Tone-on-tone outfits can be boring to begin with. Just three pieces of the same hue/shade are just...zzz. But a few like Sidharth Malhotra know this fact and miss the banal route and turn up the volume every single time. Take for instance, his recent appearance with Emraan Hashmi's favourite kiss, Jacqueline Fernandez (cc: Koffee with Karan). Although, Mr. Malhotra is sporting a single-coloured scheme, the outfit here isn't a blank stare at all.

There are three small (but fine) details we notice here that are already making us applaud the man! First, he isn't just wearing a basic T-shirt (unlike most of his contemporaries). It's a sweatshirt and it's ribbed. While he was going for a tone-on-tone outfit for the day, he knew he had to throw some texture in. Terrific! Two, those bottoms are cargo pants. While on a different day, we would have shamed him for wearing this, today...they're absolutely working for him. They're breaking the colour monotony and that's what he needed here.

And three, the shoes—you can't miss them. And, in case you haven't noticed, they're black (not grey). And...they're plimsolls, just perfect for day wear. But most importantly, the metallic strap looks hella good! Clearly, the man doesn't play it safe and we're here for it.
