Bomb targets under-construction police checkpoint in Peshawar; no casualties

PESHAWAR: A blast took place at an under-construction police checkpoint here in Umeedabad Saturday night, Geo News reported.
The police checkpoint, which is currently under construction, suffered partial damage and its walls and gate were ruined.
No casualties were reported since the checkpoint was empty when the bomb exploded.
Approximately 25-30 kilogrammes of explosive material was used in the bomb, the bomb disposal unit ? that was called to the site of detonation ? explained.
