JK Rowing Apologises For Anti Trump Tweets, But Not To Donald Trump Though

<p>If you've ever seen JK Rowling's Twitter account, you would know that she really doesn't like Donald Trump, actually she straight up hates him and has always been very vocal about it. She never lets go of the chance to call him out, but this time it may have backfired on her.</p> <p>Recently, a video emerged, where it appeared as if the US President was ignoring a three-year-old, but shaking other people's hands as he left a conference on healthcare on July 24.</p> <p class="articleimg"><img id="ed-img" class="art-lazy imwidth-full" title="JK Rowing Apologises For Anti Trump Tweets, But Not To Donald Trump Though" src="http://media.new.mensxp.com/media/content/2017/Aug/jk-rowing-apologises-for-anti-trump-tweets-but-not-to-donald-trump-though-740x400-4-1501671631.jpg" alt="JK Rowing Apologises For Anti Trump Tweets, But Not To Donald Trump Though" data-original="http://media.new.mensxp.com/media/content/2017/Aug/jk-rowing-apologises-for-anti-trump-tweets-but-not-to-donald-trump-though-740x400-4-1501671631.jpg" />Β© Reuters</p> <p>She said, "How stunning, and how horrible, that Trump cannot bring himself to shake the hand of a small boy who only wanted to touch the president.”</p> <p class="articleimg"><img id="ed-img" class="art-lazy imwidth-full" title="JK Rowing Apologises For Anti Trump Tweets, But Not To Donald Trump Though" src="http://media.new.mensxp.com/media/content/2017/Aug/jk-rowing-apologises-for-anti-trump-tweets-but-not-to-donald-trump-though-740x400-5-1501671664.jpg" alt="JK Rowing Apologises For Anti Trump Tweets, But Not To Donald Trump Though" data-original="http://media.new.mensxp.com/media/content/2017/Aug/jk-rowing-apologises-for-anti-trump-tweets-but-not-to-donald-trump-though-740x400-5-1501671664.jpg" />Β© Reuters</p> <p>But, Marjorie Kelly Weer, mother of the little boy Monty, reached out to Rowling to tell her that her interpretation of the clip was wrong. Ms Weer wrote on Facebook: β€œIf someone can please get a message to JK Rowling: Trump didn't snub my son & Monty wasn't even trying to shake his hand.”</p> <p class="articleimg"><img id="ed-img" class="art-lazy imwidth-full" title="JK Rowing Apologises For Anti Trump Tweets, But Not To Donald Trump Though" src="http://media.new.mensxp.com/media/content/2017/Aug/jk-rowing-apologises-for-anti-trump-tweets-but-not-to-donald-trump-though-740x400-6-1501671690.jpg" alt="JK Rowing Apologises For Anti Trump Tweets, But Not To Donald Trump Though" data-original="http://media.new.mensxp.com/media/content/2017/Aug/jk-rowing-apologises-for-anti-trump-tweets-but-not-to-donald-trump-though-740x400-6-1501671690.jpg" />Β© Reuters</p> <p>Owning up to her mistake, she sent out four tweets, trying to apologise to Monty and his family, but very specifically not apologising to Trump.</p> <p dir="ltr" lang="en">Re: my tweets about the small boy in a wheelchair whose proferred hand the president appeared to ignore in press footage, multiple /1</p> β€” J.K.
