OnePlus announced a brand new colour variant for the OnePlus 5 and will be available to purchase on Amazon.in for the Independence Sale. The variant is called the “Soft Gold” OnePlus 5 and it will be available with 6GB of RAM and 64 GB internal storage. This variant has a white front, different from the midnight black version.

According to OnePlus, it takes an average of 180 days to perfect the gold coating on a smartphone and the surface has been sandblasted and polished with intense precision. The limited edition OnePlus 5 will be available starting tomorrow at 12:00 am IST and will sell for INR 32,999. Customers can purchase the smartphone via Amazon.in or oneplusstore.in 

The Gold edition on the OnePlus 5 is identical to the one launched in June i.e. it has Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 processor under the hood and a 3,300 mAh battery. The display of the OnePlus 5 remains the same i.e. a 5.5-inch screen 1080p AMOLED display. OnePlus is also releasing the 8GB RAM/128GB Internal storage variant in the Slate Grey option in the coming weeks and it will be available to purchase on Amazon.in, oneplusstore.in and the OnePlus offline store in Delhi and Bangalore.
