Maryam to continue campaigning in NA-120 on Tuesday

LAHORE: Maryam Nawaz, daughter of Nawaz Sharif, will continue campaigning for the upcoming by-elections in NA-120 for her mother Begum Kulsoom Nawaz on Tuesday.
Maryam will lead a rally in the constituency and is also expected to address a gathering of PML-N workers.
The ballot papers for the upcoming by-elections will be printed from September 10, with a five-day training course for polling staff commencing from September 6.
The polling scheme for the by-polls has also been issued by the returning officer.
The seat of NA-120 fell vacant after Nawaz was disqualified by the Supreme Court in the Panama Leaks case on July 28 on charges of concealing his salary from a Dubai-based company that he claims he never received.
A total of 44 candidates will contest the NA-120 by-poll. The Election Commission of Pakistan will establish 220 polling stations and 573 polling booths where the constituency?s 321,786 registered voters can cast their vote.
