QUETTA: Three Frontier Corps personnel were martyred while three others were injured in an attack in Balochistan's Panjgur on Monday, security sources said.

According to security sources, armed men attacked an FC convoy in the Murghab area of Panjgur district. Subsequently, three soldiers were martyred while three others got injured.

The injured were shifted to the hospital for medical treatment, reported Radio Pakistan.

The attack was condemned by Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi. In a statement, he expressed profound grief over the loss of precious lives and has directed that best medical assistance is provided to the injured.

In July, unidentified persons attacked the convoy of Balochistan Health Minister Rehmat Saleh Baloch near Prom area of Panjgur. However, the minister and his aides remained unhurt. The minister's convoy was en route to Prom area when it was targetted.
