Obligation of Hajj

English: And Hajj to the House is a duty owed to Allah by people who are able to undertake it.

Urdu: اور اللہ کے لیے لوگوں پر بیت اللہ کا حج فرض ہے جو اس تک جانے کی استطاعت رکھتے ہوں۔

Arabic: وَلِلَّهِ عَلَى النَّاسِ حِجُّ الْبَيْتِ مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ إِلَيْهِ سَبِيلًا

Reference: Surah Aal-e-Imran (3:97)

Quote

Purpose of Hajj

English: And proclaim to the people the Hajj; they will come to you on foot and on every lean camel.

Urdu: اور لوگوں میں حج کا اعلان کر دو، وہ تمہارے پاس پیدل اور دبلے اونٹوں پر آئیں گے۔

Arabic: وَأَذِّن فِي النَّاسِ بِالْحَجِّ يَأْتُوكَ رِجَالًا وَعَلَىٰ كُلِّ ضَامِرٍ

Purification of Hajj

English: Then let them complete their rites and fulfill their vows.

Urdu: پھر وہ اپنے مناسک پورے کریں اور اپنی نذریں پوری کریں۔

Arabic: ثُمَّ لْيَقْضُوا تَفَثَهُمْ وَلْيُوفُوا نُذُورَهُمْ

Urdu: بے شک سب سے پہلا گھر جو لوگوں کے لیے بنایا گیا وہ مکہ میں ہے، برکت والا اور تمام جہانوں کے لیے ہدایت ہے۔

Arabic: إِنَّ أَوَّلَ بَيْتٍ وُضِعَ لِلنَّاسِ لَلَّذِي بِبَكَّةَ مُبَارَكًا وَهُدًى لِّلْعَالَمِينَ

English: That is so. And whoever honors the symbols of Allah — it is truly from the piety of the hearts.

Arabic: ذَٰلِكَ وَمَن يُعَظِّمْ شَعَائِرَ اللَّهِ فَإِنَّهَا مِن تَقْوَى الْقُلُوبِ

English: Do they not see that We have made the sacred land secure while people are being taken away?

Urdu: کیا وہ نہیں دیکھتے کہ ہم نے حرم کو امن والا بنایا جبکہ لوگ چھین لیے جاتے ہیں؟

Arabic: أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّا جَعَلْنَا حَرَمًا آمِنًا

Remember Allah During Hajj

English: And remember Allah as you have been guided, for before that you were among the misguided.

Urdu: اللہ کو یاد کرو جیسے اس نے تمہیں ہدایت دی، اس سے پہلے تم گمراہ تھے۔

Arabic: فَاذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ كَذِكْرِكُمْ آبَاءَكُمْ أَوْ أَشَدَّ ذِكْرًا

English: Hajj is in well-known months, so whoever undertakes Hajj must avoid wrongdoing.

Arabic: الْحَجُّ أَشْهُرٌ مَّعْلُومَاتٌ فَمَن فَرَضَ فِيهِنَّ الْحَجَّ فَلَا رَفَثَ وَلَا فُسُوقَ
