Now We Know What A Curved iPhone Will Look Like & The Design Has Already Won Our Hearts

Yesterday we reported that a curved iPhone may be in the works by Apple and may also feature “hover” gestures that may change how we interact with a phone. Now, Martin Hajek (designer) has offered his vision of what the curved iPhone may look like. The design is based on the rumour and was published via iDrop news.

The Bloomberg report suggested “Apple is also developing iPhone displays that curve inward gradually from top to bottom, one of the people familiar with the situation said. That's different than the latest Samsung smartphone screens, which curve down at the edges.”

Even though the rumoured curved iPhone may be in the early stages, it did not stop Hajek from drawing up a concept of the phone. The renders look extremely sexy and we hope it looks similar to what Apple might plan for the future. The renders suggest the iPhone would look very similar to Nokia's banana phone (8110).

iDrop News did not specify whether the phone would be thinner and narrower than the current generation however it may seem likely. The bottom half of the screen is hidden when the phone is fully compressed. Having said that, we feel that a curved iPhone would adopt the foldable screen tech rather than a sliding up mechanism. It certainly would be more practical given that the screen would take up most of the real estate.

Would you use a curved iPhone in the near future? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section.
