‘Haseena’, infamously known as ‘Aapa’, was a name that sent chills down anyone’s spine in Mumbai. The teaser takes you through her journey, giving a glimpse into her private life to becoming a gangster herself. It was the time when her husband was gunned down, which pushed her to be part of this world of crime. Some considered her to be a ruthless gangster while some call her godmother.

The element that she held charge of Mumbai’s Nagpada and represented her brother Don Dawood Ibrahim adds a lot of drama in this short video clip, piquing your interest in the film.
Shraddha Kapoor will be seen playing a dark and dangerous character, which is very different than the roles she has played till date. Playing Haseena might be one of the best roles she has done and there is a possibility that it might change her image as an actor as well. Shraddha looks very convincing in this role, as she has given her best to carry this character giving the film a very realistic feel. You probably wouldn’t want to miss Shraddha’s never-seen-before avatar.
Ankur Bhatia can be seen playing her husband while Dawood is being played by her real husband, Siddhanth Kapoor.

The film is a biopic based on the life of Haseena Parkar. The tagline of the film is “Athhaasi cases darj par court mein haziri sirf ek baar,” and you can see its impact in the teaser as well. The queen has definitely arrived and we look forward to the full film.
‘Haseena Parkar’ is scheduled to hit theatres on August 18.
