Three FC personnel martyred in Balochistan's Panjgur

QUETTA: Three Frontier Corps personnel were martyred while three others were injured in an attack in Balochistan's Panjgur on Monday, security sources said. According to security sources, armed men attacked an FC convoy in the Murghab area of Panjgur district. Subsequently, three soldiers were martyred while three others got injured. 49 children die due to lack of oxygen at India hospital

KARACHI: Forty-nine children died at a hospital in Indian state of Uttar Pradesh over a month, Indian media reported on Monday, after a probe blamed lack of oxygen supply for the deaths. The deaths were reported at Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in Farrukhabad city between July 21 and August 20, according to the Hindustan Times. Sri Lanka may play one T20 in Lahore

COLOMBO: Sri Lanka may play one T20 match in Lahore, if given security clearance, a Sri Lanka Cricket Board official said on Monday.  Sri Lanka Cricket had originally expected to play all three T20 internationals in Pakistan, including one in Lahore. Four killed in separate firing incidents across country

At least four people were killed in separate incidents of firing across the country on Monday. Two incidents took place in Jamrud tehsil of Khyber Agency in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).  In the first incident in Mullagori area, one person was killed over personal enmity. According to the Khasadar Force, the assailant was arrested.  In a seperate incident near Chota Neher area, another person was killed, levies force said. The assailant managed to flee the site of incident.

Rain turns weather pleasant in different parts of Punjab
