A Mumbai Newspaper Vendorandamprsquos Son Scores 96.6% Marks In 10th And Aspires To Be A Neurosurgeon

These days all we hear in the news are school kids doing amazing things and it is so nice to see them achieve success at such a young age. The newest addition on the list is 15-year-old Balaji Murgan Yadav, son of a newspaper vendor in Chembur in Mumbai, who not only passed the 10th standard, but did so with an incredible score of 96.6 per cent.

Just like every other student in 10th, his life also basically revolved around studies, with school in the morning and classes in the evening. But, even Balaji was stunned with his result. โ€œI was really surprised to see my score. I expected around 92% maximum but not above that. The biggest surprise was when I scored good in Hindi and Marathi languages,โ€ he said.

And obviously his parents are over the moon right now with their sonโ€™s result, even more so than him. Being the only child can come with a lot of pressure but he knows his path and his parents wonโ€™t let any financial issues come in between of him and his dream of becoming a neurosurgeon. โ€œEven they did not expect more than 90%ย  of me but this turned out to be one of the best days of my life,โ€ Balaji said.

Balaji wishes to become a surgeon and he confidently says, โ€œI want to be a neurosurgeon as I think my true happiness lies in saving lives.โ€

Although he has to wait two years to join a medical college, in the meantime, he plans to pursue his hobbies of painting and playing football. Preparing well for his last two years of school, he wants to score well and get into one of the biggest colleges in Mumbai, St. Xavierโ€™s College. โ€œI really wish to work hard in life and make my parents proud."

Well, we wish him all the best!
