

KARACHI: Pakistan People's Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and his sister, Aseefa, on Thursday had a glimpse of awful condition of Karachi people due to unannounced and prolonged power outages in the megapolis.
The PPP chairman was to inaugurate an exhibition at Karachi Arts Council on Thursday, for which he arrived there along with his sister, Aseefa, and Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah.

But as soon as the PPP chairman stepped into the Arts Council, the power supply to the vicinity was disconnected.
The attendees at the event were greatly troubled due to the power cut, given the prevailing hot weather.
The situation forced Bilawal to inaugurate the exhibition and leave the event early.
