The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Thursday said moist currents are penetrating upper parts of the country and likely to continue during next few days.

A westerly wave is affecting upper parts of Pakistan and a seasonal low lies over north Balochistan.

Rain and thunderstorm with gusty winds are expected at scattered places in upper Punjab (Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha divisions), upper KP (Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan Kohat divisions), Islamabad, FATA, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. 

Light rain/drizzle is expected at a few places in Sindh coast. 

Hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the country on Thursday.

The weather remained hot and humid in most parts of the country on Tuesday. However, rain and thunderstorm occurred at isolated places in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Hazara, Quetta, Kalat, Zhob divisions, Kashmir & Gilgit-Baltistan.
