These Muslims Donated 10000 Kilos Of Food In London For The Homeless

Terrorism has no religion and sidelining it with only Islam is just ridiculous. While people are busy propagating religious hate, a group of Muslims in London gathered and distributed a massive 10,000 kilograms of food to the needy and homeless.

— Muslim Aid UK (@Muslim_Aid) December 16, 2016   Muslim Aid UK along with other volunteers contributed and even bought food from the donation money to feed the homeless on the occasion of Jumma, last week. Over 7,500 people were fed and handed over everything from pastas to pizzas and other grocery items. East London Mosque’s chief Imam said that it’s the duty of the every Muslim to help the needy irrespective of his religion or faith.

— Fadlullah Wilmot (@hfwilmot) December 16, 2016 He further added “Muslims are inspired by their faith towards helping others in need. It is a religious duty for Muslims to try to help others, irrespective of a person’s faith or background. In the cold winter months when we have the luxury of a home and hot food, it’s easy to forget about others that are in dire need around us. So it is in that spirit we take part in this big food drive”. I hope there are more such initiatives taken around the world that fosters the thought that humanity is bigger than any religion.
