the most anticipated wait in cinematic history, 'Avengers: Endgame' is finally around the corner and we can't wait to book our tickets already! Recently John Russo, one of the directors of 'Avengers: Endgame' was in the country, Mumbai to be precise, for the launch of the Marvel anthem composed by A.R Rahman and he revealed some interesting trivia he knows and keeps on Bollywood. © TOI Bollywood has a cult following across the world now. With its stark flamboyancy, colours that can give you a headache and songs that can probably mesmerise you, it's no surprise that Hollywood looks towards the East to draw some parallel inspiration every once a while. Well, Russo does the same. In an interview with a popular publication, Russo revealed how he loved watching Bollywood cinema when he found the time and that his favourite movies were 'Dabangg' and 'Robot'. This was definitely something we didn't expect. The Marvel Cinematic Universe director watching 'Dabangg'? Really? But he revealed that he loved the way the action sequences were shot and that he was a Salman admirer (like we don't have enough around already!) © Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd When Russo was asked where he caught these films, he said over the years he'd been watching a lot of fun stuff in the edit rooms, but these movies were mostly seen when he was on an aeroplane, off to his travels. “For the last seven years, I have been able to watch a lot of stuff other than these movies in the edit room. But when I get into airplanes and I have to travel a lot, I like to catch up on movies, especially global cinema,” he said. “I remember reading about 'Dabangg' so when I got into the plane, it was on there and I watched it and I loved it. I loved the camera work and the tone. It's very entertaining. It reminded me of some of the work we did in Community,” © Twitter He also mentioned how Rajinikanth's 'Robot' influenced 'Avengers: Age Of Ultron' and that's the kind of revelation every Bollywood filmmaker needs to hear! Well, post this revelation from his end, he was asked the most pertinent question ever. Since he'd seen both Rajinikanth and Salman in action, he was asked what characters they would play best from the Avengers and to that he took no time to say Rajinikanth would perfectly fit the bill as Iron Man and Sallu would play the Hulk for sure! I mean wow, he'd probably envisioned the two as Stark and the Hulk when he saw their movies, in all probability. 14. Salman Khan, or 'Bhai' as he is lovingly called in Bollwood, is not only known for his movies but for his extravagant habit of indulging in expensive assets. Here are 9 such assets owned by 'Bhai' which is making us fel very poor compared to him: 1. Gorai Beach home Mumbai beaches do not provide the Khan family with any exclusivity towards the beach so Salman 'bhai' has a legit gorgeous 5 BHK beach home which he bought on his 51st birthday. The insane property is spread across 100 acres and has a gym, a big swimming pool, a theatre, and the sea-facing bungalow also reportedly has a dirt bike arena for some more fun. As per reports, this cost him close to a Rs 100-crore hole in his pocket. © Instagram 2. Panvel Farmhouse This place is the resident party place for the family's parties for their friends. This place is spread lavishly over 150 acres of land and besides the usual gorgeous room, a gym, a swimming pool and all that jazz, this farm also house horses and other domesticated animals. Reportedly, this came with a price tag of some Rs 80 crore. 3. Triplex Flat In Bandra The Khan family currently resides in the famed 'Galaxy Apartments' but Salman Bhai invested in this 11-storey building which is currently under construction. Rumour has it that the family might shift into this Rs 30 crore abode here once it's done. 4. Private Yacht Obviously, all the jet set getaways to Alibaug and travelling to their beach homes require a wonderful private yacht by the Khan family. Reportedly, Salman and his bhais have a yacht which cost him a whopping Rs 3 crore. © Instagram 5. Fleet Of Cars Salman has a wonderful collection of cars, courtesy his travel in Mumbai and the entourage that travels with him. His garage is overflowing with cars like the Mercedes Benz GL Class (approx. Rs 80 lakh), Mercedes Benz S Class ( approx Rs 82 lakh), an Audi A8 L (approx. Rs 1.13 crore), the BMW X6 (around Rs 1.15 crore,) a Toyota Land Cruiser (approx Rs 1.29 crore), the Audi RS7 (approx Rs 1.4 crore) and a Range Rover (over Rs 2.06 crore), an Audi R8 (costing around Rs 2.31 crore) and also a Lexus LX470 (approx Rs 2.32 crore). PHEW! 6. Crazy Expensive Bikes Salman Bhai owns the gorgeous Hayabusa which cost him over Rs 16 lakh. Along with that, he owns the Yamaha R1 which is around Rs 15 lakh, the Suzuki GSX-R 1000Z which costs Rs 16 lakh and the Suzuki Intruder M1800 RZ which is around Rs 16 lakh. 7. Super Expensive Bicycle Bhai is often spotted on Mumbai streets bicycling his stress away. Now, one would wonder an expensive bicycle would cost around a lakh or so but his Giant Propel 2014 XTC is over Rs 4 lakh. Yepp, 'shauq badi cheez hai'! © Instagram 8. Being Human Brand The brand has Salman Khan as the prime owner and is estimated to be valued for over Rs 235 crore. © Instagram 9. Production Company Salman ventured into production with his movie 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' and launched his banner SKF. He has co-produced numerous movies since then.

  16. Salman Khan is something like a Godfather to not so starry star-kids and aspiring actors in Bollywood. Over the years Salman has presented the Hindi film industry with numerous newbies by launching them, and by his own admission, he has no plans of stopping anytime soon. As 'Notebook' hits the theatres today, it also marks the debut film of yesteryear actress Nutan's granddaughter and actor Mohnish Bahl's daughter Pranutan, as well as Salman's friend Iqbal's son, Zaheer. Talking about launching fresh faces in the industry, Salman told Bombay Times, “Shera's son Tiger is being groomed right now and he's already being considered by so many producers and directors. Shera feels I will be the best judge of a script for his son, so I am now sifting through scripts. I am yet to find something worthy.” View this post on Instagram I am there waiting, watching and keeping to the shadows. He admits that he will continue to launch newcomers in the industry for as long as he can because, “I was also launched at some point and I think the industry can do with some more fresh talent,” he said. © Pintrest Well, we can see where that motivation is coming from, and sure enough if these aspiring actors get the boost they need, and prove their mettle, they might actually add great flavour to the industry's growing young brigade. However, only their talent will prove their worth in the longer run. Let's see what is in store for Tiger.
  17. India is a rich land of culture, multiple languages and even better food. Now, the government is trying its best to ensure that every sort of tourism and every cultural aspect of this melting pot of our rich history is glorified and promoted. So, as per the latest plan of schemes, the government wants to focus on the development and the promotion of the beautiful Urdu language in India, and to do this, it is tapping into the power of Bollywood with SRK, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif being considered to do the needful promotion. © Instagram The decision is being steered by the Ministry of Human Resource Development's autonomous body National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language (NCPUL) but the people of the nation are divided over it. A lot of people are opposing this idea, trashing it and ridiculing the actors, claiming that having Salman and Katrina promote Urdu is like ensuring it dies a natural death. Katrina Kaif promoting Urdu! This has to be the biggest joke of 2019 https://t.co/xVLO9S2oFa — Iqbal Grewal (@IqbalGrewal1) March 18, 2019 Didn't know Katrina Kaif spoke Urdu,, let alone promote it... https://t.co/b1cwc4gfJd — shantanudutta (@shantanudutta) March 18, 2019 Now, the problem with trolling is that the target here are the actors who have not given a final word, made no announcement or even endorsed this idea on their own personal social media accounts. Sure, we are all entitled to have an opinion and this is a fair point that just by the virtue of being a Bollywood actor, it doesn't mean that they can actually promote a language, which they probably don't even speak themselves. However, trolling them to be the choice of a decision-making body is actually silly. While various memes and jokes are being generated on social media, there have been some sensible internet consumers who have tried to understand that a Katrina Kaif or a Salman Khan is not a problem , but maybe the people choosing them are making a weird decision, which is not suitable for Urdu lovers across the nation. © Instagram Some people have very respectfully suggested the name of Javed Akhtar and even Salim Khan (Salman's father) to be the endorsers and that makes perfect sense. So the next time one decides to troll, maybe it will be a good idea to think twice before doing it?
  18. Bhai is back! Actually, about six of him are back, because that's kind of what the teaser of the much-awaited movie 'Bharat' is suggesting. Salman Khan, obviously, has the monopoly over Eid movie releases and while he missed the mark last time when his business just remained his business and none of our business, it looks like he's back to redeem himself. Or not, because we all know even if this is a disaster like 'Race 3', it will still earn hundreds of crores for sure. Coming back to the teaser, it seems like the movie will follow his character Bharat from different stages of his life with vastly different professions, everything from a Navy officer and then an ageing boxer. While Sallu Bhai's fans were busy raving about the teaser, everyone else got to work on the obvious, which is turning the teaser into memes. From all of Salman's different looks to the surname dialogue, everything was perfect meme material and people on Twitter came through, of course. The universal license plate? 19. The much-awaited teaser of Salman Khan's 'Bharat' is out and looks like the Eid of 2019 is going to be a great one for both Salman and his fans. The teaser begins with an overcrowded train entering a railway station in Pakistan, hinting at the time of Partition of India. Then enters the 'Dabangg' Khan aka Salman and takes over the 1 minute 30 seconds video as Bharat, a man who is beyond caste, creed, religion and surname. In fact, in the voiceover, Salman Khan says that his father named him Bharat, after his country. © Salman Khan Films In the teaser, Salman appears to have multiple professions and adventures. He first appears as a badass motorcyclist who jumps through a ring of fire like it's nobody's damn business. He is then shown as a Navy officer and then an ageing boxer. Honestly, this 1 minute 30 seconds video looks better than the 2 hours 40 minutes called 'Race 3'. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, 'Bharat' also stars Katrina Kaif, Jackie Shroff, Sonali Kulkarni, Disha Patani and Nora Fatehi. For those who don't know, 'Bharat' is a remake of a 2014 Korean movie called 'An Ode To My Father'. 'Bharat' is expected to release in June during Eid.

We are all aware of the fact that regardless of how jam-packed his day might be, the man never shies away from sweating it out at the gym. Salman is currently shooting in Mumbai for the last leg of his upcoming film 'Bharat', starring Katrina Kaif as the female lead. As we all know, Hrithik made his official acting debut with 'Kaho Na Pyaar Hai' in 2000, which did really well at the box office. But what many of you may not know, is that this movie wasn't the actor's first acting stint at all. Before his official launch in the Hindi film industry, Hrithik had already made special appearances in a couple of films in the 1980s as a child artist. Amongst those initial movies, one of his notable roles was in 'Aap Ke Deewane', although it was 'Aasha' starring Rishi Kapoor and Reena Roy where Hrithik first appeared as a child artist. 24. Salman Khan has worn the same kind of clothes throughout 2018. A black/grey fitted tee, a pair of bootcut jeans (which we doubt whether anyone else still wears), and a pair of black/brown boots. The interesting thing is, despite sounding like a rather odd assortment of pieces, he managed to convert it into a legit aesthetic, and dutifully stuck to it.
