The government on Saturday revised prices of petroleum products, reducing the price of petrol and diesel by Rs1.8.
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said the price of petrol has been decreased by Rs1.8 per litre, while the price of high-speed diesel will will also be reduced by Rs2.5 for the month.
Petrol will now be sold at Rs69.8 per litre and diesel at Rs77.4.
"The new prices will become effective midnight," said the finance minister.
Prices of all other remaining petroleum products will remain unchanged.
