RAWALPINDI: Security forces in Balochistan have conducted intensive intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in the province and have foiled major terrorist activity, said a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

During the last four days, FC Balochistan has conducted IBOs in Summany, Kleri Dhal, Dera Bugti, Dashat areas of Balochistan.

ISPR added that search operations were also carried out in different parts of Quetta. Several suspects were arrested during the operations and a large cashe of arms and ammunition were recovered.

Recovered arms included IEDs, grenades, rockets, detonators and communication equipment.
