It seems like we can't get enough of iPhone 8 rumours and the rumour mill is getting louder than ever. Having said that, we can confidently say that the next generation of iPhones will have the wireless charging feature which has already been adopted by Samsung and other companies.

We're merely a few weeks away from the official launch event and the rumours are pouring in about the next iPhone's features. Now we would not want to claims something based on a leak or rumour, however, some reliable evidence surfaced online which corroborates our story. 

RAVpower, a reputable company that manufactures battery and accessories has jumped the gun to announce that they are making the first wireless charging base just for “next-gen Apple devices”. This is essentially a direct confirmation that wireless charging is coming to the iPhone.

Speaking to Mashable, Allen Fung, GM of RAVpower said “ Our sources tell us the next iPhones have special technology for wireless charging that we have in this charger. Our wireless charger will wirelessly charge the next iPhones at full speed, as well as be able to charge other mobile devices wirelessly.”

You can deduce that the iPhone is probably going to have wireless charging simply because numerous leaks have suggested that the iPhone 8 will have a glass back. Glass acts as a good conduit for wireless charging and it is safe to say that once the dots are connected, you can assume the conclusion.

Even though the next iPhone will use a charging base for wireless charging, it is better than nothing, especially since the competition has been offering the feature for a very long time on various devices. Rumours suggested that the iPhone might have long-range charging by Energous, however it seems unlikely thanks to this latest information by RAVpower. 

Even though using a charging base is not as impressive as long-range wireless charging, it will be a welcomed feature for the iPhone.
