ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) issued notifications for formation of parliamentary boards on Thursday. 

The boards will be responsible for issuance of party tickets to prospective candidates for the upcoming general elections in 2018. 

"The Chairman has directed the formation of province wise parliamentary boards for issuance of party tickets," said the PTI notification. 

The boards, formed in all provinces, will have Imran Khan as the chairman and senior leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi as the vice-chairman. 

The notification was issued from the office of the party's general secretary.
