    3 Protein Packed Recipes To Sooth Your Sugar Cravings


    Dieting can sometimes be a pain. If you are a big foodie and like to indulge in a small cheat snack over the weekend, you are stuck in a dilemma. However, an unplanned cheat meal can trigger a cheat day or even, an entire cheat weekend. This can be scary 

    and mentally taxing. While some have the discipline to cheat only once in a while, there are lots who cannot do without a dessert 

    or a nice snack. Here are three options that can help you with some damage control. But still, try staying away from over 

    indulging.

    1) Protein Ice Cream

    Ingredients

    1) 6 Almonds sliced into half

    2) 50 grams dry fruit

    3) 200 ml fresh cream

    4) 1 scoop whey protein

    Mix all Ingredients into a bowl and leave it to refrigerate for about an hour. A perfect option for those who crave ice cream or a sudden midnight snack!

    2) Yogurt Fruit Parfait

    Ingredients

    1) 200 grams plain Greek yogurt

    2) 6 Almonds sliced half, 4 walnuts

    3) 1 table spoon oats

    4) 1 scoop whey protein

    5) 1 tea spoon honey (optional)

    Mix all Ingredients into a bowl and leave it to refrigerate for about an hour. Enjoy this delicious snack which can be either had as a mid-evening snack or for breakfast.

    Peanut Butter Balls

    Ingredients

    1) Peanut butter

    2) Vanilla essence

    3) Powdered almonds and walnuts roasted on a hot pan

    4) Dry fruit

    5) Whole almond

    6) 1 scoop chocolate whey protein

    Take the peanut butter and add a bit of vanilla essence, mix the roasted powdered almonds and walnuts into a bowl along with the dry fruit. Make a ball out of the mix, while keeping a whole almond in the centre. Refrigerate the preparation for an hour till it turns hard, and then it is ready to consume. Adding one scoop of whey protein during mixing is a good option if you want a protein component into the preparation.
