Exactly ten years back, in the absence of a few aesthetic changes in fashion, we would have suggested against track pants in public. But thanks to sportswear aesthetics and the advent of Athleisure, track pants are now the new pants. Almost every celebrity on the face of earth, who's also a face that matters, is wearing sweatpants (left, right and centre) and ensuring people cop the idea. Comfort+style now finally has a middle ground in life.

And talking of track pants, while some celebs are wearing the usual, men like Arjun Kapoor (being styled The Vainglorious) have decided to turn to off-beat pairs. Besides wearing some insane street style-approved pieces anyway, Kapoor's track pants is a style move to cop right away:

Honestly, we're all for track pants in public. Not saying you can wear them to every possible setting, but at least they're now in popular culture and look quite sane if slipped into for a casual day out. Pair them with corresponding athletic wear pieces or with wardrobe staples — you're going to look good anyway. What vibe you'd like to turn to though, is completely your personal decision.

In Arjun's case, however, track pants come as residents of the Ripped Association Of Style, with distressed/ripped detailing on the sides. Something, that even the best of street style mavens couldn't dig out yet but Kapoor's stylists, Priyanka and Kazim have finally discovered. 

Pairing them right, Kapoor has ventured into the arena of safe-arse styling, all while topping things off with an Angelos Frentos jacket (with a pop orange lining inside).

Now, to be fair, though we would have loved to see some colour here, in ideology, if a no-colour vision was a deal struck between the stylist and the client, we're 100% down for it too. This is a winning outfit, once again!
