The tenth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is slated to begin on 5 April and the buzz around the cash-rich tournament is off the charts. As Indian cricket fans gear up to sport their respective team jerseys, the cricketers are also finding it hard to contain their excitement.

Australian leg-spinner Adam Zampa probably felt the same way when he sent out a personal message to his former Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS) skipper MS Dhoni on Twitter.

The 25-year-old took to the micro-blogging site and wrote, "en route to Pune can't wait to see this mans beautifully sculpted facial hair."

Dhoni has always been labelled as a style icon for his distinctive haircuts and beard styles. From his long-hair look to the bad-ass mohawk, the Ranchi cricketer has proved to be just as sensational with his style as he is with the willow.

Ever since his renouncement as India's limited-overs captain, the 35-year-old has been seen sporting the trendy 'dad beard'. The right-hander's new beard style was at display during the Vijay Hazare Trophy earlier this year.

Zampa, who played under the leadership of Dhoni last year, will undoubtedly be one of the key players for the RPS this season. It will be interesting to see how the new RPS captain Steven Smith utilises Zampa when they lock horns with Mumbai Indians in their opening match on 6 April.
