R. Madhavan's Son Makes India Proud By Winning A Bronze In Swimming

R Madhavan is a proud father today and apart from him, so is the nation. His son, Vedant, has made the country proud by winning a bronze for India at the Thailand Age Group Swimming Championship.

Proud moment for Sarita and I as Vedaant wins his first medal for India in an international swim meet in Thailand today. Thank you for all your blessings .

Madhavan recently left his fans in an emotional frenzy after he pulled out of two wonderful projects, including one Rohit Shetty movie. The reason was his shoulder injury which limited his activity and didn't allow him to do stunts for a while.

Shoulder surgery done... fighter back on track... cannot feel my right arm ha ha ha...

Hey folks .. So I am a huge crazy fan of Rohit Shetty and his films. As is my son. It breaks both our hearts that I'm not able to be a part of this film because of my injury. I'm well on my way to recovery but this is a huge opportunity and excitement lost.ðð https://t.co/9YJBctaCJI

While we still wait to see the handsome guy back on screen, he is currently essaying his perennial role of a doting, proud father. Seems like talent swims in their gene pool.
