<p>In a recent row over opinions, tech billionaires Elon Music and Mark Zuckerberg got into a public squabble about the controversial topic of artificial intelligence. Elon Musk, founder and CEO of Tesla And SpaceX, called Zuckerberg's knowledge of the field as “limited”.</p> <p class="articleimg"><img id="ed-img" class="art-lazy imwidth-full" title="Musk Humiliates Zuckerberg Over Artificial Intelligence Row" data-original="http://media.new.mensxp.com/media/content/2017/Jul/musk-humiliates-zuckerberg-over-artificial-intelligence-row1-1501055162.jpg" alt="Musk Humiliates Zuckerberg Over Artificial Intelligence Row" src="http://media.new.mensxp.com/media/content/2017/Jul/musk-humiliates-zuckerberg-over-artificial-intelligence-row1-1501055162.jpg" />© Reuters</p> <p>The world saw this argument laid by Musk earlier this month when he urged for regulation of artificial intelligence as it would pose a “fundamental risk to the existence of civilisation”.</p> <p>Zuckerbeg has an opinion that fear-mongering surrounding artificial intelligence is not the way forward. In a Facebook Live broadcast, Zuckerberg said "I have pretty strong opinions on this. I am optimistic. And I think people who are naysayers and try to drum up these doomsday scenarios... I just don't understand it. It's really negative and in some ways, I think it is pretty irresponsible.” Zuckerberg comes from a school of thought that AI will have far less dystopian applications and instead will be responsible for saving lives. According to him, AI will have the capabilities to diagnose disease and power driverless cars. </p> <p>Elon Musk considered his statement as a very irresponsible remark and said on Twitter “I've talked to Mark about this. Musk does have concerns as to what can happen in future as he fears a Terminator type takeover by robots. Both Musk and Zuckerberg had a tiff last year when SpaceX was scheduled to launch a satellite that would beam the Internet which in turn would be used for Facebook's Free Basics project in Africa.</p> <p></p>
