Lamborghini Reveals The New Huracan GT Racer That's Sure To Be A Firecracker On The Racetrack

After months of feeding teasers to its ardent race-car following, Lamborghini has finally revealed its 2018 Lamborghini Super Trofeo race rocket and the track car is an absolute beauty, inside and out. They are out and loud saying that "Lamborghini Squadra Corse, Centro Stile Lamborghini and Dallara Automobili are again guilty of having created the forbidden dream of all race-car enthusiasts" and we couldn't agree with them more, just look at the Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo Evo in the video and you'll know that Lamborghini is not just talking out of their ass, there is some serious hard work and grey matter that has gone into constructing this mean machine.

Replacing the incumbent racer, the Huracán LP 620-2 Super Trofeo, the Evo is a more refined, safer and more stable version of its predecessor. The company managed to do that by giving the vehicle a super light carbon fibre body, improving airflow intake and redirecting it to the rear in order to maintain strong downforce as well as reduce drag and finally topping it off with a shark-fin to improve the aerodynamics of the GT racer. They have additionally introduced traction control and the Bosch Motorsport ABS to improve the experience. The super car also retains the 2015 620-2's V10 5.2 litre engine with 620hp and over 320kmph top speed.

Lamborghini also has production variants of the Huracán in Coupe and Spyder versions as well as a performance variant (Performante) that debuted earlier this year at the Geneva Motor Show. Last but not the least is the limited edition of the vehicle or the Huracán AVIO. You can take a quick look at all four here:
