Understanding Salman Khan can be tough. Of course, the man is a great entertainer who has given us some great movies but at the same time, he is a habitual offender. Often involved in a string of criminal offenses, Salman, court cases and jail go a long way.

You might love him or hate him, but there is no one who can ignore Salman Khan. Some might call him a serial offender while his loyal fans worship the ground he walks upon. Which is why when the Jodhpur court found the actor guilty in the Black Buck poaching case, it was greeted with mixed reactions.

The actor has been sentenced to five years jail in the 1988 case. “Tarik pe tarik”, yeah that's how much time the Indian justice system takes to decide their verdict. The other four actors who were the co-accused – Sonali Bendre, Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, and Neelam – were acquitted of all charges.

The relationship of the 52-year-old actor with the Jodhpur jail goes a long way. In 1998 the actor had spent a total of 18 days in the same jail, so we guess he is somewhat familiar with the interiors. And what's even more interesting is that the 'Dabangg' star will be in the same jail as Asaram Bapu, the spiritual guru accused of raping a school girl.

Salman Khan's bail request will be heard on Friday and the defense is seeking less than three years imprisonment. His team is expected to cite Salman's social work to get leniency from the court.
