5 Teenagers Who Can Take IPL 2022 By Storm & Take A Step Towards Greatness
ADMIN posted a blog entry in FDF Online News
In less than two weeks from now, we all will be glued to our television screens as the world’s biggest T20 spectacle takes centre-stage. The Indian Premier League (IPL 2022) is known for delivering quality cricket year after year and the upcoming season isn’t going to be any different. © IPL This excitement is not only around some of the biggest names of world cricket but also the promising youngsters who take the tournament by storm through their fearless performances every season. Like every year, the 15th edition of the tournament will also see talented teenagers from across the globe sharing the dressing room with the well-established legends of the game and looking to make a mark for themselves. © Twitter BCCI For these teenagers it would be the biggest opportunity of their professional careers and they wouldn’t want to let it slip away. Here we look at five talented teenagers who could take the IPL 2022 by storm: Yash Dhull (Age: 19) View this post on Instagram Yash Dhull, who guided India to 2022 U-19 World Cup, was bought by Delhi Capitals for Bought Rs 50 lakh. The right-handed batter was in terrific form in the first phase of Ranji Trophy. He scored a twin century on his first-class debut and then followed it up with a double hundred in his third match. Given his piping hot form, he is definitely one to look out for. Dewald Brevis (Age: 18) View this post on Instagram The South African teenager is the youngest but the most expensive player on this list. Also known as ‘Baby AB’ due to his striking similarity with the RCB great AB de Villiers, Brevis was picked by Rohit Sharma’s Mumbai Indians for Rs 3 crore. He came to the limelight through his heroics at the 2022 U19 World Cup which earned him the Player of the Tournament award. Despite his young age, he is expected to feature in Mumbai’s playing XI from the opening match itself. Do watch out for him. Raj Angad Bawa (Age: 19) View this post on Instagram The fast-bowling all-rounders in India are a rare commodity and that’s why Punjab Kings had to part with a whopping Rs 2 crore to acquire Raj Bawa. He impressed with both bat and ball in the U-19 World Cup final and took home the player of the match trophy. He might have to wait a little longer for his turn but if given a chance he would look to make an impact. Rajvardhan Hangargekar (Age: 19) View this post on Instagram The hard-hitting seam-bowling all-rounder has already begun his training under the watchful eyes of former India skipper MS Dhoni. With senior fast bowler Deepak Chahar expected to miss at least the first half of the season, the CSK management might be tempted to include Hangargekar in the playing XI. Apart from bowling inside the Powerplay, he can also use the long handle, if need be, which makes him a like-for-like replacement.. Vicky Ostwal (Age: 19) View this post on Instagram The left-arm bowling all-rounder was picked by Delhi Capitals for his base price of Rs 20 lakh. He was the leading wicket-taker for India at the 2022 Under-19 World Cup. He might not be a guaranteed starter for the Rishabh Pant-led side but he could come in handy in the second half once the pitches start to dry up. View the full article -

I have a tough job. Or so I thought up until a few moments ago when I realized that sitting in the comfort of your house and reporting on events across the world isn’t half as challenging or difficult as opposed to actually being part of those incidents that people like me write about. View this post on Instagram For context, I must add that this is coming from a certain incident that took place in the UK where a pilot had to land an airplane in the middle of a storm that is currently wreaking havoc in the country. Captain Khalifa Al-Thani was travelling from Doha, Qatar, to London, England when he was caught in the middle of the chaos that storm Eunice was spreading in the UK. Landing Boeing 777 during Storm Eunice wasn’t going to be an easy feat, but even the odds didn’t deter captain Khalifa Al-Thani who maintained his calm until he had landed the aircraft and everyone in it safely to the ground. Amazing - here’s my friend Captain Khalifa Al Thani landing his Boeing 777 in #StormEunice at a windy London Heathrow Airport today…a side-by-side video with BigJet TV’s now famous commentary pic.twitter.com/lVGJzsBo8m — Alex Macheras (@AlexInAir) February 18, 2022 Several videos were being shared of the chaos in the air where airplanes were struggling to land, and Big Jet TV managed to release one such video that has now gone viral owing to the overwhelming landing of the Boeing 777. In fact, Al-Thani went ahead to post footage of himself during the landing, where he could be seen proceeding with both- calm and caution. Sharing the video on Instagram, Al-Thani wrote, “Storm Eunice Landing - Huge thanks to ‘Big Jet TV’ for the awesome coverage today and the exterior footage.” And what came next were lauding comments from people who called the pilot one with ‘nerves of steel’. One handed . Respect to all those pilots today, they were amazing — Debbie Try (@debbie_try) February 18, 2022He’s a strong man. So cool to watch. Must have nerves of steel. — Mary Harris (@maryharristw) February 18, 2022Having grown up with a Dad and two brothers as pilots and being endlessly tired of their flying chat... now have a new found appreciation! https://t.co/COBHHPcWFH — Amy Voce (@amyvoce) February 19, 2022One user wrote, “Scary to watch but excellent handling,” while another one went ahead and commented, “Star quality landing in this storm which is the worst we have had for quite a while. Nerves of steel you have.” I’ve never seen that before and it’s absolutely amazing. I never imagined all the movement, I expected the steering to be really steady and actually it’s all over the place — Becca M - ADHD (@SparklyB) February 19, 2022Few things more satisfying than to watch a skilled craftsman at work! https://t.co/ZRDj5kjDdk — Neil Garratt AM (@NeilGarratt) February 19, 2022The video was also shared by an aviation analyst who wrote, “Amazing - here’s my friend Captain Khalifa Al Thani landing his Boeing 777 in #StormEunice at a windy London Heathrow Airport today… a side-by-side video with BigJet TV’s now famous commentary.” View the full article
