  1. In an unexpected news last week, Sony's lead architect Mark Cerny dropped a bunch of new details about Sony's upcoming console, the PlayStation 5. From the looks for it, it appears as though the PS5 will be the most powerful gaming console ever built. But that's only until you hear what Microsoft is said to be cooking for us. If the rumours are to be believed, it looks like Microsoft is readying a beast of a console dubbed 'Xbox Anaconda'. We're not entirely sure about the innards of this next-gen Xbox console, but it certainly looks like it'll dwarf PS5's AMD Ryzen CPU, RAM, and SSD. © Unsplash Ainsley Bowden, founder and head editor of Seasoned Gaming, tweeted out saying that Microsoft's Anaconda will be more advanced than its rival. It was apparently confirmed by 'multiple insiders'. Exactly how Anaconda will outperform PS5 is still something that remains to be seen, but we're very excited to how it's all going to go down. If we're to guess though, we think the next-gen Xbox console would have a faster CPU, a more powerful GPU, extra RAM, and more. There are a lot of unanswered Yes, very exciting indeed. We just hope they'll avoid some of the mistakes they made with the last console. © Microsoft Will it manage to outperform PS5 and become more successful? Honestly, there's no guarantee of success. Think about it, the Xbox One is currently the most powerful console on the market, yet the PS4 has outsold it by a significant margin. Nonetheless, it's an exciting time for all the console gamers, and we just can't to wait to see what's in store for us.
  2. Last evening's Indian Premier League match between Mahendra Singh Dhoni's Chennai Super Kings and Virat Kohli's Royal Challengers Bangalore produced some really incredible moments of the 2019 season of the league. The thrilling last-minute drama with the brilliant direct hit by the RCB wicket-keeper Parthiv Patel allowed his side to win the third game of the season in a nail-biter. However, the innings played by the former Indian skipper has to be the talk of the town. While scoring his career best in the IPL (83 not out), Dhoni looked and played like his old self when he was challenging the age-old techniques of some of the greatest batsmen of the game with his unorthodox style and brute power. Mahi came to play and was focused from the first delivery, scoring a boundary at the deep point. We also got to see the finesse and creativity of the batter that he gathered and evolved through the years and years of playing international cricket as he smoothly directed a wide ball towards the deep fine leg. This career best performance consisted of five fours and a barrage of sixes, one of which was the longest any cricketer had hit this season at 111 metres, with the ball going out of the M. Chinnaswamy stadium onto the busy roads of Bangalore. What looked like an out-of-hand game for the 'Whistle Podu' franchise, came to the final delivery thanks to the superhuman game played by Dhoni. However, with a dot ball and a failed single, his efforts did not lead to a win. Nonetheless, Dhoni's efforts were recognised by the world: Dhoni for PM. 3. Death penalty -- that is what a government-sanctioned killing of a person is known as. And the grievous process of taking a person's life is known as execution. This isn't a topic most of us would want to read about on any given day. We're sure you have much better things to do than dwell on this, much like the rest of us. © Getty Images Yet, here we are writing about it, and if you're still here, hang on for a little longer because things are about to get interesting now. Recently, we came across a report on world's top executioners and the data literally forced us to pen this piece. For the longest time Saudi Arabia has been the most infamous for its executions that doesn't spare any human life guilty in the eyes of the law in the state. Turns out we were mistaken big time. Not only does Saudi Arabia doesn't conduct most number of executions, but it also doesn't stand at number 2 one the list. © Getty Images According to an Amnesty International report, revealed that China is after all the world's top executioner by far! Over thousands of people were put to death last year in the country even when the accurate figures are still not known and remain a state secret. Saudi Arabia on the other hand holds the third spot on the list after Iran, which is second in line with its number of execution lying at over 253 executions in 2018. Saudi Arabia on the other hand conducted 149 executions last year. © Statista Who would have thought one of Asia's fastest growing economies is also a leading country in carrying out the most number of executions! FYI, executions in China are mostly enforced for murder and drug trafficking, and are carried out by lethal injection or gun shot. *Jitters*
  4. After making us wait for almost two years, the final season of 'Game Of Thrones', one of the greatest shows ever made, is going to drop in a few hours. Finally that time is here when people will exit all their Whatsapp groups, delete their social media apps and stop answering phone calls, JUST to avoid getting any spoilers. This is the time when your real fandom will be tested. HBO While everyone is busy asking, "Who will sit on the throne?" if there was one for the greatest fan, we know who would sit on it. This guy who recreated the dragon egg from scratch and made it look better than the one used in the show. YouTube This might be a 5-minute long video, but the hard work that went behind making this is over 40 hours. This dragon egg was made by Rextorn Metalwork, a design shop in Poland. YouTube This guy, whom I will now call the biggest fan of GOT, used various techniques like repousse and metal spinning, to turn a copper sheet into a gorgeous and flawless dragon egg. There is honestly no dearth of talent in the world and almost every other day, someone somewhere is proving it right.
  5. What's the most comfortable pair of underwear you own? Is it cotton or some other fibre? Or are you in search for the perfect underwear? Because let's face it, comfy underwear can change your life completely. It can help say a sweet goodbye to the jock itch as well. But if it were up to you to design your perfect underwear, how would you design it? What material would you use? The brand Nice Laundry has come up with innovative material for briefs. Think luxurious fibres like cashmere. However, cashmere is not a fabric that comes cheap. The better the quality of the cashmere, the higher the price bracket. Nice Laundry's briefs are made of 100 per cent cashmere and also feature 24-karat gold thread embroidered flying pig and a horn button closure. It's the kind of luxury that you get to pamper your junk with. © Nice Laundry This brand's briefs in questions are priced at $1,000 USD which roughly translate to 69,000 Rupees. That is roughly the same amount you would spend on an iPhone. With a heavy price tag like that, the laundry instructions too come with a 'dry clean only' tag because clearly, this pair of briefs does require a lot of care. © Nice Laundry While some may call it a frivolous purchase, if you think that it's been a while that you've pampered yourself, this is one of the many options.
  6. An official statement released by Epic, the video game company responsible for revolutionising the Battle Royale format of digital gaming and taking the esports world by storm, announced important details about the World Cup tournament for their iconic multi-million dollar project, 'Fortnite' set to take place between 26th and 28th July. View this post on Instagram Claim your seat at the Fortnite World Cup! Tickets are available for pre-registration. Link in bio. A post shared by Fortnite (@fortnite) on Apr 8, 2019 at 7:19am PDT Nothing unusual right? Video game tournaments happen all the time. After all, there are games like 'Counter-Strike' and the 'Call of Duty' series that has produced numerous teams from all over the world to put in hard work to perfect their hand at a particular game and compete for considerable sums of prize money. But when compared to outdoor sports that have enjoyed decades worth of heritage and millions of fans, one would take their time accepting the fact that 2019 'Fortnite' World Cup is going to consist of a prize money a lot more than Wimbledon. That's right. According to Wimbledon's official website, when Serbian tennis legend Novak Djokovic won the most prestigious Grand Slam last year, he won a total of $ 2,980,000. According to Epic's statement, the 2019 'Fortnite' World Cup will be offering an outrageous $30 million prize pool for solo and duo players in New York City. The winners will be collecting $3 million each, while every participant will be taking home a minimum of $50,000 for qualifying for the tournament. Other major sporting events with prize money smaller than 'Fortnite' World Cup include Indy 500 ($2,530,000), The Masters ($1,980,000), World Darts Championship ($640,000), Tour de France ($580,000), World Snooker Championship ($560,000) and Ironman World Championship ($120,000).
  7. Microsoft, in case you don't know, is working on developing the highly anticipated 'Halo Infinite' title. The game won't be out until the end of 2019, but we've learnt something very exciting about the development. According to reports, the budget set by Microsoft and 343 Industries for 'Halo Infinite', is reportedly more than a whopping $500 million. Yup, it looks like Microsoft handed over a blank cheque to 343 Industries for the title, making it the most expensive video game project ever. © 343industries The report comes from a German outlet called Xbox Dynasty , which says that Halo Infinite's development costs currently dwarfs even the likes of 'Red Dead Redemption 2' and 'Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2', which are known to be some expensive titles. With that budget, Halo Infinite will cost more than even Marvel's upcoming 'Avengers: Endgame' movie, with an estimated budget between $300 - $400 million. Even the Infinity War was estimated to have a similar budget. It is, however, worth pointing out that this is just a rumour and Xbox Dynasty didn't provide proof to back up its claim. So, it's best if you take the report with a pinch of salt. That being said, Microsoft investing significantly into the development of Halo Infinite makes sense. Microsoft is betting big on this title for the future of gaming and its consoles. So, it's not really a surprise that they're going all in to exceed all expectations.
  8. Karan Johar is as larger than life in terms of his outfits IRL as his movies, and that honestly is amazing. Everything he wears, right from his footwear to his accessories, are camera-worthy, and the fashion police thrives on them. He said it out loud that he legit prepares for his 'airport looks', and that shows. The latest thing he stepped out with that we're interested in? 9. Yes, the crossover joke is back and no, I'm not taking any criticism for it right now. But, in my defense, 'a bigger crossover than Infinity War' was perfect for this particular story. Basically, someone was watching the first episode of the first season of 'Game Of Thrones', which is normal, everyone is catching up or rewatching with the new season right around the corner. What's not normal is an extra in a scene looking like he's from the future. Apparently, the guy was wearing a Patagonia jacket, blue jeans, and boots, which doesn't really goes with the GOT vibe. 10. Earlier this week, the Powerbeats Pro were spotted in an iOS update and has now been made official by Apple. The company's Beats division is now making its mark in the true wireless earphones market and will be available to buy from this May. The Powerbeats Pro is going to be more expensive than the AirPods i.e. $250 (Rs 17,200 Approx) and reportedly offers better sound quality. The Powerbeats Pro is also expected to last longer than before and comes with Apple's new H1 chip that can also be found on the new AirPods. The H1 Chip enables the new AirPods to fire up Siri by simply saying the command “Hey Siri”. The wireless earbuds also offer a more secure and comfortable fit as compared to the AirPods. © Apple Beats This reduces sound leakage which has been the only known issue with AirPods. It works similar to the AirPods with the ability to control volume and tracks with any of the two earbuds. The earbuds also automatically play/pause when they are removed from your ear. © Apple The Powebeats Pro is expected to last for up to nine hours or up to 24 hours of playback time with the charging case. The charging case also has a fast-charging feature that can give the earbuds an additional 1.5 hours of usage after five minutes of charge. As of now, there is no word whether we will get to see the Powerbeats Pro launch in India.
  11. Even though Apple announced an updated version of the AirPods, the company accidentally revealed a brand new true wireless earphone that is expected to launch soon. According to a report by 9to5Mac, the company is expected to launch its second true wireless earphones. Apple mistakenly left animations and images inside the iOS 12.2. update which shows off the new Powerbeats wireless earphones. © 9to5Mac The new earphones will be called 'Powerbeats Pro' and will replace the Powerbeats 3 which has better sound quality than the AirPods. It will have a tight seal which is a major missing feature of the AirPods and also has swappable tips. These tips will add better water and sweat resistance for the earphones and keep them in place. The new AirPods come with Apple's H1 chip which could also be included in the Powerbeats Pro. The new chip enables the new AirPods to have an always-listening feature which simply allows users to activate Siri by saying “Hey Siri” © 9to5Mac The Powerbeats 3 offered 12 hours of battery and we could only guess what the Powerbeats Pro is expected to offer. The pricing of the unexpected wireless earphones is also unknown but could be a bit more expensive than the AirPods. The Powerbeats are also expected to launch in two colours i.e. white and black which should be a saving grace for many users. Black AirPods have been one of the most requested product by Apple Fans, and we may just see it on a different set of wireless earbuds for now. We can only be sure of the price and battery life once Apple announces the Powerbeats Pro officially. Source: 9to5Mac
  12. 'Love, Death & Robots' is the kind of show that introduces you to an itch you didn't know needed to be scratched. The 18 episode long NSFW anthology is the perfect show for adults with a dark sense of humour, with an adequate thirst for gore and distressing content to go with it. (No wonder they put up 'This film is for messed up audiences' right at the beginning of the trailer.) As soon as we saw the trailer, we were sweating from all the excitement, because this one screamed 'Black Mirror' because of its weird, dark, futuristic demeanour - only cooler because of all the super edgy animation. Love Death + Robots lands on Netflix March 15.ï¸ â¤ï¸ðð¤ #lovedeathandrobots A post shared by Love Death + Robots (@lovedeathandrobots) on Feb 14, 2019 at 9:31am PST When it comes to animation, viewers in general associate it with lighthearted, harmless content. Well get ready for that myth to be busted, and how. LDR probably is the goriest show you have ever watched till now - when it comes to animated content (probably apart from 'Happy Tree Friends'.) View this post on Instagram A post shared by Love Death + Robots (@lovedeathandrobots) on Feb 25, 2019 at 12:08am PST Another distinguishing feature of the series is the sheer variety of animation it entails. Right from the edgy Japanese style to the unbelievably realistic style of animation that you won't believe isn't real, LDR has it all, and it's an absolute visual treat. The *** scene in 'Beyond The Aquila Rift' legit looks like a clip from an adult movie, and the psychedelic hyper-reality in 'Fish Night' is mind-numbingly beautiful. For example, the ending of 'Sonnie's Edge' - the one with the fighting pit with genetically engineered monsters that are controlled by fighters - can be the start of a whole new story. The same holds true for 'Three Robots' - an edgier version of 'Wall E' in a post-apocalyptic, dystopian world. The best thing about 'Love, Death, and Robots', however, is its runtime. All the episodes range from 6 to 18 minutes, which makes it a super crisp and easy watch. You can literally binge the entire thing in a day, and not feel dead afterwards. Your brain, however, will take weeks to recover from the madness.
  13. Tiger Shroff happens to be one of the few actors in Bollywood who can challenge Hrithik Roshan's capabilities as a dancer, one who is an absolute joy to watch. Hrithik has given quite a few memorable performances as a dancer over the years, ever since he made his debut in 'Kaho Na Pyaar Hai' and his moves in the songs from that movie made women drool over this “Indian Greek god”. Well, if there was one other film whose songs became a rage with the millennials, it was 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham'. One song from the film titled 'Deewana Hai Dekho' was played in every party and somebody would always perform on that song at an event. © Dharma Productions Close to 18 years since then, Tiger Shroff decided to recreate the song from K3G, calling it his “Fav movie...fav song!” and the end result is just as marvellous as it was so many years ago. What do you guys think about it?

  16. On Tuesday, around 11 AM, a time when most of us were either waking up or getting ready or stuck in traffic; PM Modi was busy writing a tweet that was about to shake the nation to its core, the moment he clicked the post button. He wrote this, "I would be addressing the nation at around 11:45 AM - 12.00 noon with an important message. Do watch the address on television, radio or social media." This tweet sent everyone into a frenzy and reminded them of the day when PM Modi suddenly announced Demonetisation. Panic amongst public rose to another level when PM Modi didn't turn up at 11:45 to make the announcement, and he was half an hour late. मà¥à¤°à¥ पà¥à¤¯à¤¾à¤°à¥ दà¥à¤¶à¤µà¤¾à¤¸à¤¿à¤¯à¥à¤, à¤à¤ सवà¥à¤°à¥ लà¤à¤à¤ 11.45 - 12.00 बà¤à¥ मà¥à¤ à¤à¤ महतà¥à¤µà¤ªà¥à¤°à¥à¤£ सà¤à¤¦à¥à¤¶ लà¥à¤à¤° à¤à¤ª à¤à¥ बà¥à¤ à¤à¤à¤à¤à¤¾à¥¤ I would be addressing the nation at around 11:45 AM - 12.00 noon with an important message. Jokes apart, the announcement had nothing to do with Demonetisation, so your money is safe. In the journey of every nation there are moments that bring utmost pride and have a historic impact on generations to come. One such moment is today. Congratulations to everyone on the success of #MissionShakti. — Chowkidar Narendra Modi (@narendramodi) March 27, 2019 PM Modi's special announcement was about 'Mission Shakti', an operation under which an Indian-made anti-satellite weapon called A-SAT shot down a live satellite on a low earth orbit. On one side, you have them and then there is this 6 ft 3in 110-kilo crazy bodybuilder/YouTuber called Bradley Martyn. If you do not know Bradley, he is an internet famous American YouTuber and a former physique competitor who has a massive following of around 3 million on Instagram and 2+ million subscribers on YouTube. Bradley started working out at the age of 15 and was a successful competitor in his early 20s. He was known as the guy whose plans worked really well and that he knew his stuff. He always stresses the importance of hard work for success and said this in an interview: “Against all odds, no matter what you are chasing…Remember that sh*t isn't going to be easy, in fact, it's going to be difficult. But if you want something then, there are risks you're going to have to take. No matter what others might say about your goals. It's not up to the “others” to decide if it is right for you. That's your choice only.” And he definitely knows to have fun as you can see in this video: Note: You are not Bradley Martyn so DO NOT try the lifts he does. Be it under supervision or not. 18. If you love Marvel, you can watch any of the MCU movies for hours and hours without any complain and this is coming from someone who watched 'Avengers: Infinity War' twice yesterday just because it came on TV twice. So, obviously when people heard about the running time possibly being around three hours for 'Avengers: Endgame', everyone was just excited and was already deciding how to hold in their pee while watching the movie, so they don't miss even a second. Now that the actual running time is out - 3 hours and 2 minutes - most people are just calling the Russo Brothers cowards because we all would watch the movie without a break even if it was, say 10 hours long. 19. Imagine a world where you can play even the most demanding AAA titles of your choice without expensive gaming hardware! Yes, a world where you can just open the Chrome browser, pick a game of your choice and play it instantly without having to download or install anything whatsoever. Sounds too good to be true, isn't it? © YouTube Well, even I wouldn't have believed it if it wasn't for Google's CEO Sundar Pichai, who took the stage last night at GDC to announce the company's new game streaming service called Stadia. Yes, the service will essentially let you play any AAA title of your choice with just a tap of a button in your Chrome browser. You can play your games on any device of your choice, provided that you have a solid internet connection. No Downloads and no installation. According to Google, Stadia's cloud computing power is equivalent to a console running at 10.7 GPU teraflops, which is more than the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X combined. So let's take a quick look at the service and see how it works. Here's How Stadia Works As long as you are connected to a fast and stable internet connection, and you're using the latest version of Chrome browser, you can use Stadia and all its features. Like I said earlier, all you need to do is open the Chrome browser, visit stadia.com or tap the video game's link, and start playing. The service requires a streaming rate of 15Mbps, latency below 40ms and data loss below 5-percent. Don't worry, Google will run a quick connection test before dropping you into a game, so you'll know if your connection can handle it. As soon as you start playing the game, it'll go fullscreen and run just like it would normally on, say, a gaming PC or a console. You can choose to play with either a keyboard and a mouse or use Google's own Stadia controller, which it launched yesterday along with the service itself. © Google The details are still murky, but Google says that Stadia will eventually be able to scale up to 8K/ 120+ fps, which is just insane. You'll still have to be logged in to the respective game service like UPlay for Ubisoft, etc. but that's not really an issue, is it? What Games Will Be Available On Stadia? Sadly, Google didn't give us much info about the game, but we do have a good idea about what to expect. For instance, Google was able to give us a demo of Assassin's Creed Odyssey at 1080p 60fps, which according to Ubisoft, requires a powerful rig. So if Stadia was able to run that without much of a hassle, then I believe the service is going to be capable of playing a whole lot of games at these settings. It is also worth pointing out that Google has launched its own studio called Stadia Games and Entertainment. This studio will be put to work for designing games exclusively for Google's game streaming platform. So yes, Google seems pretty ambitious about this service. The service is launching this year in select regions like the US, Canada, UK, and Europe, and there's no info about its arrival in India.
  20. A couple of years back, a relatively unknown – at least in the Indian subcontinent – Hasan Minhaj furthered the politician-comedian parentification (don't look up the dictionary; the meme below explains the meaning of this word better) through his White House correspondents' dinner address. He took digs at the bigotry of Donald Trump & Co, but that didn't make much of an impact in India because, of course, we're stuck in deep shit of our own. © 9gag Over the course of this weekend though, the American comedian of Indian origin finally turned towards the subcontinent in an outright courageous, half-an-hour long episode about the upcoming Indian general assembly elections, on the second season of his Netflix original 'Patriot Act'. And since it touched a lot of nerves, India is kinda…umm abuzz. “Since [Narendra] Modi came to power, India has grown more hostile to minority groups. There's been a resurgence in religious nationalism, specifically Hindu nationalism, the idea that India is a Hindu nation,” opens the monologue. Ha! How dare? A bunch of trolls on my Twitter, and some of you reading this on MensXP (judging by the quality – or the lack of thereof, of a lot of comments on our Facebook page), would disagree. But the bad news for you guys is that he backs it up with solid facts (not Whatsapp forwards and 4Chan theories) to tell you how almost 300 people have been physically assaulted (including the 50 killed) in cow-related violence in India. But I don't expect this lot to understand, let alone be empathetic. After all, I was called a 'cow-eater' just last week on a metro ride to work, because I had put on a kurta (serious offence in this day and age of pigeonholed points of view). So Hasan's Pakistani (then Qatar and then Iran) spy joke hits home instantly. Me reading the comments on the latest episode. https://t.co/dSUYanFAuD pic.twitter.com/btFPPyvoE4 — Hasan Minhaj (@hasanminhaj) March 18, 2019 That's not the only talking point from the episode. An unflinching Minhaj goes on to poke fun at the Indian TV media community that is drawing the ire of international compatriots, especially for its role in the coverage of the recent Indo-Pak tensions. More TV anchors let out war cries than the concerned people and more TV studios were turned into battlefields than the actual ones. If truth be spoken, sane debates – both on air and off it, seem like a distant memory. Trust me, I'm an ex-Muslim man in the 'media business,' and get to physically interact with maybe more people than the average Indian bhakt. In his own style, Minhaj also interviews Indian National Congress' outspoken Member of Parliament, Shashi Tharoor for the episode (FYI, he failed to get a response from the Bharatiya Janata Party and, going by his Twitter handle, Chowkidar Narendra Modi, 'who is the first PM in the country to never hold a press conference'). The comedian goes on to revive the age-old joke of the direct proportionality between an Indian politician and the number of criminal charges against them. For crying out loud, he confronted Tharoor about his wife's murder during their interview. It's a real moment of pride when this is the actual state of Indian media at present. And finally, he also addresses the He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named of Indian politics, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) (yes, my name is Khan and I'm not a terrorist). Minhaj calls upon their problematic history and Narendra Modi's close ties with them, with reference to the rise of right-wing politics across the world in the recent past. Apart from Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adiyanath's 'Aap Ki Adalat' appearance with Rajat Sharma (another TV anchor with dicey political ties), former chief MS Golwalkar deciding to name his book 'A Bunch of Thoughts' also became the butt of his jokes. I didn't listen. #NowStreaming pic.twitter.com/7fnuDuaImW — Hasan Minhaj (@hasanminhaj) March 17, 2019 The Twitter troll army, surprisingly, did stay away from going all-out in harassing Minhaj (at least in the first 24 hours of the episode's release), despite him poking ample fun at Modiji & Co. That's, in some ways, a testimony to the narrative's middle-of-the-road approach, and in a lot of ways an unlikely masterclass for Indian TV media. Well, these were my bunch of thoughts on the show and how Minhaj's rational, hilarious, and neutral take on the Indian political climate, and the dire state of our TV 'journalism'. Without further spoilers, here is the entire episode; check it out.
  21. Remember the foldable phone which Xiaomi teased earlier this year? Yes, the “double folding smartphone” which the company's president Lin Bin showcased in a video? Well, it looks like it'll be the first foldable phone to arrive in India. According to the investors in Xiaomi's supply chain who spoke to iGyaan, Xiaomi's foldable phone is said to make it to the Indian market as early as April or early June this year. Not just that, the phone is said to be priced at Rs. 74,999, which makes this report all the more interesting. Yes, Rs. 74,999 does sound like an expensive affair for a Xiaomi phone, but it's worth pointing out that we're talking about a foldable phone. Other players competing in this space like Samsung & Huawei are selling their phones for as high as $2,000, which roughly translates to about Rs. 1.40 Lakh. If Xiaomi manages to launch its foldable phone at such a price, then it'll be undercutting the price of its competition by half. In fact, Rs. 74,999 is less than what you would pay for something like an iPhone XR in the country. © YouTube One of the main differences between Xiaomi's and other foldable phone is said to be the display. Both Samsung and Huawei are using high-quality OLED panels for their devices, whereas Xiaomi is said to be using Visionox Technology OLED, which hasn't really been tested so far. It's also worth pointing out that Xiaomi's foldable phone, unlike the Galaxy Fold, only has one screen with two foldable hinges on the left and right. Instead of switching back-n-forth between two screens, Xiaomi's phone will just fold backwards to become a smaller phone. With all that being said, there's no way to tell if these changes will compromise on quality. In case you don't know, Samsung has also confirmed that it's launching the Galaxy Fold in India, so it looks like we're about to see a lot of buzz surrounding the foldable phones in the country this year.
  22. 1More has a stellar lineup of earphones that offer superb sound quality at an unbeatable price. The company's most popular products till date include the 1More Pistons, which Xiaomi licensed and sold at a ridiculously low price, and the 1More Triple Driver earphones, which we think is worth every penny. Now, it looks like 1More is on a quest to make a wireless variant of all its popular wired ones, so we decided to check out their Dual driver BT earphones. I am not a huge fan of neckband-style earphones as they don't fit into my lifestyle. I'd rather go fully wireless and use something like the Bose SoundSport Free or just use a wired pair of earphones and completely avoid the hassle of dealing with cords. But I've been using the 1More Stylish Dual Dynamic Driver BT for a week now, and I have to say that it's indeed a winner. To my surprise, I fell head over heels in love with this pair, and let me tell you why. Here's my review of the 1More Stylish Dual-Dynamic BT earphones: Design As I said, I am not a huge fan of neckband-style earphones in general, but I was ready to make an exception for this mainly because my first impressions were fairly positive. Unlike some pair of neckbands, this one has a soft silicone band that blends into the plastic sound chamber. The band itself is not that thick or heavy, so they felt comfortable for the most part. The left chamber houses the button layout which includes a power button and a volume rocker that also doubles up as the previous/next track function. The buttons are clicky and are very easy to get used to, so no complaints there. © MensXP / Akshay Bhalla The wires, which connect to the earphone housings, are fairly thick. I always prefer thick cables like these as they tend to age well over the thin ones. The earphone housing themselves are bigger than average and they protrude out of your ears when you wear them. The protrusion, however, is given considering the fact that they include two drivers inside. Thankfully, 1More bundles a bunch of silicone ear-tips inside the box with which you can find a snug fit. Trust me, that's very important because it can make or break your experience of using this pair of earphones. The medium-sized ear-tips, with which the earphones ship with, weren't good enough for me. It wasn't a snug fit and I couldn't hear the base at all. But switching to the large tips did the trick for me, so it's really important that you find the right fit. I can't stress that enough. © MensXP / Akshay Bhalla How Does It Sound? This particular earphone, just like many other 1More earphones, is tuned by Grammy award-winning sound engineer, Luca Bignardi. Not that it should influence your purchase decision, but it's definitely something to consider. If I have to put it in simple terms, then I must say that these earphones sound great. The passive noise isolation, to begin with, is pretty good. I used them primarily during my metro commute and I am happy to report that I couldn't hear all the annoying chatter and announcements around me. Honestly, it made all the difference to me as I could focus on my music at all times. © MensXP / Akshay Bhalla The drivers are warmer sounding, thanks to the base bump. It's more pronounced in electronic, pop and rap music, and they're all very enjoyable to listen to. The mids are well-presented as well. However, I found them a bit muddy at times. The high, however, are well-detailed and the earphones have a great sound stage with which I was able to make out individual instruments. That's not really a surprise given 1More's reputation. Their products are known for quality among the audiophile community after all. If I have to compare this pair of earphones with the likes of, say, the OnePlus Bullets wireless or Skullcandy's Ink's Bluetooth wireless earphones, then I'd say I like the 1More's dual-driver BT earphones better. It offers great soundstage, thumping bass, good clarity and everything in between. It's not all roses when it comes to the sound quality though. The microphone definitely needs some work. The call quality is below average and I found myself switching to phone's earpiece almost every time since the other person couldn't hear me properly. Charging & Connectivity The 1More Stylish BT has decent battery life. The company claims that you can listen to music for about 6 hours on a single; however, I was only able to push it to maybe like 4 hours on a single charge. Yes, it's not that impressive, but I am willing to give it a pass mainly due to the fact that it supports fast-charging. Also, it uses a micro-USB cable for charging, which is not a deal-breaker, but definitely worth noting. © MensXP / Akshay Bhalla You can fully charge the earphones in just about 50 mins. That, in my opinion, is pretty good. But even if you don't have about 50 minutes to spare, I'd suggest you charge it for like 10-15 minutes to get around 2-3 hours of music playback at, say, about 75 per cent volume. Again, that's not too bad given the fact that it packs two drivers to push. That being said, I highly suggest you keep an eye on the battery level of your phone since the voice prompter is very unreliable, and it alerts about the battery being low until it's about to die. Also, I had paired the 1More Stylish BT with an iPhone XR throughout my testing. These earphones run on Bluetooth v4.2, and I found the connection to be fairly reliable. You can literally leave your phone and move up to 30ft away and still be able to listen to your music. Not too bad, right? I didn't experience any latency issues either while listening to music or while watching videos, so that's great as well. © MensXP / Akshay Bhalla Is It Worth It? The 1More Stylish BT is currently retailing for INR 5,499 (https://india.1more.com/collections/earphones-headphones/products/1more-dual-driver-stylish-wireless), which makes it slightly more expensive than the likes of OnePlus Bullets Wireless and the Skullcandy Ink wireless, which I talked about previously. But is it worth the extra money? Well, I'd say yes, especially if you're looking for a pair of bass-heavy neckband-style earphones. © MensXP / Akshay Bhalla For me personally, these earphones check all the right boxes in the checklist of what makes a pair of wireless earphones good. Yes, it may sound like an expensive proposition, but it's got great audio quality (better than others in this price range), it's nice and comfortable to wear, and it keeps your music isolated from the din of the outside world.
  23. There's been a lot of banter about the Redmi Note 7 Pro's camera prowess. My colleague reviewed the phone earlier this week and found it to be really good, but I wanted to test it out myself before passing my judgement, if any. So I decided to borrow our review unit and took it out for a spin. And boy, was I in for a surprise! I use an iPhone XR as my daily driver and I really like that phone, its cameras included. In fact, it has been one of my favorite phones to shoot pictures with lately. Given how much I like the iPhone XR's cameras, I wasn't expecting the Note 7 Pro to take me by surprise. But trust me, I was wrong. At first, I started capturing random pictures with the Redmi Note 7 Pro to get the hang of the camera and Xiaomi's camera app. Even when I wasn't really putting much effort, this phone managed to produce shots like this: © MensXP / Karthik Iyer Yes, it was at this point that I decided to pull out my iPhone XR out of curiosity to see how they compared. It was somewhat a gloomy day here in New Delhi, which I thought was just perfect to push these cameras to their limits. So, I did. Just take a look: Note: All photos captured from the Redmi Note 7 Pro have a watermark. The images used for comparison were shot on an iPhone XR. Also, none of these images have been edited in any way whatsoever. The images, which you see below, were shot from a metro station. Both phones did a really good job here, but I personally like the Redmi Note 7 Pro's photo mainly because of the colors. They're natural, and the overall image look a lot presentable with lots of detail. © MensXP / Karthik Iyer Next up, I decided to go with a shot which, honestly, even a lot of flagship smartphones struggle with. As we all know, it's pretty hard to expose the subject when there's a strong source of light right behind or around the subject. But both the phones did great in this case. The fact that Redmi Note 7 Pro managed to make it just as good as the iPhone XR did, is truly impressive. © MensXP / Karthik Iyer And here's another one. The Redmi Note 7 Pro's image is the clear winner for me here. The focus on the subject is on point, and there's a ton of detail. Not that the iPhone's image is bad, but it's not something I would post on social media without doing a bit of tinkering unlike the Note 7 Pro's image. It's truly a stunning shot, is it? © MensXP / Karthik Iyer Even as I was losing the light and things started getting more gloomy, the Redmi Note 7 Pro didn't fail to impress me. This is one of those images, which truly made me question the point of buying an expensive phone to get good cameras. Great dynamic range and really good exposure. Just take a look - © MensXP / Karthik Iyer And here's another shot taken in low light/ artificial lighting. This restaurant is better known for its food than lighting, but the pictures aren't too shabby, are they? © MensXP / Karthik Iyer I can keep throwing in more images here from my gallery, but I think we've established a point here. No, I am not trying to pick a winner and justify my opinion. However, I must say that Xiaomi has done a phenomenal job with the Redmi Note 7 Pro. I mean, just Rs 13,990 for a smartphone that's capable of competing with big dogs like Apple's iPhone? Sign me up. Of course, I am not ready to ditch my iPhone, at least not yet, but the Redmi Note 7 Pro is a star. If you like taking pictures on your phone among other things and you don't want to burn a huge whole in your pocket, then the Redmi Note 7 Pro is a no-brainer. It's truly the budget king that everyone needs to beat. © MensXP / Akshay Bhalla Well, that wraps up just about everything. Again, most of this is subjective since not all people tend to prefer the same kind of images. But as someone who loves taking pictures for Instagram and craves a bit of a self-validation, I really enjoyed my time shooting with the Redmi Note 7 Pro. If you're looking to check out more camera samples or want to learn more about the Redmi Note 7 Pro's overall performance, then be sure to check out our review of the phone.

SS Rajamouli's magnum opus aka the 'Baahubali' franchise is hands down the best thing to happen to the Indian film industry. This was one movie that skyrocketed Prabhas' career, but also put Indian cinema on par with some of the leading film industries across the world. © arka media works Among the millions of Baahubali fans, one name happens to be that of Avengers' Nick Fury aka Samuel L Jackson. In fact, he is such a big fan that he wants to act in 'Baahubali 3'. Jackson revealed this to a popular YouTube channel, during the promotions of 'Captain Marvel' featuring Brie Larson, in Singapore. © Marvel Studios When asked if he has heard about Bollywood and which movie he would like to work in, he jokingly said "I want to be in 'Baahubali 3'. No, I am just kidding. I would come into a movie...yeah...I would love to come to Bollywood." Further, when asked about his plans to visit India, he said that he will come, "Only, if they give me a job." SS Rajamouli, are you listening? Can we see a face-off between Baahubali and Nick Fury?
