    KARACHI: Unknown persons kidnapped the son of Special Assistant to CM Sindh for Katchi Abadis & Spatial Development Ghulam Murtaza Baloch on Tuesday from Karachi?s Gadap city area.

    According to SSP Malir Rao Anwar, the unidentified suspects abducted the minister?s son named Hayat Baloch at the time when heavy rain lashed the city. The suspects stopped the vehicle and asked Baloch and his family to come out of the car, following which they took the minister?s son along with them.

    The suspects haven?t made demand for ransom as of yet, said SSP Malir, adding that the abductors were speaking in a local language.

    Meanwhile in a separate incident, police arrested six suspects including a Federal Investigation Agency?s officer from Karachi?s Garden area.

    According to police, the suspects were arrested due to alleged robbery.

    The case against the suspects is registered in the jurisdiction of city division.

    According to police, the suspects had used official weapons during the robbery in an electronics shop.

    In another incident in the metropolis, a man was injured in an incident of firing in New Karachi area.
