LAHORE: A number of feeders tripped and power supply disrupted on Wednesday as heavy rain lashed areas of Lahore.

The rain caused inconvenience to citizens as several areas were inundated. Moreover, 55 feeders tripped in the city.

Due to the latest spell of rain, the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) and local administration teams reached the affected areas.

Earlier this week, a fresh wave of monsoon rains lashed Punjab?s capital, with Canal Road, Davis Road, Garden Town along with several other localities receiving heavy downpour.

Other parts of Punjab also witnessed a renewed spell of rainfall, including Gujranwala and surrounding towns.
