India's boxing champion Mary Kom has scripted history by clinching gold at the ongoing Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia. She defeated Northern Ireland's Kristina O'Harra to win in the 48kg category. With this victory, she also became the first Indian woman boxer to win a gold medal at the CWG.

While, the whole world was basking in Mary Kom's victory and wishes were pouring in from all parts of the globe, there was one message that was special for various reasons. That message was from her reel-life avatar Priyanka Chopra.

Elated by this victory, Hollywood's hottest 'bae' and 'Quantico' actress, Priyanka took to Twitter to congratulate Mary Kom for her great performance. Calling Mary Kom India's pride, Priyanka also said that “You are and always will be my champion!”

In fact, in a moving gesture, Mary Kom dedicated her Gold medal to her three sons, Rechungvar, Khupneivar and Prince.
