  1. Let's face it, it's hard to keep yourself from asking for that slice of pizza, or ordering more 'bhature'. Well, that's exactly why a company decided to make an electric bracelet that delivers a 350-volt shock every time you decide to splurge on junk food that you'd be better off without eating. Called 'Pavlok bracelet', this piece of wearable tech is a behavior training device that utilizes aversive conditioning. Aversive conditioning, in case you don't know, is essentially behavior training that uses negative stimuli and association to reaffirm a specific action as undesirable. So yes, it'll know when you're doing something that you're not supposed to be doing. That being said, this bracelet can be used to keep you away from not just junk food, but any bad habits that you've been wanting to get rid of. Having trouble saving money? Smoking too many cigarettes? You name it and they know. The bracelet is capable of delivering 150 shocks on a single charge, which isn't too bad for something that's capable of tracking and stopping you from doing what you're not supposed to do. It connects and pair to an app on your phone, which even your friends an family can download to keep a track of you. © Pavlok This bracelet is currently being sold online on Amazon in the US for $199. It sounds a little expensive, but we think it's reasonable considering the fact that it's designed to help you curb your bad habits and replace them with good ones that help you live a better life. We really hope they start selling this bracelet outside the US because we all have cravings that are waiting to be kicked!
  2. After a fortnight of conjecture, Chelsea Football Club announced the exit of Maurizio Sarri as their manager through their website. The Italian will now join Serie A giants Juventus, penning a three-year long contract with the Bioncaneri. Unlike predecessors Jose Mourinho and Anotnio Conte, Sarri was never a popular figure at Chelsea. Despite a winning start and going unbeaten for the first 12 league games of the campaign, becoming the first manager in the history of the Premier League to do so, and a home win against champions Manchester City in December; a poor run of form and dip in results in the beginning of 2019 led to discontent among fans and higher level management alike. © Reuters In a club that is used to watching adaptive and reactive football, Sarri's stubborn and tactical approach did not sit well with fans. The Jorginho-Kante situation is a perfect example of this. The brilliant Frenchman was made to play away from his usual defensive midfield position to accommodate Sarri's system that needed Jorginho in the center of midfield to bridge the gap between defense and attack. This did not go down well with the fans. Even after securing Champions League football with a third place finish in the Premier League and the Europa League title, Sarri will not be the manager of Chelsea next year. It has since been debated whether the Italian was forced out of the club or he opted to seek greener pastures at Juventus. But it highlights a major problem for the West London club- the owner and board of the club never bought into Maurizio's philosophy and hiring a manger like him without believing in him is a poor decision, given Chelsea's previous track record with managers. Sarri joins Juventus as part of a clear project, to win the coveted UEFA Champions League trophy and to implement an attacking and possession based style of football while doing so. For Chelsea, however, uncertainty rings throughout Stamford Bridge regarding who will take up the role. Thank you and good luck for the future, Maurizio. ð pic.twitter.com/dGHzekBNPT — Chelsea FC (@ChelseaFC) June 16, 2019 Former Stamford Bridge hero Frank Lampard is the bookmaker's favourite with former players Jody Morris and Petr Cech set to take up roles as Assistant Manager and Technical Director respectively. It seems likely that Chelsea will be bringing the old guard back but they will be in charge of the backroom operations rather than taking the field. The appointments might excite fans of the club but it also highlights two major concerns, a major change of approach from owner Roman Abramovich and the Chelsea board; and the lack of options at Chelsea's disposal to replace Sarri. Only one year into his management career with tier-two side Derby County, Frank Lampard may be a Chelsea hero, but he's a very inexperienced appointment which is uncharacteristic of Abramovich and Chelsea. Petr Cech, having just retired from football, filling the role of Technical Director is another massive risk. © Reuters With a particularly hard dressing room to manage that has gone through 4 managers in 6 seasons, the transfer of star talisman Eden Hazard to Real Madrid and a potential two-window transfer ban from FIFA due to the breaches concerning the transfer of players who are under 18, the problems are piling up for the Blues. Other managerial options such as former blues boss Jose Mourinho and ex-Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri are unlikely to take charge of such a problematic dressing room. Lampard and the old guard look like Chelsea's best option. After a successful campaign with Derby County, very nearly clinching promotion to the Premier League, Lampard has shown a Mourinho-esque swagger in his time at Derby and his promotion of youth and positive tactics are big reasons why Chelsea would consider the Englishman for the job. However, overwhelming questions still remain unanswered for Chelsea. Can Lampard do the job for them? If not him, then whom? How will they cope with the potential transfer ban? How will they balance a problematic dressing room with an up-and-coming academy? All things said and done, however, the appointment comes at a time when a legend like Lampard's appointment could be the bounce that Chelsea fans need to reignite their passion for the club as they will kick-off their Premier League campaign at Old Trafford on 11th August.
  3. United States President Donald Trump is known to have a way with words. And, of course, that isn't anything to do with great use of the English vocabulary or enlightening his audience to insightful remarks. Instead, Trump often ends up making headlines and courting controversy by expressing his beliefs and opinions under the public glare. And this aspect of his personality isn't coming to light just now, it's been around since time immemorial. Remember, new "environment friendly" lightbulbs can cause cancer. Be careful-- the idiots who came up with this stuff don't care. — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 17, 2012 Even his latest diplomatic visit to the United Kingdom was met with protests and sloganeering, as thousands took to the streets of London to voice their dissent against Trump's visit to the country. (FYI, Trump denied that Londoners were protesting against his visit and called the demonstrations “fake news” though as many as 75,000 people participated in the protests.) (c) Twitter However, the latest reason why Trump is yet again trending on social media is because of his most recent tweet. For all of the money we are spending, NASA should NOT be talking about going to the Moon - We did that 50 years ago. They should be focused on the much bigger things we are doing, including Mars (of which the Moon is a part), Defense and Science! — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 7, 2019 Yes, you read that right. Hours ago, Trump hit out at NASA and said that it shouldn't consider going to the moon as an achievement since the feat was already ticked off 50 years ago. Instead, the space agency should focus on “bigger things”. The tweet only confused people further, because the Trump government had earlier announced their plans to restart moon landings by 2024. As @POTUS said, @NASA is using the Moon to send humans to Mars! Right now, @MarsCuriosity and @NASAInSight are on Mars and will soon be joined by the Mars 2020 rover and the Mars helicopter. pic.twitter.com/Br1sTYfNzd — Jim Bridenstine (@JimBridenstine) June 7, 2019 But that's not all. While talking about the need for NASA to shift its focus on bigger things such as Mars, Trump ended up suggesting that the moon is a part of Mars. This major goof-up didn't go unnoticed, and people on social media cannot seem to stop themselves from sharing a great laugh at the expense of the US President and his choice of words. You are not fit to lead this country (or explain the solar system to children). — Trump's Ties (@TrumpsTies) June 7, 2019 "Science" I know reading isn't really your thing so here are some pictures! That red circley thing— That is Mars. That smaller white circley thing— That is the Moon. Mars ∩ Moon = Ø pic.twitter.com/6nTioXYBKj — Ryan Hill (@RyanHillMI) June 7, 2019 This dude went all out. President no speak good. Double SAD (h/t @Trumps_Editors) pic.twitter.com/hliH8l1S8L — Ryan Hill (@RyanHillMI) June 7, 2019 LOL Yeah sorry I just straight up stole Earth's moon. I got kinda jealous — Mars (@4thFromOurStar) June 8, 2019 Touche. The Moon is as much a part of Mars As honesty is part of Sarah Sanders As reality is part of Giuliani As sanity is part of Hannity As Christianity is part of the Coultergeist As compassion is part of Republicans As piracy is part of Space As genius is part of Trump — Tomi T Ahonen (@tomiahonen) June 8, 2019 On-Point pic.twitter.com/BJzjmmlM3b — My Haircut Has a Fanclub (@Yax_Attack) June 8, 2019
  4. Apple finally announced the new iOS 13 for iPhones and iPod Touch during the WWDC 2019 keynote yesterday. Yes, iOS is no longer available for iPad and that's because the company announced a new OS for iPads called iPadOS. iOS 13, in case you don't know, comes with a bunch of new features like Dark Mode, a couple of redesigned apps, faster app loading times, faster FaceID and more. © Apple According to Apple, the first public beta of iOS 13 will launch in July. But if the curiosity to try out the new OS is killing you, then you can actually install and check out the iOS 13 beta right now. Yes, it's possible and here's how you can do it. How To Install iOS 13 Right Now In order to install iOS 13 on your iPhone right now, you'll need a paid Apple developer account. That's because this isn't a public iOS 13 beta rollout. The beta software is only available for the developer to play with the OS and make compatible apps. If you're not a developer and don't have a developer account, then you can enroll for one right here. Do make a note that not all users are eligible to have a developer account, so you might not be able to create one right away. If you have a paid developer account, then you visit this page of the Apple Developer site to download the beta software right now. Again, do make a note that this won't be an OTA update, so you'll have to manually install the update. Wait For The Public Beta While the developer beta is out right now, we suggest you wait for the public rollout next month. For one, it'll be free to download and can be loaded via an OTA update. It'll also be slightly more polished than the developer beta that's out right now. Also, before you proceed, it's worth pointing out that it's best to create a back up before installing the beta software. Failing to do so will force you to be stuck with the beta version of iOS 13, which may or may not be very stable for daily use. Supported iPhones & iPods © Apple According to Apple, these are devices that can take part in the iOS 13 beta - iPhone XS, XS Max iPhone XR iPhone X iPhone 8, 8 Plus iPhone 7, 7 Plus iPhone 6s, 6s Plus iPhone SE iPod Touch 7th Generation Well, now that you know everything about iOS 13 beta, go ahead and check out all the new features that are available.
  5. Battle Royale games like PUBG Mobile and Fortnite, as we all know, hit mobile gamers hard. With over millions of active players, these titles are still going strong even after all these years. Well, if you're tired of playing the same old battle royale titles, or if you're planning to get aboard the battle royale hype train, then we've got some amazing options. Let's check them out - 1) Crossfire Legends If you like PUBG Mobile, then you'll most likely enjoy Crossfire Legends too. It's a fantastic game and it's developed by Tencent, the guys who made PUBG Mobile. Just like PUBG Mobile, Crossfire Legends' BR mode also lets you dive into a solo, duo or a squad game. Crossfire Legends got great weapons and amazing visuals, so it's definitely worth checking out. In addition to the BR mode, this particular game also offers a few different modes such as Team Deathmatch, Mutant mode, and more. Availability: Android & iOS 2) Call Of Duty: Mobile This one's a fairly new game. Heck, it's not even available for all users, but it's still worth adding to the list. Call of Duty: Mobile, though it's only available for select registered users, has gained a lot of traction. It's got a Battle Royale mode, Team Deathmatch, etc. Call of Duty: Mobile differentiates itself as a tactical shooter, making it one of the very titles out there offering a tactical shooting experience. We've already put up a detailed write up explaining about the key differences from PUBG Mobile and you can check it out right here. In case you haven't tried the game yet, here's how you sideload the game and play it right now. Availability: Android & iOS 3) Fortnite Fortnite is in-part responsible for creating the battle royale hype, so we had to add this to the mix. Unlike PUBG Mobile, this one's a super stable game and a lot of fun to play. Although Fortnite is a battle royale title, the gameplay is slightly different. The only downside to the game is that it's not available on the Google Play Store, so you'll have to get it from the Epic Launcher. It's available directly from the App Store though. Availability: Android & iOS 4) PUBG Mobile Well, lastly we have PUBG Mobile. Yes, the game that popularised the Battle Royale genre. The game lets you jump off to an island with 99 other players and get into an epic battle to get the 'Chicken Dinner'. The game has a bunch of different weapons, looks great, and even works on phones with not-so-powerful specs. One of the best things about this game is that it's constantly updated with new skins, items, etc., so there's always something to look forward to. Give it a try if you haven't already, but keep your play time in check. Availability: Android & iOS
  6. Computex 2019 is currently underway, which means it's time for us to check out some cool new hardware products. After AMD's new chipset announcement, now ASUS has decided to turn up the heat with some kickass products. The company launched a ton of products today, however, it's new “Edition 30” ZenBook laptop is what caught our attention. So, ASUS is celebrating its 30-year-anniversary with this new special edition laptop called the ASUS ZenBook Edition 30. Before we talk a bit more about the product itself, let's just take a moment to appreciate how awesome the laptop looks - © YouTube ASUS The new ASUS ZenBook Edition 30, as you can see, sports a white leather lid cover and an 18-karat rose gold logo, which resembles Star Trek's Starfleet insignia, no? According to ASUS, every piece of leather used to make these laptops have been hand selected, and each panel cover is meticulously sewed by a master tailor. Yes, it sounds like overkill, but hey, it's a limited edition product. Internally, the ZenBook Edition 30 is powered by Intel's 8th Gen Core i7 processor coupled with up to 16GB of RAM and PCIe SSD storage. For graphics, the laptop uses Nvidia's GeForce MX250 discrete GPU. It sports a 13-inch display on the front with minimal bezels. With a 95-per cent screen-to-body ratio, ASUS says this is the world's smallest 13-inch laptop. ASUS is also making special accessories for this laptop. There's a pearl white mouse and a leather sleeve, both of which look equally good. Sadly, ASUS won't tell us when the laptop will go on sale and for how much, so you can't really buy it just yet. Even once it's up for grabs, we're sure it's not going to be cheap.
  7. The world of Netflix is an endless menu that never satiates our appetite. This week, in case you're looking for a little something to binge-watch that catches your fancy and keeps you interested, then allow us to recommend you 'Dead To Me', a dark comedy which depicts life in odd situations and is very real and raw in parts. The brilliant series stars Linda Candellini and Christina Applegate in the leads as Judy and Jen, respectively. The story is simple when you look at it. Jen is a widow who is frustrated with life after her husband Ted dies in a hit-and-run accident and she can't cope with dealing with life as a single mother and is looking for Ted's killer. Then comes Judy who is an over-enthusiastic, super optimistic and suspiciously sacchariferous to the eye. They eventually become friends and Judy helps Jen cope with the loss. It's neither a mush drama, nor is it a soppy soap opera. Together the two women learn to pick each other up and face life, one day at a time. However, there is a looming secret about Jen's dead husband Ted and another stomach-curling revelation which you find out in the first episode only, and that will change your perception about how you perceive the characters completely. People on the internet are absolutely loving it. I watched the first episode of #Deadtome on Netflix yesterday and IT GOT MEEEEEEEE. By the end of the episode was like pic.twitter.com/RlITJWuYJR — RAVEN B. (@RAVIEB) May 23, 2019 Also, Dead To Me, on Netflix is a fucking triumph. Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini are infinitely watchable, the show balances darkness and humor on the edge of a razor, and I am dying to see what happens next. If you haven't watched it yet, do it now — elan gale (@theyearofelan) May 22, 2019 Just started binge-watching #DeadToMe thinking it was a comedy. Then it's a dark comedy. Now it's a mystery? This show has me laughing on the edge of my seat. Also, I want to write down quotes to work into my real life. Is that wrong?#netflix https://t.co/bgcjqMKMN9 — eleni (@elenikoko2) May 25, 2019 The show is sometimes eerily real, so much that it makes you laugh and you kind of feel bad when you laugh on something you really shouldn't, because it will make you look at yourself and say 'that's me' and you won't feel great about it, but then you're only human. It also has a very 'YOU' vibe to it (another brilliant stalker drama on Netflix) and makes you think about who you can really trust. With 10 interesting episodes, this can be your weekend binge.
  8. 'Call Of Duty: Mobile' is the next free-to-play game that is currently in Beta on Android. Being one of the biggest gaming franchises of all time, the first-person shooter game is already garnering new players every day and is now PUBG mobile's biggest competition yet. The game is currently working for Android smartphones; however, you need to pre-register to access the game via the Play Store. © Call of duty mobile Having said that, there is a way to access the game without having to wait for registrations. The process is a bit more complicated than simply installing the APK file. The game comes with some classic maps from previous AAA Call of Duty games, multiplayer game modes, battle-royals mode, familial characters and signature weapons. © Call Of Duty Mobile In order to play the game, we recommend you have a file management app already installed on your device. Once you have installed a file manager, follow these essential steps below to make the game work: Download the APK file and additional OBB files from here Install the APK file and extract the OBB files. Copy the OBB files into a folder and name it as “com.activision.callofduty.shooter” Copy the com.activision.callofduty.shooter folder and past into the following path: Phone Storage Android OBB After pasting the files, go ahead and start playing the game. © MensXP/Karthik Iyer You can now register yourself with your Facebook account or play as a guest. Bhuvan has definitely shown us a good way to combat Monday blues at work. © Instagram/Bhuvan Bam 2. If the idea of wearing checks goes wrong for your boardroom meetings, here's where you can take your inspiration from. Bhuvan has gone full check with a double-breasted check blazer and check trousers. To maintain the formal tone, he opted for brown brogues and summed up his repertoire with all sorts of accessories possible. © Instagram/Bhuvan Bam 3. There are wardrobe classics and then there's a hoodie that goes a long way. With no fashion faux pas at all, Bhuvan wore a red hoodie with a grey sweatshirt quite effortlessly. A quirky patterned cap is a contrasting addition here! © Instagram/Bhuvan Bam 4. Achieving a casual look at times can put you in a style rut, but say no more. Bhuvan had our attention instantly with his quirky printed, bomber jacket teamed with fashionable cargo pants. © Instagram/Bhuvan Bam 5. Why choose the usual white sneakers when you have a new trend on the block? Yes, we are talking about neon high tops, that are so lit and in at the moment that even Bhuvan couldn't resist wearing them! Inspired, much? © Instagram/Bhuvan Bam

  11. Google announced a bunch of cool new Android Q features last night during the Google I/O 2019 keynote, and the update is now available for a bunch of smartphones. But before we check out the list of phones that will receive the update, here are all the cool new features of Android Q: Live Caption © YouTube Live caption feature, as the name suggests, will put an end to your subtitle woes. Yes, Google has revealed that this particular feature will take the words spoken in a video and display captions in real time. Live caption feature is not limited to just the videos you watch on, say, YouTube or Netflix, it can even show you captions in a video you've taken on your phone or any videos which you've received on WhatsApp, etc. So cool, right? Dark Mode © YouTube Yup, Android Q is getting a system-wide dark mode called 'Dark Theme'. So, the dark mode, besides making your phone look cool, can also help you get a little more juice out of your phone's battery. On Android Q, you'll be able to enable the dark mode by simply switching a toggle. New Gesture Navigation © YouTube Gesture navigation is something which Google had introduced with the last version of Android, but now, it's going all in. Honestly, we think it's very similar to the gesture navigation which we have on the iPhones. Here's how it works - In Android Q, there's now a thin, long white bar at the bottom instead of the 'pill and back button combo. You can simply swipe up from within an app to go home or swipe up and drag across to go into the multitasking view. To get to the app drawer, you can just swipe up from the home screen. To go back to the previous screen, you can swipe in from either side of the display. Yes, the new gestures on Android Q are very similar to Apple offers on the new iPhones, but it's not necessarily a bad thing because the iPhones gestures are fluid and they work like a charm. Permissions and Privacy © YouTube Much of the Google I/O keynote last night was about security and privacy features. Yes, Google seems to be taking the user privacy very seriously, and it shows with this new build of Android. The company has added a new 'Privacy section to settings, which will have a mix of different settings to let you take control of your privacy. There's a lot of ground to be covered in this section, but the gist of it all is that Google is very serious about user privacy and it wants the users to be on the front and centre of it all. Focus Mode © Google Google already introduced an extensive set of features to keep you away from the phone under the 'Digital Wellbeing' tag last year with Android P. Well now, the company is adding a new feature called 'Focus Mode'. This new mode is just like Do Not Disturb feature, except you'll be able to pick the apps that you find distracting or tempting, and shut them down for some time. It's a simple idea, but we think it'll users be more productive. Apart from the aforementioned features, Android Q brings a lot of other new things like Parental control, changes to notifications, the way the security updates are handled, and more. List of phones that can enrol in the Android Q beta - · Google Pixel 3, 3XL · Google Pixel 3a, 3a XL · Google Pixel 2, 2XL · Google Pixel, XL · ASUS Zenfone 5Z · Essential PH-1 · Nokia 8.1 · Huawei Mate 20 Pro · LG G8 ThinQ · OnePlus 6T · Oppo Reno · Realme 3 Pro · Sony Xperia XZ3 · Tecno Spark 3 Pro · Vivo X27 · Vivo NEX S · Vivo NEX A · Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 5G · Xiaomi Mi 9 If you have any of the devices mentioned above, you can now enrol for the Android Q Beta and check out all the new features.
  12. This article contains major spoilers, proceed with caution! 'Game of Thrones' Season 8, episode 4 just aired and we're slightly disappointed with how the events unfolded. Primarily, because after burning the men and women from the last episode, who'd died in the Battle of Winterfell, there was still no clarity and focus on how everything unravelled. There were celebrations and people trying to figure out if Dany would make a befitting queen. © HBO Yes, that was another daunting and disappointing aspect of the show. Daenerys is obviously relentlessly pissed off at the fact that Jon Snow can take over the Iron Throne after the war is won and of course, that's not settling well with her. That's why she asks him not to disclose who he really is and that's the first trait of madness we witness in her. Sure, she may love him, but a woman known for burning her enemies, clearly consumed by rage and passion, isn't likely to make the wisest or most compassionate of judgments and is not really a queen fit enough for the throne and this episode is the first testimony to that statement. © HBO Here are 3 prominent reasons why Daenerys Targaryen is not a suitable queen for the Seven Kingdoms: (1) Her Interpretation Of Her Rule Is Not Through Kindness Yes, Dany can be kind and unruly but most times, she's been rather blunt with her choice of execution. Burning them to the ground is the only way Dany sees fair judgement and we've seen that in the past episodes. But the bad part is that her advisors and council act on those very instincts as well. For instance, when Missandei used the word 'Dracarys' towards the end, it's way too problematic. © HBO If you remember how Missandei was freed from slavery, you'll know why. Dracarys means dragon fire and it's a command Dany's dragons follow to burn cities or people. When she ordered the dragon to slay with fire, it's definitely a symbol of freedom but synonymous with death and destruction. When Missandei repeated it, it felt like the queen's mad intent to use her dragons to burn everything down was what Missandei picked up on and said fiercely on her death bed as well, as a watchword. Making it seem like neither the queen or her followers really cared for the people of the Seven Kingdoms. (2) She Never Listen To Her Advisors A good leadership skill to have is listening to the advice your advisors bestow upon you, because some may be more experienced in terms of knowledge to give adequate advice. Dany, if you notice, has stopped paying any heed to her hand or to her other advisors. Case in point, when Sansa advices her to give the army time to recuperate from the war, Dany puts her foot down claiming Cersei is waiting for her and her army grows while she waits. Again, when Varys suggests she acts a little more tactical, she practically shuts him down. Her want for the throne is greater than anyone's life and she's far from understanding that, especially through other people. © HBO (3) She's Impulsive As the seasons carry forth and Dany comes closer to the throne, her ways of dealing with things have become more impulsive. Right after Jon told her who he really was, she's been in a hurry to get to the throne somehow. She made no effort to think about what dangers may lie en route King's Landing and made a journey without a strategy or an alliance even and (assumably) lost her dragon in the bargain. During the end, when Missandei was beheaded, Dany didn't show resilience like any good ruler. She showed immense anger and what may seem like her heading towards Drogon, whom she may lose too. If she let's go of her recently acquired impulsive nature, maybe she can think with a bit of tact and apply strategy where it's required. © HBO We're not sure if she will turn out to be like her father after all and lose her life in the battle. The signs seem a little more clear when she unreasonably asks Jon to not reveal his true identity because then they can't be together. Well, maybe the real reason is that she seeks the throne and Jon is a threat, even though he doesn't wish it. What happens next is unforeseeable but let's hope it ends well for Dany. But for now, she's not fit to be the rightful ruler of the Seven Kingdoms.

It's been a crazy week with fans bidding adieu to some major characters in 'Avengers: Endgame' and 'Game of Thrones' this week, and while the entire social media is flooded with just these two trending terms, since that's all anyone can talk about right now, a similar expression plastered on Khaleesi and Thor's face has now become a viral meme and there's a battle of jokes happening over it. 15. Huawei launched a new smartphone that defies everything we've known so far about smartphone cameras. At first, we didn't believe in the hype ourselves until we got to use the smartphone for ourselves. The P30 Pro can take pictures in almost every environment and can even take detailed images of the moon. The P30 pro is not only about offering great cameras, but it also features great design, awesome performance and impressive battery life. The P30 Pro may just be the perfect smartphone every company has been trying to make in the past decade. So, let's find out why the Huawei P30 Pro is probably the only smartphone you want to look at this year: Design & Display When it comes to the design of the smartphone the first thing you will notice is the gradient colours. We have seen the Chinese company breathe new life to smartphones with their Honor branded smartphones and the Mate 20 Pro, and it seems like the company is looking to continue that tradition. We got to use both the Aurora Blue and Breathing Crystal variants and they both looked absolutely stunning. © MensXP_Akshay Bhalla When you look beyond the colours, the Huawei P30 Pro is not particularly a small device. It has a 6.47-inch display and has curved edges similar to the Mate 20 Pro. The edges on the back of the smartphone also have a curved profile giving it a much ergonomic feel that its predecessor. Overall, the design is impressive, however, the P30 Pro is quite prone to scratches on both sides. We would recommend you use the supplied cover to protect the phone from any damages you may incur overtime. © MensXP_Akshay Bhalla When it comes to the display, the 6.47-inch FHD+ AMOLED display has a smaller notch than the Mate 20 Pro as it does not have the same sensors for facial recognition. Face unlock does work on the P30 Pro but it isn't as reliable as the Mate 20 Pro or the iPhone XS. The display is also used as a loudspeaker instead of having a traditional grille for audio output. You may find it weird at first, however, we got used to it in a matter of days. The AMOLED display quality is excellent where the colours are vibrant and have balanced contrasts. The sharpness is also quite impressive if you like to watch movies and play games. Having said that, we did find the hue on the display on the cooler side which could be annoying for some users. Software © MensXP_Akshay Bhalla The smartphone is powered by Huawei's Kirin 980 chipset that is particularly fast and works in tandem with Huawei's EMUI. Having said that, EMUI is a quite bloaty skin that is particularly not clean. Even though we've not been fond of EMUI in the past, the P30 Pro comes with some cool AI features such as an AI video editor (similar to Google Photos), scene detection features for the camera app. It even comes with digital well-being features such as a downtime feature for applications. When you reach your limit for a particular app, the screen turns grey preventing you from doing what you were meant to stop. The P30 Pro also comes with another nifty feature i.e. a Digital Car Key. Basically, you can use the P30 Pro to use as a key for select Audi cars. You can even start the engine with your smartphone. Alas, we did not get to test this feature, however, you can read up more literature about this on Audi and Huawei's website Camera © MensXP_Akshay Bhalla The star attraction of the Huawei P30 Pro is its impressive camera setup. It's touted to have incredible digital photography capabilities and for good reason. The array on the back has a 40MP 27mm f/1.6 wide-angle main sensor, a 20MP ultra wide-angle 16mm f/2.2 and an 8MP 5x optical periscope zoom lens, plus a ToF lens. The zoom lens on the P30 Pro is one of the most impressive sensors we've seen as it can do image stabilisation even when zoomed in well over 10x. The P30 Pro uses OIS + EIS at the same time to achieve this feat. Of course, the quality does drop down a bit when you exceed the zooming parameters, however, it is still the best we've ever seen on a smartphone. We could even capture some very accurate and detailed shots of the moon with 50x zoom. You can see the clarity in the photo samples below. Huawei has partnered with Leica to make some of the most impressive we've ever seen. The new sensors are called SuperSpectrum sensors that use RYYB instead of the traditional RGB. Yellow has been used in place of green as it can take in both red and green lights. The sensor is capable of capturing more information and clearer images. Having said that, not everything is peachy here as when you take images of flora, there is considerable saturation which is entirely accurate when it comes to real colours. The Huawei P30 Pro is also incredible at taking low-light images, especially in the night. The light sensitivity ISO goes up to 400,000 which is completely unheard of on a smartphone. You can take some incredible night shots using the Night Mode, which works similar to what you find on Google Pixel 3. It basically takes multiple frames at different levels of exposure and then combines them into a single image. The ToF sensor basically comes in handy when you want to capture the depth or take portrait images from your smartphone. It can read objects and gets a better idea of the subject in front of the camera. The ToF sensor records how long it takes for the light to hit the object in front of the smartphone. This resulted in some awesome portrait images, however, did not work as advertised in dark environments. P30 Pro Camera Samples Performance The Huawei P30 Pro is powered by the Kirin 980 chipset which is also the Chinese company's flagship processor. In terms of RAM, the smartphone comes with 8GB of RAM and a Mali-G76 MP10 GPU for gaming. We encountered no issues when it came to the smartphone's performance and gaming was a breeze as there were no noticeable frame rate drops. We managed to play PUBG in high settings but we enjoyed playing Fortnite more due to the smooth graphics. The P30 Pro also comes with a proprietary file transfer system which basically is faster in reading/write speeds than anything we've seen so far. In terms of benchmark tests, our review unit was able to achieve a score a respectable 3292 in the single-core test while it scored 9657 in the multi-core test. Battery Life © MensXP_Akshay Bhalla The P30 Pro has a 4,200 mAh battery and we managed to get 8-9 hours of screen-on time. The smartphone supports 40W fast charging and 15W wireless charging. Much like the Mate 20 Pro, you can even turn on the reverse wireless charging feature to charge other devices such as the new AirPods or the Galaxy Buds. The battery life on the P30 Pro is probably one of the best we've seen on an Android smartphone. The P30 Pro easily lasted more than 17 hours on a single charge and our usage included heavy gaming, GPS navigation, texting, internet browsing and even reverse wireless charging at times. The Final Say As smartphones get increasingly saturated, there are only a few fields left where it can be improved upon. Companies keep trying to improve mobile photography or performance or battery life but often sacrifice at least one of these key features. Having said that, the P30 Pro offers all of these features and do them well. The Huawei P30 Pro does offer the best camera on a smartphone right now and is genuinely a jack of all trades. In some cases, it's even a master of one such as low-light photography. When it comes to competition, only the Pixel 3 comes into mind that can stand up to the P30 Pro when it comes it mobile photography. For Rs 71,9990; you get the latest tech with awesome performance and extraordinary cameras.
  16. Due to the popularization of the fitness industry, thousands of fitness coaches are available right now and their demand is on the peak. Right from the 'not to be taken seriously' ones who teach you hacks to lose face fat and belly fat in 7 days to those who speak actual facts and back their practice with the latest evidence, you will find every type of trainer out there. © Unsplash The problem is that a lot of people fall easily for the quick hacks and sorcery-promising ones and do not really pay attention to the latter. That is unless they screw their happiness and waste their money on the quick fix ones and then go to the evidence-based practitioners. If you are looking to work with a professional for your fitness goals, here are a few qualities they should have: 1. Professionalism © Unsplash Like I mentioned, if you are looking to work with a professional, that is what they have to be. A professional. That means they should clearly communicate with the client what can be expected in the coaching, their timelines, what do they expect from the client, their coaching style, their communication channels and turnaround times. Along with that, what results the client can expect from the program and what are the things they would be required to do. 2. Ethical A coach who is trying to sell you a particular supplement or a fishy product under their sponsorship agenda or asks you to take certain drugs saying that you absolutely need it to get good results, are NOT the best lot to help you out. A coach should only 'suggest' supplements as it is not their role to make recommendations or ask you to buy things. They should suggest stating the benefits only and keep the decision-making power totally in your hands. Drugs, should not even come up in a conversation with your trainer. 3. Should Walk The Talk If your coach is obese, does not train regularly, does not eat well, seems like they themselves need a coach and are not the best person to be a coach to someone. By walk the talk, it does not mean they should be ripped and flash abs year round but should be what is considered fit and have a supporting lifestyle. If they don't, you will never be inspired to go an extra mile forward for them to get better or take them seriously in the first place. 4. Creates Plans Individualized For You © Unsplash If someone takes your money under the premise of coaching and ends up sending you some template files or cookie cutter programs, they are selling you templates and not coaching. Coaching, on the other hand, means that the coach in question takes information from you regarding your goals, your lifestyle, your current nutrition, training, sleep habits and then creates a plan suited for your lifestyle and goals. It is YOUR plan. Not the one that is a one-size-fits-all plan. 5. Transparency & Education A coach should not just tell you what to do and ask you to follow him blindly. A coach should be able to give you a satisfactory explanation as to 'why' a particular thing or a plan has been set for you and how it would benefit you. Along with that, the coach should equip you with the necessary information and education so that you can be independent after a few months to take charge of your own fitness. © Unsplash Yes, there still might be situations where you would still be with them. Be it a contest prep or a powerlifting meet or a sports event. But those are special instances or situations where someone keeping an eye on your progress and planning does help. But, if just staying in shape means you being with a coach and taking his coaching for a lifetime, that coach is making you a handicap and not helping you out in reality. 17. If you know a thing or two about K-Pop, then you'd probably be aware of the boy-band BTS. Well, their latest single, “Boy With Luv”, featuring Halsey has shattered the record for most YouTube views in 24 hours. That's right, the music video of the latest single from their new comeback album “Map Of The Soul: Persona”, racked over 78 million views within the first 24 hours of hitting YouTube. K-pop bands are clearly bringing more eyeballs to YouTube than most other videos these days. It's not T-Series or PewDiePie, but the hype's around K-pop now. via GIPHY BTS fans, who're collectively known as the ARMY, welcomed the new album and the music video with open arms and helped the boy-band pull off this epic feat. In case you're wondering, BTS broke the previous record set by none other than their K-pop rival Blackpink. Blackpink's “Kill This Love” title had the record under its name with 56.7 million views in 24 hours. Blackpink's track broke the record of Ariana Grande's “Thank U, Next” song which had 55.4 million views in its first 24 hours. However, the BTS ARMY really came through and managed to break their record by a huge margin. The “Boy With Luv” is the title track of BTS' new album and it parallels their 2014 song “Boy In Luv”. It's about love and finding joy in the smallest things in life. The song features Halsey, who apparently flew to South Korea to work on the video with the boys. The video, in case you're wondering, has over 124 million views and over 2.5 million comments as of today.

  19. Apple has officially cancelled its AirPower wireless charging mat, however, the demand for the product is still quite high. The charging mat was a bold wireless charger by Apple that would charge an iPhone, AirPods and Apple Watch by placing them anywhere on the mat. Currently, devices have to be placed on wireless chargers with a specific orientation in order for it to work. However, many companies have figured out a way to charge multiple devices at once ever since AirPower was announced. Just because you can't get your hands on the AirPower doesn't mean you can't enjoy wireless charging for multiple devices. Here are the best AirPower alternatives you can buy in India right now: 1. Baseus Smart 2 In 1 Wireless Charge © Basues This 10-watt wireless charging mat can simultaneously charge two smartphones and an Apple Watch. It's available in all white and is compatible with any Qi-certified device. It comes with Overload protection which means you don't have to worry about overheating. 2. 20. Netflix is a Pandora's box which keeps spoiling us with a million options to choose from. This week, if you're in for a bit of a sci-fi kick just like us, then here are 5 show recommendations that will give you a pretty edgy visual experience: 1. The OA If you didn't watch the first season when it came out around 3 years ago, then please prepare to binge-watch that first. For everyone else who was left on a cliffhanger with that weird metaphysical ending and hated Prairie for not letting us in on her fate, the second season is finally here and is supposed to be crazy. 2. Love, Death + Robots This is probably the most trending sci-fi show that everyone is talking about even if they haven't really watched it. This animated series has episodes with major underlying themes in all of them and is supposed to be worth your time. 3. The Order Consider this as a borrowed Harry Potter concept twisted with the sci-fi world. The series follows a college student who discovers a whole new world of scary creatures and is surrounded by only werewolves for company. 4. Russian Doll Not that it's a new addition to Netflix. It's been there for a while, but if you still haven't watched it, save it for a weekend binge. It will make you cringe and boggle your head when you follow the lead character's life span cycle which is like a roller coaster stuck on repeat. If you want to question scientific multidimensional reality and also like a bit of existentialism like 'Waiting For Godot', then just watch this. 5. Travellers This show follows a bunch of travellers who send their consciousness back in time to actually save the society from a downfall. A secret time travel show with a heroic mission thrown in? sure, sounds like a good watch.
  21. Filmfare just held its 64th award ceremony and many deserving candidates took home the special lady with them. One of them was of course the talented Alia Bhatt, who deservingly won the best actress award for her role in the 2018 crime-drama, 'Raazi'. (c)Twitter Obviously Alia had a 'thank you' speech prepared just like all winners usually do, but her speech was a tad different and beautiful all at once, compared to other celebrities in Bollywood who shy away mentioning, well, love. In her speech Alia thanked her team behind 'Raazi', but a special mention was particularly saved for her now boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor and the girl wasn't afraid to let her feelings out for him in front of the entire fraternity. 22. Spritzing perfume might seem easy. You just have to pump the bottle twice, right? Well, sorry to disappoint you, but no. You must have wondered why the fume doesn't last long and you need to wear it again and again throughout the day to smell fresh. But, what if you don't have the time? Here's what you should keep in mind while spraying perfume on to ensure it stays on for a long time: 1. Rubbing Kills The Fume © purplle That faulty application habit—pumping scent on the wrists and then pressing them together and against your neck is what creates friction that heats up the skin, which produces natural enzymes that switch the course of the scent. This affects the notes that quickly die down, far from making them distinctive. Do it right: Spritz on your wrists, wait for the liquid to sink in and don't rub your wrists against anything after. 2. Keep It In A Storage Box At Room Temperature For storing your fume, you need to factor in the detail that liquid fragrances are extremely fragile to environmental changes. Perfumes get ruined in cold to hot temperatures that make them age faster. 3. Buy Them In Small Bottles © Getty Images Perfumes should be consumed quickly. Storing a half-used bottle unused perfume on your shelf allows oxygen to break down the scent's molecules, altering its composition. 4. Lathering With A Moisturizer Helps A few hacks can carry a scent a long way. Fragrances don't last long on dry skin. You could accompany body lotion with your fragrance. The fact of the matter is that where you wear the perfume also matters. Here are the best perfumes in that market that you should know about: 1. Bleu De Chanel © purplle With citrus and woody notes, this fragrance is deep, fresh, intense, and vibrant at the same time. 2. Prada L'Homme © purplle Debuted in 2016, it's dominantly floral with prominent hints of wood, amber, and spice notes to round things up. 3. Dior Sauvage © purplle With contrasting notes of bergamot and pepper, followed by floral, amber, vanilla, and cedar for a strong but well-rounded finish. It's one of the long lasting fumes 4.Ralph Lauren Polo © purplle A heavy scent: tobacco, pine, oakmoss, and patchouli make it a Winter staple and a fume that you could rely on. 5. Calvin Klein Obsession © purplle Packed in a sensual bottle, the perfume has notes of cinnamon, amber, sandalwood, myrrh, musk, and vanilla. Obsession leaves a lasting impression. 6. Issey Miyake L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme © purplle With notes of yuzu fruit, lemon, blue lotus, and vetiver, it's like an uplifting traditional Japanese tea for a warm experience. 7. Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male © Getty Images The soft tones of mint, lavender, and orange blossom, juxtaposed against vanilla, cinnamon, and amber. 8. Hermès Terre d'Hermès © purplle Terre D'Hermès has notes of orange, pepper, cedar, grapefruit, and vetiver. More importantly, Terre d'Hermès is the base for spinoff scent: Terre d'Hermès Eau Intense Vetiver.
  23. India's aviation industry is among the fastest growing worldwide and airlines like IndiGo and Spicejet have been posting positive financials for quite some time. The industry relies heavily on dynamic fuel prices and there was a slight dip at the end of 2018, but the phase was temporary. The market is extremely price-sensitive and the low-cost model has worked out well. But the same can't be said for Jet Airways, India's oldest private airline. It celebrated 25 years of operations in 2018 but has barely managed to post a profit all this time. The airline is a full-service carrier and competes against Vistara and Air India. The industry has slim margins and full-service airlines are having a hard time going up against their low-cost competitors. Vistara is a Tata-Singapore Airlines joint venture and Air India has taxpayers, but who is looking after Jet? © Utkarsh Thakkar / @vimanspotter Jet Airways is reeling under a debt of over Rs 8,000 crore and has been defaulting on loan repayment and interest thereof. The crises started brewing from the second half of 2018 when it announced the need for an urgent bailout. In simple terms, the airline has no money left and has a huge debt to cover up. Adding to this, the current investors of the airline are not capable or keen on putting in more money. The airline has grounded a total of 60 aircraft out of 119 and is operating with half its fleet. This is because it doesn't technically own all the planes and leases them out from companies like GECAS. Since the airline has no cash, it cannot pay the lessors, and in turn, the lessors have grounded the equipment. © Utkarsh Thakkar / @vimanspotter Jet used to operate more than 4,000 flights every day but is now down to 900. Brand new aircrafts like the MAX 8 have been grounded for weeks and the airline has more than 200 of them on order. Boeing has also stopped delivering new aircrafts to the airline. This has lead to large scale cancellation of flights from important cities like New Delhi, Bengaluru, and Mumbai. The airline says the cancellation is to improve operational efficiency and it is accommodating passengers on other flights or refunding them in full. But, last moment cancellations mean the passenger cannot book a flight on another airline for the same price. © Utkarsh Thakkar / @vimanspotter The current investors include the promoter Naresh Goyal, Etihad Airways (UAE), and shareholders. A bailout plan has been in the works for months and an SBI-led banking consortium has agreed to pump in more money in return of equity. This would mean that Goyal's 51 per cent share shall be diluted down and Etihad has the option of either putting in more money to maintain its stake or get diluted as well. Initially, Etihad was expected to provide a small lifeline to the airline but the company is now looking to back out and sell its share. This means a new investor needs to come and not only purchase Etihad's holding but also further pump money into the airline. Goyal is a majority stakeholder and has failed to bring in a new investor. There have been reports that the Tata Group was also analysing an investment option but the deal couldn't materialize. © Utkarsh Thakkar / @vimanspotter The government has asked state-run banks to rescue the private airline according to Reuters. Even if banks bailout Jet, the airline will be classified as a Non-Performing Asset (NPA) since it hasn't paid its dues for more than 90 days. This eventually will be a challenge for the banks who are desperately trying to fend off NPA's and improve their portfolio. Meanwhile, dissatisfied employees are protesting against the airline over pending salary. Pilots at the airline have threatened to go on strike starting April 1 if Goyal fails to come up with a resolution plan. DGCA has asked Jet Airways' pilots, cabin crew and ground staff who have reported any kind of stress to not report for duty. © Utkarsh Thakkar / @vimanspotter Taking advantage of the situation at Jet, rival airlines who are facing pilot shortage are asking employees to jump ship. Even the aircraft lessors have offered 50 of the airlines' new generation Boeing 737 aircraft to budget carrier SpiceJet. Following the MAX 8 grounding, Spicejet is trying to normalize its operations and is in need of aircrafts immediately. Jet needs a bailout immediately and the government cannot afford to have a Kingfisher-like landing in an election year. Experts have been blaming Goyal's reluctance of reducing his share and leaving executive control of the company. © Reuters Airfares are expected to rise in the coming months since Jet had a major load carrying capacity and the supply of seats has reduced. Spicejet is also in a pickle due to 13 grounded MAX 8 aircraft. We suggest that our readers take caution when booking a flight on Jet Airways till the airline is able to figure out a solid restructuring plan.
  24. Just when you though the Modi fever couldn't get any hotter, it struck a real-time high again. Right after the announcement for PM Narendra Modi's biopic directed by Omung Kumar, starring Vivek Oberoi, we have some more visual representation of his life following through. Eros Now has recently announced a web series on the Prime Minister and we're really curious to know how it'll shape up. © Twitter Coincidently (or not), the series will be out in April. The same time the General Elections are to commence, from April 11 to May 19, in which Modi's party-Bhartiya Janta Party-led alliance hopes to be re-elected for a second term. The web series called 'Modi', will showcase his entire life, from his childhood till he became the Prime Minister in 2014. "It will showcase the eventful life of the inspiring and influential leader,” said the makers of the film at a press release. The series will be produced by Benchmark Pictures and directed by Umesh Shukla from the 'Oh My God' fame. © Twitter The series is completely based on Modi's journey as a politician. It will start from when he was 12, till he joined BJP in 1987, after serving the Rashtriya Swayamseva Sangh (RSS), after which he got elected as the Chief Minister of Gujarat in 2001, till he became the Prime Minister of India in 2014. We're not sure what the series will highlight, in particular, but we are definitely curious to see how they have portrayed the Gujarat riots which broke out in 2002, shortly after he became the Chief Minister of the state. For now, all we know is that Faisal Khan, Ashish Sharma and Mahesh Thakur will play Modiji at different ages, in the series. Common man to becoming the PM, you know the leader, but do you know the man? #ErosNow announces the most-sought-after biopic #Modi on India's PM. Witness his life unfold in this original series releasing this April, directed by @umeshkshukla.@RidhimaLulla @PMOIndia @sethimanav pic.twitter.com/EI7JDWWOz3 — Eros Now (@ErosNow) 13 March 2019 "The series will highlight many incidents that made him devote his life to the service of the country and it's the ultimate gateway to witness the life of a self-made man,” states the press release. The writers Mihir Bhuta and Rashika Anand have focused on making the series solely about his struggle and not so much about the politics involved. While we're sure the Prime Minister's many achievements and accolades will be highlighted, we can't help but wonder if we will get to see the possible hiccups in his government in the series. © Eros Now “Our attempt through this biopic is to tell the story of his struggle, ambition, intensity and success and how it not only inspires many but is one of the factors of his mass appeal.” - Rishima Lulla the chief content officer for Eros Group stated at the press release. Everyone certainly believes his growing up years, along with certain decisions he's made make for an incredible story or a web series. © Twitter While we wait with bated breath for the web series to churn out, we sure hope it's not propaganda for the coming elections and it truly talks about just his life and struggles sans any political agenda. Well, there's only one way to find out I guess, stay tuned for its release in April.
