Apple now has an official account on Instagram. The company has been advertising their products on the popular social media platform but the company is now going to up the ante by sharing their own posts on their own account. The account is currently winning many hearts as it is sharing photos and videos taken on iPhones as part of its 'Shot on iPhone' campaign.

The Apple Instagram account has the handle you would expect because you know the company will never settle for less. You can follow them @apple (https://www.instagram.com/apple/) on Instagram, and it also verified for its authenticity. Even though Apple is a firm believer of dictating their message through their own channels, the company has now started embracing Social media, although they still need to Tweet something.

The account is currently posting a set of images and galleries taken by various photographers using iOS/Apple equipment. Apple has also been sharing interviews with some of the artists who are behind these amazing images and uses it as a voiceover track.

The description of their account is rather straight forward, it includes quotes by the photographers of the featured images in each post. Apple is also giving credit to Instagram accounts of photographers so that the world can be exposed to their work.

Apple has also invited their fans and users to share their own iPhone photography on Instagram and use the apt hashtag i.e. #ShotoniPhone. Apple had a great relationship with Instagram until the social media giant came to the Android platform. Phil Schiller abruptly shut down his account as soon as the application was available for Android smartphones.
