Lenovo Announced Budget Dual Camera K8 Note

The Lenovo K8 Note has officially been announced in India and will be the company's first smartphone that will feature a pure Android experience. The K8 Note has been launched with a starting price of Rs 12,999 for the base variant and will be sold exclusively on Amazon India.

Lenovo K8 Note will be available to purchase in two colours i.e Fine Gold and Venom Black. The 3G (RAM) and 32GB internal storage will cost Rs 12,999 whereas the 4GB/64GB variant will cost Rs 13,999. The smartphone will be available to purchase from Amazing starting August 18th at noon.

Other specifications for the smartphone include a 5.5-inch Full HD display (1920X1080 resolution) and has 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass. Under the hood, the K8 Note has the ten-core MediaTek Helio-X23 processor and has been clocked at 2.3 GHz. It also has a dual-sim card tray and a dedicated microSD slot to expand storage (up to 128GB).

The Lenovo K8 Note has a dual rear camera setup with a 13-MP and a 5-MP lens which allows the smartphone to capture images with the ‘bokeh' effect. The front facing cameras are assisted with a LED flash and have a 13-MP sensor. Lenovo has also ditched their Vibe UI and now run on stock Android 7.1.1 Nougat. In the battery front, the K8 Note is equipped with a massive 4,000 mAh battery and supports quick charging.

The device also comes with a fingerprint sensor at the back and weighs only 180g. It also sports various sensors such as the Accelerometer, Proximity sensor, E-Compass and a Gyroscope. The smartphone is now water resistant but the company claims the coating on the device makes it “splash” proof.
