Pakistani businesses operating in the bakery, confectionery, chocolates, sweets, biscuits, cakes and ice cream sectors have an excellent opportunity to showcase their products to international buyers at ISM Middle East 2026, taking place in Dubai from 3rd to 5th November 2026.

The opportunity is being promoted through the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) to help Pakistani exporters and manufacturers connect with international buyers, distributors, importers and business partners.

Dubai is an important regional commercial and distribution hub, making an international food exhibition an opportunity for Pakistani companies looking to explore GCC, Middle Eastern and international markets.

🍫 Which Businesses Can Benefit?

This international trade opportunity is particularly relevant for businesses involved in:

• Bakery products

• Confectionery

• Chocolates

• Traditional and packaged sweets

• Biscuits and cookies

• Cakes and bakery items

• Ice cream and frozen desserts

• Other related food and confectionery products

Manufacturers and exporters with professionally packaged products, competitive pricing and export-ready production capabilities can use such exhibitions to introduce their brands to potential international buyers.

🌍 Why Should Pakistani Businesses Participate?

Participation in an international exhibition can provide businesses with an opportunity to:

1. Meet International Buyers

Exhibitions bring together buyers, importers, distributors, wholesalers, retailers and other industry professionals from different markets.

Companies looking to enter the GCC or wider Middle Eastern market can use face-to-face meetings to identify potential distributors and commercial partners.

🇵🇰 Export Opportunity for Pakistani Food Businesses

Pakistan has a wide range of traditional sweets, biscuits, bakery products, chocolates and other food products that can potentially appeal to international consumers.

However, entering an international market requires more than simply producing a good product. Businesses should also evaluate product quality, packaging, labeling, shelf life, certifications, pricing, logistics, customs requirements and target-market regulations before approaching foreign buyers.

An international exhibition such as ISM Middle East can therefore be used not only for sales but also for market research, buyer meetings, competitor analysis and export planning.
