  1. Indiaâs Vande Bharat Mission is being touted as one of the biggest rescue missions in the worldâs recent history. As problematic and unfortunate as the situation may be - remember that the pilots who are flying the stranded passengers home, have not been paid properly for months - it still is a moment that leaves Indians like us feeling proud. © PTI With that being said, the passenger themselves are certainly not having it easy. There is no doubt that the pandemic has wreaked havoc in the lives of billions of people. One would imagine that now that the stranded passengers are finally home, things would be a little easy for them. Well, that is not the case. © AFP In a video that was taken at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, an officer from the CISF was seen addressing the repatriated people and informing them of the rules and regulations that they had to abide by. The passengers being addressed were the 230 odd people who were brought home from Singapore. Have a look. View this post on InstagramAuthorities informing protocols to repatriation passengers at the Delhi Airport. #DforDelhi #delhi #india #coronavirus #covid19 #pandemic #delhi #gurgaon #coronawarriors #lockdown #airport #airportsecurity #travel #traveling #travelgram #igi #Wanderlust #explore #exploreindia #instago #quarantined #coronavirüs #Corona #gocorona #lockdown #SelfQuarantine #workfromhome #stayhome #staysafe #delhimetro #indiafightscoronaA post shared by (@dfordelhi)People from Delhi and its neighbouring areas who landed at the New Delhi Airport will have to stay in quarantine for 15 days, at a hotel which they will have to choose from a preapproved list presented to them by the health and security personnel. This, for obvious reasons, is for passengers who are showing no symptoms of the virus at all. People with even a fraction of the symptoms for the novel coronavirus would be put straight into a quarantine centre. © AFP In the video, the CISF officer informs the passengers that they have to foot the bill for their stay at the hotel of their choice, which includes properties like Taj Palace Hotel, Shangri-Laâs Eros Hotel and Le Meridien, according to Economic Times. Apart from them, about 1,200 rooms are available in hotels across Karol Bagh. © Reuters They also reported that Le Meridien is charging Rs 4000 plus taxes on single occupancy rooms, and Rs 4800 plus taxes for double occupancy rooms. The charges include all meals. The main reason why this is being done is to keep a track fo the passengers and to keep a check on their health, as it would be nearly impossible for doctors to visit the repatriated passengers if they were allowed to leave for their homes. © Reuters As for the people from other states, they too will be put in a similar quarantine of sorts, once they are collected by the representatives of their state. © PTI As practical, and well-meaning as all this is, it is a scary situation for a lot of the people involved, be it the passengers themselves, the hotel staff, the pilots and the flight crew involved in these operations. No to mention the CISF personnel & healthcare professionals as well. Truly, this entire situation is becoming more like a scene straight out of World War Z with each passing day. 2. It's a fact that no superhero can ever be made without CGI and special effects, quite understandably. But, sometimes you learn that a few scenes, that actually look like it took a lot of editing and effects to happen, were achieved by the actors on their own. Even though it's not Thursday, we still have a throwback and it's about the OG Spider-Man, Tobey Maguire. Remember this little scene? He manages to hold Kristen Dunst with one hand while also catching everything in her lunch tray after its contents go flying in the air. Looks almost impossible to do for real, right? Well, it actually almost was, as Tobey did manage to do this on his own, just took a lot of tries, but that's okay. It's surprising that it's not CGI like almost the rest of the movie, but Tobey did do this 'stunt' on his own and it only took him 156 tries. Honestly, not that bad. Talking about the scene, special effects artist John Dykstra said, "This gag when he catches all this stuff, he actually did that⦠take 156!" Even Kristen Dunst revealed what the trick actually was - "No CGI, thatâs all Tobey, they put sticky glue stuff to stick his hand to the tray." Yes, this is old news, but there still might be people who didn't know this, so why not share such an interesting movie fact? View the full article
  3. CAPE TOWN: Ben Stokes returns to the scene of one of his most spectacular performances but the circumstances are different going into the second Test between England and South Africa at Newlands on Friday. Four years ago, Stokes thrashed 258 off 198 balls in a brutal display of power-hitting, collecting 11 sixes and sharing in a world Test record sixth wicket partnership of 399 with Jonny Bairstow, whose 150 not out from 191 balls was scarcely pedestrian. England went into that match 1-0 up in a four-Test series which they went on to win. This time they are the team needing to catch up after losing the opening encounter in Centurion. South Africa were captained by Hashim Amla, who effectively acknowledged his lack of aptitude for the job by resigning from it after the match despite making a double century of his own to ensure a high-scoring draw. On this occasion it is England's captain, Joe Root, who is under pressure because of his team's poor recent record away from home. Stokes, then, was on his way to becoming England's talisman, a status which he cemented during 2019, which ended with him being awarded an OBE in Britain's New Year honours list. Bairstow, though, has gone backwards. He seems unlikely to play at Newlands this time after failing with one and nine at Centurion, where he only played because of Ollie Pope's illness. Bonanza for battersNewlands in 2016 provided an unusually benign pitch for batters, with both teams scoring over 600 in a first innings which only ended late on the fourth day. It is the only one of the most recent 11 Test matches at Newlands, going back to 2011, to have ended in a draw. South Africa have won nine of the other ten, losing once. Totals over 400 have been rare, with only four instances other than the 2016 run feast. There is a new groundsman but it seems reasonable to expect a fair contest between bat and ball this time around. After winning the first Test in Centurion by 107 runs, South Africa are likely to make one forced change with opening batter Pieter Malan expected to win his first cap in place of the injured Aiden Markram. England opted to go into the first Test without a spinner but Newlands is a ground where spin bowlers are usually needed. It is a dilemma for England, with Jack Leach having been ill virtually since the team's arrival. Although he is now reportedly recovering and out of quarantine he is unlikely to be considered match fit. Leg-spinner Matt Parkinson was unimpressive in two warm-up matches and off-spinner Dom Bess, flown out on standby because of the illness in the camp, could be selected, possibly ahead of veteran fast bowler James Anderson. England's most potent fast bowler, Jofra Archer, did not bowl during net practice at Newlands on Wednesday because of a sore right elbow although he was able to bat and take part in fielding drills, according to a team spokesperson. 4. Deleted 'Avengers: Endgame' scene solidifies theory about ThanosMarvel fans after being taken on an emotional roller-coaster ride with Avengers: Endgame have another major revelation waiting for them as a a deleted scene seems to be proving an existing theory about Thanos. As the final instalment of the Avengers series rolled out on Disney+, it came along with a deleted scene that solidifies a theory circulating about the super villain, played by Josh Brolin. The clip shows Hulk aka Bruce Banner’s conversation with the Ancient One with Tilda Swinton’s character telling Mark Ruffalo’s that removing one Infinity Stone gives birth to an alternate timeline – which we already saw – but she goes on to tell him that she has used the Time Stone to witness the future that goes even beyond her own death. This is followed by her revealing that Thanos’s lethal snap that was aimed to wipe off half of all living creatures actually ended up not killing even a single person but willed them out of existence which elevates the possibility of their resurrection. This also explains why Black Widow aka Natasha Romanoff, essayed by Scarlett Johansson could not be brought to life as it wasn’t Thanos’s snap that killed her.
  5. Acting is no child's play and while most people assume that looking good and dancing around trees is all that an actor requires to do mostly, it is far from being true. From losing and gaining weight for a certain role, to performing their own stunts for certain movie scenes, some of the best actors work very hard to maintain the authenticity of a particular scene or a movie and here are five such actors who risked their lives to do the same. 1. Amitabh Bachchan The accident on the sets of his movie Coolie almost turned fatal, but thanks to the good fortune of this mega star and the millions of prayers showered on him by his loyal fans across the nation, he breathed a new lease of life. He was shooting for a sequence with Puneet Issar at Bangalore when an action scene was misjudged by the actor as he jumped and fell at the wrong point. He had to undergo multiple surgeries and was on bed for months before he became normal. 2. Aamir Khan In Ghulam, his character was required to run towards an incoming train at full speed. A crazy sequence was performed by the perfectionist himself who refused to have a body double for the shot. He later revealed that in the editing room when he saw the clip, he realised he was extremely close to the running train and was a close save from anything bad happening. 3. Hrithik Roshan The Greek God has done some kickass action in most of his movies but one such incident which left everyone gaping for breath was when he was shooting for one of the movies in the Krissh franchise when he was tied to a harness and was supposed to jump. Strangely, it came off and Hrithik came flying down, but luckily Hrithik was saved from the fall. After a few surgeries and post his recovery, the actor recently also shot a very dangerous stunt with co-star Tiger Shroff in Finland for War. 4. Ajay Devgn He is one actor who defies age by staying insanely fit and performing his own stunts ever since he stepped in Bollywood. He is the son of one of the biggest action directors of Bollywood, so this always came naturally to him. From balancing himself on two bikes for a Rohit Shetty action comedy to shooting in the Balkan mountains for Shivaay, Ajay has risked his life for ensuring that a scene remains authentic. 5. Akshay Kumar He's knows as Khiladi Kumar for a reason. The insanely fit actor is basically perfectionism packed in an energy ball. Akshay has always maintained the fact that he believes in performing his own stunts, no matter how risky they are. Being over 50 has not stopped this fit actor from continuing this tradition as well. He was last seen hanging from a helicopter for an action sequence in Sooryavanshi as the director Rohit Shetty was seen riding on a bike giving out instructions. View the full article
  6. It's been months since Avengers: Endgame came out and people took their time to deal with Tony Stark's death. Everything was going okay, but no, Marvel had to come back and break everyone's hearts once again. Remember the widely talked about deleted scene with Tony Stark and his grown-up daughter Morgan? It takes place right after he snapped his fingers and saved everyone in the universe while sacrificing himself. The setting is just like when Thanos talked to a younger version of Gamora right after he snapped in Avengers: Infinity War. Well, we knew that scene would be extremely emotional, but oh no, we didn't know what was coming our way. The scene is out, it was released on the Disney Plus streaming service, and trust me, you are not ready for all the feels. Here you go, might induce some tears. IM SOBBING pic.twitter.com/AQzuFgBq8m — ⨠(@natstarks) November 12, 2019 I feel like it was a good idea to not put this in the final cut of the movie, otherwise, the entire theatre would just be sitting there crying. It's a very meaningful scene, and Tony can finally rest now knowing his daughter gets to grow up. Moreover, it feels even more emotional if you take into consideration Tony's relationship with his father. He can be at peace knowing his daughter loves him and is proud of him, something he never heard from his own father. Also, that 'I love you 3000' at the end was just there to make sure literally everyone cries, right Marvel? Well, you got what you wanted. Talking about this scene in the video commentary, Joe Russo said, "We felt it ground the movie to a halt and we felt he did something similar in the next sequence when he gives his own eulogy. What can happen in a film this big is you can have ending after ending after ending and it starts to feel like the movie's never going to end. When you have too many [ending] sequences in a row, you can dilute the value of each one of them." That's actually true, too many endings would have ruined the movie and the perfect goodbye and send off for Tony. On the bright side, we can all cry together at this particular scene now. “I love you 3000” I did not expect to be crying like a baby after watching the morgan and tony deleted scene but i AMpic.twitter.com/L17oPoQwlu — bi-derman (@IR0NSPIDEY) November 12, 2019 Yeah, she's not...good. okay but i don't like her at all as morgan and a part of me is glad they cut this scene ð — sara (@carolsalouette) November 12, 2019 "Welcome to your tape." I mean yeah this is awkward to watch, but it's barely even finalized. 7. For any actor, especially from a moderate family background, to reveal that he or she would be part of a nude scene in the debut movie to his or her parents won't be an easy task. After struggling for years, Rajkummar Rao faced the camera for the first time in Dibakar Banerjee's 2010 film, Love *** Aur Dhokha and he was given a brief (pun intended) that he would have a nude shot in the movie. After he got to know about it, he had to confront his parents and tell them the truth. “I met Dibaker Banerjee and he then told me, 'you know, there is a scene where you have to be fully naked in the scene'. It took me seconds to just understand, and then I said, 'yeah it's fine, it's my job'. I said, anything for my part. But I knew that I would now have to tell my parents and my family!" recalled Rajkummar in an interview with Neha Dhupia. For anyone, this would have been a nightmare but Rajkummar had an idea that his parents are cool and would understand. On this, he added, “They (the actor's parents) were cool. I just told them, I didn't even ask. I just told them, 'there is this film I got', and they were very happy. And then, 'you know, in the last scene I might be naked'. They were like, 'What!' I said mujhe nanga hona padega shayad! I told them, '(I'll be required to expose) only back, only back... no frontal nudity'. They were okay with it, never discussed this point.” Post this, Rajkummar also shot nude scenes for Shahid and Omerta. All those who have worked with the 35-year-old actor or those who know him in person would for sure know that the actor gives his 100 percent to the character he has been roped in for and never fails to impress the viewers with his brilliant acting skills. Rajkummar was last seen in Made In China wherein he played the role of a Gujarati businessman, Raghu, who embarks on a journey to China in order to make his business flourish. 8. It's obvious that every movie has so many scenes that never make it the final cut, and a lot of those scenes might be so incredible that but had to go anyway. But, for a lot of movies, we do end up getting to see some of the best deleted scenes in an extended cut. Recently, even Avengers: Endgame was re-released with some deleted scenes. Now, another comic book movie has taken over, but sadly we will never get to see an extended cut of it. Yep, Todd Phillips has made it clear that all the scenes he cut from Joker are never going to see the light of the day. He said, "I hate fucking extended cuts. I hate deleted scenes… They're deleted for a reason." While no one would mind seeing some more scenes from Joker, what he's saying actually makes sense. It would've been in the movie in the first place if he wanted it to be in it. He added, "The movie that exists is exactly the movie I want it to be and I will never show a deleted scene." Joaquin Phoenix also said that there weren't just deleted scenes, there were 'deleted acts', and then went on to talk about the 'best scene' that never made it. He said, "There was a scene that, that during the shoot we thought was one of the best scenes and we loved his behaviour in the scene, and I'd always really liked the scene. And Todd told me and said, 'We're cutting that scene out.' And at first I thought, like, 'Wait a minute, what do you mean you cut that scene out?' And then, of course, I saw it, and it was very obvious. It has to go." While he loved the scene, he also understood why it was cut. He added, "That's just what's so cool about movies, right? You can have a great scene, it's something that makes sense, but the movie is the collection of all of these scenes and they have to work together to tell the story, and it actually made that whole sequence so smooth." Coming to the scene that no one has seen, it showed Arthur talking to Randall, the guy who gave him the gun in the first place and then snitched on him, for a second time in the stairwell. Then, that deleted scene gets a callback when Arthur writes on the sign leading down the stairwell while leaving. I'm sure it was as great a scene as they're making it up to be, but they're right, the callback scene does make sense without the cut scene as well. But, that doesn't stop Todd Phillips from being "heartbroken” about losing the scene. In fact, he said it “might've been the last scene I cut out." He also went on to joke, "Maybe I'll release that one.” But, nope, he followed it up with, “I'm teasing.” So, I'm pretty sure we're never going to get to see it. But, Joaquin Phoenix loves it so much, maybe someone can convince him to leak it.
  9. Avengers... assemble, once again? Even though Anthony Russo said that he isn't focussing on beating 'Avatar' to become the highest grossing movie ever just yesterday, looks like he didn't get his story with Kevin Feige straight. The Marvel boss made a pretty big announcement about 'Avengers: Endgame'. The much-anticipated movie came out on April 26th and earned over $2.4 billion but that's not enough. The movie is getting re-released next week with a post-credit scene and some deleted scenes, according to Kevin Feige. Talking to Screen Rant, he said, “Not an extended cut, but there will be a version going into theatres with a bit of a marketing push with a few new things at the end of the movie. If you stay and watch the movie, after the credits, there'll be a deleted scene, a little tribute, and a few surprises. Which will be next weekend.” Is the tribute for Tony Stark? Could be. Probably. While it's still not clear if it's getting released in India again, but it will be great if it does. We can watch it again just before the release of 'Spiderman: Far From Home' and then mourn Tony along with Peter Parker all over again. Also, James Cameron should start working on his post when 'Endgame' finally beats 'Avatar' since this re-release will probably give the Marvel movie the push it needs to race to the finish line.
  10. Anything and everything that can be said about 'Game of Thrones' Season eight has been said. Yes, it sucked but everyone has to agree that the scene with Arya Stark killing the Night King was so badass and iconic. It was one of the best scenes of the show, actually even the entire season. Now, we know that great things always act as a source of inspiration but this time, it may have gone too far. Turns out that an Indian show - 'Aladdin - Naam Toh Suna Hoga' - has the same exact scene, literally down to every single detail. This scene looks familiar doesn't it? But the scene from the Indian series Aladdin was aired last year. https://t.co/NgsVEwjRde#GameOfThrones copied this. That's how lazy it was pic.twitter.com/wtvdaumOwH — Radhakrishna Sharma (@MatKarma) June 15, 2019 Imitation may not be the best form of flattery after all. While this narrative - Indian show blatantly copying the biggest show in the entire world - might be expected, turns out that there's a possibility of the exact opposite thing being true. Basically, there's a chance that 'GoT' copied 'Aladdin'. Yep, these are some strange times. Some people are saying the episode aired last year, and some are saying that it aired after the GoT episode, the rest are just laughing at the hilariously weird - and low quality - recreation of the 'GoT' scene. India did it before it was cool. from r/india The Reddit user that brought the scene to light captioned it saying, 'India did it before it was cool', but did India do it first? And even if it did, I'm pretty sure the makers of 'GoT' are not looking for inspiration from an Indian TV show that even we didn't know about until now. Oh, we're also not done with the whole copycat game. Here's a scene from the movie 'Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter'. The movie came out in 2012, just btw. The title tho. Gareebo ka Arya Stark, Copied Scene from Game of Thrones... https://t.co/xtjnSefY4g — Gaurav Mukherjee (@garvsays) June 17, 2019 The best part is instead of arguing about who copied whom, people on Reddit have just come together to find the logic behind how someone can kill a skeleton by stabbing it. What overthinking looks like.
  11. We would expect maybe Joe Jonas to be Sophie Turner's weak spot, but no, she loves something much more than him and can't ever stay away from it. The most importamt thing in Sophie's life is her tiny little Juul and honestly, we can never see her without one. There's literally articles about Sophie and her Juul, I even read an investigation of what flavour Juul pods she uses, and I mean, she really can't live without it. She apparently even starts crying when she's away from her one true love. View this post on Instagram The pack survived A post shared by Sophie Turner (@sophiet) on May 21, 2019 at 1:34am PDT Sophie may be the queen of the north, but even queens have to work. In case you didn't know, her new movie 'Dark Phoenix' is out and there's an emotional scene where she's crying. While actors can fake cry, turns out Sophie's tears in that scene were real. According to J-Law, Sophie started crying for real in that scene just because they took away her Juul. During an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Jennifer Lawrence said, “I teared up a little bit watching Sophie in that scene. It was so honest and real, and it's because she really was crying because her dialect coach, right before the take, took her Juul away…She started genuinely tearing up. It was like the performance of the year. It was amazing.” Sophie added, “It is. It's how to act. You take it away, and then you give it back, and that's happy and sad.” Wow, that's a neat little trick for anyone working with Sophie Turner in the future. Now, since we're talking about Sophie and Juuls, enjoy. 12. Fans are not at all happy with the latest episode of 'Game of Thrones'. However, apparently the storyline is not all that is wrong with it. In an editing gaffe of sorts, apparently one of the scenes ended up showing Jaime Lannisters hand - intact. Let's see where. © HBO Apparently it was a part of the emotional reunion between Jaime and Cersei, where Jaime is trying to pacify a mortified Cersei by reminding her that 'nothing else matters' except them. Check out the screenshot below. © HBO Is that Jaime's real hand? Or is it the golden hand catching some firelight that is making the gold look realistic? 13. Anthony J. Russo and Joseph Vincent Russo are the people who have been the nerdy yet fantastic brains behind the process of taking the amalgamated Marvel Cinematic Universe to the next level of epic-ness when they were given the responsibility of making one of the most important characters of the MCU likable again with 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier'. So it is safe to say that the two bros know exactly what they were doing during the events of 'Avengers: Endgame'. They even shot multiple endings to continue to keep the cast and crew confused about the real manner in which the film would conclude just to avoid leaks and spoilers. Having said that, they were themselves confused between two endings in particular but finally decided to go ahead with the one that we got to see in the theatres (hopefully). In the official ending, Tony Stark takes away the Infinity Stones from Thanos, puts them in the Infinity Gauntlet of his own and snaps his fingers to decimate the Mad Titan and the rest of his Chitauri army. Overwhelmed with the Stones, Stark suffers irreversible damage while protecting trillions of others spread around the universe and peacefully passes away amidst Peter Potts, Peter Parker and the rest of his closest buddies. However, according to the details disclosed by the Russo brothers recently, the alternate ending would have taking Stark's consciousness to the 'Soul Stone' realm after the snap, just like Thanos did at the end of Infinity War and met a young Gamora. There, Stark would have met his an adult version of his daughter, Morgan Stark, played by '13 Reason Why' star, Katherine Langford who would have forgiven him for taking the lives of Thanos and his army because it was done to protect the rest of the universe. According to the directors, the scene would have complicated the movie for the audience furthermore and they wanted to shoot Iron Man's final scene with faces the audience was already familiar with, in order to make it more emotional and personal instead of Langford, whom people would have seen for the very first time in the MCU. Having said that, the fact that the Russo Bros cared so deeply about the character of a grown up Morgan suggests a very interesting theory about the post credit scene of Endgame. After the credits roll over the screen, we get to hear the sound of someone hammering metal. This is the exact sound bite from the very first Iron Man movie when Stark makes his very first suit, the Mark 1, to get out of the hands of the terrorist group known as Ten Rings. Now, according to the Russo brothers, the idea of putting this sound bite at the end came directly from Kevin Feige, who is probably the only constant member of the MCU who worked from behind-the-scenes in every movie made by Marvel. Maybe, Feige wanted to hint the audience about the possibility of the return of Iron Man during Phase 4 of the MCU, but not with Tony Stark as the person inside the suit, but with his daughter, Morgan Stark. Maybe, this is why the Russo brothers also wanted to introduce Katherine Langford's character into the MCU at the end of Phase 3 so that the people know who to cheer for when she dons a badass suit, swooping past her fellow Avengers on an AC/DC song, just like her father used to.
  14. The article contains spoilers, proceed with caution! Our favourite travelling duo was spotted once again in Season 8, episode 4 of 'Game of Thrones', riding South together and we might know, through their conversation, who may die next. After turning down Gendry's proposal of being the Lady of Storm End, Arya meets The Hound, who is on his way out of Winterfell and she joins him and they continue their journey to King's Landing. Now, there are mainly two reasons why Arya and The Hound may both be heading South. For The Hound, it's been speculated far too long that there will be an eventual battle between him and his elder brother The Mountain aka Ser Gregor Clegane. So much so, their eventual battle has been dubbed 'Cleganebowl' by the fans and it's bound to happen. Otherwise why else have they kept The Hound alive still? © HBO Apart from The Hound's work in Winterfell, Arya also has names to strike off from her list and one of them also seems to be that of The Mountain. Besides, before heading to Winterfell initially, she was actually going to King's Landing to kill the queen, aka Cersei Lannister, so maybe now that her job is done in Winterfell, she's going to take care of her OG plan? All we know, for now, is that both Arya and The Hound together agreed upon never setting foot in Winterfell again, and that could either mean one of them is dying or is actually done with his or her character arc. © HBO After taking The Hound off her list, The Mountain takes the top spot on Arya's list for killing and torturing people at Harrenhal, while Arya was imprisoned there. In fact, he happens to be the three remaining targets that Arya names to the Waif in Season 6, including Walder Frey and Cercei, out of which she's already killed Frey. Which means two of her targets are still alive and both are in King's Landing, so she knows what to do next. Our only assumption is, since Arya and The Mountain share an enemy, it could be a two vs one fight, for all you know. Both of them will get into a fight with The Mountain and in order to protect Arya, The Hound will sacrifice himself, before she successfully kills his brother. © HBO Well, we're making this assumption from a conversation between The Hound and Arya where he asks her if she will leave him to die again if he gets hurt, foreshadowing towards the fact that maybe these two will stick up for each other in a big fight. Apart from that, Arya may kill Cersei since it's been predicted by the Red Woman that she will kill someone with green eyes and Cersei has green eyes. The only thing is, Cersei's fortune teller form her childhood told her that one of her 'little brothers' will kill her. There's a theory for that too, but we're not quite sure how Cersei's death will unfold. © HBO For now, we do know The Hound and Arya are back on the road again, on a long and lonesome highway!
  15. Before you start reading this article, please make sure you have watched season 8 episode 3 of 'Game of Thrones', for this one is full of spoilers, and surprises. Now that it's out of the way, we can get to the point. The Night King is dead. And who killed him? The one and only ninja assassin, slayer of entire houses, stabby little girl (not so little anymore after her 'interaction' with Gendry) Arya freakin' Stark. (c) Hotstar It came as a shock to everyone, but in hindsight, there was one scene that almost tried to tell us, point by point, that this is what is going to happen. The scene we are referring to is the much awaited reunion scene featuring Jon and Arya. Take a look at it here once more, before we delve deeper into discussion. Number 1: Arya sneaks up behind Jon Snow. Jon didn't so much as hear her come, to the point that that's how they start their conversation. He asks her: "How did you sneak up on me?". If that's not proof enough that Arya Stark perhaps is the biggest sneakmaster warrior there ever was, we don't know what is. (c) Hotstar Number 2: Arya doesn't answer the question. Instead, she asks: "How did you survive a knife through the heart?", to which Jon truthfully responds, "I didn't." We now know that Arya probably was just confirming whether it's possible to survive a knife through the heart. This is exactly what she did to the Night King, snuck up on him, and pushed her dagger through. (c) Hotstar Number 3: This is the exact location where she kills the Night King. The very same place. Has she been practicing? She did successfully manage to sneak up on Jon, who is, by the way, one of the best fighters in Westeros. The Night King is perhaps a better fighter, with all his magic, but he clearly couldn't escape Arya's crazy skills that she painstakingly obtained in Braavos while training under the Faceless Man. (c) Hotstar Guess they have been trying to tell us all along. Anyway, take a bow, Arya Stark!
  16. I just have to say one thing before starting this article - if you don't stay for the end credit scenes in a Marvel movie, you're a disgrace to this fandom and you don't deserve to even watch the movies. Every single person knows that a end credit scene in any movie which is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is an important as the movie itself. From giving clues as to what's next to basically have the biggest superheroes in the world just sit and eat after a battle, the end credit scenes are the real MVPs of Marvel movies and not even Marvel can deny that. Everyone's gearing up for the endgame - and possible end - of the OG Avengers in 'Avengers: Endgame' by binge watching all the movies again or just by following all the theories or memes. Marvel itself had a better idea to give the fans a refresher - a compilation of all the end credit scenes. The official Twitter account of Marvel has blessed us with the best Twitter thread right now and the easiest way to watch all of them. Starting off is RDJ as Iron Man, of course and the entry of Nick Fury, setting up the idea of 'Avengers' from the get go. “You've become a part of bigger universe, you just don't know it yet.” pic.twitter.com/eOmLZO5l1d — Marvel Studios (@MarvelStudios) April 22, 2019 Then Tony Stark showed up in 'The Incredible Hulk'. “What if I told you we were putting a team together...” pic.twitter.com/6fvpAvd9kL — Marvel Studios (@MarvelStudios) April 22, 2019 Thor's hammer Mjölnir showing up before Thor himself towards the end of 'Iron Man 2'. “Sir, we found it.” ð¨ pic.twitter.com/Dv4pURzD1z — Marvel Studios (@MarvelStudios) April 22, 2019 Loki being sneaky at the end of 'Thor'. “Well I guess that's worth a look.” pic.twitter.com/iPZOnhBZzA — Marvel Studios (@MarvelStudios) April 22, 2019 'Captain America: The First Avenger' had a rather simple one. “You here with a mission sir?” pic.twitter.com/aynOatBSL6 — Marvel Studios (@MarvelStudios) April 22, 2019 Giant purple grape is here! ð pic.twitter.com/yFTa2AzaQA — Marvel Studios (@MarvelStudios) April 22, 2019 The most iconic end credit scene, hands down. 17. Some might call this week's 'Game Of Thrones' episode a little slow, but if you observed the episode closely, you wouldn't agree at all. This episode was extremely insightful and full of revelations. Seeing human behaviour closely as all characters prepare for seemingly imminent death, was pretty relatable. Not everyone acted the same. Take Arya, for example, the seven seasons have not always been good to her. The training with the faceless man was brutal but so was everything else and she matured beyond her years quickly. And yet at the brink of death, she chose to spend her possible last living hours making love because she wanted to know what it felt like. © HBO Even though some people could relate to this situation, it was still rather surprising to see Arya pursuing Gendry so strongly, considering we've seen her grow up on the show. Turns out, Maisie Williams had the same reaction when she first read the script. © HBO So, apparently, showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss are known to have pranked actors in the past seasons with bogus scripts. "At first, I thought it was a prank," Williams told a leading publication. "I was like, 'Yo, good one.' And [the showrunners were] like, 'No, we haven't done that this year.' Oh f*ck!" But after realizing that is was, in fact, part of the last season, she was given leeway to decide how much she wanted to bare onscreen. "David and Dan were like: 'You can show as much or as little as you want. So I kept myself pretty private. I don't think it's important for Arya to flash. This beat isn't really about that. And everybody else has already done it on the show, so…," she further added. © HBO Joe Dempsey, who plays Gendry, had his own reservations about the show. “At the same time, I don't want to be patronizing toward Maisie—she's a 20-year-old woman. So we just had a lot of fun with it,” he said. Meanwhile, HBO, very sneakily clarified that Arya was, in fact, of age. By age 18 in Westeros you should have: - Had a pet. - Moved out on your own. - Travelled extensively. - Had a kill list. - Pretended to be the opposite *** to evade capture. - Been blind for a while. - Ticked at least three people off of your kill list. — HBO (@HBO_UK) April 21, 2019 So, now it all makes sense.
  18. When the news of Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan doing a movie together was reported, many fans went into a frenzied state of excitement knowing that the power duo will be seen in the sequel for 'Love Aaj Kal'. The actors flew to Delhi a few days ago for the first schedule of their movie. Meanwhile, a leaked video which looks like a kissing scene between Kartik and Sara, has gone viral. It was apparently recorded by someone who was present during the shoot in a pub, while a party scene was being filmed. OMG! 20. It's 'Baahubali' Prabhas' birthday today and I didn't really have to say this, because his fans have already flooded social media with wishes and prayers for the actor. FYI he turned 39 today. While people receive gifts, Prabhas has started a new tradition of giving his fans a special surprise on his birthday. © Arka media works Last year, Prabhas released the first look of his upcoming movie 'Saaho'. This year, he and the makers of the films gifted his fans a series of behind-the-scenes videos from the movie,'Shades of Saaho'. After his record-breaking performance in the magnum opus 'Baahubali: The Beginning' and 'Baahubali: The Conclusion', which skyrocketed his success and fame; Prabhas is set to sweep us all off our feet with 'Saaho', that is touted to be one of the most expensive Indian movies. © UV Creations Reportedly, Prabhas, Shraddha Kapoor and the film's crew were in Abu Dhabi, shooting an 8-minute action sequence worth Rs. 70 crores. Well, if someone spends 70 crores just to blow up cars, bikes and trucks; you can't expect anything but the best from them and this BTS video is proof. Let's just keep Henry Cavill's $25 million moustache out of this picture, there are exceptions. This video gives a glimpse of some kickass, breathtaking and adrenaline-rushing chase scenes taking place in Abu Dhabi, choreographed by Hollywood action director Kenny Bates. It shows the amount of hard work and effort that went into making the chase involving bikes, cars, trucks and helicopters, and it looks so flawless on-screen. Prabhas appears in the last few seconds of the video and steals all the thunder and we are not complaining at all. Shraddha Kapoor is also seen doing some high octane stunts. Directed by Sujeeth, 'Saaho' is expected to release in 2019.
  21. Modern games have come a long way in terms of graphics, it's become so good that at times you can't even make out whether its an actual footage or CGI. Even though the hardware has been consistently improving, nothing brings in the feel of the 90s double-digit bit rate games that we've played. Artist and animator, John Stratman has created a 16-bit version of the big fight scene in 'Infinity War' where the team of Iron Man, Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, and the Guardians of the Galaxy take on Thanos on Titan. The first half consists of the wonderful 16-bit remake, while the second half compares it side-by-side to the actual film so that you can also experience the drastic change. The video, made for the YouTube channel 'Mr Sunday Movies', is 10 minutes long and covers almost everything in the entire fight against Thanos on Titan. Right from the fight choreography to Doctor Strange's trippy powers, Stratman has managed to cover everything with just 16-bits. © YouTube While the video is just amazing to watch and will get you all nostalgic, there's no way to play Stratman's version of Infinity Wars as a real video game right now. Though on the brighter side, Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics are working with Marvel on an actual 'Avengers' game, we haven't seen or heard much about it since the release of the teaser trailer. 25-30 years back, this game would've been every Marvel fan's dream. No, why just Marvel fans? The plot and the cliffhanger nature of the series are more than sufficient to have almost every kind of gamer excited for this. © Marvel Studios The movie, 'Avengers: Infinity War' is now available on digital platforms, DVD, and Blu-ray. The next instalment of the movie is scheduled to come in May 2019. In fact, there have been reports stating that Benedict Cumberbatch is being offered £7.5 million (US$ 9.57 million) to star in the sequel. 'Avengers: Infinity War' has been a huge success for the Marvel Studios. The film has earned more than US$ 2 billion worldwide and is the highest-grossing film of 2018, globally. Domestically in the USA, the film is the second-highest grossing of the year and the fourth-highest grossing film of all time.
  22. 'If you could go back in time, would you kill Hitler when he was a baby?' – an old question that is yet to be answered. Actually, it has sort of been answered because if time travel was possible, someone might have already killed Hitler and literally changed the course of history. But, since time travel and Hitler are such common topics apparently, even Deadpool decided to take his shot at answering it. I'm sure everyone can agree that 'Deadpool 2' was absolutely insane but, turns out, there was so much more that we never even got to see. Exhibit A – a scene where Deadpool kills baby Hitler. (SPOILERS AHEAD) If you've seen the movie, you know that one of the best parts of the entire thing was the end, where Deadpool travels through time killing his old selves, actually he's killing Ryan Reynolds' old roles but they're basically the same person, so it works out. There are so many possibilities with a time travelling device and Deadpool uses it wisely – first, making sure his appearance in the movie 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine' is completely erased from the world and second, literally killing himself before he can do that godawful 'Green Lantern' movie. But, one thing that did not make the cut was Deadpool travelling back in time to kill baby Hitler, who grew up to be one of the most evil and tyrannical dictators the world has ever seen. According to Esquire, the reason this scene was deleted from the final version was that: “They didn't include the scene in the theatrical post-credits, because they wanted to leave the audience with a different message. 'As much as I love this joke, we end on a really high note and that's the way it should end,' Leitch told me.” Actually, it might have been a little ironic since the movie is about Deadpool saving a kid from turning evil in the future. Here's the scene, watch it before it's deleted by Fox again. (Just a heads up, if the video is taken down because of copyright issues, you can find it on Twitter or YouTube if you look hard enough. Also, if you really want to watch the scene, watch the reaction videos on it.) Turns out, they also filmed an alternate ending for this particular scene as well. Esquire reports a scene was shot in which Deadpool decides not to kill baby Hitler. He can't go through with it and ends up changing the child instead, saying, “You smell like Hitler's anus.” Now, that sounds more like Deadpool, tbh.
  23. So much has been said about Henry Cavill's facial hair by now. At one point, everyone was just talking about his moustache, but that's understandable because that moustache cost Warner Bros about $25 million dollars, kinda. Yep, how can anyone forget the insane amount spent on removing our very own Superman's 'KingStache' in 'Justice League' just because he was shooting for 'Mission Impossible: Fallout'? Cavill had to go back and reshoot some scenes for the DC movie and couldn't just shave off the famous stache, giving birth to a string of epic memes. JUSTICE LEAGUE EXEC: We can just CGI Henry Cavill's mustache out it will be fine and not look weird at all HENRY CAVILL: pic.twitter.com/Ag41j6LbPn — Dana Schwartz (@DanaSchwartzzz) November 17, 2017 Everything that can be said and done about the hilarious CGI has been said and done, I mean, it was such a seemingly ridiculous thing, it would've been an 'impossible mission' to escape the ridicule it got. And now, the much awaited 'Mission Impossible: Fallout' is here and has been receiving an incredible response. But, let's forget about Tom Cruise and focus on Henry in the movie. There was one particular scene that has mesmerized a lot of people. I'm talking about the part where he seems to actually reload his arm – his freaking arm – right in the middle of a fight. While this is really cool, there's still something weird going on; it's almost like a blink-and-miss moment, but thankfully we have a gif with infinite loops. There are two things happening – actually, there are things that are apparently growing (no, not that, get your head out of the gutter!) First, his beard seems to magically grow in just a second. Wow man, what's your secret? I'm sure a lot of guys would be interested to know this method. © Paramount Pictures And as for the second, his beard isn't the only thing that's growing; his shirt pocket also 'grows' out of nowhere. © Paramount Pictures Me right now – (I don't know what everyone will do with this information, but it's still important, okay?) When will this poor guy escape CGI? Especially when it's targeted at his facial hair almost every time. But well, we can also take into consideration that he is THE Superman and he can do anything. (Is that why he's in 'Mission Impossible' to make it possible?) Well, we have an explanation from the man himself. While talking to Fox 32 News, Henry revealed he had seen the gif and offered a simple explanation – “It's because I punch so hard when reloading my fists, that I actually grew a beard in that moment. I made facial hair history.” I had the chance to ask Henry Cavill about that “arm pump / beard growth” gif that's circling the internet. This is the reason I went to college for journalism.
