ISLAMABAD: A zonal Ruet-e-Hilal Committee announced on Thursday that the moon of Muharram-ul-Haram has been sighted and the Ashura would fall on October 1 (Sunday).
The zonal committee also informed this to the Ruet-e-Hilal Central Committee, which is also meeting for the sighting the moon of Muharram-ul-Haram.
The central committee is being presided over by its Chairman Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman.
