Indian captain Virat Kohli and his teammates were visibly floored after meeting The Great Khali on 7th August. From the Indian captain to seamer Umesh Yadav, the Indian cricket stars shared their respective photographs alongside India's first-ever World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) champion.

It was Great to meet The Great Khali, what a guy! ðªð¤¼ pic.twitter.com/FoUhHMWFcX

Taking to Twitter, Kohli shared his photographs alongside The Great Khali. “It was Great to meet The Great Khali, what a guy!” he tweeted.

When Strength meets Size ð Met the big man with an even bigger heart. Glad to have met you Great Khali. ðª

A post shared by Umesh Yadav (@umeshyaadav) on Aug 6, 2017 at 7:44am PDT

While Kohli was clearly star-struck, his teammate Umesh Yadav, too, couldn't help but share his photo alongside the Indian giant with his fans on social media. "When Strength meets Size. Met the big man with an even bigger heart. Glad to have met you Great Khali," he wrote on Instagram.

However, at the time when Kohli and his teammates were busy flaunting about their meeting with Dalip Singh Rana, Indian batsman Rohit Sharma decided to ruin the moment.

Well tried fellas, but the belt is here ððððª pic.twitter.com/e7EQlsN0Hc

Taking to Twitter, the Mumbai batsman uploaded a collage of photos where his teammates were pictured alongside The Great Khali while Rohit was seen holding the WWE Championship belt. He also took a dig at his teammates when he captioned the photograph: "Well tried fellas, but the belt is here".

The Mumbai Indians captain was gifted a customised WWE Championship belt by the Chief Operating Officer of WWE, Paul Michael Levesque aka Triple H, after his team won the Indian Premier League (IPL) title for a record third time.

.@MIPaltan @ImRo45 as promised, the @WWE Title is on its way... Congratulations! @WWEIndia pic.twitter.com/Zkq3bSmPah

— Triple H (@TripleH) July 13, 2017

A day after Mumbai lifted the IPL title in May this year, Triple H sent congratulatory tweets to the Rohit-led brigade. "Congratulations, @mipaltan. @WWE has something headed your way! @WWEIndia," he tweeted.

ð² This is unreal, to be holding this championship belt from the champion himself. Lot of fond memories. Thank you @TripleH & @WWE @mipaltan pic.twitter.com/AMONfJn7tB

— Rohit Sharma (@ImRo45) July 14, 2017

Touched by his sweet gesture, Rohit replied to the 14-time WWE champion: "This is unreal, to be holding this championship belt from the champion himself. Lot of fond memories. Thank you @TripleH & @WWE @mipaltan".

After sealing the three-match Test series 2-0 against Sri Lanka, the Indian cricketers are understandably making the most of their time away from cricket.
